3861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have concluded that all governments together can't stop bitcoin on: February 15, 2022, 07:45:24 AM
I think, It's true The Government may ban existence of bitcoin but the Government cannot stop bitcoin. Bitcoin is digital currency and Decentralized crypto. Many Countries people's Usually Using investment in bitcoin but all Countries are not accepted in bitcoin but they are still using bitcoin.Bitcoin investment and bitcoin interested increase day by day.

I agree that they can ban bitcoin, but they cannot prevent people from using or investing in bitcoin. For example, I am aware that there are countries that have banned bitcoin in their jurisdiction, but there are still people who are able to get into bitcoin because it is an investment for them and they can earn money from it. Yes, this is illegal in that country, but they cannot prevent people from investing in or using bitcoin. I am confident that, in the future, the ban will be lifted and will be legalized in the country because it has a positive impact on the economy of the country, similar to what Brazil has done.
3862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 15, 2022, 04:40:21 AM
This is not only going to benefit the gambling platform Stake but also Bitcoin itself and crypto. This wager by Drake has made headlines in the news not only because of how large the amount is but also because it was made in Bitcoin.

Drake is a famous personality not only in the US but also in the whole world. This is definitely going to promote Bitcoin. Not to mention that Super Bowl is being followed by millions of people also.

If I am not mistaken this bet by Drake has already won.

That is correct, both of them made it famous because it is extremely large and also because it is bitcoin. But, has anyone considered whether that is really Drake's money or whether it is for stake.com, given that it was sponsored? I'm not sure about this, but whether or not it is sponsored, it has a significant impact on the site as a whole, as well as the bitcoin community. Bitcoin is becoming increasingly well-known, thanks to the fact that celebrities are already talking about it.
3863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave 100$ of Bitcoin to my elder brother as a gift on: February 15, 2022, 04:29:44 AM
Nice idea! For a few years now, I have regularly given friends and relatives a coldwallet for birthdays or holidays, if I know they are interested in crypto. For some of them, the immense increases in value of cryptocurrencies over the last few years have meant that they have built up a really good small fortune.

They are extremely grateful for this, I am confident of it, because they have already made a profit. Given the fact that I personally prefer to hold onto a physical gift rather than spend it because it serves as a remembrance, which is a good choice for holding onto over the course of the year or money, this is a better alternative to gifting a physical gift. That small fortune is a fantastic start, and it has the potential to persuade others to invest in bitcoin. I'm going to give this type of gift to one of my friends for their wedding and see how they react.
3864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 14, 2022, 06:12:50 PM
That is still a possibility in 2030, but we don't know what will happen in the following years or years after that. However, given the fact that the price of bitcoin is extremely volatile, it is possible that it will reach that level, which will please a large number of investors and holders. While this may be difficult if we are talking about a few years or more, it is still difficult because there are many things to do because the fiat should render it useless through higher inflations. However, I would be extremely pleased if this were to become legal tender in the near future.
3865  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: February 14, 2022, 09:32:01 AM
I developed PTSD after a coronavirus. It's a very scary thing and should definitely not be started. So I immediately started looking into what it is and what I should do about it. I found very good material here https://drmental.org/blog/ptsd on the subject and at least figured out what direction I needed to go to get over it. It was the only way I could get out of this creepy condition. I hope it's helpful for you as well.

Coronavirus came as a shock to the whole world and the impact was greatly felt, lots of people lost their loved ones as a result of the pandemic, it was a very hard blow for many people which caused trauma to many, it is good you are seeking medical advice and help on your issue,  that is the major step towards getting better, you should be persistent with the treatment so you can overcome the trauma.

Unfortunately, the world had to experience such a difficult moment, I was very scared because of the uncertainty of what will happen if things will ever be the same again, scared of getting it, but thankfully I or none of my family members contracted it.

It was a very traumatic experience for every family around the world. Unfortunately, our whole family has contacted it and we experienced all the worst symptoms of this virus but we're able to surpass it. What I have realized is, we have to stay optimistic during this crisis because if we'll be emotionally weak, our bodies will also be affected. I'm sure that this pandemic will be over soon and this too shall pass.

During the first phase of the pandemic it is very hard and scary because we don't know what to do the said virus is everywhere. We're worry about our family, children and our grandparents who have possibly taken by virus. We're emotionally, physically and financially stressed about it.
But, if we have Faith in God nothing is impossible , always pray and talk to him that we could passed this pandemic.
3866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 14, 2022, 07:59:07 AM
Well, I believe my recommendation is to give it a shot or to contact customer service. You have a very slim chance of getting your money back because it is against their terms of service, so your money is gone for good. What you should do now to give yourself some peace of mind is try to contact the support and explain the situation. We don't know if they allow it, but we'll try using a VPN to bypass their security, but if they do, it will only last a week before you're banned. So try to contact them via message and tell them the truth.
3867  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 14, 2022, 06:36:15 AM
Bitcoin and Fiat may have similarities and that is it in ability to store value, be a means of exchange etc, as for it's decentralized nature, it's majorly the feature of Bitcoin and so the should be no room for competition cause Fiat on the other round is being controlled and as such is centralized, they're both and wolll remain alternative for each other and not competitors.

Yeah, I agree with you, we are also using fiat when converting our bitcoin into our money because not all merchants are currently accepting bitcoin as a payment method, so for the time being, they are not rivals, but rather good friends because they have used each other's services. The future holds a high probability that our payment methods will change, such as becoming digitalized, such as bitcoin, or, similar to bitcoin, in which people will not use any physical money to spend and will instead only use their mobile devices to make purchases and payments.
3868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 14, 2022, 06:17:22 AM
As others have also suggested i would go with the same way of storing my btc for long term instead of gifting it to others at this time. You might not get good options with bitcoin than you could get it with fiat and some simple and nice gift would make her more happy than giving btc gifts.
In my country now since crypto gain popularity die to axie, some couples were buying axie token or account to ply it. I think if your love one is into crypto then giving bitcoin with some sort of note when sending ot will make it memorable. Like planning the future like may this bitcoin grow with us as we plan our future. Something like that or collectible coins. It will depend whether your partner knows what crypto is.

You have a valid point, but it is referred to as investment. You invest in something that has a high chance of increasing in value, for example, buying axie or SLP, which you know will increase in value at some point. There is nothing wrong with gifting it to others because it is a sign of love; however, innovation is preferred instead of giving things in the traditional way to celebrate Valentine's Day, it is preferable to be given it in the form of cryptocurrency, which I am confident will be appreciated

Of course, each of us will have individual problems when using such equipment. Since I haven't used it yet it's hard enough to talk about it, but watching movies in 3D I experienced some discomfort and after watching the movie I didn't feel very well. To be honest at the moment I am not even interested in trying these gadgets on myself.
Well it is obvious that the technology is not there yet, this is similar to what happened to the Internet, it became popular in the 90’s but it was way older than that, so it is possible that the technology is not years away of becoming a reality but decades away, so while many people will be unable to enjoy virtual reality due to the current limitations that we have in our technology, eventually the technology will become so advanced and comfortable that those problems will be a thing of the past.

Yeah, that's a fantastic word, and as technology advances year after year and humans become more inventive, it's possible that it will become a reality in the near future. Although it is possible that something will be discovered within a few years, at our current rate of progress and in light of what others have stated, it will take decades. Let's just enjoy the moment for what it is and make good use of the technology we have.
3870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 10, 2022, 01:36:24 PM
-snip-

I think Logan Paul is not on the table now, the last rumor was that Mike Tyson will fight Logan's younger brother, Jake Paul. Who is slowly making his name now in the industry with 5 wins and 4 of that was by a knockout. But as of now, Mike's side has already talked that there would be no fight as Mike will not step in the boxing ring anymore for good. Anyway, either if it's true or not, there's still no concrete announcement or evidence that either of this fight will happen.

I think Mike Tyson is fighting just for fun and probably doing it for charity so fighting Logan Paul is not an option since Jake Paul is up only for money but if Mike Tyson is fighting his younger brother I don't think it will happen too since it will be a professional boxing, I think Mike Tyson is looking for match between retired legendary boxer like him. Probably Evander Holyfield versus Mike Tyson is a good match up?

Mike will only fight for fun and to raise money for charity, and I agree with this, but I don't understand why people find it amusing to watch a celebrity fight on television. As for myself, I don't care for it. I haven't seen any Logan Paul fights, but I've heard about them on social media. Is it true that these fights are not fixed? It serves no purpose other than to show off and collect money, which I find perplexing to begin with. However, if this fight does take place, it will be my first experience watching this type of show-off event.
3871  Economy / Economics / Re: PEOPLE DURING THE PANDEMIC. on: February 10, 2022, 01:09:39 PM
The year 2021 has passed but it has left a mark that will never be erased in people’s minds. One of these is the pandemic that until now has not been ended and is being cured. Many of the entrepreneurs went bankrupt and closed their businesses. And many employees in various industries have lost their jobs. But even though the past year has been difficult for everyone, the people are still positive and resilient and will not lose hope of recovering.
I've seen numerous establishments especially those small and medium enterprises and businesses closing down because of bankruptcy due to this pandemic and I feel sorry for them. While watching news I was like "Ohhh f*ck this pandemic. It affected so much lives". On the other hand though, we've seen people did their everything just to survive. We've seen how resilient people are in times of pandemic and its good to see that even though we are in the pandemic last year, I still see some people smiling and thanking everyday because they are still surviving in this pandemic.

Many have worked randomly in various types of work, one of the jobs that are popular today is being a virtual assistant or jobs that can be done even if you are at home as long as you have a laptop or pc and internet. And also because of the ingenuity of people who spend more time using gadgets, more and more people are now obsessed with investing in cryptocurrencies. There are as many ways to earn here and most of it is by playing various NFT GAMES. It's very nice if this is your job, you already earning while enjoy playing, but it depends on your diligence and perseverance in playing how much you earn and of course, it also depends on your skill and strategy in the game.
TBH even though the pandemic didn't started yet, I'm already working from home and for sure many of us are. If you know how to use PC and you know how to utilize the internet then you're still good this pandemic because finding jobs online is easier than it is years ago already. There are many ways to earn online already either crypto related or not. We've seen old employees turned freelancers because of the pandemic. We've seen how people are good in finding ways just to have a source of income. As for me since you said already that "NFT games" already, I'm really happy that I learned certain skills that will help me in playing different games and I'm happier that I can earn extra income from it Smiley.

Agree, pandemic is very challenging to us because lots of jobs, restaurants, companies, businesses closed. This pandemic give us stressed and mental health issues but in the positive way we can find ways just to survive this pandemic like selling online, playing games, or even applying different companies.
Most of the people today ended work at home as possible because they are afraid of having that virus.
3872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Bitcoin on: February 10, 2022, 12:37:28 PM
One bitcoin is quite expensive now to acquire. Not everyone can afford to buy one bitcoin now, due to how expensive it is.
I commend you for having the mind of buying one bitcoin now there's an economic meltdown globally. One thing is certain your investment is safe and secure in your ledger wallet. Expect much profit in year's to come.

Yes, I agree with you on this. Given the price, that is a significant investment, and I am hoping that you will not be upset if the price drops as others have done with their purchases. Maintain your investment until you see a return on your initial investment. Simply set it aside and check it again after a year. Please store your ledger in a safe location where it will not be damaged or destroyed, as I've seen reports on social media claiming that people's ledgers have been burned or otherwise destroyed. Store it in a safe or any other low-risk area where I won't be able to damage or destroy it.
3873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Snooker Game on: February 10, 2022, 11:25:36 AM
The probability that there are professionals in snooker here is quite small, I think if you are interested in knowing about this sport, it would be better to join specialized communities (I think there are corresponding groups in any popular social networks). When discussing snooker in terms of betting, this is the right place, but I have not seen that betting on this sport is popular with bettors and bookmakers and that they offer a wide selection on such sporting events.

This was my first time hearing about this sport, so I did a quick internet search and assumed it was a water game or that it was played on water or ice, but I was mistaken; it is a ball game that is similar to billiards, though I am not familiar with the specific rules of that game. In addition, I agree that there are only a few people on this forum who are familiar with these games; however, I believe that this will pique their interest, and they will watch the games and attempt to place bets as a result of their curiosity.

May be. But it seems to me that most of the forum participants discuss sports here from the point of view of betting. Unfortunately, even very popular sports have little attention from crypto bookmakers and the chance to find a place to bet on them is small. For example, I led a topic dedicated to the match for the world chess title and despite the fact that this is a very popular sport, only some bookmakers accepted bets on this event and the choice of bets was very small.

That makes sense. Based on the amount of discussion here and the thread, I believe the majority of the members are passionate about well-known sports such as basketball, football, or Esports. Regarding the bets, I believe they rely heavily on their users to determine which games they are interested in; however, I do not have much information about that particular game because I am not placing a wager on it.. The e-sports scene is something I'm really into.
3874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 10, 2022, 08:17:38 AM
Unfortunately
nowadays there are so many newbies who are influenced by other people's opinions, especially if the person is a famous person and influencers
a lot of newbie are following.
Yes, influencers are indeed an attraction for beginners, especially for influencers who only display their profits. But they did not see the loss they suffered. From there, beginners can think of something extraordinary or just think about the benefits. In fact, in cryptocurrencies or any other investment there is always a risk.
Yes, following influencers is also okay, as long as (beginners) can choose good influencers to follow. Which provides in-depth education about cryptocurrencies. So they also want to learn, not just want to make an easy profit.

Yes, there are many influencers who are flexing their profits, but if they are losing money, they will not be vocal about it. When newbies see that kind of profit, they are immediately attracted to it. As a result, many newbies will jump in without any prior knowledge, resulting in losses. Although I believe that the majority of influencers always state that this is not financial advice and that you should invest at your own risk, I believe that you should also consider how this works and that it is not that easy to earn because cryptocurrency is a high-risk investment.
3875  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can you manage gambling addict by taking drugs? on: February 09, 2022, 06:14:27 PM
As for me, drugs or any type of medication would only be a band-aid solution. Gambling addiction could ruin even someone's health. It would be better if he would ask for professional help and start to control himself from too much gambling. The cure should start on himself. He must learn how to control his emotions and discipline himself. It's hard but he could take baby steps to release himself from this type of addiction.

This is not applicable to everyone because some people are unable to control their behavior and must seek assistance from others or enter a rehabilitation program. However, I recommend that you limit your time and frequency of gambling because this is the most common reason for addiction. Additionally, taking drugs can cause you to feel differently when you are gambling, increasing the likelihood that you will become addicted.
3876  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: February 09, 2022, 05:46:24 PM
Hodling works great if you want long term one instead of short term. About trading, I don't have much knowledge and experience about it since I did not do much trading before and doing technical analysis needs a lot of time where it is one of the important things to do to predict the price. In trading, you can do it daily which in my experience you can earn profit and also loss if the price suddenly decrease but mostly profit and much faster but with higher risk of losing profit.

Since trading is not something that can be learned overnight, technical analysis and fundamentals will take time. Others will need months or years to learn trading and develop their own strategy, which will take time. Without a sound business strategy in place, it is almost impossible to make money. Yes, you can make money regardless of whether the market is good or bad. Trading while holding is not beneficial unless you are making an investment. If you hold your trade for an extended period of time without setting a target profit or stop loss, you will suffer a significant loss.
3877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 09, 2022, 05:27:16 PM
^

I do not think that advertising activity can somehow be correlated with the legality of the gambling site. There are many gambling sites that have a controversial reputation and continue to arrange various bonus programs for users. In my opinion, it is better to pay attention to the reputation as it is quite difficult to earn and very easy to lose even in case of a few small cases of unfair play.
I think the same, while a heavy marketing campaign indicates a focus in that area from the casino it does not necessarily mean that is legitimate, as scammers could be bidding their time and act as honest people until they can get a whale to play on their casino and then scam them, so a heavy marketing strategy does not tell us if the people behind the casino will actually honor the bets you place at that casino.

I'm on you that heavy marketing is not part of a casino being good and worthy to play, we have seen that actually happening now one casino having massive marketing but at the same time having a lot of complaints from their players, players should always do their research, not all that glitters is gold always check independent reviews to see if the online casino is worth playing and what are the issues that confronts past and present.

To be sure, marketing is simply a strategy to attract customers or users, as this is the only way for them to generate profits. However, if the same is true of customer complaints, then this is an extremely serious issue. Users must conduct their own research in order to determine which website is the best. However, I believe that websites that have been in operation for a long period of time can be trusted; however, if you want to discover new websites, you will need to conduct a great deal of research.

3878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gave 100$ of Bitcoin to my elder brother as a gift on: February 09, 2022, 05:18:13 PM
Waw you have really tried for your brother, he might not know the usefulness of what you have done for him now but I believe definitely he will appreciate you later in the future, but you also made a mistake which I will advise you to correct exchange wallet address is not the best place to keep coins, the best thing you should do now is just to create a non custodial wallet for him then transfer the bitcoin to the wallet and make sure he sure his private key.

I agree with this because the exchange will close in a few years, so just to be safe, create a custodial wallet or a hard wallet if you have the financial means to do so. That $100 is a significant sum of money and a good start for your brother, whether he or she recognizes it or not, because it may well save his or her future as a result of it. I believe this is a fantastic idea for saving money as well, and I believe I would send this type of money or use bitcoin to do so because it has the potential to accumulate over time and the price will rise, making it a good investment.
3879  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 09, 2022, 04:27:16 AM

Bitcoin 12 years ago was is not used widely but only to those who are really looking forward to seeing its future use. And then a few years later it was demonized as only for criminals online and gamblers. I guess Wikipedia was just not prepared to be demonized like Wikileaks.

Couldn't complain about what it could have been if they did start early but they still can start now. Times changed. We now see how important to have a currency that is not confiscatable by private companies like Paypal.

Acceptable, 12 years ago the real purpose of bitcoin was to pay online at low fees and also quickly, then later on it went on a bull run, and after that bitcoin became known because it is said to be used in illegal transactions on the deep web, such as buying guns and drugs, which is demoralizing because if we talk bitcoin at that time it was like illegal, but now that the price has reached another ATH, people's views of bitcoin have changed and they are eager to invest in bitcoin.
3880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO COFFEE & CRYPTO MENU on: February 09, 2022, 02:46:53 AM
This cafe's owner is a big fan of cryptocurrency, and he also had a good idea when he decided to open it. Crypto is extremely popular right now, and the cafe's unique name has the potential to attract a lot of customers. It was just a satisfying feeling to see that they are already accepting cryptocurrency as a form of payment, and that the cafe's theme is based on cryptocurrency. I know for a fact that the people who buy from them or like to chat in their cafe are all interested in cryptocurrency and how they can make money from it. He should also be receiving a large number of tips through cryptocurrency, as well.
