3821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the dump in Bitcoin and most of the Altcoin? on: December 04, 2021, 04:04:52 PM
I'm trying to find a news that may cause the current downside move of Bitcoin but I can't see anything.

Maybe its because of the fact that Bitcoin is going downwards for 2 weeks already and most of the holders sold their holdings. The market went down even more because of the leverage traders who got liquidated in their trades causing Bitcoin to go down almost 20% in a single day.

Well, what we want to see is a green candle and it must happen at least next week or we might see a bear market at the start of 2022 which is we don't want to happen but its inevitable.

This is one of the best charts ever:

This is exactly what is happening right now Cheesy.
3822  Economy / Economics / Re: Another One Bites the Dust: Entebbe Int. Airport falls to China's Debt Trap on: December 04, 2021, 03:48:24 PM
Correct me but the agreement of both Uganda and China is the loan will be paid for 20 years with a grace period of 7 years but this happened.
Well, the China has the right to do it so this is the main problem of the countries they indebted with. Uganda is one of the 160+ countries that has debt to China and this put China as the largest creditor in the world.

What I'm afraid is they will do this to other countries as well and slowly they will try to conquer the world. Kinda like a conspiracy for me but I think that they are on their way to do it. :X
3823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 04, 2021, 03:31:23 PM
A really crazy trade that BlackWater exchanges their active player on their prime to an aging and almost close to retirement player. A pure 100% farm team in the league. PBA business and politics. If that will always happen, the league might be under shadowed by other local leagues.

They even called that trade fair. I'm seeing Blackwater again with a win-less record next conference that even their import will give up right away carrying that team.
SMB did some uneven trades in the past and so with Ginebra and Magnolia. Same goes for TNT. You see the pattern right.
SMC and MVP are doing uneven trades and they are saying that it is a fair trade. Pure bullsh*t and pure business and its obvious that this league is an SMC vs. MVP rivalry for years or maybe decades already.

How then can call an aging veteran being traded for a not too young-not too old though player like CBC. Maybe they are saying that it is a fair since it includes 2 second round picks. 2 second round picks? Is there an assurance that they will sign those second round picks Cheesy. This is the reason why PBA is getting boring and boring as years goes by and this is also the reason why we want those talented PBA players to play outside PH. Like you said, PBA prefers business rather than competitiveness. They've ruined the league. They've ruined the competitiveness of the league and these independent teams are just becoming farm teams of SMC and MVP.
3824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on sale, will the support continues to hold? on: December 04, 2021, 02:53:40 PM
The market is so astonished and annoying, the occurrence of bitcoin degradation in price is not understandable any longer and any more, emerging the price decreasing from day to day, what we passed through like some years back is happening indirectly again, it assumed that the gravity of people demanding bitcoin is not corresponding positively to the supply, many investors is getting and experiencing negativity into investment of bitcoin right now as the price keep on falling instead of accelerating.

And so there's no more support line as this point because the price continues to go down very hard.

Just like hours ago when I checked the price we are still in the $52k'ish and now I was also astonished to see it going as low as $46k. Hard to explain what's the sentiments of the investors maybe except that majority are on the selling mode.

I'm not sure about the negativity as well, the last bad news we had is the covid-19 strain that might put the market into a precarious situation.
For sure many futures traders got liquidated with what happened to the market. Its a bloody as hell right now but.... we've seen this numerous time already right Smiley. Top coins having a double digit percentage towards the downside.

The lowest that it reach was at $41,000 at least and right now the price is at $47,000 and we might see a bit of a capitulation because of what happened. Anyways, Bitcoin dropped into the 21 and 34 EMA which is already a sign of weakness. I just don't know why we are relying heavily in the fundamentals where the market is heavily affected by the sentiments and the emotions of the investors.

What we don't want to see is Bitcoin going below $40,000 because if that happens then what a famous TA that I'm following in Youtube is saying "Brace for Impact" because the odds of a potential bear market will increase.
3825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 04, 2021, 02:28:37 PM
As expected, GSW come back strong against the Suns and this dunk could have sum it all:

JTA postering Javale McGee:

The game is not over yet, but GSW with a huge lead, 113-89. Thus, they will end the Suns winning streak.

Steph with 20+ point game with 4 other players scoring in double digits.
They didn't manage to stop Curry this time as he got 23 points in their win against the Suns thus, the winning streak of Phoenix ended at 18. 118-96
Well, the Warriors didn't rely on Curry alone and they let the points spread across the whole team. 5 players in double figures and all of the players contributed in points as well.

I like though the reaction of McGee after the poster. Its like that "Ohhh yeah nothing happened. I will just run on the other side". I think its a bit expected since they played away from their home and the Suns don't have Booker that is their main scorer. At least we saw a glimpse of a possible WCF Smiley.
3826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I only have 0.001 Bitcoin is that okay? on: December 04, 2021, 01:41:51 PM
Is it fine to only have that much because that's all I can afford.
A 0.001 BTC is so much better than having 0 BTC at all.
There are some people out there who doesn't have the guts, the initiative and the courage to buy Bitcoin for some reasons. One is they are afraid to lose their money that they used to buy Bitcoin. Another one is that they don't have the money to use.

I still remember the time when I got a thousand Satoshis way back 2017 and I was happy because I got that from faucets. I started from faucets, saving all the Bitcoins from it while learning the basics. Now I'm holding Bitcoins and will hold for some time. If that is what you can afford only then there is nothing wrong with it but if you can accumulate more then it would be better. Keep a percentage of your salary or your money and use it to buy BTC Smiley. Good Luck.
3827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 03, 2021, 03:12:58 PM
After reading those new threads that is an advertisement to the new project Checkdot, here we go again with another advertising thread.
Well, just good luck in what you are doing. Just invest into it if you want. Make a research and decide after doing hours of researching.

As for me, I didn't try to invest into new projects for many reasons but the main is the risk to reward ratio. The risk is too high for me knowing that I'm not that rich to just throw my money into some new projects. Its better for me to invest into projects that has been there for years already and has a large community. Top coins at the top are the ones that I'm investing with because they have a lower risk though they have a lower reward too compare to new projects. Still I will not invest into new projects.
3828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Omicron token gained 900% after WHO name-new variant on: December 03, 2021, 02:33:06 PM
Any coin that is related to what is trending right now will pump like what happened to this Omicron token that they are saying.
When COVID started, there is a coin called CoronaCoin. When Squid Game has been the trending, there is a new coin called Squid Game Token that obviously ended up as a rug pull and we all saw it on camera Cheesy.

Now another token that is obviously a rug pull or a pump or dump coin has emerged. If I were you, I will just let this token go up and and not enter into it because you will regret entering at the wrong time. It went up 900% already. In the future when another variant and name will emerge then a coin that is related to that variant will pump again.
3829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 03, 2021, 02:03:20 PM
Will the Blackwater would improve next conference?

This is a good news though. Amer-Casio pair impresses as Blackwater beats Meralco in tune-up... however it's just a tune up game, hopefully they'll do that in the actual game as last season they are winless IIRC.

Well, this might boost the confidence of the players of Blackwater by a little bit after having a very disappointing All Filipino Cup.

Because this is just a tune up game, I'm not expecting too much from it because it might be that the players of Meralco didn't perform at their best performance when they played against Blackwater. Lets just see it in the 8th of December on how BW will play and I just hope that their losing streak will be over this season because it very embarrassing if you will ask me.
3830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance promoting Shiba Inu on: December 03, 2021, 01:38:59 PM
They posted it and they thought that it will create a small hype with SHIB and they expect that they can pump the coin just because Binance promoted them.
Correct me but I think just putting SHIB in Binance in the exchange is already a way of promoting the coin right? So what is the point of this tweet?

Well, congrats to them because Binance promoted them. One thing more is I don't want to believe in it unless Binance themselves will post it but whatever. Still I will not buy the coin Cheesy.
3831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 03, 2021, 01:16:17 PM
Phoenix Suns are continuing to increase their winning streak. They beat Detroit Pistons by 114-103 last night and the streak has gone up to 18 games now. But I think that their great series will end tonight as they are going to play an away game against Golden State Warriors. They beat GSW a short time ago but Curry performed not very well. This time, I think GSW will win with the big help of him.
I'm a Warrior Fan and I will always say it but with how Curry played against the Suns, right now I don't think that he will perform like the usual Curry that we always see.
With their first meet a few days ago, Curry shot 4/21 on the field and that is his worst performance on his career. Why? Its because of how Bridges is defending him. Lets see it like this, if Warriors has Payton who is a good full court defender then the Suns has Bridges who can defend even the best shooters in the league and that includes Curry.

On the other hand though, the Suns are playing away from their home and one thing more is that Booker will not play as well so this 2 are the advantage of Warriors already but still I don't want to say that the Warriors has a huge chance to win on this because the Suns played the entire second half without Booker and they got the victory. If they can defend Curry the same as the first game then there is a chance that they will defeat the Warriors again but aside from that, the Suns can't defeat them.

The most interesting game of the night was obviously Memphis Grizzlies - Oklahoma City Thunder. It was an historical game also because the record of winning by the most score difference was broken by Memphis here. It was 68 before as far as I remember. Memphis won by a huge score like 152-79. It must be the best game Memphis have had this season for sure.  Grin
When I saw the score I was like "Wooaaahhhhhhh".
I looked at the Box Score and it seems like that the Memphis had their best game ever this season and at the same time the Thunder had their worst. One thing more is that the Memphis played without Morant. Just imagine 9 players are in double figures. This is the largest margin win by any player in NBA history.
3832  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: December 01, 2021, 02:51:54 PM
Many are living their businesses to turn to crypto with the mind of joining the trend and with the way crypto investment is been hyped lately many just feel its actually one of those easiest way to make money online and the funny part is most of them dive into this opportunity without any formal knowledge about how the system works.
TBH, I'm one of them.
Not directly leaving my business because I don't have one but I left my job because of crypto. I don't want to share the whole story but at least you got the point. I'm doing this for around 3 years already and I didn't felt any regret with my decision. For me, it is one of the easiest way to make money but at the same time it is the easiest way to loss your money if you don't have that much information that will help you.

I will say crypto isn't a safe Haven and there is no 100% guarantee in crypto investment although one can attest to the fact crypto isn't ponzi but yet it's not just an easy adventure its an ever learning business option that could be passively yielding and at the same time bankrupt yielding depending on ones approach.
Crypto really isn't a safe haven and I think this thinking must be eradicated.
Or it depends on the investor Cheesy. Maybe for some who are holding for years, they see Bitcoin as a safe haven because base on history the trend of Bitcoin is always upwards and vice versa.
One thing is for sure though, focusing on crypto is hard and I know it because that is what I experienced. I left my low-paying job here just to focus on crypto. I tried to learn at least the basics to have something that will help me.
3833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 01, 2021, 02:33:56 PM
I wish I was able to watch the Brooklyn Nets vs New York Knicks game last night.  Cheesy  It seems to be a hell of a game. I was supporting Nets for this game and they made it by 112-110. Especially Harden had good stats like 34 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Durant followed him by 27 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. They nearly missed making a triple-double and double-double.

It was a close game, I watched it before the SUNS vs GSW game on free online streaming. it was so intense but in the end, the last foul by the Knicks causes them the loss last night. It was a lost calculation on their side and they didn't anticipate it until they see that they are out of time about 2.0 left and they didn't manage to get a closer look at the basket since they are out of timeout as well and the result was the Brooklyn Nets won by 2 points because of the free throw causes by that unnecessary foul.

Knicks are more competitive now, they probably have learned a lot during the last playoffs where they made an early exit. They are playing against the best team in the East and they gave them a tough time to beat them. By the way, what betting site you are watching for free live streaming, would you share?
Looks like the decision of Coach Thib to remove Kemba with the rotation actually works in their favor.
Well, numbers don't lie like I said and base on statistics Kemba is a burden on the team both offensively and defensively.

They played well against the top seeded team Brooklyn Nets and I think if they will continue to play like this, they might enter the playoffs with almost the same spot as they are last season which is 4th. The problem right now is what they will do to Kemba. Will they just let him stay in the bench and for sure if that is the case then his career will greatly affected. Take note that he is an all-star when he is in Charlotte but his career got affected because of injuries. Do you think it is better to just trade him or just stay with the Knicks where he isn't contributing to the team at all?
3834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: December 01, 2021, 01:40:43 PM
The book they are reading is this one :

It's available on Amazon easily in different formats.
This kind of books really attracts young kids because of how decorative it is. The overall design really is intended for kids.
Well, as long as it is all about the basics of Bitcoin and they can understand it easily then there is nothing wrong. Maybe with this, we will see other schools in different countries do the same what do you think Smiley.

Is the Government of Slovakia aware of this?
Many here said that this program isn't from the government but maybe from the school/s themselves.
Well, I don't think too that any government will allow Bitcoin related curriculums for some reasons. Maybe El Salvador will be the first one to introduce it. We don't know Cheesy.
3835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'M back! My next move with Bitcoin on: December 01, 2021, 11:58:35 AM
~
Heres my next plan with bitcoin:

1: I'm going to teach my brother about bitcoin because he's curious about it.And the thing is, he is just 12 years old. And it's a challenge for me to educate him about bitcoin. Let's see how I can setup a lesson for him so that he won't get bored.

2: One of my photographer friends heard about NFTs and is now interested in getting into them, and he wants my help.

If only I know how to educate other people when it comes to Bitcoin. I mean for others, sharing information is very easy but in my case its very hard for some reasons. Its good to see your family member curious about Bitcoin. I just hope that somebody here will be curious about it as well though I can't educate them but there are many information on the internet that will help them.

NFT's are still in a hype right now and we are seeing new NFT games and NFT arts every single day. Just always do research because there are many NFT related scams already mostly in NFT games Cheesy.
3836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ethereum killer? The next Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2021, 11:28:12 AM
When EIP1559 has released, many expected that the gas fees of Ethereum will drop significantly because of that. What is the end result? Same problem. Gas Fees of Ethereum is still high as of now.

With this problem of Ethereum, many projects are finding another blockchain that will support their project. Projects such as Binance Coin, Solana and Cardano are the ones who are popular right now when it comes to smart contract. TBH, I'm quite surprised with how Solana's price spiked within the last months but to claim that Solana will exceed Ethereum's market cap is far from reality. There are still projects that are under Ethereum right now and there will still be some.

The reliability of Ethereum compare to these other smart contract projects makes it at the top 2 in terms of market cap and aside from that, there are still other reasons why Ethereum is still at the top 2 right now and in fact I think that we might see it go at the $5,000 price. Maybe when he said that Solana is something that would become the next Bitcoin, he just woke up from his beautiful dream. Kidding aside, this will not happen.
3837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 01, 2021, 05:27:49 AM
That assist of Paul to Shamet for the dagger three to put the icing on the cake in the final minute of the game and they got the victory against the top seeded Warriors 104-96 and they tied their franchise record for longest winning streak at 17.

What is the reason why Warriors lost? Turnovers. They turned over the ball 22 times and they also got turnovers in the most crucial minutes of the game. Another reason is their defense. Curry is the top leading scorer right now but in this game, he only scored 12 points.

Lets take note also that Booker got a hamstring injury at the mid of the 2nd quarter and didn't return and still they got the victory. I rooted for the Warriors to win in this game but it seems that the Suns will continue their win streak Cheesy.
3838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 30, 2021, 02:46:41 PM
Brooklyn Nets are the current leader in the Eastern Conference. They have 14 wins and 6 losses so far. After a four-game winning streak, they lost to Phoenix Suns by a close gap. And tonight, I see that they are going to have another home game vs New York Knicks this time. Knicks are also a good team in this season. So Nets' job won't be easy. Claxton have an illness as far as I know and K. Irving is still not able to play because of resisting taking covid-19 jab if I'm not wrong. At Knicks, it seems like D. Rose and K. Walker will not be able to play. I'm favoring Nets here.

Kemba was demoted from the starting squad and they are going with Alec Burks.  This is actually a positive for the Knicks.  Kemba has been sluggish in November.  His +/- for the season is -6.8 which is the worst of his career (outside of his rookie year).  Was waiting for thibs to pull the trigger. Quick needs to get more minutes and Burks is a solid vet who provides much better d at this point then kemba.

Well, this is the exact reason why Coach Thibodeaou removed Kemba out of the rotation. This is from Fred Katz and he tweeted it on twitter and you can read more here.
Quote
A statistical summary of why the Knicks are pulling Kemba Walker from the rotation:
Knicks have the best defense in the league when he’s on the bench (99.0 DRtg) & are dead last (116.3 DRtg) when he’s on the floor.
They are 27th in offense with him playing, 9th with him off.
Numbers don't lie and if they will be more successful with Kemba out of the rotation then they will stick into it. On the other hand though, Wall is still not playing with the Rockets because he wants to be a starter but the organization declined his request so in short he is earning at around $90M for the next 2 years and he will not play unless he will get traded. Some are saying that what if they will trade Wall and Kemba? Cheesy
3839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 30, 2021, 09:31:42 AM
I'm looking forward to watching this game it's Dec 3 in our country what about you guys?

I hope the Suns will not lose to the Pistons before the game with GSW and the Lakers will face against Clippers for the first time this season. these two teams are possible to face each other in the NBA playoffs.

Phoenix
vs
Golden St.
10:00 pm

L.A. Clippers
vs
L.A. Lakers
10:00 pm

Well as always, I will watch the highlights again on Youtube.... or not with the Phoenix Vs. Golden State.
I think I will watch the Suns Vs. Warriors game. Clippers Vs. Lakers? Many might see it more entertaining and fun but I see Warriors and Suns more entertaining for me (because I'm a Warriors fan Tongue).

Phoenix' keys to win against Warriors is the paint I think and Booker. Booker's height is tall if you will compare it to other guards and because of that he is very hard to guard and add also his effectiveness in perimeter shooting. I think if there is a Warrior that can guard him efficiently it will be Wiggins. Well, lets just see how this one goes and I know that many here are excited of this possible WCF match-up already Smiley.
3840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 30, 2021, 09:04:52 AM
Since the import list was released, we don't have any news now regarding the Governors Cup opening. Manila will remain in Level 2 status and on that tier, sports activities are allowed. I hope Manila will just keep its Level 2 status so we can now expect the opening of the Governor's Cup without any problem. It's been a while since Ynares, Araneta, MOA Arena, etc. host a PBA game. It should be done now!

There's an update, mate.

Ynares Center will host the PBA Governors Cup.

Semi-bubble setup again so nothing new and just the same as the last conference. They should at least allow 50% capacity for vaccinated people. Still no intense and action and they just like playing in a practice session with referees involved.

Dec 8 is the opening of PBA Governors Cup right?

Still semi-bubble, it's that mean  that the player will stay in the nearest hotels or rented house along the gym? or it's just the limitation of the fans?

can't wait to see how team will perform especially those trades that take place during the break.

New challenges with those import backing the local stars, who from SMB and Pangilinan group will stand out and dominate?

or Any chance with those single franchise to win a title?

Its been years since SMB and MVP are dominating the league with or without imports so.... I'm pretty sure that it will be the same this Governor's Cup.
A quick google search and you will see that from 2013-2019, the champion of Governor's Cup are coming from SMC so I will not be surprised if it will be the same scenario this season or it will be coming from MVP.

Though I want to see a new champion right now especially those independent "farming :X" teams, the chances of them winning is very low. Right now I'm just excited to watch PBA again after weeks of off season. I will still go for SMB as my pick to win Smiley. Whose your pick in winning this year's Governor's Cup?
