Grin

Pojavi se Mujo pred sudijom zbog prijave obiteljskog nasilja. I pita ga sudija:
- Reci Mujo, odakle ti ta velika modrica na oku?
Mujo mu odgovora:
- Fata me pogodila sa paradajzom.

Europski (SEPA -CRO) transferi nikad nisu problem.

Posle naporne radne nedelje, zena pita svog muza:
- Sjajna ideja, odgovara muz. Onda, vidimo se u ponedeljak?

Loše sam ipak pogodio. $40k smo dosegli 3 mjeseca ranije. Nikad od mene Vidovitog Milana.  Undecided

Smiley

You're giving me a headache as I try to figure out your posts. Wink

If you want the help of the members of this forum, I recommend that you be as concise and factual as you can. Try to describe roughly what you did, step by step, and what the result of your actions were. Feel free to post your addresses here, too. This does not pose a danger to you and will make it easier for us to figure out what exactly happened to your coins.

I see that TGD and Rodeo02 are still on the list of DT2 members. I think their judgment should not be trusted.

According to LoyceV's Trust list viewer, both are included by Coin_trader who is in DT1 members group. Probably some local loyalism, as I can see that they're all posting in the Philippine local section. But yeah, you're right, alt accounts with a history of cheating on the forum shouldn't be part of the DT group, imho.
3888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Development in Bitcoin on: January 10, 2021, 10:56:47 AM
I only have the slightest idea about Lightning Network but I am pretty sure that some wallet such as Electrum, bluewallet and Eclair have supported the use of Lightning transaction. Although I still not tried them yet.

Yeah, BlueWallet is great. I downloaded it for the first time when I needed a wallet for the Lightning Network. Before that, I was trying to open an LN channel in Electrum and wasted a couple of dollars on fees, but without success. I don't get it why they have to complicate things so much. Since then, BlueWallet has been on my smartphone and ready for small transactions via LN.
3889  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do I pay capital gain tax on trades if don't cash out? on: January 10, 2021, 10:38:18 AM
Ugh sorry 1st post rookie here!  I am in the USA.  So it sounds like the moment I sell and make a profit I will be taxed even if I don't cash out.  It's not a huge amount if that matters.  (around 30k)

Yes. Selling a capital asset (in this case cryptocurrency) higher than the purchasing price results in a capital gain. These include: short-term capital gains (the result of the sale of capital assets owned for a year or less) or long-term capital gains (the result of the sale of capital assets owned for more than one year). Short-term capital gains are taxed as regular income, and long-term capital gains are subject to capital gain tax of 0%, 15%, or 20%.

You have everything nicely explained at: https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/101515/comparing-longterm-vs-shortterm-capital-gain-tax-rates.asp
3890  Economy / Reputation / Re: [LIST] ANN threads that are using bumping services on: January 10, 2021, 10:18:43 AM
As I said, it looks like them but I can't be 100 sure that they are behind Upwork bumping but in the end it doesn't matter much who exactly is doing that.

Exactly. It doesn't matter who does this, but it is important to identify and publicly denounce those projects. This is not marketing, but a scammy behavior, and no serious project is going to act like that.
It's just as bad as plagiarizing a white paper or having a fake project team. It's really good that you keep this topic up to date.
3891  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do I pay capital gain tax on trades if don't cash out? on: January 09, 2021, 11:32:23 PM
Hi Folks!  I am a HODL'er and all of my bitcoin is on my Ledger wallet.  If I move it all back onto my exchange and sell it for a profit before the next big dip, then buy low a few weeks later and then move it all back immediately to my cold wallet, do I get taxed even though I am not cashing out?  Thank you all.

 Huh

You forgot to mention the location where you live. Not all countries are collecting capital gains tax, and most have different tax rates as well as different laws and regulations regarding cryptocurrencies.
The general rule that applies in most 'crypto-friendly' countries is that holders need to calculate their gain or loss when they dispose of their crypto assets to figure out whether they need to pay capital gains tax or not.
3892  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: January 09, 2021, 10:47:45 PM
Will Bitcoin mining be profitable in the long term? Say 5-10 years?

The age-old question. Now at the next halving, it’s only 3+ BTC per new block. Halved. But if we’re looking at mining being profitable at 6+ BTC when it was around $10,000 then it stands to reason it’ll be profitable for 4 more years after the next halving at $20k. Which we are way beyond now. So that’s at least 7 years more of profitable mining.

In my view, mining is going to be profitable for at least some of the miners, whatever the price. Especially if that someone pays a low fee for the electricity.
Of course, large mining farms will always have an advantage (bulk equipment buying, competitive electricity rates, more efficient infrastructure).

Anyone here knows where I can find the genuine schematics of a 5G brain-altering chip that is injected into people who get the COVID-19 vaccine?
All I can find online is the fake guitar pedal thingy.  Cheesy
3894  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: What will be the ATH in 2021? on: January 09, 2021, 09:39:35 PM
The CEO of the US Binance branch, Catherine Coley, sees the ongoing bull run as an indication that the most popular cryptocurrency could reach a price of up to $100,000 by 2022.
I tend to agree with her.

"Where maybe we thought maybe $50,000 made sense, this number is definitely going to be a little bit higher than that in my opinion."
"I think we’re going towards $75,000 to $100,000 for Bitcoin by the end of 2021."

That means that your whole shit-hole country runs on IMF and World Bank money.  That in turn means that your leaders are bought-n-paid-for bitches to a man/woman.

I never said that I was living in a shit-hole country. I don't know where you got that from. Wink
You jump to the wrong conclusion on the basis of incomplete information. Basically, much like almost everything you've said in this thread.
3897  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: January 09, 2021, 07:13:22 PM
Gates owns your country's health department too.  If he (or his WHO) says to report certain numbers, they report those numbers.

Interesting how you guys don't like the term conspiracy theories. Looks like we need to broaden our dictionaries as I don't know if there's a term that would better describe what I'm reading here.

By the way, I doubt Gates can find my country on a world map...
3898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 09, 2021, 06:57:20 PM
I think 2021 will be the year of cryptocurrencies. Only at the beginning of January, the price of Bitcoin has already crossed 40k and became an all-time high. Ethereum has risen to the price of 2018 and, according to forecasts, should increase even more. And it's only the beginning of the year!!

Elon musk i think posted on his twitter supporting one dogecoin. So imagine a billionaire in support of cryptocurrencies. Banks will eventually find ways to monetize cryptos on transactions.

When Elon Musk called on his followers on Twitter to "use Signal" he meant an application for encrypted messages, but some people apparently took that completely differently.
Shares of an unrelated company called "Signal Advance" rose more than 600%, raising the price from 60 cents to $7.19. Grin

The organization behind the Signal Messaging app published Twitter status on Friday to make it clear that it had nothing to do with Signal Advance.

3899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: January 09, 2021, 06:33:25 PM
As it stands currently, there is a high chance of BTC hitting magical 50k by the end of month. If everything goes by the play, it'll cross 100k mark at least once by december 2021.

Assuming the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates at zero for a few more years, virtual currencies, especially bitcoin, will continue to gain new fans. JP Morgan has set a bold long-term price target for the Bitcoin. They claim that this popular cryptocurrency could rise to as much as $146,000 because it competes with gold as an "alternative" currency.

According to the portal Our World in Data,
...

Funded by grants from the Bill and Melvin Gates Foundation of course.  Just so you know.

Irrelevant to this discussion. Or do you believe the Gates Foundation has something to do with the covid-19 pandemic?

Btw, I have checked the data for my country. They match.
