3821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs ETH? on: February 17, 2017, 07:43:24 AM
I am in dilemma. Should buy ETH and hold it or buy bitcoin and hold it.Which one do you thing going to give best and high return in next one year?

the only safe investment among cryptocurrencies, specially when you are thinking long term is bitcoin and nothing else.
other altcoins can be good too such as litecoin and monero and even ethereum but it is best if you treat them in short term not long. meaning buy in a dip and sell when they rise to add to your bitcoin holding.

ethereum can be profitable but it is full of problems and has some bugs too. there are some good news on the way and it may be pumped again, but i am waiting for a good opportunity to get in and seek profit. for now bitcoin price is rising up again and in case it rises suddenly and big, ethereum price may drop.
3822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you cashed-out bonuses from casinos? on: February 17, 2017, 07:38:38 AM
i have not tried many of them, maybe 1 or 2 tops because most of the times i check their rules for cashing out the bonus and also read some feedback from other people who tried it and then decide to invest or not.
and so far the requirements for being eligible to withdraw that bonus has never been good. it is actually in the favor of the casino not the players because they usually ask the players to make a huge number of bets or have a big wagered amount and we all know in long term and with high number of bets the chances of losing is higher.
3823  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spectacular bitcoin performance. on: February 17, 2017, 07:19:00 AM
this is yet another proof that China has never been as big as a player as most people around here think it is. we can't obviously deny the effect that Chinese have they are big traders but we can clearly see that with them out of the picture bitcoin price is still strong and even it is rising.
3824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀😍🚀😍🚀😍🚀😍 Mooning coins ... Better to get in 🚀😍🚀😍🚀😍🚀😍 on: February 17, 2017, 07:13:46 AM
current price: 0.00002008 BTC
My Prediction Price: 10k today maybe 20k end of the week[/b]

seems like your first prediction only lived up to half of that price. it is already 7 days and SHIFT has still not reached 10K let alone 20K. the highest it could ever reach was 6900 satoshi and is 3600 currently.

do you have any speculation about this coin?
because i am curious to know why you said 10K and mostly because of its high volume.
3825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Segwit miner support has reached 18% after a day on: February 16, 2017, 06:22:39 AM
i seriously hope that SegWit activates on litecoin eventually.
and price is only one of the reasons i am hoping for it, obviously that is a big push for litecoin to go to the moon because of the new development being segwit. and the fact that i am holding lots of litecoin

but mostly i hope this happens because we can all see SegWit in real life action, and i do believe that the bitcoin miners will be more willing to adopt SegWit if it activates on litecoin and is successful (living up to the promises).
3826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 16, 2017, 06:08:34 AM
1) the most important one is being fair, this can be the provably fair system or in other games being a reputable and an honest casino.

2) the game they offer. not all casinos offer all the games, and i like only a couple of them not all the games.

3) design. it needs to be good, and good means a design that is interesting not boring but at the same time doesn't slow my device down because of the type of device or the internet speed.

4) feature. this can be the autobet system, referral program, API so that i can use a bot, speed of the rolls in dice games, and many more.

5) giveaways. it is always to get prizes from time to time. either as a faucet, a rainbot, or some promotions like jackpot or rolling the 5 billion roll in a dice site.
3827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: blockchain trends on: February 16, 2017, 05:57:51 AM
Surprisingly, China is not even in the top 25! Did Google trend include China in the analysis at all?

google trends is people using google search engine to search for keywords and in China people already know what "blockchain" is, so obviously when they know about something there is no need for searching about it.

and the same goes for other countries such as Ghana that OP mentioned in his second comment after about a year! in third world countries people are not familiar enough with bitcoin and blockchain technology and since recently there is lots of activity in those countries, obviously people use search engines such as google to find out more information about bitcoin and blockchain.
3828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most interesting thing you know about Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2017, 05:52:10 AM
apart from the stories such as the famous pizza story that everyone knows, the most interesting thing bout bitcoin is bitcoin itself.
think about it this way, someone someday created something out of nothing and ever since that day millions of people have adopted it and are paying a thousand dollars for that thing. bitcoin is indeed a very powerful currency without boarders and limitations.
3829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Central Banks & Bitcoin - What if they start accumulating? on: February 15, 2017, 07:04:29 AM
when you have a hypothetical situation in your mind, first you have to think about why would that situation even happen?!

is it because they want to make profit from bitcoin?
they can't bitcoin is too small for a "country" or "central banks" to even consider entering for profit. there are lots of there ways and markets for them to make 100 times more profit from.

is it to kill bitcoin?
they may be able to hit the price but there is no benefit for them to do so and bitcoin can not be killed so again there is no point in doing such a thing!
3830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So now we've run dry on gimmicks and innovation we're back to meme on: February 15, 2017, 06:56:40 AM
Is this the new rise of the meme coins? It seems we've run out of innovation lately and I see 3 or 4 new meme and supposed amusing reasons to create a CC.

memes have always been there, the biggest one was Doge and ever since then, there were many more that i have seen here and there with so many different and stupid names. and none of them live to see the light of day for long.

Not bad I guess perhaps the general public will be drawn in through fun and cool factor. Who's on pepe train? Not me sadly should have listened but thought it looked like a load of junk. Where will it stop? 2M 5M higher or crash to zero in a couple of weeks.

i doubt that.
because mostly people who already know about bitcoin and altcoins after bitcoin will find out about these memcoins! and someone who is unaware of cryptocurrencies in general will never even hear their names unless it is something as big as Dogecoin and that still have a small chance.

and right now coins like pep are in the hype mode and are getting pumped , the chances for these coins to stay around for long are so slim!

p.s. i missed the train too Sad since it is not listed on any valid exchange!
3831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: February 15, 2017, 06:49:58 AM
Is kingdice reliable?

So far so good Smiley We just hit 11% returns on KingDice so far from the relatively small amount of time we have been there!

Actually over 18% when I log in now. Only thing missing is some charts people can easily use to get to see the volume and returns of the site.

With regards to is it reliable - I never say any dice site is 100% safe and if the site is new, more than likely you are taking a bigger risk. So far that big risk looks to be a big reward considering the time we have been invested and that the site does not use any leverage.

i think investing in newer dice sites is even better than investing in the old ones. simply because there are far less investors which makes any new investor a big whale because of the percentage share he gets. so with smaller amounts you can make a large profit.

although i totally agree about the risks of investing in a new casino because of it being unknown and without history and trust.
3832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Poker Against Powerful AI bots with Real Money ? on: February 15, 2017, 06:43:46 AM
playing poker against the house or even other players or looking like players online will always have so many problems with fairness because there is no proof for the hands and there is absolutely no proof to know whether others know our hand or not.

playing against a powerful AI is the least of our worries in my opinion and that is one of the reasons why i never liked online poker games despite loving the game itself in real life.

besides, poker is a game of reading your opponent and playing him not so much playing the game itself. hence the word "pokerface"
3833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we ReBrand Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2017, 06:38:33 AM
maybe "Re-branding" is not the best word for it.
because it is mostly about the perception that people have of bitcoin not what bitcoin really is. we need to change that.
and it takes a long time, specially if something has wrongfully became common among people no matter how wrong or how big/small it is.
3834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Volume Altcoin Drop on: February 14, 2017, 11:04:34 AM
does anyone know why of the reduction in trading volume altcoin in poloniex and bittrex ?

care to give us some numbers?
in the morning when i opened my bittrex account the daily volume (at the bottom of the page besides bitcoin price) was 800 bitcoin and it is still as high as any other day which is between this and 1000 bitcoin daily.

where do you see this drop in volume?
I see the market are reduced, besides the market ETH, XMR , MAID

again which markets?
the altcoins you named (ETH, XMR, MAID) and lots of others are the top coins that are being traded daily. these big coins always have a much higher volume compared to others.

the rest of the altcoins, specially those that are smaller (e.g. less than 1BTC volume) have a nice ride while they are being pumped and then die, with their volume go down to zero.

also in all markets without exception when price is not changing, meaning a stable phase, volume drops because simply there are less trades being made.
3835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: February 14, 2017, 10:56:05 AM
I have been thinking of an insurance service for gamblers, in which they were supposed to pay regular premiums. And while placing bets can get back at least a small amount back if the lost amount is a huge one. Myself too haven't come across such services. What you people think of an insurance for gambling.

i believe one of these less knows casinos were offering a service like that to its users (you didn't have to pay anything though). i think it had a Japanese looking name Cheesy

it was like a one time cash back in case you lose. they had multiple options, if you lost once per week you could take all your money back and had some other options to get a percentage back,... in general things like that. but as i said the place is not so famous around here.

i will add more information if i can find it again!
3836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: February 14, 2017, 10:51:33 AM
----
if you believe that a strategy is bad, then it doesn't matter if you play with that strategy for one minute or half an hour! you can lose with it in the first minute.
and also if the strategy works for (30min-1hr etc..) then it should work for 10 hours too. since the time is not a factor in the results of betting specially when it comes to a provably fair dice game.

martingale is bad mostly because the bankroll of the players can not handle the amount of loss when a big losing streak hits. but if the bankroll problem is fixed then it can be useful.

Tell that to the gamblers who won for the first few hours and then lost in the end! also, time is a huge factor if you want to gain profit and it also helps you lessen the chance of losing your bankroll.

You're making me laugh! How can you fix a bankroll? increasing the amount of the bankroll? you're just increasing the amount you're going to lose!

all you have to do is adjust the amount of your bet suited to your bankroll for you to use martingale even if you don't have a huge amount of bankroll.

increasing the bnkroll is based on how much you are betting and it is assuming you still have the same bet sizes not increase the bankroll and then increase the size of your bets too, that would be pointless.

also i didn't say increasing bankroll is going to guarantee your win. i didn't even say increase your bankroll. if you read the comment again you can see that i am saying the problem with losing in martingale is the bankroll which means if you have unlimited bankroll you can win other wise it is not guaranteed.

with a higher bankroll you will only increase the chances of winning.
3837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Litecoin have a future? on: February 14, 2017, 10:46:21 AM
As long as betting sites accepts Litecoin and the transaction charges are really low and faster i would really like to use Litecoin than the rest of the coins and that is the how the future will be and i expect the price of the coin to increase than the present situation.

if all you care about in a cryptocurrency is the speed of transaction and the "charges" or in other words paying lower fees then use Dogecoin or even Reddcoin (RDD) you can even send them with zero fees and get confirmation in a couple of seconds.
3838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Exchange Traded Funds? on: February 14, 2017, 10:35:52 AM
March 11 will be a good or bad day for BTC. Do you guys think BTC should be part of Exchange Traded Funds by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)?. I have read some articles saying this will make a boom in the BTC price in case of good news because Big traders might participate and invest high amounts of dollars.
my opinion concerning sec approval and disapproval on bitcoin to be trade by security and exchange commission is not a good omen for bitcoin as it will affect it decentralized nature and also it will affect it nature as money. We should see bitcoin and others crypto currencies as money. dollar cannot be trade as assets in stock exchange market the same way bitcoin should not be trade there.

So then you mean to say that Bitcoin should be traded in Forex currency trading platform which will be more benefited as bitcoin is also knows as digital currency. I think this is also a good option of trading in forex exchange.

well bitcoin exchanges are like forex market, they just trade bitcoin versus different currencies and not have different currencies against each other.
also i believe there is at least one Forex market that accepts bitcoin too. in any case, anyone who wants to trade bitcoin, can easily do that through these available exchanges and little by little these services grow and add more options also become regulated.

Re: What are the most popular bitcoin gambling games?

Dice. Its easy and you can automate the game and watch Wink Also there are many dice game sites that are sprouting everywhere. I think there are huge profits in dice game since its allover. Next maybe is roulette. I also seen a horse racing on Yobit but I dont think its popular.

yobit is such a funny business to watch Smiley
they are supposed to be an exchange service, and instead of being a good exchange with better features, a better API, a fast platform with better charts and information,... they turned into adding gambling games to earn money!
and the most funny part is that none of their games are provably fair!
3840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will make us millionaire if we hold for a few months on: February 13, 2017, 06:32:44 AM
I want to but an altcoin which I need at cheap price like bitcoin in its initial time and want to get a highest profit by holding it for some months or for an year in my wallet just like bitcoin holders got the profit in its starting time.

open coinmarketcap or an exchange and look at some charts of coins that have been around for a year or so, that can help you understand what is going on with altcoins. try looking at more than 10 different coins.

altcoins aren't known to go up in long term. they start of hot, go up fast and big in a very short time (usually 1 to 3 days) and then get dumped just as fast. and from that point onward it is all drop.
obviously there are exceptions to this rule but this description matches majority of altcoins out there.
