It took a while for me to receive the 5CRP for reviewing, but regardless of that I had still received the promised amount. Now let's start with the login
image loading...

It's not hard to do the login since after you download the program, you'll just need to install it then boom you'll be launched directly to the client that looks like the one above. The same with creating an account, not too much hassle and issues. The only thing that confused me a lot is once you are done logging in, since if you don't pay much attention or you're not that much into complicated stuffs, it'll be problematic searching for the Lobby. It also took me a while since I am also a new user on the program and still exploring, so you'll need patience and some time to read the guide and those icons above. I recommend that it's better to arrange or sort the lobby by category after logging in so that users can immediately see what they need and can browse easily where they want to. Personally, as a user I'd want my program not only to run smoothly but also to access which section/category I wanted, coz it's kind of complicated for users, and mostly people don't want too much hassle just to find where the chat lobby is located, wallets and even the browsing mechanism.

Regarding the swapping and wallet section, there aren't that much problem for me though it took a while when I was swapping CRP to UUSD, but it's understandable since the process requires confirmation. Aside from that just a few clicks and you're done already, also adding the fact that it only takes a few percentages when swapping.

image loading...

I have also tried making vouchers which only took me a couple of seconds to make. The most amazing part is that the network fee only requires you to pay %0.15. I don't know about most of you guys but, this is the first ever I've tried making vouchers that are hassle free and cheaply. Here are some vouchers I made after receiving the reviewing fee;

uVoucher amount: 2 CRP
uVoucher code: UTP-CTAG-POYV-B4SE-2NDM-HZK3

uVoucher amount: 1 UUSD
uVoucher code: USD-YSL7-CKZV-NHI2-36OD-BUR2

First come, first serve.  Wink

That may be not too much, but I hope you like it.

Other than the interface I don't have that many issues on the platform. I also enjoyed the chatting on their lobby with different people discussing about cryptocurrencies and also some economical topics. There're also games to prevent people from getting bored though as of now they only have 2 which is chess and poker, so I hope they'll add more sooner coz I'd want to try.

I almost forgot that they also have a browser in which you'll be redirected to a different tab, and it is very convenient coz it has multi-functioned service without leaving the platform.

All in all, I liked this platform and would opt to use this, and I also know for sure that they will add new features to attract more people. I'm quite hyped about what will be the next feature, coz even now they're already this good, how much more in the future? I'd be expecting different currencies next time along with some betting games like slots, or maybe roulettes or cards. I was glad to be an early adapter on this platform coz it has so much more to offer than this alone and I'm sure sooner or later the lobbies will be packed with people, though right now there's only few (thank goodness I was one of those few). It'll be a matter of time before this will become a trend. That's all I have to say for now, I'm still using it even as of the moment and I'd get back here if ever I find something new, or I'd see something that needs improvements.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 13, 2023, 07:56:50 AM
Many people say that sometimes we don't need important education to achieve success and vice versa we have to be educated to have a greater chance of success. And I think that goes back to the person's personality where he can seriously understand or not from what life conveys in a real way. directly and what can be obtained from being educated.
Indeed, if we want to learn something, we don't have to be highly educated to gain knowledge because learning can be done anywhere without having to be related to an educational institution, and that is a fact that many people have already done it.
why do some people also think that education is important because most companies and/or those who need good workers in government agencies always standardize education and judge from a piece of paper on a diploma so that many people say education is important because it is oriented towards position and salary.
But precisely today, people have opened their eyes about the level of education as standardization has begun to change because so many people who have standardized education can easily get it without passing it and/or are not serious about their education but get the diploma. Now business owners prioritize people who have the ability because that is something that promises a potential for success compared to a piece of paper that can be manipulated.
Since then, whenever you want to gain experience, you need to go outside of the learning facilities and earn it. It's also true that if you want knowledge of a certain major, you'll need to go to school and earn that degree.
One thing I disagree about education system specially here in my country is that there are so many unnecessary subjects that you'll also need to attend adding an additional payment with the tuition fees but ended up being unethical after you graduate. Yes, we do get it that there's also a possibility that you'll be needing it on a certain scenario but commonly it doesn't really help the students.
Imagine wanting to learn and study a certain course and there's a lot of irrelevant subjects unrelated to that degree? The sad part is that here in our country only a few universities offer a free tuition package and if you want to pursue higher forms of education, you must be prepare for the corresponding expenses.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: March 13, 2023, 04:05:48 AM
Money seems to be very fun if we can manage well, but the thing that happens a lot is that people spend too easily and use it for wasteful and ineffective things, if the bad habits are not changed then we can be sure that we will suffer, not forever We can get money easily and when the money is in hand then use it for productive things such as investment or storing gold whose value will continue to increase.
Changing bad habits to be good is not an easy thing for everyone, moreover these bad habits have made everyone more comfortable to do every day. But you also need to know more other reasons why some people are still doing this now, because I think everyone is sure to spend their money where they need it even though you see they are not wise in managing their finances.

Even though everyone who has managed their finances wisely also does not tell other people in their life. So don't judge too quickly on this because you still need a more in-depth analysis so you can find out more reasons for everyone in terms of spending money.
In fact changing any habit whether is good or bad is incredibly difficult, it is because of this we have to do our utmost effort to have as many good habits and as little bad habits as possible as well, so developing the habit of saving since childhood is important because in that way the child will grow and still have that habit when they grow up and make a significant difference on their life, as in this way they can begin to invest earlier and make way more money than those that did not develop the habit of saving during their childhood.

If you have the will no matter how difficult it is, it can be done.  The reason why changing habits is difficult is because we are used to do things and wanted an abrupt change.  I think that is a wrong approach in fixing our bad habits especially in spending money.  We can do it slowly until we get used to our new way of spending.

I do agree that learning the habit of saving during our early years is important because it can become our core attribute and will carry it when we are getting old.  but the thing is most of us save because we are planning to buy something that we cannot afford to buy in one go with our earnings.  Most kids are thought this kind of saving fact won't impact improving their life at all because the savings are intended to be spent on things they liked.  Instead, we should teach kids in saving not only for the things they wanted but also for the future emergencies.
Same thing as rehabilitation, and there is also this thing called withdrawal for those who're involved in abusive drugs. We've all been on a situation wherein there're so many temptations that if only we had the money, we will surely buy those things. Let's all admit it that we all want money because of something, either it's for our needs or for savings and investment. We are all here trying to survive and to sustain our daily lives.

It reminded me of the thread I read the other day about "the cost of living is already killing" or something similar to that, and yes, it's true for most of the countries surviving at the same time earning is like a living in the jungle. People from the high-class family may not notice this but mostly from the lower-class incomes to middle class, they can literally feel those burdens. This is mostly true to countries with high inflation rates and those low average income countries.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a store value in comparison to traditional assets on: March 13, 2023, 03:12:35 AM
seems instead of someone just reading the topic and discussing the topic.. we have the plagiarism army trying to argue if posts should even be made

for those that are the plagiarism army. your time would be more fruitful trying to spot scam adverts for software that steals value/funds from people

find the people trying to get others to buy high, sell low
find the people trying to get others to hand them value but not give it back
(real loss of property/value)

oh and by the way chat AI is not going to sue anyone for using its text no value is lost no damages occur for someone discussing a topic. even if its not their idea.

the only damage is when what they discuss incurs someone following advice that causes losses.
so find the comments that can cause losses

I appreciate the thought and thanks for explaining it further too. That means someone got the point. There're even social media enthusiasts that are using AI to write them advertisement scripts. This tool is intended for that purpose anyway.

Regarding what you've said above "buy low, sell high", I was thinking the same thing after finding that out way too late. Buying the dip doesn't actually sit's right to me since you cannot hit the timing even if you have the fastest internet speed in this world. I have also participated on those trading signals way back 2016, and mostly although we gained by that, some of our fellow followers lose a certain amount. After that, I realized that it's much better to just protect my wealth by buying and holding, coz if I looked back and compared the prices now, I regretted a little bit of not sparing a single bag just to have some holdings.

[~snipped~]

I just copied the title of Op and run it with chatGPT and if you check the result you'll see that they're same content with different wordings. Which means your AI posts detector was accurate.

Grin Grin Grin But isn't that what that technology is meant to do, write articles and other stuff for people Huh We know now that using AI app for write-ups like this might be the go-to option for many people and this might make the newer Gen lazier to do the needful.

Coming back to OP topic, I also agree with;
in my opinion there is no need to compare between traditional assets and bitcoin.
because bitcoin is a digital currency, while fiat money and gold are traditional assets that cannot be abandoned.
because I personally also like to invest in gold and it has proven to be safe even though the price increase is not too high.
but I also continue to collect bitcoins every time there is a decrease in price and I will also save it as a future asset.
so the two assets should not be compared because both have benefits.

Talking about store of Value, a traditional asset like Gold is also a good "Store of Value" since the price rarely fluctuates as Bitcoin does in a shorter time frame especially in market trends like now however Bitcoin is also that (Store of Value)  in a longer time frame and even more of a Value generation when holding it for a long time too.

Indeed! I had also checked my posts by AI checker before posting it here, though I knew that it would seem lazier, I was also risking my account knowing that it'll be checked just to see if there'd be changes in people's opinion knowing that more and more younger people are becoming aware of the technology offered by AI.

Another thing is that, once we mention AI, it is already indirectly related to crypto and I just wanted to know what the AI thinks about crypto alongside your opinions. We know that this topic has been asked so many times in the past and it's enough to say that we are already bored reading and answering it, but as what the AI is telling, is it already safe to say or consider that Bitcoin is already on par with traditional assets as a "Store Value"?

As most of you guys are saying that it'll be a store value in longer time frame, is it convincing for newer investors to add this on their list as their go to investment plans?

390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin as a store value in comparison to traditional assets on: March 10, 2023, 10:59:10 AM
First and foremost, it's crucial to comprehend what makes an asset a reliable store of value. An asset that retains its purchasing power over time and is resistant to depreciation due to inflation is said to be a store of value. A good store of value is also frequently employed as a hedge against economic and geopolitical risks because it is widely seen as a safe haven asset.

There are a number of things to take into account when evaluating Bitcoin's potential as a store of value. First off, there is a limited supply of Bitcoin; 21 million coins are anticipated to be in circulation. As a result, it is resistant to inflationary pressures because a central authority cannot arbitrarily raise the supply.

In addition, Bitcoin is decentralized and runs without the aid of any centralized organization or state. This grants it a level of freedom and autonomy not found in traditional assets, which are governed by the laws and rules of financial institutions and governments.

The mobility and ease of transfer of Bitcoin are important factors in its potential as a store of value. Bitcoin is a practical asset for both individuals and institutions since it can be transferred easily across borders and stored in a variety of digital wallets.

But, it's crucial to keep in mind that Bitcoin is still a young and unstable asset, and that its value can change a lot quickly. This makes it a riskier investment than older, more reliable ones like gold, which has a long history of serving as a haven asset.

Furthermore, compared to conventional assets like gold and fiat currency, which are widely recognized and accepted as stores of value, Bitcoin's adoption and acceptance as a store of value is still limited.

In conclusion, it is crucial to remember that Bitcoin is still a relatively new and volatile asset, while having many potential benefits as a store of wealth, including its limited quantity, decentralization, and mobility. The need of carefully assessing one's risk tolerance and diversifying one's investments across a variety of assets, including both traditional and digital assets, cannot be overstated.
391  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: March 10, 2023, 03:56:51 AM
Ah I thought same sila ng features ng binance kasi nag hold ako for a long time then naka cashout ako ng malaki that's what I meant sa paldo. Thanks for correcting, mag reresearch pa ko about dito since ngayon ko lang narinig tong Gcrypto.

Since nasa app itself yung GCrypto, sobrang convenient na mag pasok ng pera dito and mag HODL ka for long-term.

Though narinig ko nga na mataas ang transaction fees dito, use this app as a secondary source for HODLing BTC and not your main platform when it comes to trading/investing.

392  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 09, 2023, 12:08:34 PM
Yes, both are closely related, without money, you cannot access quality educational resources, and vice versa if you are fully educated, you will have more opportunities to make money than many uneducated people. High education also does not guarantee our future to become rich, but if possible, do not ignore it because it will help you a lot later. If it doesn't help at work, it will help you in everyday life, from communicating to educating our children later.

Today's society has developed, it has become much more difficult than in our parents' days, and the competition is fierce. Education also does not guarantee a future, so without education, there is never a chance.
In fact, there is a chance to get an education if you can enroll in a budget form of education, but it is not so easy when it comes to really prestigious educational institutions. Therefore, it will be available to a very small number of people. Education may allow you to get a specialty that will eventually help you get a high-paying position, such as a doctor or a lawyer, since such areas without education will not be available.
Exactly as you say. If both can be achievable and it is within your capability, then you can grab both. As of now, money or education offers options for you to choose from. Since both also doesn't guarantee a better or successful future, you can't choose between the two, but instead choose both.

What's important right now in our society isn't something so complicated but the word "option". I have seen so many of my former batchmates and even those who are older than me who attained good education still telling me that somehow, they regret not being able to build themselves but instead build their career, coz in the end what they have left is degree but not the freedom to choose what they like and where they like to be. I am also somewhat against the idea of telling kids to study hard coz it'll bring you good future, but as always even with good educational background it is still so hard to land a job. As you've said that the competition is fierce, it reminds me of what our ancestors did back then, and it will always be the same. All of us are just gathering resources in order to survive, and the improvements of our lives due to technology or evolution only gives us more chances to find more options just in case we hit a certain wall.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: March 09, 2023, 07:59:04 AM
People have realized that Social Media has a power more than how it used to be in those days when people just come online to chat and connect, influencers are now easy to build online by impacting people socially and also sell things for the fans and most importantly, advertise to people but there is one thing I hate how Social Media are been used to promote sells, people that use social media to sell stuffs sometimes lie and hype a product just to get their shares which is not suppose to be so, there are others who the right thing but the bad ones are more.
Not going to argue with that. Sad to say but most of those advertisements or even those influencers are sometimes promoting hype while some are scamming people through invitations just liked how crypto was viewed before as a ponzi. Social medias nowadays are composed of various age groups from different parts of the globe, while we could say that some are just having fun and doing their own thing, we couldn't deny the fact that information spreads quickly through that and one reason that there are several victims of those frauds, coz whether we like it or not there're still people that are not much educated when it comes to those schemes.

Nice idea. I am curious to see yours...
Did you have a track record of your bets?
It would be interesting see your expertise and what kind of bets are you playing usually.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234109.0 this One is the topic I have managed for several years posting some of my bets. Take a look maybe you will find some hints also for your Wink

I'll also gotta put it on my watchlist. Before, I wasn't really interested in sportsbetting. This will help me for sure or become a guide for me since lately I've become interested on betting on sports, coz usually I only like betting on teams/sports that I'm familiar with (mostly basketball teams and e-sports).

Thanks for this one. I won't decline the generous offer you guys gave for free. Besides it came from non-other than people who have countless years of experience on sportsbetting. I know there're people who will say that those number of years don't matter or not that much, please understand that I'm a newbie on this area.
395  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcointalk, we have a new member of the forum administration on: March 09, 2023, 05:34:36 AM
So the team member who was trying to threatening everyone us that they will have to face consequences for calling him scammer have already tasted his own medicine by getting banned.Giving him signature ban was good but complete ban to such scammers who impersonate themselves as admin members is best. They try these cheap tricks Just to fool any newbie whom they might contact through PM or they message them so playing these cards but how they don't think they can get caught I don't know. But appreciate your efforts @Ratimov for exposing these scammers here.

And here I am having a hard time earning merits and trying to make my posts as good quality as possible. Cry I was just wondering how these kinds of people had such high merits and some scammers even have trusts on their accounts while people like me who are just doing things within the rules are sometimes having a hard time joining campaigns due to high requirements.
As already pointed out by @Ratimov he has not earned any merit but have his rank from the airdropped merits when the system was implemented but you can gain more knowledge and write quality stuff to gain merits like you have received 5 merits and have sent 23 merits and scammers here are exposed who gain nothing in the end as you have seen.
I sincerely regretted what I did way back coz to be honest I didn't know what to do on my merit back then that's why I used it the way I used it just like what you have said. I failed to understand the meaning of merit system back then, I thought it would just refresh whenever it reaches a certain amount of time. It's really an honest mistake on my part, I should've been careful on my smerits coz now I don't even have one and there're lots of posts I read that deserves to be merited. Well lesson learned for me Cheesy.

This time somehow, I'll take note all this advises you gave me and some of the fellow member's opinion here. Thank you very much I really appreciate the kindness.

Quote
he wants his social media platform to offer powerful finance system that is more superior than PayPal.
How will the platform be better than PayPal unless it provides any financial services based on the blockchain? In terms of data management and customer base, PayPal will definitely excel.
Since when were Elon Musk's statements serious? He changes his statements over and over and many of them can be contradictory or incomprehensible.
the way he dealt with some employees in the recent period may raise many doubts about the speed of developing the platform.

Due to his inconsistent behavior and doing things on a whim, we are left here thinking what crazy things he will do next. As previously, he was the one hyping about cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Doge, and SHIB.

That's the reason why I added that quote above. His inconsistency and tendency to do things out of the whim leaves people speechless. Him being an entrepreneur and at the same time an inventor is already "incomprehensible" if I borrow your words, it's because he loves to play and try new things. There is also no clarity on which direction he will lead the platform. It's as if he's telling that, if you blindly believe on me or you're willing to play and gamble then for sure we reap the benefits.

As they said there is fine line between confidence and arrogance. We don't know which of the 2 he belongs, or maybe both. Still there is "uncertainty", and although how he dealt with the past employees was kind of unfair, we couldn't deny that what he did also lead to the decline on the platform's image. Who knows maybe it's a kind of redemption or marketing strategy he was planning or maybe just a plain old hyping.

399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you feel when your government make BTC legal? on: March 09, 2023, 12:43:44 AM
First and foremost, Bitcoin is not illegal in most of the countries. Second, although crypto is not encourage for most of the countries as modes of payment due to it's high risk and volatility, it is also not officially banned by most of the countries.

Personally, it's nothing much to me even if the government declares crypto as a legal tender or recognized and be accepted as currency. It's because, if I were in the position to acquire and afford crypto as payment, I would rather keep it due to it's volatility. That aside, if it happens to be legalized, I would be happy to know that if ever something comes up that requires crypto, I would have another option to choose.
400  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: March 08, 2023, 04:21:44 PM
~

I totally agree that a good name and branding can make a difference in the success of a casino or any service provider. I mean, it's pretty obvious, right? A well-crafted brand can build trust with customers, and having a premium domain name can make a business stand out from the crowd and even give it a sense of credibility.

But let's not forget that having a good brand and domain name isn't the only thing that matters. To be truly successful, a business also needs to have a great product or service, top-notch customer service, fair pricing, and a solid marketing strategy, among other things.

I think customer service is the thing where you can really stand out, because it is so hard these days to invent something new regarding gambling, something that gamblers have never seen before, and, at the same time, something that they will like. Responsive, polite and knowledgeable Support team can impress gamblers, and they will not only stay on the platform themselves, they will bring in others.

True. Word of mouth spreads quickly when it comes to better services. There're lots of gambling sites already and all of them  offers the same, it only depends on what bonuses they give and some perks alongside different marketing strategy, but most them have a common problem which is customer support. I have been watching the sidelines on those gambling sites and sometimes do gambling or bet whenever I feel betting, and most common things I encounter is because of lack of customer service.
