3801  Economy / Services / Re: [115%] PPS "Project #2" Don't pay a pool to mine get paid to hash! on: January 31, 2012, 08:18:36 PM
GPUMAX has taken away some of my large miners off and on and I need stable rates to fill contracts or the penalty sucks.
free market ftw :p
3802  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 31, 2012, 08:16:28 PM
Update:

We're no longer allowing purchases made that are pointed to a bithopper service.  If you have a current purchase pointed to a bithopper server it has been suspended.  Please change your pool to a real pool and we will enable it.

Once it is enabled again if you move it back to a bithopper server it will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund.

Thanks,
what's with all these restrictions? you can easily bypass them by making a proxy.
3803  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 31, 2012, 03:25:33 PM
I'm getting a higher than typical amount of rejects and frequent (almost one every minute) pool communication failures, though it is able to reconnect the second after. Plus, the website takes almost a minute to load and the connection to it just timed out as well. Maybe it's just my location (China).  Undecided

EDIT: Now that I examine it, it's actually closer to a communication failure every 10 seconds, and so many of my shares are being discarded by cgminer for being stale  Embarrassed
what's your stale rate?
3804  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB: Battlefield 3 (BF3) Origin key on: January 31, 2012, 02:07:29 PM
Well, I'd prefer the disk as well, but I could be convinced otherwise.

Let me know how much you want for it.

The key should be included when you register it on Origin.  I assume you have the key from the CD case?
he probably registered it on origin, so it's tied to his account. you can change the account name at anytime, though.
3805  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [115%] I want your hashing power! "Project #2" 115% PPS! on: January 31, 2012, 02:02:01 PM
thank you very much for the 115% payout bump!
3806  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 31, 2012, 02:01:24 PM
Is anyone getting any public work? i set my payout to 0.00004 but still nothing Sad
Hey, the website is really lagging for me, anything wrong?

3807  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 31, 2012, 02:43:28 AM
Another round of payouts today? Smiley

3808  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 30, 2012, 07:05:13 PM
suggestions:
  • add payout history to transactions
  • navigating to dashboard via my account - dashboard is broken
  • worker's current hash rate isn't averaged
  • after you click "go private", clicking on it again doesn't make your worker go public. (if you click on the cloud icon again, it will go public)
3809  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 30, 2012, 02:18:33 PM
I'm getting paid 0.00005 BTC for each share Cheesy

Idiot. If you had even .00005% understanding of economics you would understand why posting that was bad. Thanks for screwing up a good thing.
FFFFFFUUUUUU

now i'm not getting any public work Embarrassed
3810  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 30, 2012, 03:09:03 AM

3812  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 29, 2012, 10:13:58 PM
i just realized i can make a lot of money by sub-leasing my hashing power to other users. if i get paid 140%, i can offer miners 125%, allowing me to pocket 15% difference.

i suspect there's already people doing this. *cough* goat, clipse *cough*
3813  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Is there an easy to use miner? on: January 29, 2012, 09:51:29 PM
So i dont know anything about mining except the basics since i am using bitcoins for almost a year now.

My question is if there is a simple miner for windows and/or linux that you can simply run, put the info of your pool and mine. I dont care about giving me the 100% of my gpu. i just want lets say to mine 0.1 BTC. just for fun.

btw i have a ati gt525m video card

gt525m?
hahahha. don't bother. it will take forever (2+ weeks, 24/7) to mine 0.1 btc. might as well buy some.
3814  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Best router / router firmware to use with cgminer on: January 29, 2012, 09:38:10 PM
dd-wrt is also very good firmware for compatible routers.. makes a $50 router giving a lot of bang for the buck Smiley
dd-wrt is mostly bloat. tomato is leaner Grin
I run WRT54GL's with DD-WRT firmware, I have about 8 across my house, from router modes to wifi extenders and even vpn client/server. Works wonders and very cheap, you can also overclock their cpus  Cheesy

Funny you should mention that. I just ordered this one off of amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BTL0OA/

Gotta love their prime program!
make sure it's the "linux" version. otherwise, you're getting a neutered version with a shitty cpu + low ram.
3815  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 5 Gold Coin Proof Set from Germany $798 -- Price Lowered on: January 29, 2012, 08:40:40 PM
Bump, Price lowered to $798 - Bargain Investment at this price!

Gold is soon going to be trading at $5000/oz.

Improved x64 SCRYPT implementation, run bitcoin-miner-64.exe
thanks, works much better now. 0.0155 MHASH vs ~10 khash (0.01 MHASH) with minerd
3817  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] MSI Big Bang-Marshal (B3) w/ Intel Core i7 2600k on: January 29, 2012, 05:36:31 PM

3819  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: January 29, 2012, 05:23:49 PM
Wish I had more than 3ghash to throw at the site, the pay rate here is pretty rad  Grin
how much do you get paid per share?

You set your own price.
what do you set your price to?
3820  Economy / Goods / Re: Microsoft Windows XP Pro & Home: Real OEM Software with COA and Disc on: January 29, 2012, 05:01:30 PM
I would prefer not to give out my Ebay ID. I am not trying to prove a point here I am simply trying to sell software for a very reasonable price. I could upload some screenshots of my feedback or something if that would make people feel better. I am being honest about what I am selling, if you need windows for a great price then this is a good option if you do not feel comfortable using a dell disc to install the software that is fine. OK so linked is a screenshot of some of my feedback, I blocked out my buyers names. I choose this page because it shows some feedback and it talks about xp and the number of transactions and seller ratings. And by the way if you have a legitimate question or concern I will be happy to answer it. If you have no intention of buying please move on. I really have no interest in proving what I already know.

by that logic, i'm the president of the US. Cool I dont want to give out my name because i'm afraid of getting assassinated. here's my proof:
