381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: April 10, 2020, 02:50:30 AM
it is not entirely coronavirus but in my opinion coronavirus also has an influence on the fall of bitcoin, even though it's only 2-5%. The global crisis is due to lockdown, everyone needs money to survive or pay hospital fees for those who have a family affected by co-19 and sell at any price
Ofcourse it is not alone the reason for all this mess. I mean on cryptocurrency market since many factor has been raised during that time. There was bitmex issue, mining plus tokens, and also corona virus. Covid19 really hit all economics with such surprise. I am not sure when will be the recovery time but in my opinion it will take a long time before we can sort out the market stability. Halving will arrive soon but with the market current situation, I am not expecting a big change.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible Effects of Coronavirus on the Crypto Industry on: April 10, 2020, 02:16:34 AM

Among other things, the movement to regulate cryptocurrencies is now stronger than ever. With India and Korea taking important measures to not only legalize but encourage crypto trading, it is only a matter of time when we see more countries joining the crypto innovation.
This is what Ive noticed. Since the virus destroy a lot of countries economies, there are country that step up to use it for their finance sector. Check out Italy allowing the usage of bank to trade bitcoin. Now every country seeing the potential of crypto as one of the best way to process money and finances due to its cashless system. Yeah that's what been happening right now. Each country stepping up to proceed and do what they need to do to fight this.

But these market crashes are inevitable. So what we can really do is wait for it to recover. Im glad that crypto hasnt affected at all or not worse compared to stock market.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION LEVERAGING ON BLOCKCHAIN FOR COVID 19? on: April 09, 2020, 02:55:15 PM
It depends on some people's perspective. WHO is helping out a lot of countries and it wouldnt hurt if they will seek for help on bkockchain or fintech companies for support or even donation. See how Binance taking advantage of the scenario but I am not saying they are just doing it for promotions.

People from crypto community knows the boundary or limits of information OP so if they gonna lure us into their palm just to be bitten then its not gonna work.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 09, 2020, 02:16:56 PM
Global recession will make the Cryptocurrency market stronger and gain massively over the stock market, this is because the market is not owned or controlled  by the government and its legitimization,

I think you are barking on the wrong reason here. Global recession as explained by many makes all market dive hard. Yeah maybe some will realize that crypto can be a good hedge fund alternative for investment but the probability it would also experience a tragedy that is happening on stock is also huge. Controlled or not by government, still people buying and selling crypto has been affected by the virus and you know cash is badly needed nowadays so there still a chance of huge downfall on crypto market.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of Gambling Investments and Discussion. on: April 09, 2020, 02:04:19 PM
I like the compilation of discussions. For a beginner on gsmbling they could get some tips and idea on how to start and make their journey on online gambling. Much better OP if you could clean up a bit the ni text body of the paragraph like, segregate with a line or space so every discussion can be seen neat. Though only a suggestion but this is a nice effort here in this section. Add some discussion that might valuable in the future. Investment wise gambling isnt that much a good choice but for the sake of entertainment with money involve this is a good mark for those who are lookin for one.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLUS Token Scam Dumps Another 13,000 BTC - Another reason for the BTC drop? on: April 09, 2020, 01:34:22 PM
I think this had a pretty big impact on the price, but by far the worst part was from the virus.

How can you be sure that it occurred a huge impact? From what Ive heard the most one that got impact during the one day crash is the controversial bitmex funds that rekt mostly of all traders due to liquidation. Thought this news is rather shocking that those huge btc coin falls on the hands of a ponzi project. I remember how bitconnect fools so many investors by acting as a legit project but proven to be a scumbag one. Tsk people never did learn about this kind of scams.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 09, 2020, 01:25:18 PM
They have a bounty as far as I know and the reward isnt that high but at least its legit and you can sell off your reward. I am not sure if they giving their token reward weekly cause they have signature campaign as well and the higher the rank the higher the payment. I know some could get 700 tokens a week and if thats its current and still the price up to now then its almost $10 not bad for a free money. But if you compared it to other altcoins before this is very low.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Overview new altcoins calendar or website on: April 09, 2020, 12:56:42 PM
So i was wondering, is there a website or calendar somewhere that shows when a new altcoin will be launched and available for mining?
The thread we have here on bitcointalk is showing so much coins that are already launched.
On Mining section you can always check what will be new coin to launch. Also there are some projects being mentioned on altcoin announcement. It is quite rare to see new coins being launch especially those are that related on Mining. Most projects now are shifting into staking. Why not try this OP, its now the new trend, aside from no expensive elecritcity consumption you only need the token or coin for holding. Then you can gain with certain period of time.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens do you like to stake/hold for profits? on: April 08, 2020, 02:45:10 PM
I only believe in investment in btc, simply because i think almost the great majority of other cryptocurrencies are either scam or useless tokens without a real need, so they all have no future and investment in them is so risky.

Then you are posting on a wrong section. As you can see this one is fkr alternate speculation, obviously what should be discussing here is about altcoin. OP's question typically about these altcoins. Of course we all knew how btc is a good for hold because of its famous or what but in terms of staking or let say reward for holding btc wouldnt have that since it utilized POW.

For me, I guess cosmos is one of the good project that has benefited staking. Many 3rd party app and even exchanges supported it. The price is pretty good entry also for now.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to trade the usdt market on: April 08, 2020, 02:36:09 PM
Like everybody suggestion. Why force to withdraw on USDT if this gonna cost you a lot. $10 is a huge money, for me and I will find a way to have a very minimum fee for my trading cause this isnt worth it especially if your gonna withdraw only few bucks on your bank account or any remittance. If I were you, I will use coins such as xlm, doge or xrp for withdrawal cause these are the ones that have a very small fees. Bitcoin and ethereum are both convenienr but as time pass by their fees going up especially on most centralized exchanges.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for games to earn/win free cryptocurrency on: April 08, 2020, 02:22:41 PM
I was addicted because the game was like agar(.)Io and was very fun to play. You can visit the website here https://play.agareum.com/. Agareum has also been released a long time ago, if I remember their first gamedrop in August.
This game doesnt have market yet. Yes they have crypto but only can received through in game wallet only. The last time Ive check they say this year they will process the withdrawal of tokens but still not yet. Ive played it too but bored since its just a repetitive game. Their crypto token would be useless if those cant be sell on an exchange.

OP, I think some dApps are rarely produce token rewards but some in game items can be exchange for cryptocurrency such as eth.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Addresses With 1 BTC Are On The Rise, As Bitcoin Exits Exchanges on: April 08, 2020, 02:14:37 PM
I mean they shouldn't keep them there at first place, unless for trading purposes but now maybe they are losing interest in trading or confidence in exchanges because of all this situation and potential heavy economy crisis that will definetely affect everyone in upcoming months.
Probably but you know, most whales tend to hang their btc there for a while as confirm sometime with news. The fact that most are withdrawing their btc on the exchange is good news right? Means they gonna hold on their respective wallets those btc coins. We can assume that they arr probably needed funds too or gonna exchange it on a 3rd party app or establishments that accept bitcoin. Remember we are still on crisis.
393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before investing in bitcoin, What should I think about? on: April 08, 2020, 01:16:22 PM
These list are common and typical question prior to invesment into bitcoin but to tell you. The answers on these are depend on the person status, ability, and dependability. Of course a guy without bigger salary or income couldnt possibly invest on it without any worries. Why, he has some expenditure and expenses to think about. But a wise person, always expand his mind to wide range of possibilities. I know some, who dont have huge investment budget but were able to earn or have a good profits on bitcoin. But then again, it goes back to the answer how you as a person will handle such questions.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 08, 2020, 01:03:49 PM
It should be like that because seeing that there are many campaigns that do not pay participants, and also campaigns like this should be handled by experienced managers.

How I wish all the campaigns on the altcoin section used escrow. But this isnt the case. Lucky those participants who were able to joine escrow tokens. Ive seen campaign such as Guide and GeomaDao which are both handled by Julerz12.

But not all ICO/IEO phase project where gonna agree to this, especially if they dont have funds yet. I can see the reasons why some are dont like this method. These are funds that will be given to escrow still at risk. Also, there are chances that the token escrowed will be valueless in the end so its gonna be useless after all if they dont pursue the project.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment for Exploit. on: April 06, 2020, 01:05:23 PM
This news makes me kinda glad that the healthcare system in my country isn't entirely "digital" and still relies mostly on paperwork and the good old-fashioned bureaucracy. Undecided

It does show the vulnerability of bitcoin. Its good that even on medical facility it is utlized but people tends to ruin its reputation by inserting some scamming activity. I think bitcoin adoption is great but we must have a regulation on its application. You dont want to be on the same boat with OP's story.

Personal data is important, exploitation has been so common now these days. If you were that guy who will pay over 40btc? I think he must be rich to pay for the data breached on him. The point is, always be careful on dealing your file online.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Restoring crypto back to normal is possible on: April 06, 2020, 12:29:11 PM
Binance is centralized, I get it but what if binance do something very astonishing to coinmarketcap? For example like cleaning off bad projects from coinmarketcap and deal with fake volume exchanges by giving them their rightful rating

I think thats their plan. Binance will likely improve the current features of coinmarketcap. If they bought it without any changes made then its useless. But I know they will make it more great since we all knew how Binance improved other projects that they acquired. Check how trust wallet becomes one of the good multiwallet for crypto, they making the whole community of crypto adoptive. In any case, Binance will be the one to lead the market in the future but still they need more than that to accomplish it.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CitiOS (R2R) gone for good? on: April 06, 2020, 11:55:35 AM
As far as I know this project bounty handled by arteezy right? Maybe you can ask him if whats the real score about payment. Thats too bad to know that they will suddenly gone in spite of lots of exchanges they are listed. But to be honest, these exchanges are unfamiliar and probably not user friendly.

I am seeing it is hardly shill on social media by many users then their volume is down? Probably they will just left it once no hype created upon their hard promotions. Clearly a sign of S***
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty group is dead on: April 05, 2020, 06:18:50 AM
That's because the bounty is currently in a dry period, looking for a good bounty is like finding a needle in a haystack. all of these bounty channels have helped a lot in 2017 or in the future. and this is not about mistrust, and again the problem is that the bounty is less worth it now.

Thats for a fact that ICO related projects has deeply affected. Maybe more investors are becoming wise now. How many new projects rely on bounty? A lot right? But how many of them are the real ones and not just a fake one used to scam investors? These questions arises, and resulted to a more complicated case.

Ive been joining bounty and also joined on these channels but silently they go down and its inevitably will happened if there are no clients that will offer.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: April fools! Buy Toilet Paper Token! on: April 05, 2020, 05:51:59 AM
This is the best April fool I have ever experienced.
So many wallets and exchanges wanted to list it and started making promotions of their affiliation with it.
It took me till April 3rd before I knew it was really an April fool Cheesy..
Coinmarketcap needs to really be appauled!
What worse is, an exchange start creating a token that actually refers to the toilet paper token, which sucks. Yobit a known exchange has been trading this token now. Ive also seen some post on social media and email alert about an airdrop. Holy moly why such hype created by CMC during April Fools has been using by scammers to attract users.

Good luck to those who will trade and even join giveaway for a shitcoin like this. Trust me you wouldnt benefit anything but only made you head ached.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first BTC ATM in Nigeria on: April 05, 2020, 04:00:38 AM
but I'm still curious about what will happen in Nigeria if BTC ATMs are circulating a lot there, are they increasingly helped or vice versa because of what I know they are still behind in education and technology compared to countries in Asia and Europe.
There is a saying that Dont judge a book by its cover the fact that they launch an bitcoin blockchain ATM means they improving, and if you will compare them to a lot country Im sure they are way more advancing. Technology is evolving and countrys are growing and fast track development and innovation.

I think their government are doing their utmost effort to caught up with the world. African regions showing their interest on blockchain and this is a good news already. One at a time can be good step.
