381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasoning before investing can save you from lose on: January 16, 2024, 07:10:17 PM
Investing in new projects is a high risk, of course, the return will be high if you find the right project that is successful, it can be said that investing in new projects is gambling because it cannot be certain even though the project has been analyzed by yourself.

If you want to be safe from this risk then it's better to avoid it, you don't need to be tempted by the benefits alone which is clear if you avoid you will be safe, anyways why not choose a regulated altcoin or choose bitcoin as a viable and safe investment? Maybe because it's too bored because of the long wait for profits?

So if you have the skills to choose the right project and are ready for the risks then this is not a problem for him.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 16, 2024, 06:34:56 PM
The main purpose of DCA is not to minimize the risk of investment, but DCA is used to get a lower average price instead of a lump sum. DCA is always recommended so that you can anticipate a price down after you buy, but you don't need to be too strict about this strategy because basically the price also has the potential to rise higher after you buy. Buying regularly and buying with DCA are different. I mean, regular buying can be done at any price, whereas buying DCA takes advantage of another dip to buy once you see a correction.
Yes it's one of the DCA get a low average price but DCA should be consistent what you set whether it's every week/two weeks/month then you will get the best price this way.

Minimizing risk in investing for me you must be able to manage finances the amount spent on bitcoin and the amount of your needs, if you cannot manage this then other risks will become complex so it is important to manage your cash flow.

Then you say DCA utilizes the falling price, then I don't think this is right, whatever the price is when you buy it, this DCA, whether it is high or low, you will still buy because in essence you will know the overall average price.

If you buy during a decline then it's buying Dips.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 16, 2024, 06:13:27 PM
I believe this is what makes it difficult for Pep when De Bruyne is injured. This is because there is no midfielder as intelligent as him. The 2nd goal against Newcastle was also proof, it wasn't hard but De Bruyne was very smart to read the goalkeeper's position. For passing, indeed he is smart enough to read the position, Oscar Bobb is also good at moving. De Bruyne's statistics with Man City are quite good, last season he made 16 assists and 7 goals.
Yes when he was out for a long time there was no midfielder as intelligent as Kevin De Bruyne he has accurate passing.
With his return to Premier League form perhaps Pep Guardiola doesn't have to worry about him now that he's in the right position and fit to be ready to resume taking the top spot now.

As Kevin De Bruyne is the best assist scorer I know, he continues to provide accurate passes forward.
I just want to wait for him to perform with Haaland again.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 15, 2024, 05:58:43 PM
But for bitcoin to go down zero level there are things and people that must have gone into extinction the entire users (community) of bitcoin, however I will just assume this news to be one of many FUDs we have always encounter in this crypto industry especially on bitcoin.
Bitcoin going to zero is impossible for me, when there are still many people buying it then the price will remain there. In theory it might be possible but in my understanding it is not possible.
There is a lot of news spreading FUD where bitcoin will reach zero price, it is said that there are no takers, this coin is said to be rubbish and that is said by people who don't like it, they prefer fiat so they say that.
Fud news will never go away, it will always appear to corner Bitcoin.

Sure, Saudi teams have a lot of money, they will try to keep their star players with their money, including Benzema. There is no chance for Benzema to leave Al Ittihad for free, he has a contract until 2026. Benzema also has a big responsibility in Al Ittihad because he is the captain. Al Ittihad will never let him to sit on the bench, Benzema will always be in the starting lineup.
It seems difficult to come true, because MU will won't be able to buy Benzema at a cheap price, considering his long contract with Al-Ittihad. However, the opportunity may be there, but MU cannot bring him in permanently. However, the decision remains with Al-Ittihad, with his status as captain, there is only a small chance that MU will be able to sign him, even though Benzema wants to play in Europe again, not will be easy for MU.
What is it about Benzema that makes it so difficult for him to stay at Al Ittihad, is there friction at the club with a player or coach making Benzema uncomfortable? It's not clear what the problem is but Benzema has been absent from training according to reports.

So according to the news report, I read that Man United will not buy Benzema but rather borrow for the rest of the season and return at the end of the season, so buying him will be difficult for Man United.

But those talks haven't started with Al Ittihad yet, only soon.
It will depend on Al Ittihad's decision, but I'm guessing it won't happen because Benzema is on a fantastic contract with his current club.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: January 15, 2024, 04:52:20 PM
Another person said that after the approval of the ETF Bitcoin could not immediately rise even though it was positive news, of course there was a time when bitcoin rose significantly again, then the person compared after halving bitcoin did not suddenly rise again there was a fairly strong recovery process after that it could be bullish.

While during this decline there will certainly be a lot of speculation as to why bitcoin has fallen into correction while on the other hand the ETF has been approved, the reasons must be many because the news is currently linking more to bitcoin of course because of the approval.

Not buying altcoins during the dip - this is risky.
Not necessarily when halving the price is cheap, this is not certain.
Of course DCA is the best way but for bitcoin.
Observing the market without interaction is just a spectator.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 15, 2024, 04:30:48 PM
Girona have been in a very strong position this season compared to Almeria. But the match was a goalless draw. I was very disappointed with Girona's performance in this match. We haven't seen such a poor performance from Girona's players this season. Almeria players dominated the entire match. Girona players were able to make a total of 5 shots in this match. As the Almeria players performed, I would say they deserve 3 points in this match. But unfortunately for them, due to not having any experienced striker, they could not score any goal despite attacking a lot.

Perhaps Girona's decline has begun. They have drawn two of their last three matches. And soon the Girona team will lose the top spot in the points table.
Wouldn't be surprised it's the norm - sometimes relegation teams give the top teams a hard time when they want to keep their points but it's never predictable, because my guess is that Girona would have won easily with at least 3 points but the scoreless result was a disappointment.

A draw for Almeria is more than enough if they win then it's a great team to beat a tough team, but it's still unlucky and indeed Almeria's squad lacks potential players.

Now this is my question. Could this be the start of Girona's decline? Sometimes it's when the second half gets going that teams start to shake.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 02:33:08 PM
I don't usually make monthly deposits but weekly deposits that I get from the forum when I get paid, I always allocate about $10 - $15 for sports betting, it varies but I don't do it for most of the week sometimes when I get bored I always stop and don't deposit because I know other needs are more important than gambling.

If what you conclude from the monthly $50 for gambling for a month I'm sure I can do the discipline and will not increase it again because it is more than enough, why I say so a month's fund for gambling is not more than $50 then my discipline can be seen until there with the risk of losing money in gambling is natural sometimes it can win but can lose if the calculation for a month.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 02:02:51 PM
Chelsea - Fulham = a game where we should see both teams to score but I do think Chelsea will secure this game with a win that will help them a bit if they still chase an European spot ( top 6 ). For Fulham , if somehow they make a draw , they will be happy with 1 point.

Newcastle - City = I really can't read this game but I do expect Newcastle to take point or points today.  Grin
Chelsea are still leading by one goal but I think it's still not safe because Chelsea could be a little careless where Fulham can attack faster so that it becomes a goal, until now it still stands even though with a slight victory of only one goal it certainly means a lot to Chelsea.

I still doubt Chelsea can last until the end, but on the other hand I want Chelsea to win. Lol

I predicted this match... This is Man City's usual victory Newcastle there are no surprises only matches sometimes they are a little more confident but still Man City's superiority is above it.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF approved, next Ethereum ETF? on: January 12, 2024, 02:57:26 PM
After the approval of the Bitcoin ETF which went up instead of ETH I don't know what's behind all that because there was no increased reaction on bitcoin whereas when the news was fake bitcoin rallied even though it wasn't for long.

Bitcoin ETF approved being good news now moving on to ETH news will this be approved by SEC? I don't think it will be so fast then I see the news in May how the continuation about Ethereum ETF will be discussed as though.

I will wait for this moment to happen.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 12, 2024, 01:50:36 PM
Man City is always the favorite team when Haaland is absent Alvarez is in charge of the front line but he always does a good job so I say this victory can be on paper for Man CIty.
The midfielders have recovered enough I think the ability to supply the ball forward will be better especially there is Kevin De Bruyne who can appear even though I don't think it will be full time to play.
There is no time for Man City to lose or draw because they have targets that need to be met after some less than impressive performances. Now with the existing squad, even though Haaland is absent, it is not an obstacle for Pep Guardiola to immediately collect points. Newcastle itself playing at home is a plus point but it is not a benchmark that they can beat Man City game. I would bet on the Citizen winning. St. James' Park is not too scary because Head2Head Man City is still far ahead.
They have to catch up with the points that are quite behind even though there is one game but that is not a guarantee as long as they can win I think it will be Pep Guardiola's focus to get 3 points in this match, even though you say playing at St. James Park is a plus for Newcastle I think it is still low because their performance is still not good at the moment.

Despite playing away Man City odds are small @1.55 if you look at the betting market now while Newcastle are at odds @5.50 the difference is very far, the bookies know Newcastle will not be able to win.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 12, 2024, 11:59:44 AM
Even though the match held in Newcastle's home, but I believe Manchester City will win. They have a complete squad, only Haaland is the exception, but I don't think it will be a big problem since Manchester City have many players who have a good shooting skills.

Maybe they only win with few goals like 1-2 goals, Newcastle most of the time can play good in their home ground.
I'm not too sure even though playing at St. James' Park because the decline experienced by Newcastle is quite significant, it has lost 3 times in a row if losing again will be its 4th defeat in the Premier League.

The coach is the first person to be blamed for the bad results received by a big team. If Pochettino were not Chelsea's coach, he would not be blamed and continue to get news on the headlines.
That's the risk for a coach in managing a big team. Not the coach, but the team he coaches.

The decline in Chelsea's performance and efforts to restore it to good condition require a process. The first factor lies in management, the second lies in coaches. Management and coaches must work together. The coach must understand the needs of the team, especially the players. If players are difficult to manage, ignore them because football is a team game, not an individual game.

Maybe Pochettino is not suitable to manage a team as big as Chelsea. If Chelsea's performance problems worsen there, then Pochettino must be replaced.
Was it Graham Potter whose first coach made a lot of mistakes? After that Prank Lampard became an interim coach while then now Pochettino, who equally cannot make Chelsea perform better.

This is hard to imagine because after changing to ownership from Abramovic to Toed Bodhly Chelsea's development is still not good, in fact there is no improvement at all despite spending a lot of money to buy expensive players but not according to expectations.

So we can only observe how Chelsea's process is now, Pochettino was given the task of making Chelsea more developed including buying several players and existing players must be maximized but he is still unable to do it, coaches and other coaching staff play an important role but this has not yet made Chelsea a formidable team.

If I'm not mistaken Pochettino's track record in the premier league is still not good, has he ever won with another team?
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally ETF approved on: January 11, 2024, 10:17:03 AM
Yep! This time it looks for real!

It's strange that the market reacted more dramatically to the fake news yesterday than it did today. Traders appear to be more cautious now.  That was likely the intention of yesterday's "hack" of SEC's twitter account.

We finally saw the news approved. Wink

It's a little strange on the price reaction, maybe when the fake news was announced by the SEC twitter but in the end it will be hacked, but this time it's different even though it was approved but it's not the SEC who announced on their twitter so there's no price reaction, I just think maybe it's not the time yet.

Yes a little more cautious, although many say tomorrow there will be a bigger price reaction.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 11, 2024, 09:41:09 AM
We got a chance to enjoy a wonderful match. Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid matches are always competitive. This match was no exception. From the beginning to the end of the match, both teams fought to win. The match was still tied at 3-3 after 90 minutes. And with a goal in the last extra 30 minutes, Real Madrid won 5-3.

Real Madrid attacked a lot in this match. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, had a relatively low attack volume, but each of their attacks was organized and planned. Vinicius, Bellingham, Carvajal performed well in this match. On the other hand, although Griezmann has played very well in the Atletico Madrid squad, we have not had a good performance from Morata.
It was an exciting match with lots of goals in normal time plus extra time with 2 goals from Real Madrid for the final victory, obviously not bored at all as I enjoyed the match.

At the start, Atletico Madrid had the better of the goals but Real Madrid's attack was so tight, in the end Real Madrid got the equalizer in the 85th minute from Carvajal and it was a great attack despite several collisions with the opposing players.

The Real Madrid players did well, I liked how Vinicus and Rodrygo did despite not scoring.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Long-term profitable strategies on: January 10, 2024, 09:18:08 AM
Not sure there is a long-term profitable strategy in gambling even if it's just on sports betting or other people often call poker a strategy game.

I myself am more often profitable in sports betting but this is not certain sometimes I also do not bet on 1 or 2 leagues but more so if for example only focus on a certain league it will be boring and betting is no longer fun.

But what I feel is certainly profitable sports betting even if it's not in the long run I don't expect gambling to be like an investment but rather for the fun of liking football hence the frequent betting on this sport.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 10, 2024, 08:26:56 AM
Maybe Chelsea lost on purpose and won't win the next return game either... They have a very serious schedule of next matches... After Middlesbrough they have games with Aston Villa and Liverpool... So I wouldn't be surprised if they lose again...
I think this is not a deliberate defeat but the completion of their attack is still less than optimal, so this defeat is very unnatural actually because their opponent is a championship team that should be able to win, but unfortunately they lost even though I was confident with the bet. Lol

The busy schedule I feel Chelsea is not sure to win, this team still lacks a lot for the attack line especially their defense is still quite weak that's what I see.
Well the same, I won't be surprised if Chelsea lose because with Middlesbrough they can lose how about a tough team.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Approves ETF - Turns out, NOT on: January 10, 2024, 07:53:39 AM
I still remember when Cointelegraph said that the Bitcoin ETF approved the price soaring high, but not long after that it was a technical error because the news was not true.

Now the SEC's own account announced it then jumped and after 10 minutes confirmed its account had been compromised, what's more drama than this, even though Gary Gensler said the statement was not true.

Obviously this will be bad news after the news is not true, it makes the price of Bitcoin fall again, although not significantly, still many people hope there is something positive but this is a different fact.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next alt season? on: January 09, 2024, 02:59:05 PM
so I am just wondering when do altcoins usually start really pumping, is it long after the Bitcoin halving?
You never know when the altcoin season will come, but is your portfolio up 29% because of the altcoin season? I don't think this is not the time yet, of course I said because bitcoin has not been ATH and has not been halving either, so there is no need to worry if the market has started bullish, usually the season will come together.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 09, 2024, 01:34:52 PM
Conte refused again Napoli.

They offered 8m year salary, he just said no for the 3rd time in 3 months.
So the real problem with Conte rejecting Napoli is whether it has to do with the salary not being suitable or whether he is simply not comfortable being Napoli's coach. I think this is still confusing and there is still no real clarity as to why Conte rejected Napoli. In fact, with the current squad, Conte feels he is able to revive Spalletti's legacy, especially as Conte is also Italian, so it will be easier to manage this club because he has the same habits from his country of origin.

However, if that is true about the salary offered by Napoli, I think they would be better off looking for another experienced coach because 8 million euros per season for a coach is quite large. So no one knows if they will continue to pursue Conte and Napoli must immediately move on from him.
There is still no clear news at the moment about Conte and Napoli, but I read in the past that Conte rejected Napoli not because of salary but because he wanted to take a break with his family and he has no intention of returning in the near future, this was news a few months ago, of course it will change if the situation is now in the transfer window.

Indeed, the previous salary at Tottenham Conte got 15 million per season this is much bigger and Napoli bid smaller, but there is a link maybe from the session offered by Napoli it's just that Conte refused subtly and wanted to be with family.

If he returns to Serie A it might be better, I'm sure Conte is a genius coach.
