I just noticed this (on chrome). I pressed Ctrl+F5 and that disappeared.
3842  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How accurate is the fee estimation in Electrum? on: September 25, 2020, 11:33:55 AM
Wait what? They track an individual's payments based purely on TransactionID?
It's not the first time I've heard of such an issue.
They do track the address. But once a payment is made, they no longer track new transactions and wait for the first transaction to be confirmed. If the first transaction is removed, they consider the payment as failed.

Look at following thread. There was a same issue with Changelly. (The OP's problem was solved after contacting their support, off course.)

Please help with coins missing in transaction.
3843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitamp login seed problem on: September 24, 2020, 03:32:11 PM
The only thing that comes to my mind is that they may have blocked some countries from opening wallets in their website. Have you tried to open your wallet using a VPN?

Anyway, since the seed generated by Bitamp is BIP39, there is no need to worry. You can import your seed phrase into any other wallet that support BIP39 seeds. As already suggested by Royse777, the best option is Electrum. Download it and follow the steps stated above.
3844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recovery of wallet having private key only on: September 24, 2020, 10:51:40 AM
If you want to recover your fund using blockchain wallet, you need to create a new wallet and then import that private key into the new wallet.
To do so, click on "setting" button at top of the page and select "Wallets & Addresses". Scroll down to bottom of the page and click on "Import Bitcoin Address". After that enter your private key.

As already suggested in previous posts, the more safe method is to use a non-custodial wallet like Electrum.
You can download Electrum from its offical website.
When creating a wallet in Electrum, select "Import Bitcoin addresses and private keys" and enter your private key.
3845  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum not sending payment? Pending forever.. on: September 23, 2020, 09:07:07 PM
For spending bitcoin from any address, you need to have its private key (or a seed phrase which generates that private key). If you have the private key, the address is yours. otherwise, the address is not owned by you.
In the case you have created the wallet using Electrum and that's not watch-only, you can access your fund using the wallet file (you need the password if it has been encrypted) as well.

You cannot spend bitcoin from a watch-only wallet. Watch-only wallets are used only for checking the balance and cannot be used for spending fund. Because you don't enter your private key when creating a watch-only wallet. It is created using your public key or your addresses.
Note that anyone can generate numerous watch-only wallets with million dollars balance. But having a watch-only wallet doesn't mean you own the address shown in your wallet.
3846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: private key doesn't work on: September 23, 2020, 08:46:53 PM
What do you mean by not working?
Do you mean the private key doesn't generate any address? Or it generates an address but it's empty?

How did you create your paper wallet?
How are you importing your private key? What's the wallet you are using?
3847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: September 22, 2020, 09:59:00 PM
I haven't checked all but even some tokens are using the same ticker as yours (GOLD) this can easily confuse traders/investors
Given prices shown in the image provided by you and since every GOLD token represents 1 gram of real gold, only tokens listed on bitforex, livecoin and stellarport have the chance to belong to Digital Gold project.
As far as I know tokens listed on bitforex and livecoin are Digital gold tokens. This has been stated on official website of digital gold.
I also checked tokens on stellarport. There are two different gold tokens on stellarport. One of them belongs to mintx.co and the other one belongs to stellarmetals.org. Since both of them are based on Stellar network, they cannot be Digital gold tokens.

So, only tokens listed on bitforex and livecoin belong to Digital gold project.
3848  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mnemonic seed? on: September 22, 2020, 09:34:34 PM
I tried to import it into Electrum, but does not accept it. How do I know what wallet it is for?
Did you check BIP39 when importing the seed phrase into Electrum?
Most of wallets support BIP39 seeds. So, there's a high probability, that seed phrase is a BIP39 seed.
You should also try it with different script types.
3849  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Mnemonic seed? on: September 22, 2020, 06:20:21 PM
Electrum used new wordlist and I don't know if standard seed from Electrum can be import to the different wallet
You can import a seed phrase generated from Electrum wordlist into Bluewallet.

Note: You cannot import Electrum seed into bluewallet if the wallet is empty. [Ref.]
3850  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Funds went missing on a transfer from Binance to Coinbase on: September 21, 2020, 11:06:49 PM
Also, the address I sent it to was correct- I just chose BEP instead of one of the other options.
Are you sure you selected BEP2 when withdrawing USDT from binance?

BEP2 tokens are based on Binance blockchain. So, any address on this chain start with bnb.
Coinbase support USDC which is an ERC20 token. Since ERC20 tokens are based on Ethereum network, all USDC addresses start with 0x.

Therefore, if you get the withdrawal address from Coinbase and select BEP2 on binance, you give an error.
I am pretty sure, you withdrew the USDT tokens on Ethereum network. You can check this through your transaction history in binance.
3851  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: The server returned an error when broadcasting the transaction. on: September 21, 2020, 05:29:12 PM
You could be getting the error when you are trying to spend from dust outputs. What is the value of the UTXOs that you are trying to spend and how much are you using for fees? The fee has to be at least 1 sat/vbyte to be accepted by the nodes. I think the dust threshold for Bitcoin is around 550 sat (someone correct me if I am wrong). If you are trying to spend less than that, you might see such an error.
I doubt that's the reason.
Electrum displays a different message when spending dust amounts. (Transaction could not be broadcast due to dust outputs.)

See following topics.

To OP:

Try to connect to a different server. It may solve the problem.
It's also poosible that there's a problem with your connection. Turn on/off your VPN.
3852  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How accurate is the fee estimation in Electrum? on: September 21, 2020, 04:57:14 PM
Nope. Each block theoractically can accommodate 1MB of transaction.
If I'm not wrong, theoretically the size of every block can be up to 4 MB.
The block size cannot be bigger than 1 MB if all transactions in the block include only legacy addresses. If Segwit addresses are used, the block size can be bigger than 1 MB.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
3853  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I opened an Electrum wallet. I just opened. How I can remove from my PC? on: September 20, 2020, 05:38:44 PM
Can I delete Electrum Wallet? If I can, is it has price for deleting wallet?
There is no difference between removing Electrum and removing other applications.

If you are using windows, go to "Control Panel" and then click on "Uninstall a Program"
Find "Electrum", select it and click on "uninstall"

If you have created a wallet and you would like to delete it, go to C:\Users\<Insert your username here>\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets and delete created wallets.
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: September 20, 2020, 04:49:34 PM
I'd rather buy physical gold. I don't see the advantage.
Physical gold and GOLD tokens each have their own benefits.

There are many advantages in having GOLD tokens.
One of advantages is that, you can trade bitcoin, ethereum, etc. with GOLD. That's not possible using physical gold.

GOLD tokens can be used as a stable coin. Compare GOLD tokens with USDT. Which one do you prefer? Tokens backed by physical gold or tokens backed by a fiat money which can easily be printed? Tokens that are provably backed by gold or tokens that are backed by dollar without any proof?
So, GOLD tokens can be used by those who look for a trustworthy stable coin.

Another advantage of GOLD tokens is that you can buy and sell gold anonymously and at any fraction. Can you buy 1 dollar worth of physical gold?
3855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Payment reduced due to the increase gas fee on: September 20, 2020, 02:13:26 PM
Though there are project that requested for gas fees to receive reward, could it be is necessary for us to send it and receive our rewards?
I just replied to another topic in which the OP had been scammed with a same thing. that may be a different service. But the way they scam people is completely similar.
Don't deposit money or you will be scammed. Any service asks you to deposit money before they send your fund is a scam.
3856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can i withdraw or transfer my money from Bijora-btc on: September 20, 2020, 01:41:45 PM
What do you advise me to do
Does that mean the amount transferred has gone
You can do nothing. You've been scammed. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.
Any service asks you to deposit money to become able to withdraw your fund is a scam. Never trust such services.
3857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question for Freebitco.in users... on: September 19, 2020, 10:24:04 PM
The percentage towards the next bonus increases if you wager or buy lottery tickets and decreases if you play the free roll.
As that percentage is decreasing, so the effect of free rolls you have played has been bigger than effect of your wagering volume and lottery tickets you have purchased.

Im not that familiar with Freebitco current events and bonuses but if you do have concerns then better to post into their ANN main thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.5100
They have another thread in gambling section. That's more active than the thread in Micro Earnings section.

3858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pls what is difference between TRC-20 and ERC -20 USDT wallet address on: September 18, 2020, 09:42:24 PM
USDT is a token based on four different blockchains. You can send USDT through Omni layer (which is using bitcoin blockchain), Ethereum blockchain, Tron blockchain and OMG blockchain.
These networks are working completely independent from each other. So, you cannot send USDT token from one of these networks to another network.
TRC-20 tokens are based on TRON network and ERC-20 tokens are based on Etherum network.
The campaign you wish to participate in is using USDT tokens on TRON network. So, they need your TRON address.

This user woke up and was last active recently but his profile is still marked as inactive. Could it be a simple mistake?
Whenever you need data from an account on BPIP, you can simply click on "Refresh Profile" button at top of the page and see the updated profile.

I just clicked on "Refresh Profile" button. That profile is now updated.

3860  Other / Meta / Re: What is exactly the functionality of "Report to moderator"? on: September 17, 2020, 09:33:07 AM
Is it in modlog? Maybe the user deleted it.
That's not the case.
I just checked modlog and found out why that report was marked as bad.

The post in question had been made in this topic.
According to Loyce.club, Excimer had made two posts in that topic. (Look at the image below.)

Loyce.club

And both of them have been deleted by moderators. (Look at the image below).

modlog

Given the image posted by GazetaBitcoin, he had reported at least three posts made by Excimer in that topic.
So, that report has been marked as bad due to being duplicate.
