61  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: August 31, 2013, 07:08:09 PM
Here is my contribution to resolving the bet.

Some info and pictures of my units: 400GH unit and 25GH unit. Total hashrate ordered 425GH. They seem to be working better without fans.

This is what I got yesterday:

Power consumption is for 16 H-Boards.

I'm still tweaking my units manually. I'd say 380GH from 16 H-boards is possible.

Here is a picture from my pool. Hashrate estimate is based on the previous 45 minutes.
Both units are connected to worker "Bebber_1".

- 365GH vs. 60GH.
- Silent vs. loud as fuck
- Waiting for 13 months after payment vs. waiting for one month after payment
- Both units are around $60/GH. Both use ~270W when mining. They are almost the same size.

Very good post. Like many people suggested, you should translate this to Finnish and post it to a website like http://www.uusisuomi.fi/

I would also like to correct your statement about bittimania.fi: the old limit was 1000€ per day. That limit has been removed now. It was just a precaution due to legislation regarding money laundering and funding terrorism. I now know more and that's why I removed the limits.

I'm interested in power consumption so I'd appreciate if someone could report that.

Could you please post ROI plan for this, I am considering to buy it.
But I must see your precise ROI plan of them.

Erm, what? Maybe you shouldn't buy if basic math is too difficult.

Do you honestly think that I should be in the same category with Pirate, Clipse and all the other assholes who have actually stolen something.

Yes

I value my reputation and it's a shame that this thread even exists. I would really like to resolve this with OP but how? I don't feel like selling anything to him after this public lynching. I'm open to suggestions.

Here's a suggestion: Send him what he rightfully won in the auction.  Your excuses are both bull.  You say the starting bid is X, he bids X, that's a valid bid.  You're the only person who is having trouble with that concept.  As for "private bids", you can just make that up.  "Oh I don't like the result of my auction, I'll just say I had a private bid for more."

So I doubt you know anything about Pirate, Clipse or any other real scammers. But hey, start a scam accusation thread and we'll see how that goes.

Here is my suggestion: when I've sold those units for 88-95BTC each, I'll ask my buyers to confirm here that the deal was real and actually completed. We'll see how real those private bids were Wink

Apparently people are ready to do literally whatever it takes to get their hands on an ASIC miner. I've got news for you, I ordered and paid these units over a year ago. That's long before you even knew about bitcoin. There's no way I will listen to an idiot like you and make my decision based on your suggestions. Go home, son.

To OP: I'm sorry for the trouble I may have caused. It would have been nice from you to reply to my message and say what you told here. Your message said that you were disappointed and you hope I keep my word. I thought that was about me promising to cover escrow fees.

Negative feedback is justified, I agree.

I honestly think that your bid wasn't valid. I thought so when the bid was placed and I still think so. I didn't say anything at the time because I assumed someone else would place a higher bid. Instead of that I got several PMs from people asking "how much do you want, what is your highest bid" etc.

What I don't understand is why you didn't try to resolve this with me first. You just told me that you are disappointed. I probably would have extended my offer of free escrow + free shipping + free hosting for a few days if you had offered a little bit more after the auction (like 85BTC). But instead you posted a thread where people are suggesting a scammer tag for me. Are you guys fucking kidding me? Do you honestly think that I should be in the same category with Pirate, Clipse and all the other assholes who have actually stolen something.

I value my reputation and it's a shame that this thread even exists. I would really like to resolve this with OP but how? I don't feel like selling anything to him after this public lynching. I'm open to suggestions.

I was actually surprised that there was only one PUBLIC bid in that auction.

1) Starting price was 80BTC and technicality or not, I consider your bid as invalid since you didn't bid 80.5 or more. I've been always reasonable with my trades and kept my word and this time it's no different.

2) I also wrote that I have private bids around 90-95BTC. I'm still getting PM's from people who want to bid more than 80BTC.

I don't see how you won this one. Seems to me that you were just shooting lowball offers and hoping for the best.

Might want to edit the title since there is no proof ITT

Little bit over seven hours left. Only one public bid Sad

I do have some private bids around 90-95BTC but let's wait and see how this ends.

Total amount of units I can sell: five (5)

I'm selling a 60GH unit which should arrive on tuesday. I will ship it out asap or host it free until monday.
We can use JohnK's escrow if you like. I'll cover express shipping and half of the escrow fees.

Some people asked if hosting is possible for a month.

Hosting is possible but I prefer not to host them longer than a week. You can have free hosting until monday 5th of August. Then I will ship your unit or you start paying for electricity and management fees (0.10€/kWh + 0.25BTC/unit/month).

80  Economy / Auctions / 3 x BFL 60GH units, EU, in hand on: July 27, 2013, 11:01:50 AM
Hi,

I'm auctioning at least three (3) BFL SC Singles aka. 60Gh units. I've received tracking code several days ago and based on previous shipments from BFL I should have these in hand on tuesday or wednesday.

Starting price for one unit is 80BTC. Bids must be in increments of 0.5BTC. Buy it now is 100BTC.

I'll cover express shipping and half of JohnK's escrow fee. That is, if you demand escrow(check my trust). Buyer who is ready to pay me directly gets 1.5BTC added to his bid. I prefer buyers from EU but it's not a requirement.

Auction ends on 28th of July, 11pm (UTC+2) or 2 minutes after the last bid.

If you need some verification, contact me in private. I have a legit business in Finland and I can give you all of my personal details. I also accept bank transfers but BTC is preferred.

Happy bidding.
