Are people still interested in these reports I make?  It's been a while since anyone commented, so I don't know if I'm just wasting my time or not.

dooglus.

I am not a share holder. I was previously. But, I check your chart every day. It's interesting information.

He was free to file bankruptcy, as any person or company can when their liabilities exceed their obligations.

You do know what happens when a Limited Liability Corporation that has no money at all files for bankruptcy, right?

I certainly do.

I expect that the domain name, trademarks and software would have sold in liquidation for more than was recovered by waiting and hoping Roman would turn out to be a responsible adult.  Someone competent could have stepped in and operated what was a promising contender to replace Mt.Gox.  They might even have offered to transform the bitcoin debt into equity in the new company.

Now, between the damage to goodwill that Roman has done to the trademark, and Fincen's position on regulation, the company is probably worthless.  That is the problem with allowing an incompetent to continue operating a company; they actually reduce the value of the company over time instead of increasing it.

All you need is 3 creditors and a lawyer: http://bankruptcy.cooley.com/2012/05/articles/business-bankruptcy-issues/forced-into-bankruptcy-the-involuntary-bankruptcy-process/

Go for it.

What makes you think it hasn't already happened?

Optimists hear that Roman is sleeping on people's couches and think he's a happy go lucky hippy trying to make good on his debts.

To me, it sounds like a guy hiding from process servers.

I was never good at hiding from process servers. Maybe he could provide the rest of us some tips if it's anything more than couch surfing.

Hopefully they'll get the exchange back online once he gets the new bank arrangement.

Remember, the bitcoin markets/exchanges are completely unregulated, know that when you send a wire to them, don't cry about it now.

WTF? Really?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

I know that once I get my money back, I'm never touching anything Roman does again.

Sorry, but at this point, I almost want to say the same thing to you. You think you're getting your money back? WTF? Really? I mean that in the nicest way of course.

Move on. If I'm wrong, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Sorry I miss something, how do we know that we are out of blades?

I guess we don't know for sure, but Friedcat at least is not selling the hardware, he updated the sales thread for that saying they are out of stock.

Stratum+Merged Mining Test Server
All mining done on the test server is paid at 0% Fee PPS

As promised, here it is!  The test server is now running on the live Bitcoin+Namecoin networks, and users are encouraged to redirect some hash power so we can see if it solves any blocks properly.  It will show up in the 'Payments' section as the current difficulty+1, with a 0% fee to avoid any interference with current difficulty payments.

To connect to the test server, point your STRATUM mining software at:  198.154.98.210  port 7777

The test server may experience outages, unannounced reboots, or even be turned off with very little notice.  Make sure you have a backup pool server configured so you don't end up losing mining time when the test server is not available.

Quoting this again (new thread page) so anybody who missed it is aware that the test server is available and connection details are included above.

Do you have a chart or anything showing how much power is pointed there? Do we need to change any settings for our workers? Or just point them at the IP? Looks like pointing it worked just fine from a hashing stand point, shares accepted.

Symantec.

That's actually a personal swear word this week. They sure catch a lot of dolphins in their tuna nets.

PG, do you search every topic out individually, or do you stumble on this while searching other topics? What happens when Satoshi messages you and asks you to stop? Do you or have you found the truth for all?

Sammel, I did PM you with an address and instructions, have not heard from you. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seems Apple is planning to release a currency of their own. on: June 07, 2013, 08:00:13 PM
Not a threat to bitcoin. Calling it a "currency" is a bit of a stretch. Like "Amazon Coins," it's basically an Apple giftcard.

But wopwop's reaction was just hilarious. Dude you need to take a chill pill if Apple Gift Cards look like the "worst threat to bitcoin this year."

I'm reading down the responses and was amazed it took so long for someone to mention the idiot. lol. wtf....

399  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The NSA Is Building the Country’s Biggest Spy Center (Watch What You Say) on: June 07, 2013, 05:14:15 PM

In last 10 years I have decided about 3 or 4 times: "This is it, I'll GPG all my emails from now on"
Guess what, most people at the receiving end do not use it and have no wish to use it. I do hope this attitude changes over time and using GPG will become a trend.

I work in a law firm. I've pitched millions of times that emails are sent plain text. If you REALLY want secure communication with clients and other law firms, they should use GPG... never happened.
400  Economy / Services / Re: Apple iPhone Factory Unlocking - Best Prices - Fastest Service on: June 07, 2013, 05:00:46 PM
how do we do this? i wanna try out this service on an older phone (AT&T) iPhone 4.

You can PM me for a payment address and send me the IMEI number.

can u do samsung s4 from sprint? I use at&t but currently stuck with a sprint phone. If you know a way to unlock it elsewhere, I'd still be happy to pay a small bounty.

I cannot unlock a Sprint S4. The second part of this is, I cannot unlock phones made on or after January 26th, 2013 (Because of US Legislation, this is strictly forbidden)  S4 is of course made after that date, so please do not ask me to do something that is illegal.
