juggalodarkclow is okay. I kind of know him. I think me and him were scammed by the same german guy two months ago Cheesy Can juggalowdarkclow post the payment address here so everything will be public.

Here is a picture of the actual card I'm selling.

As you can see it is a reference design and you can use those red fans for replacement. When testing the card keep in mind that one of the cores will crash frequently with wrong drivers.

I don't have time (currently at work) to ship the card today so next shipment will be on monday. Is that okay?
382  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HD 5970, in EU on: June 07, 2012, 09:28:24 PM
PM where you live so I can check the shipping cost. I think we can make a deal with 58BTC.

Do you want a pic from google or from my card? It's a normal 5970 reference cards. It says vertex 3d on the red fan. I will post a pic when I'm home.

Escrow is fine. Do you have someone in mind? You cover the fees Smiley

1000W is plenty for 4 5850s, but that one is a little sketchy. The OEM is Super Flower, so it could go either way. Only 4 PCIe cables means you'll need 4 Molex to PCIe cables. It's single rail so it will probably work fine, but you might want to spring for a better one if you can afford it.

I'm using Super Flower PSUs and they have been working great so far. Right now I have 4x5870 + 7970 plugged to a 1000W Super Flower PSU. Cards are undervolted and the whole system is just under 600W.
385  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: ASUS DCII 6970 Which bios to go lower than 850MHz mem? on: June 06, 2012, 05:54:30 PM

What were the results then?

-fankih-

BSODs and other unexpected shutdowns.

Was that with AsusSmartDoctor? If it was, don't worry - it is completely normal Smiley That's why it sucks.

Msi Afterburner is the best over-/underclocking software out there.
386  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: ASUS DCII 6970 Which bios to go lower than 850MHz mem? on: June 06, 2012, 04:41:30 PM
Undervolting works great with reference cards. It a great way to lower temperatures and power consumption. This is not a reference cards so it might be difficult. Let's see what we can do.

Do not try SmartDoctor. I just can not explain how shitty program that is.

Lowering memory to 150MHz is safe. I always run my cards with memory at 150MHz. Stable for months.

About undervolting. I'm not sure if this works but you can try adding the following text to your hardware profile file
(.\Profiles\ VEN_1002&DEV_6899&SUBSYS_03 481043&REV_00&BUS_1&DEV_0&FN_0) I'm not 100% sure of that file name but let's hope it's there.

VDDC_uP6208_Detection = 46h

If there is this:

[Settings]
uP6208_Detection = 1

Delete it.

Let me know if it works.

God Save the Queen!

Now give us some performance numbers  Grin I don't remember when was the last time I wanted to buy something so badly.

Assuming each board will consume less than 40W, I prepared two 1.2kW PSUs and need some additional information to prepare power and communication cabling. If it was not already answered somewhere else, could you please respond to the following:

Wow, how many boards did you order?

2400/40?

No. If you had components drawing about 600W would you use 600W or 800W or maybe even 1000W PSU.

My guess is 40-50 boards max.

Even if shipping did not happen today, we had been warned also that this might happen Wink

Pretty much satisfied, except the non bit-pay payment option.

Also: as eldentyrells tricone firmware is out and a "Board Developer Kit"  for the firmware http://www.tricone-mining.com/bdk.html, is enterpoint looking into that (you probably watched the development), or do you even think you can suceed in developing an even better formware without commission?

TY and Kudos so far,

Rampone

I think best option for customers and for enterpoint is to develop a bitstream that works only with boards manufactured by Enterpoint. That way Enterpoint gets a proper compensation for their work. They would also get new customers who want to use the faster bitstream.

There is no use selling that bitstream because potential buyers already have Enterpoint boards with that same bitstream.

Is this possible? I can not think any downsides?

Is it possible to apply some restrictions on changing backup pools or payment addresses? Maybe an email when backup pool is changed on active worker. Also an email when payment address is changed and no payment on that day.

I don't really see those important but just suggesting. Best way to secure is your account is mentioned above by pirateat40

We can't say this enough, accounts are only as safe as it's weakest link and in most cases it's the users lack of password practices that ends up being that link. PLEASE use unique passwords for everything you do.

Part 2:Dealbreaker #1: Skimming Shares

I might be wrong but your scenario is possible only when solo mining? There are only a few who solo mine so I don't see that as a problem. Plus I think that whole system doesn't work in a way that lets EldenTyrell steal shares of his chosen.
392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rig announcement by Butterfly Labs - 25gh/s on: June 02, 2012, 10:00:19 PM
I almost get the feeling they arbitrarily delay postage. like they wanna mine themselves as much as they can before shipping it. Ofcourse they deny this.
The current wait is because of a lack of cases, apparently the boards are ready to ship but there's nothing to put them in.

Yeah. Like the case is somehow connected to mining. Great excuse to delay shipping and mine some coins.
393  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: June 02, 2012, 07:57:37 PM
He means that the hacker would change the GPUMAX backup pool. Your shares are sent to backup pool of your choosing when they are not leased (= no public work).

I vote for payout lock.

Vertex brand 5970. I have been mining two months with it. Temps under 65 and fan around 45%. 720/150/950mV giving me 630MHash/s.

Asking for 63BTC shipped in EU. If you live somewhere else, make an offer and I'll check the shipping costs.

Highest bid 58BTC and sale pending for qyverlb

Call me crazy but I just refused for an early board Cheesy I don't see the point having one until it's completely ready with bitstreams and all.

Mr Glasswalker. Post those number of yours Tongue
396  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: ASUS DCII 6970 Which bios to go lower than 850MHz mem? on: May 30, 2012, 06:11:45 PM
Try this:
Lower mem to 850Mhz
Close Afterburner
Open it again and you can lower further?
Repeat until you are done

OR

Lower to 850Mhz
Close Afterburner
Delete those profilefiles from C/program files/afterburner/profiles/VENxxxxx.cfg
Open Afterburner. It might say "you have to restart" just hit no.

This works with my 7970s. And also download the latest Afterburner. When installed you have to mos the cfg again wih those eula changes.
397  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 results with a kill-a-watt on: May 30, 2012, 05:25:42 PM
My numbers with three 7970 clocked to 925/150/860mV

hashing away with a speed of 1650Mhash/s

drawing 440W from the wall. That will drop somwhere around 420W when it gets cooler during the night. This is for the whole system which is not that efficient with a Phenom CPU and HDD.
398  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: ASUS DCII 6970 Which bios to go lower than 850MHz mem? on: May 30, 2012, 05:22:46 PM
Have you changed the MSI Afterburner (if you are using that, if not you should) EULA? If not, google msi afterburner eula and make the changes. Also change the unofficialoverclocking mode to 2 instead of 0 or 1.

Lower memory, close afterburner. Open afterburner and you should be able to lower the memory more. If not, before opening it again remove the files from c/program files/msi afterburner/profiles that have VEN text in the beginning.

I hope I made myself clear.

Avast keeps blocking connections to EMC by CGminer. Any suggestions on how to avoid that?

Allow the coinminer.exe.

You saw the wait list?
You knew the delivery time was more than 6 weeks?
And you ordered so shut the hell up.

I think this is lightlords way to advertise that "pay me to be quiet" in his sig. Imagine all the people that want him quiet and not making threads with absurd demands. Well played, sir.

Your business idea is good but there is one big flaw... Ignore button.
