3801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French police arrest terror financing ring that used Bitcoin coupons on: October 01, 2020, 11:31:59 AM
I do believe these kind of people don't understand a simple thing " Bitcoins was made for the people so that they can finally get away from the oppression of big companies and the government itself, thud if they do any harm to the image of bitcoins , they are not gaining profit in any way , nor they are causing problems for anyone , but for them "

These kind of people cannot even appreciate an invention that was made for the people to gain some power. Especially associating bitcoins with terrorism is beyond irreparable.

This is why government wants everyone to do KYC and such even for the most private wallets !
Your words may ring true but when it comes to this kind of people who are trapped in an ideological echo chamber, it will be for naught. You are an optimist when it comes to these which explains your exclusion of people with ill intent exist. By the way, these jihadist appreciate the invention, that is why they are using it for terror finance. They appreciate the quasi-anonymity that bitcoin offers. The tainting of the name is definitely irreperable but if we as a cryptocommunity does not roll with the punches then our goal will only get so far.
3802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum resistance on: October 01, 2020, 09:30:13 AM
Nothing I guess, bitcoin will readjust if dev's know that it is already vulnerable so this so called quantum attacks. And as far as I know ECDSA or secp256k1 is quantum resistance as long as our public is not known. So as a bitcoin user, to protect us from this so called quantum attacks, we shouldn't re-used our bitcoin address. As for brute forcing our private key, those quantum machine will still need more computing power. And if so SHA256 will be broken, then we should go to SHA512 and so on.

What do you mean needs more computing power? 1 qubit is equal to 2 bits, that is already fast. The current supercomputer will fall out of commission once quamtum computer become available. Although it is still on its cabinet computer phase this will be a breakthrough for computing power. And why think of quantum attacks of all the things? When there is a breakthrough, commercialized quantum computers will not be available for some years. Educational institutions like research, military, and aeronautics will be the first to use this just so you know. And as if low life hackers buy those quantum computers just to get into the network. That is the least thing that we should be wary of in regards to quantum computer.
3803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18.5 million BTC already mined on: October 01, 2020, 05:50:30 AM
There are 21 Million Bitcoin

as of Block 646,800,  88.0% of all btc has been mined. Only 2,520,000 BTC Left to mine! ( Source from Twitter Account Bitcoin Block Bot )

When All Btc Are Mined as there are no more Bitcoins to be Created, BTC Miners will no Longer be able to receive block rewards, which means BTC Miners Will Only Benefit From The Transaction fees to be earned from each confirmed transaction.
The mining speed will get longer as the supply of bitcoin that anyone can mine is depleting. Remember that we still have year 2140 before the last block can be mined and that block will be mined for more than 40 years. Yes the supply will run out but by the time that happens, a market that is perfect for cryptocurrency transactions is already established and the price is stable, though this is just a wishful thinking, the possibility will be endless.
3804  Economy / Economics / Re: Mathematics and economy on: October 01, 2020, 04:54:16 AM
Samsung is moving its factories from China to Vietnam. iPhone manufacturing factories are considering moving to neighboring countries Malaysia and Vietnam.

And all because some of their students are winning in math olympics? I don't know where you get this far-fetched idea but it seems a little ridiculous to me. But you may have the hard unequivocal data that would support this, right? If you please present them here and expound on it a little bit.

I cannot imagine a huge multi-billion international company board meeting discussing about how many students won in the most recent math olympics, their nationalities and where they came from, and eventually deciding to move their manufacturing in those countries simply because of that.
That is what I am thinking of too, there are no data to support his claim. Maybe OP can put it up when he/she sees it. I have theory on what OP meant, the more people that are inclined on the STEM in a country is, more companies will favor them because they offer more workforce that is in relation to development. A little psychology will demonstrate my point, if my workers are smart and that means that my company will have an increased chance in pioneering a new technology or making an advance iteration of what is currently available in the market. The chances will be low but I don't think letting the oppurtunity pass by is the rational thing to do.
3805  Economy / Economics / Re: Non-Government Economic System (Anarchy) on: October 01, 2020, 04:05:15 AM
Anarchism will not work, chaos will ensue if there is not leader or authoritative figure towering over the populace. Factions will be formed and a constant territorial dispute will be happening all over a country and it will promote right is might policy which is the same as any form of ideology. Honestly, I would rather have capitalism where there is a quasi-fair competition but a guaranteed security rather than anarchy where it is a free for all.
3806  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I got scammed in btc i can get refund in any way sir ? Plz help ): on: October 01, 2020, 03:26:30 AM
If you are scammed and posting but why you added a referral link. Are you trying to promote that website? I am confused.
He might have included that reference link by mistake, but who knows.  Opening a scam accusation thread against a website you're promoting isn't exactly the smartest way to promote anything.  Then again, OP doesn't sound like he's very sharp to begin with.

you forgot the chances of being scammed due to your extrrme greediness.
Probably more like extreme desperation and lack of common sense.  What was the amount he got scammed for, around $60 or so?  This guy's lucky he didn't send them more money than he did.  The lesson he (hopefully) learned could have been a lot more expensive.
I agree regarding not being the sharpest tool in the shed. OP is a total newbie so he/she might be distraught by the scam that emotions are running high when he/she posted the topic. OP needs to explain further about the scam situation. The 60 dollars might be a large amount in their country plus OP says that he/she is poor if that is ever true.
3807  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Spacemining fake team on: September 30, 2020, 12:46:12 PM
The good thing about this scammers is that they follow the same formula in making their websites especially the ones with images of members of their team. I hope that they follow the same thing for the rest of their lives. It seems that this project was a Frankenstein which means the possibility of people falling for this is high. Thank you for the heads up.
3808  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto Payment Gateway on: September 30, 2020, 10:49:29 AM
The website is pretty vague at explaining their technology, pretty much look like straight out of science fiction. They do have a team but I think this is just another case of identity theft, they do not have a physical office and being located in Europe does not help it.
3809  Other / Off-topic / Re: Re upload if you can to create awareness and protect the children on: September 30, 2020, 09:00:24 AM
Reuploading this on new channel could be worth but we shouldn't post the videos which are already taken down on our channel because our channel will get terminated for such actions.Even I too reported topless videos but Youtube says this doesn't goes against their community guidelines, oh it suck right? But we have lot of social media so we can post them and make awareness among the teens about these kind of guys.
Thank you for doing this. It might not be much but this will help in making sure that it will reach more people. The original is getting appealed and the problem is that MamaMax shown a clip where it exposed a predators phone number which goes against the guidelines. The guidelines is still shitty though because it vague. Youtube could have taken a more clear approach by making him edit the part they find violating in the Youtube built in editor.
3810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin countries: top hotspots that use BTC on: September 30, 2020, 07:58:02 AM
I can see some of the list and I am not surprised that my country did not make it in the list. Bitcoin is a really small minority in financial sector in my country. There is no traction in the government so no surprises there. Most businesses here still do banks but online payment portal and online banks is the most popular for populace and businesses alike.
3811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: September 30, 2020, 05:02:14 AM
They say that it is better but I think most online casinos can be rigged no matter how many system you are going to introduce to the players/customers. Greed will fleet the heart of someone behind the system and for sure they will try to cheat it. The good thing about crypto is people behind the system are sensible and are not blinded by greed, they earn enough with all this players losing more than winning anything.
3812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Openbazaar needs your support on: September 30, 2020, 03:30:48 AM
The idea is great but the only problem was the team failed to attract user on there platform that result to lack of items available on there marketplace. Additionally, Huge online merchant is now accepting cryptocurrency which gives this project a big hurdle to become a first mover on cryptocurrency online commerce.

I hope that open bazaar offers a token of appreciation for those people who will donate on this project so that they can encourage more to danate.
The other reason might be that they are not making a solution, if you stroll in Tor browser, markets like this exist although not organized it works the same. If they make it public, they will be stomped by pioneer markets like Amazon, Alibaba or eBay. The idea was good but they have a strong competition and I think that is one of the factors aside from no traction when it comes to advertisement.
3813  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Searching information about child porn block on: September 30, 2020, 02:55:34 AM
If this is a real CP, this might be sickening. Report this to the authority or cybertip.org, this is considered an online child exploitation. In the first place why put it here first without reporting it first? Curiousity can be a good excuse but you should report this.
3814  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: US charges two Russian crypto hackers on: September 29, 2020, 01:47:24 PM
If i were a major government I would have at least Two mixers under my control.

It is so easy to do for them. Run it legit until someone moves a lot of “bad” coins and seize them for auction.
I second this idea, having a state owned mixer makes sure that there is less shit going under your nose. The problem with these though is it will act as a prohibition for the consumers, this in turn will inspire competition that are less regulated and doesn't have a connection to authorities which makes it a big signal for terrorist sponsors and money launderers to give this illegal mixers. I would suggest that all registered mixers that wants to operate in the country should have cooperate with the authorities in the case that something ilegal might be happening in the mixer.
3815  Other / Off-topic / Re: Re upload if you can to create awareness and protect the children on: September 29, 2020, 11:21:12 AM
YouTube has community guidelines and I think it's not about favoring the person being discussed in the video and I'm also against those types of people.

But if a video breaks their guidelines, they're likely to be deleted. This is just rules per rules not with the intention or content.
But if it's Chris Hansen's To Catch A Predator which is exactly the same as they are doing. There are no takedowns? Dude, that excuse you are saying has been pointed by many people regarding Youtubes TOS. Have you heard of Animal Killing Channels in Youtube where there is no takedowns? I call BS on what you are saying that they should comply when there are worse things slipping through their holy algorithm. Plus the takedown invalidated the production value of his video which got taken down easily.

By the way this guidelines are a total BS and many content creator knows that.
3816  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: September 29, 2020, 09:48:40 AM
It is why only computer programmers and developers are the ones who cannot be replaced in the future because they are the ones who create computers and robots, that is why jobless people would increase their numbers in the future. Many people had already predicted this kind of situation a year ago, that is why if we want to be rich, you need to learn how to code or program.

In the 4.0 industrial revolution, some professions will slowly disappear. This can create fewer jobs because human labor will be replaced by technology. It is feared that there will be more unemployment due to the replacement of human power by machine and robot technology. Human resources or labor must prepare themselves to face the digital economy era and sophisticated technological developments.

Technology is considered unable to take over jobs that depend on human interaction such as doctors (including nurses, pharmacists and medical personnel) and teachers or other jobs with special skills. Other professions that will always exist in the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution are professions that rely on human creativity.
The good thing I am rooting for is that when most jobs are replaced by robots, the populace will all have a chance to be inclined to a more scientific endeavors like doctors, engineers, scientists and other STEM related oppurtunities. But considering capitalism and consumerism, we might be going down a dark path. The idyllic scenario will be achieved if right now we are experimenting with different types of governance, like universal basic income or something of the same nature as the former.
3817  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware: Scam Email Demanding Bitcoin on: September 29, 2020, 07:30:19 AM
Shame and dignity is a very powerful thing you can use to levy money frome someone. There have been similar types of e-mail scams like Widowed Philanthropist e-mail, Nigerian Pice (Personal favorite) and the recent COVID e-mails. Whenever I find this scam emails, I put it on RE:Scam. RE:Scam is a bot that replies for you in this types of scam emails, in amusing fashion they reply to this Bot and waste their time. Last I checked they are currently undergoing Phase 2 of the project.
3818  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HYIP script seller on: September 29, 2020, 05:49:02 AM
Just a simple search in Wikipedia and you can see what HYIP really means. They labeled it as a ponzi scheme so better do some searching for yourself. I hope that further investigation to this kinds of site are conducted because no matter how many scam sites that we list and destroy when the scripts are accessible then we are fighting a futile endeavor.

3 out of 4 of his current post is about Zeligz by the way.

3820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam alert, do not use freewallet.org on: September 29, 2020, 04:06:41 AM
OP traded with someone that has been flagged so many times. I hope this is an honest mistake where you didn't know about their forum account. Next time try to look for the sites you wish to use in the forum, they are pretty helpful. Regarding your funds, they will continue to use the mismatch address card because they will try to make you believe that you are the one in mistake.
