3821  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New to mining, Help with everything. on: January 12, 2016, 02:53:06 PM
Hello everyone.
So I always new about Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining but never really looked into it in great detail. My friend and I are thinking of starting a miner and have £200 starting money. If any of you guys could be useful and recommend us anything it would be appreciated.
What miner do you recommend? Also I don't understand fully about the psu is it necessary or what?
Also whatever miner you recommend what profit do you think we could get, assume the electricity costs are free.
Any additional information that you can add for us.

Thankss.

Why not reserve some play money.
Buy a cheap S1 or S3 miner to play with your miner.

Then buy some cloud mining or even better some bitcoins and learn about it.

These miners will not give much profit though as big beasts like S7 are eating the whole network.
Cloud mining is a better idea, but which one to choose is a question.
OP should do research before getting into mining field.
3822  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: January 12, 2016, 02:50:42 PM
Anyone help me please?
I'm newbie...!

I believe there are like 4-5 topics like this one on the first page atm. Can you please read the topics before blindly posting a new/same one?

That's okay man, maybe because he don't see the topic and still newbie. and cmon, it's also boost your posting for signature campaign right. don't be like that.

I will not agree with you dude. As a newbie Signature campaign will not be for him. If he wanna try better he can try faucets for some long after that He can start work on signature campaign Once he got the rank up. And he can work for bitcoin like data entry or captcha clearing.

Even newbie signature campaigns is better than faucets, just do the math.

But I think captcha solving is better than newbie signature, some people used to pay 0.0007 BTC/1000 captchas solved

I don't believe that better, entering in a sig camp as a newbie won't earn you much but it's still something as you are ranking up.

Use other strategy.
Buy cheap potential accounts, rank them up and then join.
It's easy. Smiley
Twitter campaigns are an alternative too.
3823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: January 12, 2016, 02:49:07 PM
Gambling is not wrong in the sense if you are doing it with the money you can afford to lose.
It is not easy to always win, but losing is always a risk.
3824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: January 12, 2016, 02:48:01 PM
There is no limit to earning or losing with gambling.
It depends on what you pick, how much you bet and how much you expect.
The biggest role played in gambling is of odds, you need luck of course to have a winning streak.
3825  Economy / Economics / Re: Reuters:"2016 could prove to be the year that the price of bitcoin surges again" on: December 26, 2015, 11:39:06 AM
I am pumped for 2016!
I think with halving bitcoin will go back over 600 like it was before the drop!

A lot of people think that the halving effect has been incorporated in 2015 itself.
The price rose from $200 to almost $500 on the back of nothing.

But this is not the end yet.
We are very much in the middle of the scene and need to await the sentiments of markets that it is going to throw on us.
3826  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: December 24, 2015, 02:30:00 PM
in my case its 50 : 50, but other than that I will have investments in Property.
Property investments actually make you rich easily, choosing the valuable property is very important

Property investments need much cash compared to what you need to buy Bitcoins or Gold.
Gold is even much expensive compared to Bitcoins, but Bitcoins can be bought for lower during this period, and you don't know what you will see the next day.
Bitcoins give you more profit as compared to properties.
3827  Economy / Economics / Re: Reuters:"2016 could prove to be the year that the price of bitcoin surges again" on: December 24, 2015, 02:27:08 PM
Read the article breifly and can say just one thing, we are going to enter the most awesome days of Bitcoin.
It seems that the time has come Satoshi's hardwork will get appreciated in an honorable manner.
3828  Economy / Speculation / Re: China stimulus effect on bitcoin price on: December 24, 2015, 02:16:15 PM
If it is going to affect the price in any means, it will just be a pump and dump, they will just fire up the markets with so many buy orders and throw the price up, then kick it off and dump on us. Nothing can be expected more from them.
3829  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: December 24, 2015, 02:04:21 PM
"I played around and mixed sin, cos and tan a bit to form a graph and this is what I got, it's unfathomable proof that we will see $560,000 14 months from now"

12 months later

"still legit"

Come on. The graph means nothing bro. Smiley

If graph means nothing, then how people are able to predict?
Graph actually gives you some hints of what you might/might not see in future, this is a speculation and not a guarantee, but charts are everything.
3830  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 24, 2015, 02:01:23 PM
Do you guys really think that this is possible now?
I think we will never be able to see $100 again, not even $200 if we see price rise in few days as expected.
3831  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: December 18, 2015, 02:46:14 PM
bitcoin is going to $2k in january and $4k 1 minute after block halving.  be prepared... be very prepared

You seem to be very much confident that this will happen, huh!?!?
But yes, if that happens, then everyone will be happy, as many folks are possessing loads of coins expecting to see six figures for their coins.
$2k in January isn't easy, but yes a possibility in the next 6 - 9 months.
3832  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: December 18, 2015, 02:36:58 PM
I spent a lot of coins before, and now I am regretting for the same.  Undecided
Never knew price would be back to $500. Sad
3833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: December 18, 2015, 02:26:57 PM
honestly gambling is the fastest way

And the worst one based on many factors, most importantly luck.
If you are not having that luck favoring you in your picks, then never bet with your stake ever as you might lose more than your greens.
3834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin user adoption is horrible - here is why: on: December 18, 2015, 02:13:59 PM
The adoption of bitcoin is slow, but it will be faster as many more people know the bitcoin. I expect several companies will pay staff salary with bitcoin soon.

It is not slow, but steady.
It doesn't mean that if companies start paying salaries, then we may think that Bitcoins are adopted. It needs a lot more than this, it needs to become mainstream, needs to be used everywhere as money so to get seen and get the significance it needs.
3835  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 16, 2015, 02:09:29 PM
If you really want to save, then you will need to cut out many unstable expenses in food, clothing, and finally it comes to your home whether it's your own or on rent.
3836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: December 16, 2015, 01:54:03 PM
I always use Coinbase and blockchain, but mostly try to use Bitcoin-QT as it needs my passphrase in order to get it unlocked, because I believe in security and that's what we use Bitcoins for.
3837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be more adopted in long run: btc mobile payments or debit cards? on: December 05, 2015, 09:07:16 AM
I would say it totally depends on the situation or what type of good your are purchasing.

Bitcoin payment is surely convenient but unlike debit card, all dont accept it. and even in future why would people take the pain of accepting bitcoins when they want is fiat only which can be done with debit card. people wont take the effort to accept bitcoin and convert it to fiat

Why not? Why do you think that it's a pain?
If we will think it that way, we are ourselves devaluating the possibilities of Bitcoins being used worldwide, so talking anything else is far away from what we are talking currently.
