I think campaign managers would reduce this type of behavior if they ask to verify their Bitcointalk account from the social account and it should be considered as proof of authentication.
Imo, this is the best solution to stop bounty cheaters and impersontators. Also, it will reduce the spam in bounty campaign threads as it won't be necessary to write authentication posts anymore. All the applicants have to do is to fill the google form with the link to their authentication tweets. The problem is that most bounty managers are too lazy and don't care that much about the forum.

Trust must be earned. Start by making trades with other members and if everything goes smoothly and you prove yourself a trustworthy person then some of them may leave you a positive feedback. Don't rush things and don't make trades just for the sake of increasing your trust score. If dt members suspect you are trying to manipulate the system, they may red paint your profile.

I think the best way is if someone sent you a message, which is out of nowhere asking for payment or money, the best way is to block them,
Scammers are smarter than that. They do not contact random people but choose their targets carefully and wait for the right time to execute their plan. Take a look at this scam accusation topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5303500.0The scammer impersonated a reputable member then contacted the victim who shared his tg username in a previous post. This is wh you should never share more information than needed and to make sure you are talking to the right person.

LoyceV wrote a helpful guide on how to safely claim fork coins. The topic contain a list of most known forkcoins. Here is the link: LoyceV's Bitcoin Fork claiming guideSome multicurrency wallets such as Coinomi will let you claim most of your forkcoins and there are some paid services too but the latter is not recommended as you'll have to trust them with your private keys.

Just be careful, a legit coin/token or an exchange never ask you to send your money first before you got the reward.
A legit exchange will never ask you t make a deposit not before you receive the reward nor after that ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It reminds me of the scam airdrops which ask you to send the gas fee to receive the tokens. Why don't they deduct the 0.02 BTC from the prize and send you the rest?!

I can't understand how they could add the warning banner on their main page although they don't have access to their server and to their platform's backend? And why it's taking that long to fix this problem? What about their hot/cold wallets, did they get comproised too?
The whole thing looks fishy!

My balance between my Binance account and the wallet I was transferring to seems to have gone down by a couple hundred dollars so I thought that must have been it.
How much did you withdraw and how much did you receive? Even if your wallet uses a service/exchange different from the one binance uses to determine the fiat value of bitcon, the difference shouldn't be that big! Because they are a centralize service and withdrawal is a part of their profit
But why the withdrawal fees are high only for bitcon?

^^ but then their token will be worthless as they will have to pay many participants who are most probably not even interested in their service and won't use it again after receiving the reward. Obviously, their intention was to reward their loyal customers. If it was announced beforehand, it could've been massively abused. They made the right call, imo.

Once you bought BTC, what would be the fee for sending this further to another wallet (let's say a storage wallet)?
If you bought the coins from a centralised exchange like binance or coinbase then the transaction size doesn't matter because those exchanges charge flat fees for withdrawals (like 0.0005 btc or 0.001 btc /transaction). In the other hand, if you are sending from your own wallet to someone else's wallet, then all you have to pay is the miners fee which depends solely on the transaction size and the fee rate you choose.

Whenever I try to click any button or click anywhere on your website, I get a pop-up add. It's really annoying! I know the main source of income for faucets' owners are ads, but it shouldn't be that aggressive so you do not alienate your visitors. Better get rid of them and stick to banners to make the visitor's experience more pleasant and ensure he will come back again. Also, you should consider installing an SSL certificate for more security and privacy.

Since it's a .key then there is a high chance this is a multibit wallet file! Download both multibit classic and HD and see if any of them opens it. If the file is encrypted, then you will need to remember the password you used to encrypt it with.

For example, if you use two input in a tx from two different addresses, it's certain that both address belong to same wallet. But one can easily pass this since there is coin control option on client.
Although walletexplorer and some blockchain analysts use this to link addresses and assume all co-spent addresses belong to the same wallet, this is not always true. CoinJoin transactions are probably the best counter-example. The assumption is first mentioned in the original bitcoin whitepaper which says that the heuristic is always true. This is one of the few errors in the paper. It is possible for multiple entities to cooperate to create and sign a single transaction which spends inputs owned by multiple people. This is known as CoinJoin and one of its main purposes is to break this heuristic.
