Hello, right now I'm trying to login but I can't get past after the 2FA page, is there a problem?

shouldn't be the case.
Have you sent a screenshot with the error message you are getting to support@wirexapp.com?
Thing is, I can sign in without any problems over https://www.e-coin.io
But when I try to sign in through https://app.wirexapp.com, I can't get past the 2FA screen.
I'm not getting an error message but I'll be sending an e-mail  Smiley

wirexapp.com is not fully functional yet. you can log in either via https://e-coin.io or via Wirex mobile app
382  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: December 07, 2016, 10:05:05 PM
their services have little problem ,,load card take  too long up to 3 hours

but their customer support is not too bad for me because they always reply to me within minutes.

card load should not even take 3 seconds, not to mention 3 hours. If you faced smth like that, it means there was an issue with the system. Was it resolved by support, or did the load get processed without any involvement?
383  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: December 07, 2016, 10:03:42 PM
Don't waste your time with these people. Absolutely horrible customer service. Site never works. I patiently work with them for a week and they had one excuse after the other. The problem was never resolved.

I thought I would give them another try a month later. The exact same thing.  It wasn't a large amount but it was for my daughters birthday. There are enough bitcoin debit cards out there now not to have to put up with this type of service and aggravation.

Save yourself a headache and avoid them.

you must have been really unlucky to face the same issue twice. what's your registered e-mail and what exactly was the problem?
384  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: December 07, 2016, 10:02:33 PM
I deleted my previous message, as it contained only negative feedback and nothing really constructive, so instead of going to war, I'll follow MadGamer's advice and I'm going to post my issue here in hope someone can help me out.

To make a long story short, after many exchanges with Wirex support, I decided to stop trying to spend my funds on my plastic Wirex Mastercard in stores. So, I decided to buy BTC with my funds and use those instead. But it seems that I can't buy any BTC at all. Support is telling me the amount of BTC you load your card with counts toward your total so I tested with the minimum amount (0.01 BTC, which would still bring my total loaded / spent way lower than 2500) but it still won't let me buy 0.01 BTC. I mentionned this to the support and they never answered me.

Can we sort this out? Thank you. (gosha@e-coin : sending my registered email in private message).

replied to you in PM, mate, one way or another will sort it out

Yes, I got your message. Thank you gosha, I will continue to try to sort that out with the support and let you know guys how it went.

Alena from their support took on her to fix my issue. It took a few days but she kept me updated everyday so I felt my issue was taken seriously.

thank you for the feedback
I also wanted to ask what type of fees you charge depending on volume, is it variable to change or is it just set, I think that someone who does depositing and withdrawing 100 times more than the other should be paying the same amount.
Is there something about this in the future or will it stay set?

at the moment it's all flat (except the blockchain fee for transfers which can fluctuate depending on the load of the blockchain itself - we have no control over it).

But thank you for the idea, will give it a though for future

388  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 07, 2016, 09:57:07 PM
128 pages tell me that it might be a solid company behind this so kudos for this many traction to your topic but also in the last few pages there have been some solutions that wasn’t answered here so we don’t know if it was fixed or not which is a bad sign if you ask me.
When someone has a problem they share here it would be nice to answer them here as well so we can see you guys are working on it.

thank you for the encouraging words, and yes, we are trying to post re the issues addressed here - in many cases when issues are resolved, the member raising one forgets to post about it, that's just human nature
389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful! E-Coin/WirexApp may be turning to a scam on: December 01, 2016, 04:17:50 PM
Alot of complaints have gone out now about this site.
I think this has happened because they accepted in  dealing with paypal payments from various sources.
Have any of the problems in the past week been resolved yet?
I was going to sign up for a card but then when I saw the issues the others have been having with wirexapp withdrawals I thought other wise. Undecided

any similar card will have issues every now and then - it's a very young technology, and occasional hiccups are inevitable.

You can try a free virtual card from Wirex (when you install the Wirex app, you get the 1st virtual card free of charge) and give it a try - there is nothing to lose

Hello Gosha,
could you please look at the ticket 26176.
I am waiting more than one week for answer and still nothing there.
On 24.11.2016 I deposited 0.700093 BTC in my account.
The same day I wanted to send all bitcoins (converted to EUR) to my card, but unfortunately the transfer failed and those bitcoins did not appear back. They seems to be lost.
Thank you.

I was in the process of ordering to the US and come to find out its not available. What about the virtual debit card? Would I be able to make purchases with a virtual card?

neither plastic nor virtual cards can be issued to US billing addresses, that's a limitation of our card issuing bank.

Technically you can order a virtual card to an address in a different country, but it may not work with some sites that require US billing addresses - that would be on case by case basis
392  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: December 01, 2016, 04:11:21 PM
Can anyone please explain how the fees are applied? What means purchase fee? I loaded my card with 1btc and used it only for purchasing goods never took money from ATM, i have EUR card and use it in another country that has other currency, in the end i was charged with 17EUR transaction fees. Is this normal Huh

not having the full details, can assume that you have used the card to pay in a currency different from the currency of the card. Visa/MasterCard charge a 3% fx conversion fee in such cases.
Is that what you are asking about?
Yes that was the question. So if i purchase USD card and if i pay in USD on ebay and else there will be no fees? My other card issued from my bank, does not charge me when i purchase something in other country and in other currency, i have fees only when i pull money from the ATM. I have MasterCard.
Thanks for the quick answer

Yes, if you use a USD card to pay in USD, there is no fx conversion fee. If you use a USD card to pay in EUR or vice versa, there will be. Your other card also has it, you probably simply don't get shown the fees by your bank, they are simply included in the exchange rate.

e-coin.io

maybe if you look at the ticket queue you will find it, i have around 8 tickets about my missing bitcoins and none are responded since 4 days.

your account and tickets can be identified by your registered e-mail only, not by your alias from a public forum

Or just answer your support tickets?

Honestly your answers to this are proving you more a scam than anything.

we are currently working hard through the ticket backlog, hence the delays. Not saying it is normal, but that's reality for the time being. Will hopefully sort everything out within the next few days.

Did ask for your e-mail to facilitate the process - that's it, why you come to the conclusion you come to is unclear and surely unreasonable. The company is open in media, active talking to serious investors, serving tens of thousands of customers - yes, hiccups do occur, but there is nothing even near the conclusions you are making

e-coin is scamming.

I have deposited bitcoin then attempted to transfer to virtual cards, not exceeding the monthly or daily limits.
The money was taken and not returned or put on my virtual cards.

I contacted support, and was told I have reached a "lifetime limit".
I am guessing my account itself as an overall limit?
Because a brand new, unused EURO card was not letting me load.

The error message did not say I reached a limit.
It said unknown error.

Customer support told me I reached a "lifetime limit".  That is not true, it said "unknown error" and I have used the service for over 1 year now.

I also had canceled 1 virtual card, only to later receive a $650 REFUND from amazon, sent to that card.
I explained everything to e-coin, asking for that money to be returned to my account.  They did not reply at all do that.

Is there any other alternative to e-coin?

is your issue still unresolved?

please, do not throw around accusations before getting to the core of the problem. The issue with card limits is related to the card issuer rules and limitations, nothing to do with E-Coin/Wirex...
398  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful! E-Coin/WirexApp may be turning to a scam on: November 27, 2016, 02:17:58 PM

Take care when using wirex... transfer to credit card was failed and they are holding my bitcoin (500$) since 3 days without any reply to multiple support request.
If that's the case, have you considered posting in the forum's scam accusation board with evidence? I'd encourage you to do so if getting your money back is something you want. E-Coin/Wirex doesn't really have a great reputation when it comes to customer support and relations but as a service provider they sure as hell care about their public image. If they're indeed holding your funds hostage and aren't responding to your inquiries then this is absurd. Handling user funds responsibly is their one job and if they aren't doing it right pressuring them by going public might get your issue fixed faster.

before putting up any accusations it makes sense to check whether they are real and grounded.

Under no circumstances would E-Coin/Wirex "hold funds hostage". Response can sometimes be slower than it should be - yes, you are right there. On the other hand, "multiple support requests" mentioned by @akym are not really helping - it has been repeatedly advised NOT TO send more than one request on one issue, otherwise it causes confusion and delays.

What is the registered e-mail, so that we can check the status of the issue? Please, send in PM
