3881  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin in for another low? on: May 03, 2018, 09:07:47 AM
I would say that they are only correlated in as far as they have both been in long-term bull trend since the 2008 financial crises. Although those bull trends are fuelled for very different reasons. If you look at shorter timescales you will find that turning points happen at different times because the markets are driven by very different fundamentals.

For instance, the turning point at the $20k peak in BTC came on 17/12/2017 (the day CME futures opened) fuelled by peak FOMO whereas the stock markets turned on 26/01/2018 on geopolitical tensions (Trump/Syria/Russia) and fears on a tariff trade war.

3883  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Tax friendly country in Europe on: May 03, 2018, 08:04:16 AM
A decent accountant with a speciality can help a lot as well. For instance, opening a company in a tax haven that owns the mining equipment and rents it to another company where it is physically located can shift the profit to where it attracts less taxation.
3884  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a New Forum board "SCAM ALERT" on: May 03, 2018, 07:48:17 AM
Sadly literally any DT member/s can tag the account if the accuser has convincing evidence towards the accused. And I don't think someone can be dragged down in something they haven't not done because the accuser needs sufficient and convincing evidence before even any member believe on what they are saying. And if someone gets tagged wrongly they will have the chance to defend themselves and getting the red tag off is possible as even though trust is not moderated DT members are fair to the system.

DT is a completely different subject to the OP of this thread. The trust system is indeed unmoderated and most people are unaware that they can customise their own trust network. Use the ~ character in front of any DT member whose judgement you disagree with and you will not see their ratings by default anymore.

That has no bearing on whether or not the Scam Accusations board should be censored.
3885  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a New Forum board "SCAM ALERT" on: May 03, 2018, 07:29:00 AM
How's that  thread being moderated? What are the basis of scam accusations Someone might drag anyone down by posting him there. If there are evidences then how will the moderator know if it's legit

Anyone making a scam accusation needs to use the format described in the sticky thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0 and include the relevant evidence.

Then the accused and anyone else interested can reply and challenge that evidence. It is down to anyone reading to then come to their own decision as to the validity of the claim. It is not the moderator's job to censor.

I pay my salary and I will always agree with her. you can not worry. Grin Cool As I said I have more than 100,000 subscribers to YouTube, 99% of them are grateful to me. I teach people not only fauchet devastated, but also properly invest this money, so that they bring income.

Good for you that you also have an honest income. That doesn't excuse you for being a dishonest cheat and a parasite.

3887  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: A critique on the Lightning Network from a regular poster. Long. on: May 03, 2018, 06:10:57 AM
But, for the sake of discussion, that it were true. What then makes "Bitcoin Core" the real Bitcoin? Is it the chain with the most Proof of Work? The most in market cap? Or is it the one that has the biggest community?

From a non-technical standpoint, I would argue this is the most important factor. The continuation of use by the vast majority at the time Bcash split away validates Bitcoin as the continuation of the original chain and not just another fork of it. The 'real Bitcoin' cannot die.
I don't think it will ever happen but if another coin ever did overtake Bitcoin in adoption that wouldn't make it Bitcoin. There needs to be a continuation of the chain and the most used side of any fork at the time of the fork is the original.

You are so road, Mr. TMAN.

But is he the M27 or the A3?

Well, sorry for being ONLY a bounty hunter and for being the CANCER of this forum.

Try to be something else then.
3890  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 02, 2018, 03:46:56 PM
Well, you basically backed up what I said. You are a normal Freebitco.in member with some added responsibilities. {I hope

they are paying you for all the shit you have to deal with}  Wink

I've been here since the site began but just finished my first month on the payroll. I can confirm I got paid.

I think solosss got the message that Freebitco.in is more

than a gambling site for millions of people,  but more like a community support network to support Bitcoin. It started out as

a faucet and then it also added a "Charity Donations" feature on request and now it had to resort to Gambling to survive.  Wink

solosss hasn't got a clue about very much. This was a faucet funded by advertising with 0% house edge dice game just for fun. Then greedy selfish f***s like him came along with bots and ruined it for everyone by forcing the house edge to be added. He's not even smart enough to realise what a jerk we all think he is. When he starts his anti-gambling nonsense blaming casinos for being greedy he comes across as one of those people that have convinced themselves to believe the lie so they can live with their conscience.
3891  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 02, 2018, 03:15:01 PM
Yes, obviously. Apart from people who abused the system, I think those who have increased their level in April can be counted in one hand, especially from the full member rank onwards.

It takes 4 months to for a Full Member to get the activity to get to Sr. and another 8.5 months to get to Hero so I don't find it surprising that only a few made it in the mere 3 months the system has been in place. The system was also designed to prevent the majority of spammers members ranking up. Give it a full year and see how many people that deserved to rank up haven't yet.

I do agree with your last post that if only 21k was spent then that does need to be addressed. I said a few pages back that I think there is too much work being done by too few sources.
3892  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 02, 2018, 02:36:47 PM
What do you think about the need to decrease the merit requirement now that the airdop is almost done? Do we need it?
How many users has ranked up this month?

Increasing the number of merit sources makes more sense than decreasing any requirements. I haven't seen the actual stats on ranking up, but I know I and few others did it in much less time than it takes to get the activity.

As it is only the 2nd of May did you mean last month?
3893  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for 0,5 BTC on: May 02, 2018, 02:14:13 PM
Hello thank u for the Info, for the safety we have Escrow Service and contract

Unless you have something worth 0.5 BTC the escrow can hold it isn't going to happen. As I already said you have posted this on the wrong board, so please move it before it gets deleted.
3894  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for 0,5 BTC on: May 02, 2018, 02:09:24 PM
You need to move this. Loans are on the Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Lending board.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0

You'll need some collateral to borrow that much without any history here.
3895  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: May 02, 2018, 10:06:34 AM
here is working if i try.. could you or someone else please try again? Thanks

Not verifying for me in Electrum either. There are a lot of compatibility issues with Segwit addresses. Do you have a legacy address to stake with?
3896  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 02, 2018, 09:27:06 AM
I wanted to ask how are you doing, what's new? not have you come up with something new?

I'm doing great. If you mean have I come up with anything new for freebitco.in then that's not my job. I just do crowd control and passing on information about customers with real issues.
3897  Other / Meta / Re: Let's see what is the condition now.. on: May 02, 2018, 08:40:52 AM
Sorry to bother you. I just wanted to know the current thoughts about merit for which I posted a poll. That's all.

Why didn't you just read the hundreds of threads that everyone has already expressed an opinion in? That would tell you the current thoughts.
3898  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: May 02, 2018, 08:14:19 AM
Are you going to credit the new MoneroV coins? The snapshot is here.

ROFL. They may have started to add many shitcoins but I don't think they are going to lower their standards that far.

They announced 3 new coins yesterday but that didn't make the list. http://blog.bitfinex.com/
3899  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 02, 2018, 07:53:06 AM
TheQuin  as the bored with you, have come up with that any new?

What are you trying to say? Have you just worked out that trolling is pointless and boring?
3900  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Price in banner of bitcointalk on: May 02, 2018, 07:44:52 AM
Like we have this in the banner "News: Latest stable version of Bitcoin Core: 0.16.0"
We know its available on official site bitcoin.org, but still its handy

That's a news banner that is updated when either a new version of Core comes out or there is a major security issue that we need to be made aware of. That provides a useful function and saves people having to check for updates frequently. The exchange rate changes constantly and there are many ways to constantly monitor it if anyone wants to. As a trader, I do that by always having tradingview.com open in a window and I can see the price on my taskbar. I think anyone that wants to monitor the price will already be doing that and adding it to the forum would just add clutter for people that don't care about it.
