^ the prestige of wearing the coveted number 10 jersey, coupled with being in his home country could be enough to lure Sane to Bayern. Manchester City are at the moment not going to compete in the next two UCL seasons (except that rule is countered) and every top player wants to play in the top competition.

Man City are appealing against their CL ban, I have a feeling they may get it reduced to 1 season. If they win it this season though how do you ban them for next season?

It is possible we will have to wait a bit longer for the Premier league to return. 6 players/staff have tested positive for Covid-19.

No names/clubs were mentioned and these players (or staff personnel) will have to go to quarantine for 7 days.

They did 748 tests, so less than 1% tested positive.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/52726278
Pretty sure it’ll be like any other industry, the sick stay home & away from the healthy. PL football is probably one of the safest industries to work in atm, they get tested twice a week now.
3823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 19, 2020, 06:14:15 PM
PL carried out COVID-19 tests recently and there were 6 more cases founds from three clubs. There weren't any further specific details provided. (Source: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/may/19/premier-league-reveals-six-positive-coronavirus-tests-across-three-clubs)

By not revealing which clubs these players who test positive from, seems FA still trying hard to bring back the league. Though Bundesliga still restarting the league when there are 10 positive tests reported.

Yeah, 6 players is a tiny % of all players & staff in the PL, it’s simple to just quarantine them for a week or two. This won’t affect anything, the season will still restart.

Juventus is being linked with Milik, Raul Jimenez, and Icardi. None of them are great options if you ask me.

Milik plays for Napoli, he has had two serious knee injuries, and will cost more than he should due to the feelings the Napoli president and the whole club have for Juventus.
Jimenez is almost 30 and unproven in Serie A.
Icardi is a great striker with an awful manager/wife who is capable of destroying every professional relationship with her demands, public comments, and requests.

None of them are really top tier, world class players. I’d probably go for Icardi or Jimenez if I had fo pick one, I’m not sure either would really improve Juve though.

We should be seeing PL football back on our TV’s in late June, what do you think guys? I think June 19th is pencilled in as the first weekend of games.
3826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 18, 2020, 09:03:19 PM
Easy win for Leverkusen tonight which puts them in 5th, only 1 point behind Leipzig for that all important 4th spot which gets a CL spot for next season.
3827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Reveals How much Bitcoins he Hold on: May 17, 2020, 12:40:46 PM
I don’t believe Musk only holds 0.25BTC, there’s no way he has that small a stash. If he still has any then it will be a lot more than that, he’s a very clever guy, he knew what he was doing tweeting about bitcoin Cheesy

What a great way to start the day, open twitter, and read the notifications.

According to the BBC quoting The well-known French newspaper, the return of POGBA is nearer now than ever.

Source: https://twitter.com/BBCSport/status/1261788517950087174

They are talking about 72m £ or money plus players, this is always the same rumor nothing new and when so many sources report the similar voice something real is under the way.

£72,000,000 is maybe a fair price in the current market? I think transfer fees will depreciate thiS summer for obvious reasons. It seems to be a move that Man Utd & Pogba would both benefit from. It will be interesting to see if Pogba can return to his former Juve form. We have not seen that guy play for Man Utd, only for Juve & France.
3829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 17, 2020, 12:35:11 PM
Bundesliga is the best what happened with me and my friends during last 2 month. Thanks God!

I’m looking forward to watching the Bayern game, only a few hours to go now. Life without football is nothing, hopefully the other top leagues restart soon also.
3830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN HALVING now a reality !!! How is that working out for everyone ??? on: May 16, 2020, 12:28:19 PM
Nothing is any different atm except for miners, they’re getting half the money for mining new blocks. The lessened supply of new coins will take effect eventually though & we’ll have another meteoric rise.

Transaction fees are up atm, that's probably the only change for the average user.
3831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.K. Rowling, Author Of Harry Potter Is Interested in Bitcoin, Time To Short? on: May 16, 2020, 12:25:51 PM
She’s a fiat billionaire, I couldn’t care less if she has negative opinions about BTC. She hasn’t got any great need or passion to make more money. She should have part of her wealth in BTC but she won’t because she’s complacent. I hope she enjoys the massive negative interest rates fiat banks will give her during the incoming recession.

Bitcoin user not affected.
3832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 16, 2020, 12:23:17 PM
Today is the day then, another small step towards normality. I’m really looking forward to the games today, I’ve had an accumulator with multiple games (both teams to score).

I don’t usually bet on the Bundesliga but I’m desperate for anything atm.
3833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 15, 2020, 09:18:18 PM
Nothing new these days, same story are reformatted over and over in press about neutral venues and the presumptive day of return, June 12 seems to soon. Well the conclusion i made is simply let's wait and see how things go in Germany!
And boys, it seems like a great balloon game over there  Tongue

I think the latest meeting between PL officials pushed the potential restart back to the week after so June 19th.
Bundesliga starts again tomorrow so we have some top Euro League footy to watch again.
3834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Counting Cards -- a Dirty Cheat or a Legit Skill? on: May 15, 2020, 07:12:30 PM
It’s a very skilled way of cheating, if anybody is intelligent & suave enough to do it then they deserve what comes with it to be honest.
3835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 15, 2020, 07:08:19 PM
All the coaches have been having discussions about coming to some sort of consensus to get the season started again. Mourinho is probably just fed up of certain coaches trying to get the season voided.
3836  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Time High:: 2020 or 2021 ? on: May 15, 2020, 09:15:31 AM
We could an ATH in 2020 but I think it’s more likely in 2021, I think it takes a while for the halving to take full effect so we might have to wait a while.
3837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 15, 2020, 09:08:02 AM
I'm not really sure what's wrong with EPL players and clubs. First they didn't accepted cut of payments, now some are complaining that they will have to play during pandemy, bottom table teams complaining about playing on neutral grounds. Why there is no such problrms in other major leagues?

The bottom clubs don’t want to get relegated so are trying their best to drag it out & I presume they hope the season will be cancelled. Sadly for them there is a lot of money at stake, big TV & sponsorship deals so the season will almost certainly be completed.
3838  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: May 15, 2020, 08:58:54 AM
Bundesliga is back tomorrow, I don’t watch much German football but you can guarantee I will be watching tomorrow. What you going for guys? I’m thinking of having a Both Teams To Score parlay, there should be goals as they haven’t played for months.
3839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 14, 2020, 03:49:49 PM
"If you don't want to play, stay home and watch Bundesliga!"
You tell 'em, Mou  Grin

The disrespect! The audacity!  How can you hate this man?  Roll Eyes

Love it, well done Mourinho. It's probably a bit of a shot at some of the lower table teams who are trying every trick in the book to not finish the season.
3840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 on: May 14, 2020, 03:13:06 PM
Price is looking good at $9680, I think in a few months when the halving has taken full effect we could see a new yearly high. I’m calling $15,000 by the end of 2020.
