Ethereum est une alt, ce qui veux dire "crypto alternative", au sens où si tu ne peux pas te payer des Bitcoins, tu peux (pouvais, aujourd'hui ce serait de la pure folie) te contenter de Ethereum.
Tu peux toujours et pourra toujours te payer des BTC. T'as pas besoin d'avoir 1 BTC pour exister. Tu peux avoir 1 Satoshis si ça te fait plaisir. L'argument : le BTC c'est trop chère est bidon. |

l'intérêt serait surtout pour mes clients, sa leur permettrais de payer moins de frais et puis il y a un autre projet derrière mais ça je le garde secret pour le moment  Honnêtement ça te sert à rien. Trop de ressources pour pas grand chose au final. Tu as qu'à regarder les assets chez NXT si tu veux utiliser un token custom pour tes sites. |

Si ETC existe, c'est entièrement la faute des mineurs qui n'ont pas tous update vers la version HF, sinon ETC n'aurait pas existé. Et une fois les Market sur les Exchange ouvert, d'autres mineurs ont basculé sur ETC car devenu plus rentable qu'ETH.
Aillant participé à la communauté Classic depuis le fork, les mineurs qui n'avaient pas update son vite partit. Mais le temps qu'il le fasse ils ont contribué à la baisse difficulté. Mais même avec la difficulté il y avait moins d'une centaine de mineurs pro-Classic qui minaient volontairement donc c'est pas vraiment la faute des mineurs qui n'ont pas update. Moins de 20 Ghs au plus bas. Malgré que se soit très profitable de miné de l'ETC ( car il y avait de la demande OTC ) les mineurs partaient car aucun moyen pratique de vendre. C'est Poloniex qui a permis de sauver ETC en montrant aux mineurs qu'il y avait de la demande. In fine Bitsquare aurait pas été à chier ETC aurait mooné beaucoup plus vite. |

Oui c'est ce que je ne comprends pas très bien. Il n'y aurait pas eu de forking si les mecs de Classic n'avaient pas décidé de reprendre l'ancien code, si ? Le prix d'ETH est toujours resté le même, or il me semblait qu'en cas de forking il devait être divisé entre les deux forks. Du coup, d'accord, ETC a démarré de 0 mais alors quid de la fork dont on parlait avant ? ETH aurait tout aussi bien pu forker sans que cette deuxième monnaie soit créée. La deuxième monnaie ( même si en théorie c'est la première ) est créer par défaut tant qu'il y a des mineurs qui ont pas update et donc ne mine pas sur la chaine qui fork. Ensuite elle a juste été repris sous le nom de Classic. Rien de spécial. Elle aurait pas été miné par les gars d'Ethereum Classic, elle aurait finit par "mourir" quand les mineurs auront update et switch sur le fork tenu par la majorité. |

La plate-forme chinois Yunbi aurait l'intention de mettre ETC dans son catalogue ... Je suppose qu'ils jouent une sorte de billard à trois bandes pour faire du tord à Ethereum et profiter à bitcoin. La guerre est donc déclarée.
Pour tous ceux qui au moment du fork avait des ETH en dehors d'un exchange, il est donc encore temps de profiter de cette bataille .... Echangez vos ETC avant la fin de l'open bar !
Ma méthode sur PC (linux chez moi, mais sous windows le principe est le même):
- déplacez vos ETH vers une autre adresse neuve par sureté
- arrêtez geth ou mist
- ouvrez votre PC sous un autre compte, disons etcusr
- démarrez "geth --oppose-dao-fork", et chargez la blockchain sans le fork
- n'oubliez pas à un moment de copier vos clefs dans le répertoire .ethereum/keystore de l'utilisateur etcusr
- lorsque la blockchain est complète, mist devra voir votre compte avec les ETC que vous aviez au moment du fork
- échangez ... ou vous voulez. Je suppose que vous n'aurez pas d'autre choix que poloniex puisque yunbi, c'est chinois.
ceux qui stockaient leurs ETH avant le fork uniquement sur un wallet HD (type jaxx), il leur faudra importer leurs clefs pour les mettre dans le répertoire keystore de leur geth/mist non forké

Il y a des contrats pour ça. Effectivement, si les ETH étaient sur un exchange au moment du fork, il est impossible de récupérer les ETC. C'est aussi le cas pour tous ceux qui utilisent un wallet sans conserver la maitrise de leur clef privée.
Je suppose qu'avec la situation actuelle ou ETC prend de la valeur, les principaux exchanges vont se sentir obligés de proposer la restitution des ETC.
La règle du jeu actuel est de profiter qu'il existe des pro-ETC : obtenir ses ETC, les vendre vite, prendre le pognon et se casser ....
