3841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 24, 2020, 04:05:17 PM
We havec two dips of 500$. But I m still waiting for more decline in price. 8400$ is still not an advisable price for bitcoin to buy. I will buy until I see price coming around $6000. Good luck.
3842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still confusing. Economic/War crisis vs Damand. Which one is to boost Bitcoin$? on: January 24, 2020, 02:14:11 PM
Bitcoin prices sometimes soars so high due to certain matter like speech from a figure.

or

It just sometimes soars without any issue.
Which is the frequent factor? or maybe not both?

First of all please avoid too many lines spaces.
Crypto currently is affected by global events going around us like Chinese president address last year regarding blockchain adoption and recent us Iran tension. Global events have huge impact on bitcoin price.
3843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's going to happen in International Court of Justice (ICJ) ? on: January 24, 2020, 01:04:13 PM
Have seen pics of this community that are horrible to see like they are roaming in sea on boats with no food and supplies. Myanmar government is not doing enough to stop atrocities againest this community. Let's hope something good comes out from icj
3844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: January 24, 2020, 12:02:02 PM
The most important thing in bitcoin is entry point aka the price at which one buy bitcoin. If we go back to March 2019 when this post was created bitcoin was around 4k$ and now its 8k$. One can see itself the return.
3845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So...Is Bitcoin the ultimate coin that does not need more development? on: January 23, 2020, 05:19:06 PM
There is always room for improvement in every innovation and same holds true for bitcoin. Bitcoin has serious issues like scalability and high transaction fee. If that does not address timely then bitcoin won't reach to masses.
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 23, 2020, 04:52:03 PM
Don’t find much info in the article apart from impact of Irani Gen killing on bitcoin price.
My take on this subject is that I am investing some portion of my savings into bitcoin not all my savings into bitcoin. So far my investing in bitcoin is going good as I am only a HODLER.
3847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Millionnaire mind : How to be rich? on: January 23, 2020, 03:26:28 PM
Everyone in thos world want to be become rich but they cannot make it possible if they are working for someone for their whole life.Be yourself a boss even if its a startup one day it will become a big company.Be smart and make others work for your benefits.
World deadliest addiction is monthly salary. Your company uses your skill to make progress and get rich while workers keep on working for there complete life. Make a bold decision before it gets too late.
3848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Disaster for BitCoin... Who Stole all of PETER SCHIFF's Bitcoins ??? on: January 23, 2020, 03:04:31 PM
#Crypto was my worst #investment because I lost 100%,” Euro Pacific Capital CEO @PeterSchiff tells  (source)
I think this is another attention seeking move just like we were reading threads related to Craig Writgt and McAfee.
You have to take care of your password and if you lost it due to some reason then why blaming crypto for that.  Why not accepting your own mistake.
Peter Schiff is a millionaire many times over, and smarter than you will ever be.  He did NOT, NOT, NOT forget his password.

Only a total loser needs to embrace a LIE to make himself feel better.
he mean he lost his btc due to wrong move ( trading ) not loosing it coz he lost his password or its stole by someone  but whats more worst is that he put the blame all on btc  .

lol , how dare him    ? he isnt a newbie and he is inteligent to know how btc work or how trade work but if he is a newbie i think that will still be forgivable somehow   . but this could be the reason for the slight decline that we exprience the past days   .

Just wanna add one correction he is saying he didnt forget his password rather his wallet forget his password. I dont think he saying he lost in trading by wrong moves. Either way its the responsibility of user to take care of his btc.
3849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin moves like Gold? on: January 22, 2020, 05:29:35 PM
I would say what most of the people here are saying its just a coincidence. Gold is old and different market then new bitcoin. Gold price is not that volatile as bitcoin is. AFAIK, gold price is on the rise for long time while bitcoin join the party just few days ago.
3850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 22, 2020, 05:08:41 PM
Bitcoin touched 9k$ and then fell back to 8600$. For last 2-3 days we are seeing bitcoin price stable around 8500 - 8600$.
I dot care whether bitcoin reaches 9k$ or 5k$, we need some price at which bitcoin remain remain stable. I am done with this price volatility.
3851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As expected THE LIAR, CLOWN 'John McAfee' backs down from $1M claim on: January 22, 2020, 04:15:33 PM
I am sure he was not in his senses when he gave this statement of 1 million USD per bitcoin. The community must not pay any attetion to bitcoin price prediction whether its McAfee or Elon Musk.

McAfee Calls His Own $1 Million Bitcoin In 2020 Prediction a “Ruse”

3853  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on the highest /lowest value of bitcoin in 2020? on: January 22, 2020, 12:56:18 PM
This year bitcoin is volatile and a bit stable for last few days. Despite so many rumours bitcoin still firmly holding 8600$ and refuses to go further down. We have coin halving and Hope's are that it may take bitcoin to higher stable value. I have positive hope this year.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Alts instead of Bitcoin for far greater returns (or losses) on: January 21, 2020, 04:39:06 PM
At the risk of going against what most Crypto investors suggest, I've decided to keep the majority of my portfolio consisting of projects from the top 20 Alts (apart from BSV and BCH which are shitcoins) working on the assumption that many of them are down by a far greater percentage in the last few years than bitcoin which has actually gone up Smiley

I'm well aware its a gamble but I'm prepared to run the risk of either making insanely large profits or losing my $2K investment especially after watching the markets the last few days, Alt prices have gone up and down faster than a hookers knickers  Grin

Your thoughts peeps? am I stupid, brave, a pathological gambler or a combination of the the three?

From crypto historical data it's now getting evident that alt coins prices are very tightly coupled with BTC. Alt coins cant go up if BTC is down and vice versa. Going for alt coin is not a great idea, since BTC is the king of market. I suggest 60% must be bitcoin.
3855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 04:18:10 PM
If you have got enough profit from bitcoin you can surely diversify your investment portfolio by investing in multiple domains. Stock trading is a good option too as that market is much stable and mature compared to bitcoin. never store all your eggs in one basket – Warren Buffet
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many big powers agains crypto on: January 21, 2020, 03:59:17 PM
Who cares what YouTube or Google says about crypto? Have an opinion on Bitcoin, do not pay attention to other people's statements. That is how you reach the truth

YouTube restored deleted contents and its now a settled issue b/w crypto and YouTube. YouTube said that its due to mistake in algorithm. I think there were just 250 videos which got affected due to this.
Same for Google, I don’t find any hurdle in find crypto contents through Google search.
3857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright claims , today will be the last day for Bitcoins. on: January 21, 2020, 03:13:59 PM
Technically there is no point in discussing his claim. This guy has no technical knowledge of bitcoin but all credit goes to members of this forum including me for making this faketoshi so popular. We all know he has done nothing and he is only doing this to get popularity nothing else.
It seems to me that he confuses popularity with shame. In my opinion, I’m ashamed to expose myself to Satoshi without even having technical knowledge about Bitcoin.

Especially because its 4 days later and things seem to be working normally. He lied, as usual.

Faketoshis being faketoshis, want attention. Maybe they earn some coin with views and social media exposure, who knows.

Recently I was reading in another thread that faketoshi saying he can’t access his 1.1 million btc as courier will be reaching along with private keys very soon may be later this month. This guy for sure is mixing shame with fame.
3858  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Forget World War 3 Protestors are already killing country’s economy. on: January 20, 2020, 03:57:35 PM
there are situations when protest is the only option. You cant really sit when you see government is doing wrong like imposing taxes on people while increasing perks and privileges for member of the parliament. There are cases where protest gives good result. They are not always bad.
3859  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 20, 2020, 03:13:28 PM
Yes, dollar is still the strongest currency when we consider the fiat currencies. In general though, Fiat currencies are indeed getting weaker and weaker with banks rushing to lower interest value, making fiat currencies value itself depreciate. You can find more information about that here: https://bitcoinerx.com/finance/fiat-money-not-worth-anything-anymore-admits-banking-giant-ceo/. (found this link in CryptoBrys' post)

Now as to your main question why USD is dominant, it is because US is behind it. It is because its economy can back the currency of USD, making it the strongest currency out of all. You can find more information why it is strong here:https://www.thebalance.com/world-currency-3305931

As for why euro is valued higher, it is very simple. Supply and demand. Euros have a much lower supply across the globe when compared to USD which has a larger amount of Volume because it stimulates the economic growth with it.

The article you shared sums up why USD is strongest
Quote
Despite trillions of dollars in foreign debt and continuous large deficit spending, the United States still holds global trust and confidence of its ability to pay its obligations. For this reason, the U.S. dollar remains the strongest world currency. It may continue to be the top global currency in the years to come.

I am happy that there signs of war are over and we are heading towards peace. Both USA and Iran claimed that they are victorious in this conflict. I am not interested in who is actual winner or loser, I only know that war in this region will bring death for many innocents.
