3801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction 2020 - 2021 on: August 21, 2020, 11:49:36 AM
I'll be giving my analysis updates early next year, because I'll have to look at some time to see later in the year, but I will provide updates to all the communities here, thanks for participating in the poll

can't wait  Grin

I also like to be optimistic but it's preferable to be realistic, so you will not have a big expectation on what's happening in the market, so you will not expect big profit but profit that is realistic, I love Bitcoin to reach $100 k but 2020 is not the year that it will reach to that level we can hope in the future but not now.

yeah i know  Cheesy my mind is crazy, but things we should know is buy and Hold the bicoin till reach new ATH next year

3806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Warren Buffett will change his mind about bitcoin? on: August 20, 2020, 07:56:42 AM
1. Warren Buffett doesn't invest in things he doesn't understand
2. Warren Buffett invests in businesses, not in non-productive assets(e.g. gold, bitcoin, silver, etc)
3. Warren Buffett invested in a gold mining business that generates cash flow, not in gold specifically
4. Max Kaiser is a nutjob, and is making such tweets just for Twitter publicity
5. Stop fantasizing about Warren Buffett buying bitcoin because Bitcoin's success doesn't depend on Warren Buffett buying it

Grin the number 5 is gonna really hit the market  Grin

3811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 19, 2020, 02:41:43 AM
The coronavirus hit the global economy hard and this dire state of the economy has forced people to look for alternatives like using crypto currencies. Some people loss their job that's why they are selling online and using bitcoin for payment and investment. Also, in fear of transmitting covid-19 they prefer to pay online and looking for a cashless payment. This pandemic can accelerate the worldwide transition to digital payments while serving as a catalyst for the modernization of the financial industry.

this really happen to me right now i loss my job, my workplace bankrupt, damnnnn this covid really hit the market so hardd  Cry Cry Cry

but the importance of bitcoin during the pandemic itself beside of payment we can earn some penny and work as bounty hunter to cover everyday need  Smiley

and i just hope the pandemic will come to end

3813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remembering the earily days of mining... on: August 19, 2020, 02:32:35 AM
I have seen mining places where hosting service is available. Mining truly generates heat, but with the technology growth these days the heat is been much reduced. Nowadays most of the mining farms were located on cool regions or else cooling systems were added to reduce the heat. Truly the heat beyond certain point causes damage to the brain.

and cheap electricty  Grin

but speak of bitcoin mining this will blow your mind and i hear about bitcoin just hit new ATH of Hashrate

Currently, the tool estimates that Bitcoin is using around seven gigawatts of electricity, equal to 0.21% of the world's supply. That is as much power as would be generated by seven Dungeness nuclear power plants at once. Over the course of a year, this equates to roughly the same power consumption as Switzerland.Jul 3, 2019 - BBC https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-48853230#:~:text=Currently%2C%20the%20tool%20estimates%20that,same%20power%20consumption%20as%20Switzerland.

i think we really need new Consensus about how bicoin been mined

Bitcoin opened many things to me especially when it comes to the investment.
If I don't know Bitcoin and crypto, I maybe don't know anything related to investment. Bitcoin helped me know more about investment in some ways.
Totally, is open my mind about investment not just in crypto industry but in real word investment too  Cool

3816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news on: August 18, 2020, 02:33:11 PM
i still remember when Hashrate is around 1 ExaHash couple year ago. but in my thought maybe some people want make profit in this early bitcoin boom. and if u remember there's lot of people join mining not just bitcoin when bitcoin boom at 2017. so i agreed with this guy opinion

Hash rate is a good indicator of the Bitcoin network's health. A high hash rate, when compared to a lower one, is preferable as it effectively means the network is more secure so it is either a good or bad news for everyone. But despite of that , it is not the only factor that we consider on investing in bitcoin. Bitcoins value is not just based on the hash rate indicator and prediction.
3817  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: August 18, 2020, 01:55:51 PM
~SNIP~
I share your concern regarding the safety of personal data.Lately, I have observed a very interesting situation when new projects in which I participated as a Bounty Hunter, to date show very good results, but at the same time no one asked me to provide my passport data and Cartesi can be cited as an example. And if you remember such projects as BCNEX, DOGEX, then in this case you had to provide KYC and at the same time these projects probably died and no one will be sure that his passport data is safe and sound.

yeah people like us bounty hunter for living its kinda dangerous right, when the project like you mention before died, and if you know not just the coin but there's some new exchange popped off right now and ask you before u trade and if u remember there some exchange even the bigger too got hacked that what i consider
3818  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: August 18, 2020, 01:18:17 PM

3819  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2020, 01:12:31 PM
One think comes to my mind is Bitcoin is unstoppable and government just scared because so many transcation point to the illegal things such a drug dealer and dark web things and based this
there's some transaction about funding terrorism. in my country it self there's some rule about it like its prohibited use bitcoin for buying anything. so u can still use bitcoin but u can't spend it. maybe some country will implemented this rather ban it.
