3821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $Scott the new 1000x Shib? on: March 03, 2022, 05:26:03 PM
I'm not sure about this memekoin even though the supply is very small and the price is quite high but the risk to invest in Scott is very large because at the moment the coin is not listed on a large exchange and this will be a big scamer so you have to be careful with the coin, and I'm sure when many investors are interested in scott then the value will definitely be dumped, Be careful with hype because you just want to take advantage of the opportunity so it takes great consideration to invest in this coin.

I also don't consider buying new coins again because much of it has been pump and dump project and the developers get to abandon it. If a new project is not listed in high profile exchange, investors don't buy it because a developer will be serious and believe in the utility of the project before providing huge fund to list in big exchange.
3822  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 03, 2022, 04:19:10 PM
That's what disappointed me with FIFA or UEFA. They're like having a double standard that doesn't make sense. It is one proof of how the power of a handful of figures influences the neutrality of a global institution, sadly. If it didn't, there shouldn't be such a rule now. As a football observer of course I am disappointed, they have violated their own rules to become an independent institution unaffected by the political, economic countries of the world. This proves discrimination still exists.
The partiality of imposing strict sanctions on the suspension of football only to Russia shows the non-neutrality of FIFA or UEFA, if for humanitarian reasons it is necessary to reconsider that other colonial countries deserve an equivalent suspension, the point of assessment is that the suspension of FIFA or UEFA is due to factors of the political elite and not independent.

But FIFA and UEFA are part of the world, they are part of Europe and can not do things in isolation of their own. Russia is receiving sanctions of the action on Ukraine, in sports it is not only the football bodies that have come against Russia, like I read the Taekwondo federation have taken the black belt away from Putin. Again for example if for example UEFA and FIFA didn't suspend Russia and they need to travel to airspace that have been banned for Russian flight ? You see they can't travel too to meet up with games because Europe and America banned Russian flights. Again just today 141 countries have voted against the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, 5 voted for supporting Russia and 35 countries are indifferent, so what is the margin difference for support and no support. We can see that FIFA and UEFA are not going to act against the host countries. Those 141 countries that against the invasion are also members of FIFA and UEFA, they carry the decision of their countries. This is the way I see the analysis of the current sanctions here and there against Russia.
3823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real life utility question on: March 03, 2022, 02:31:18 PM
Crypto needs real-world regulations to get to that stage in our world but still I doubt it will happen, BTC for example is a decentralized crypto project that is why I feel like crypto purpose was to stay hidden and private in the first place and since centralized power rule the world people aren't ready to embrace crypto fully in the open but only in private.

I think the paradigm is shifting already that bitcoin is taking the center stage with the recent awareness and use of bitcoin as an asset and flow of financial exchange.
But bitcoin is not privately used because it is openn source through the blockchain.
3824  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 03, 2022, 01:46:43 PM

Many retail traders probably put in market sell orders for their stocks before the open, and that’s why we got the huge gap down and completely reversed. This is one example why you shouldn’t believe too much into FUD.

But somehow if not for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the fud will still be a holding water till now because the prediction was seriously pushing btc price down. There are two factors that could have changed the fud and one is the current war as it is going on now and giving bitcoin a recognition and  legalization laws going on in Ukraine and Russia before this war started.
3825  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: EU Lawmakers Drop Bitcoin 'Ban' From Draft of Crypto Regulations on: March 02, 2022, 04:50:25 PM

I like this type of news centering around FOMO for bitcoin and it is good to get them at a war time like what we have now. I do not know whether it came about as a result of the war between Russia-Ukraine to cushion any effect of what the result of the war can bring. Maybe politicians in EU are now beginning to realise the need to move for bitcoin acceptance in that region. Gradually this type of legislation will spread through other continents and bitcoin will become global.

Certainly they are beginning to drive the bitcoin policy by themselves. But I think Putin and Zelensky were already thinking of this war and trying to strategize about how to freely transact, Putin surely saw it coming and today the reality is with the world. The adoption is beginning to draw nearer with this war and Ukraine asking for finance through BTC and altcoins.
3826  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 02, 2022, 02:25:15 PM
May I know what is the point of boycotting those casinos? Do you think the Russian economy will be affected due to this? Just the owners of those casinos will get hit who may also against Putin's decisions.

Well my opinion is also that such boycott won't really be the thing to stop putin because it is just minor but then it will still send the message and join the other little measures and sanctions to force Putin to rescind his decision of invading Ukraine. If the Russian business men are affected, it will slowly affect the economy in different areas including no tax payment or evasion, fall in GDP and unemployment will rise because the workers of the similar businesses and SMES will be dropped.
3827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever subscribe to any tipser giving sports betting premium picks? on: March 02, 2022, 12:07:15 PM
I have subscribed just few months back, they have different tipster and I only follow one of them and it seems a good run however there are some time that they are losing 3-5 times consecutively and they encourage players to increase bets every time we are losing and they always says to follow the fund management guide so we would not be able to lose all of our money.

I think if you are not familiar with the sports or in sports betting in general I think you can use tipster service but if you are familiar with the sports and you like it, definitely you don't need tipster since you can analyze the game by yourself.

I don't use the tipster that you have to subscribe and pay money whether premium or VIP or whichever because it doesn't really work the way it is made in promise. I have been in telegram for some tipster and see that they only post winning result when there is winning and they don't post loses all the time like in the case of winnings  Grin So I decided is better to research on games and make your prediction for yourself and take charge of the outcome. If you make winning predictions, that will increase your confidence level that is the good thing about DYOR on betting.
3828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 01, 2022, 04:51:35 PM
I'll go for the boycott if you are updated on the news you will read and see that many sporting events are banning Russia in their events so why not support the boycott against Russia, so Russians will urge their government to ask strongly to their government that they stop the aggressions against Ukraine if Russians feel the impact of the ban and boycott the government will think of stopping the aggression so far I'm not playing in Russian gambling platform but if I have one I will boycott too.

Boycott of gambling in Russia won't play a major role even sports at large may not stop putin has been stripped off his black belt from the Taekwondo but it has not made any difference so far. The economic sanction is the biggest of the sanctions that can affect Putin and that is because it will put hardship on Russians. The war has entered 6th day and running, gambling boycott won't get anywhere to stop him.
3829  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 01, 2022, 03:53:36 PM
But just in case the market is back to a lower price, we should take preventive way or have more strategies to avoid panic.

How is it that you can avoid panic. Panic is individual based not general. Some people are always spread panic in the market and the others will take it that way and act on it without doing there own research to understand why the market can react the way it is.. But as far that there is price fluctuation then panic can keep going on because it works with emotion.
3830  Economy / Economics / Re: West should start de-coupling from Putin's Russia energy supplies on: March 01, 2022, 11:43:21 AM
Russia is now putting herself to Europe as the black sheep, trying to impose subjection on Ukraine. Massive assault is being the panic as satellite images was shown by US , military reinforcement moving from Russia to Ukraine. Russia is facing severe sanction that is affecting their economy despite the EU reliance on Russian Oil and gas. EU Parliament emergency sessions is on at the moment to welcome Ukraine application . The EU is deciding to channel their gas need beyond Russia and build effort towards developing an independent Oil and gas for EU. I think Russia has opened the eyes of EU to know they need an independent Oil and gas supply.
3831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the war on: February 28, 2022, 09:47:31 PM
Yeah unethical Somehow feels wrong if I bet on any conflict involving humans and cruelty like war, never looking for it on any platform either. I think it's crazy, there is such a bet maybe we all won't do it bet between the blood of innocent people, so sad.

It is actually a weird thing to do. This is human life not like is animated features captured in animals like bull fight or some other animals. I don't think I will have to do such betting because it is not a joke that people are dying. Taking human lives for joke in the time of war is looking unpatriotic, unsympathetic and dehumanizing. I think the sites shouldn't have allowed this type of betting but anyways , in times of sorrow it is time for another to joy.
3832  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: February 28, 2022, 07:50:50 PM
Could this be one of the catalysts on why bitcoin is going up? Because it has increased a lot in the past few hours and probably many people are starting to convert their fiat and I try to preserve the value when using crypto currency.

The effect will certainly come down on Russia. Rubie has lost value and inflation will rise soon because that is the next hard time the people will feel. The people have no choice than taking money out fiat to cryptocurrency and bitcoin is having that required effect. Is a bull now because of what is happening with the sanctions on Russia.
3833  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia - Ukraine war - Exchanges needed for sanctioning on: February 28, 2022, 02:18:09 PM

I read through the link provided by Op. Not only best exchange will benefit from this rush but more exchange and binance has already said it won't block Russian hodlers, I guess maybe that's because China and Russia are being aligns. Yes this may be the beginning of another bull for the market because Russians withdrawing fiat and converting to cryptocurrency will certainly cause another rush as they have lots of hodling.

But my personal point about this is I don't wish that they start dragging cryptocurrency exchanges into this kind of politics. Bitcoin is decentralised and they should allow exchanges out of this and not seeking the help of exchange to block any hodlers whether Russia or Ukraine. Exchanges shouldn't take side but to be open to who ever in the cause of this fight. Staying neutral will give cryptocurrency an edge when this whole thing is ended.
3834  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation hits Russia on: February 28, 2022, 11:42:36 AM

This is likely the beginning of the war if it does not cease anytime soon, I am been seeing some people saying the EU needs Russia than Russia needs them, that they depend on crude oil and many mineral resources from Russia, but what is causing the inflation in Russia is because of the Russia - Ukraine war. This could be more severe if the war does not ends soon. With the look of what is going on, Russia has been planing this for years and this has led to some people killed and many left their homes.

You don't expect the sanctions not to bounce on the Russian economy but it is only coming to me faster than I expect but I'm not surprised. I thought Russia got it worked out already. The heavy blow on Russia for now is the remover of their banks from swift. I watched the EU president (Ursula von der Leyen) speech on the sanction, the woman said with that action it would be difficult for Russia to trade easily and that will affect their economy e also getting military facilities to prosecute the war will be difficult. I think all the sanctions are all rolling out different effect. Russia and Ukraine are suppose to have discussion in Belarus border, we hope for resolution and peace to come back to them.
3835  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: February 28, 2022, 08:26:12 AM
Will there ever come a time that the government reaction to crypto will be encouraging for the people? Lately the head if international monetary fund Christine lagarde stated that regulatory action from the international community on crypto is inevitable ..what do you think

The hand is already written in the wall that the world is going towards regulation of cryptocurrency or bitcoin use in individual country but not bitcoin itself because it is decentralised. Individual country will have to play the part they want on the people. Looking at the war in Ukraine and Russia being taken out from Swift, they won't have choice to begin the use of bitcoin like Ukraine has asked for help through BTC Eth and USDT. This is a development that will grant more access to the regulation process for more countries.
3836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 28, 2022, 07:39:50 AM
The hunt for the top four spot amongst Manchester United, Westham and Arsenal now very competitive.
Arsenal has a good chance to take over the young lads are ready you could see the zeal and passion.
Manchester United getting bad results game after game...Weatham can get better but they don't seem to get into the top four anytime soon.

From the table searched from google  , the 4th spot for champions league is still contested. Manchester United at 47 point is not well standing and I see Arsenal having better chance to enter this spot because of more matches to play. Westham may not have that because they have already played 27 matches with Manchester United.

Most casinos only put those after you've registered, or rather ask for after. They don't usually ask it at immediate registration,

Websites that wasn't out to scam users always provide there warning sign for you to see before you get involved in signing up. So underlying factor is to confirm scam or no scam if you are signing up with such sites you know you have to be more careful of disclosing information. A genuine casino should make it clear with restrictions and countries not eligible.
3839  Economy / Economics / Re: What economic sanctions will US impose on Russia on: February 26, 2022, 09:52:12 PM
Kamala Harris (US Vice President) making some statement on the Russia and Ukraine problem said US and her aligns will impose unprecedented economic sanction on Russia if they continue to evade or attack Ukraine. So I'm wondering what kind of unprecedented economic sanction can be given to Russia if they continue to evade Ukraine.
So far Russia has continued to increase their military activities in Ukraine, the threat of sanctions from America and Nato does not seem to deter Russia from continuing to carry out military attacks, America has now imposed economic sanctions on Russia and the Americans have imposed sanctions on two large Russian state-owned banks currently, besides that America has also asked the Nato countries to stop all trading activities with Russia, but I think the impact of these sanctions will not seem to have much effect on Russia because as far as I know, Russia is currently establishing trade and economic cooperation with other powerful countrie that is china.

Yes I think that Russia has prepared herself for this sanctions before now and that is making it look like it is just nothing happening to Russia. For now they have strengthen trading activities with her aligns which China is the leader. China itself has a large market network around Asian countries so Russia won't have any problem to divert to China for supplies for the economy.
3840  Economy / Economics / Re: China says it will trade normally with Russia on: February 26, 2022, 07:37:26 PM
One of the largest economy in the world could help to keep stability to Russia's economy? May be this will not be enough but it seems Putin have already planned for it. I saw a data where it shows Russia has 13% of their total reserve in Yuan. They knew a sanction will come so they reduce their dollar reserve to only 16%. A great move from Putin can not deny it.

I think Putin has played smart in the reserve money. I also read Russia has a reserve around $600 million billion worth. They have grown that reserve because of this war and can keep trading with China and other Asian countries. The war may gradually stay longer than expected because Putin is vowing to take over the territory of Ukraine.
