What a crazy game, the TB offense played fine but they made too many mistakes, the TB defense on the other hand had too many injuries at safety and Dallas took advantage of it and passed the ball all the time, this played against me as I was thinking on starting Hunt but at the end decided to start Elliott and he did absolutely nothing, fortunately for me Gronk saved me with 21 fantasy points coming from my weakest position, so I still have a chance to win the first game.

Also Gus Edwards is out for the season, such a bad luck for the guy as he had a golden opportunity to show what he had, for me it is not as devastating as it could have been as I picked him on the 6th round, but he was without a doubt my biggest hope to try to win the league.

Cornerback going out in the beginning of the game opened it up for the girls.  Dak picked on him all game.  The bucs, first game they will clean that up for sure.  What this showed me was with almost double the possession and getting 4 turnovers they still couldn't beat the bucs.  Normally if you post those 2 stats it's a blowout by the one team.  Zeke looked absolutely terrible.  Now Collins their starting rt is out 5 games for getting busted.  Don't think the girls are as good as everyone thinks.  Can see 7-10, 8-9 from them.

Fantasy experts, would I have collected more points for Antonio Brown if he was not on the bench?

Also, if I want to make a trade, can I pick any player or can I only pick a player that has been picked by the members in our league?

@suchmoon. Agreed. However, it was not good for anyone who picked the Cowboy’s kicker hehe.

No the points you see for your guys on the bench are the same if you would have started them.  Brown is going off.  If you want a player that no one owns you can drop one of your players and add them onto.your team.  If someone else owns a player you want then you will have to propose a trade with them.

Oldie but a goodie!

Damn the Raven are fucked 3 Starting RB's out for the season before opening kickoff, that has to be a record!

I just scooped up Bell in another league.

Bad luck S.Park but you'll push through I'm sure.

Taco Corp Scooped up Ty'Son Williams

Lamar is going to get all the meaningful rushes in the red zone.  They aren't going to lean on a 3rd/4th running back in goal to go situations when you got Lamar.  Definately a wierd fantasy situation now in that backfield.
3884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 09, 2021, 11:40:26 PM

IMO, if I'm the team owner, I would rather move him for a lesser value than seeing him struggle in a team because he doesn't want to play anymore, I mean his heart is not anymore in the team, so there's no way the team will succeed, and despite his talent, he could only become a liability of the team as he will not be as motivated as he was before.

But same sentiment with the post you just quoted, it's business and Sixers management is not willing to let him go without the same value they demand a lot for him, I just read an article that Cavs and Wolves are both interested but don't have that capabilities to provide the demand coming from Sixers management.

Even they are showing such interest without giving what being ask from them, there's no deal that will happen.

And like you, I would rather see him go with lesser value, and train players that will replace him, than keep him inside the team without any interest  giving help, it's worthless.

But at least they showed their interest, and with the number of offers, 76ers could potentially review the offers and will get the best among the teams that made an offer even if it's lower than what they are expecting. Having Ben Simmons on the team could be detrimental to the future of the team if they are not playing on the same page, the good relationship is very important to maintain, for his teammates and the team and it looks like it's not what is happening now.

Ben isn't going to be as detrimental as playing another point guard.  Anyone they get in return will.lower the technical quality.  The kid had a bad series for sure but cmon.  He isn't throwing in the towel.  You don't know the ins and outs of the dynamics.  Who is going to play point for Philly that will make them better without Ben?  Not much to go on.

I think what his saying is that if by chance Ben is still in the Sixers uniform this season, he may want to sit it out and doesn't want to play. Or if he plays, we won't see him pushing himself 100% as he had already a bad relationships with the management and players as well. I remember reading news that he is not answering any calls from the players including Joel. So I interpret it as animosity between Ben and his team mates already and it will not result to a good chemistry and locker room huddle.

He ain't sitting out.  Dude has  $33 million owed to him this year.  Mark my words if he is on the roster he will be on the 15 person roster.  I will take any bet on that one right there.  I get the point.  But this isn't old.  Kobe and Shaq "didn't get along".  Long history of teammates not getting along but when it's court time its time to go.

If you have been following the market lately ethereum has been showing some sign of bullish nature even when Bitcoin was struggling around 47k what can we expect as ethereum finally reaches $4,000 is ethereum taking over the market from Bitcoin what are your opinions on the present cryptocurrency market condition?

Nah if bitcoin tanks so will eth you can be sure of that.  Always has always will, no matter what people want to hear eth is just another altcoin.  In the past bitcoin dips so does eth.  Bitcoin controls the entire market momentum up or down.

I saw Cake at 0.5 and thought that was overrated, after all, a financial project called "Pancake" with a token called "Cake" couldn't be serious. I followed it for 1 month and when I saw it, it shot to 8 dollars, so I waited for it to fall and bought the 6. It was one of the best moves I made, but still, I ended up missing the timing, because it reached 40 dollars and I ended up selling it at 15, in that insane fall

Of course ypu can't look just by the name, would you invest in a stock of a company just because of its name?  Is it not standard to know what you are buying into.  Anyone who buys something purely on name will surely lose their money eventually.

Hi,

I made CATECOIN (cateco.in) from NANO and I would like to list it somewhere, so people who will get it will know what they can buy for it or how much they can pay their friends for something.
Can you advice me how or recommend where?

CATECOIN is about to be distributed for FREE from faucet (still working on that) with max supply of 340million coins only.
We want this coin to be used for payments (no fees and instant payments)

For now you can create wallet (wallet.cateco.in), send me address on hi@cateco.in and I will send you some coins.
You can also follow me on twitter to get news @CatamotoCatoshi

Have a nice day Smiley

Have to hit the grind and get a hold of all the exchanges.  They generally don't do it for free.  Be prepared to be asked for a sum of money.  No exchange usually means no real worth since no one can sell/buy it.  Good luck with your project hopefully it's not just another unneeded coin.

That's harsh. A player's overall cannot be seen by just his offensive flaws.
He got good stats on his defense including blocks, steals, and rebounds which is difficult to find with every player. Most of this new era players just think about how good they are at outside shooting.
Yeah, he definitely has defensive skills, but it is not enough. I mean, it's not normal that a player with a salary of more than $30 mln per season can't shoot, and he didn't even try to improve it.

And if Simmons are not traded, for sure he will sit out the rest of the season
I guess Simmons probably won't return to the 76ers even if they can't trade him before the start of the season.

If they don't trade him he will be there day 1.  He is owed $33 million next year you don't think he would walk away from that and ruin his nba career do you.  It is a business and he isn't going to leave that on the table.  Honestly I don't even see the sixers moving him.  Tes will low ball them and no way you take a low ball offer on the kid.  He is still way young and is one of the best point guards in the league.

If he was really the problem for the 76ers on why they did not succeed last season, then the 76ers will have no choice but to trade him, however, since other teams see that he was traded because he is a problem on offense, they will use that so 76ers will lower their demand on the trade, and I think they were successful as until now Ben Simmons is still with the roster.

Again it's a business if they don't get good value for him they won't move him.  They aren't just going to let him go for nothing.  He is a REALLY good young player.  You don't just lose those pieces.  I would love for him to be on the knicks but not at the expense of a bunch of future picks.  My guess is signs will be the starting point guard for the sixers next year.

@Hueristic. Agreed. However, I know I was not going to win when I joined this fantasy league vs. you experts hehe. I only wanted to try and bring more excitement for this season. I also cannot stop checking my team and read the news. NFL news has replaced my addiction for cryptonews hehehehe.

@wheelz1200.
You need to think of Fantasy Football in the same way we think about poker, poker is a game of skill in which luck is a prominent factor while chess is a game of skill in which the luck factor is not present at all in the game itself, so even a newbie can beat a world champion at poker as long as they hit the right cards, but if we let them play for long enough eventually the skill of the best player will show up and they will win, Fantasy is the same, we are at a disadvantage but a few lucky breaks could be all what is needed to win the whole thing.

Edit: And just like that my luck has taken a turn for the worse as Gus Edwards suffered a knee injury and it seems it is serious.

Wow guys down for the count that isn't good.  They are down to their 3rd and 4th stringers.  You can probably bet Lamar will be the run game.  He should probably be good for 40-80 yards rushing per game and get a lot of red zone run designed plays.  Health is a huuuuge part of the ff season.  Sorry to hear SP.

This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?

Or do I only sell a portion of what I have and hold the rest for another 4 years. Reason I am asking is could XRP and VET continue to rise once the bull run ends ? I obviously don’t want to sell all my tokens to find they are continuing to rise in a bear market

What are your thoughts ?

Nah keep stacking.  Go in intervals and dca down if need be, keep stacking sats no matter what.  In the end you will be sitting fine.  Trying to time markets is what gets everyone burned and earns very few a good deal.  Missed opportunities, tax ramifications, etc.

Opening night is finally here! Finally nfl off-season is officially over.  Got the bucs heavy in this one.  Dak coming off injury and first start back with his best olineman not playing.  I can see some dust coming from Dallas.  And we'll ypu can never bet against a Brady team especially on superbowl winning first ge of the year.  Wonder how many past superbowl winners lost their first game. 🤔
3895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 09, 2021, 02:40:23 PM
Dame-Ben pairing could work for Blazers to remain a playoff contender team but I doubt they will go beyond what Dame-CJ reached so far. I also think it's a downgrade for Portland if the trade is just 1-1. Blazers has to demand one more player as CJ is a more complete player than Ben.

I don't think Portland would get more than Ben Simmons.  They are different players but cj isn't a level above Ben at this point.  It would give Portland a different dynamic.  Don't know if it would work but they have to try something.  Personally it would be blow it up or nothing.  Blow it up hope to land a couple young stars in the next couple drafts with high draft picks.  The way the team is constructed they won't ever be more than 3-4 at best  in the west.
3896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time for all ALTcoin on: September 09, 2021, 01:49:57 AM
Good season for all altcoin
I have noticed this year has been so Good for all altcoin since from 2018/19 after the 2017 bloody season many project has been struggling to survive from the pains, 2020 would have been another favorable year but Covid-19 bounce each an everyone's door causing another great challenges, some of project that would have launched early 2020 folded and waiting for the air to clear so while many plans were delayed but this year every project seems to bounced back, what a great year!
i called this year a year of Doge  Roll Eyes

And how do you see this year?

Honestly I think alts are going to take somewhat of a hit.  2022 might be a bad year.  This run up has been insane in tes of percentage increases.  With the market going sideways people might get itchy and start taking some profits.  It won't continually go up and in the past Bears have come real hard, don't know if this will be any different.  A lot of speculative trading going on right now.
3897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto dip today on: September 09, 2021, 01:45:00 AM
As expected 10-15% dip happened to almost all coins.Im surprised to see XRP 15% dip, btc only 10%.
How far will it go down ? Huh

Why are you surprised xrp dipped 15%.  Most alts dump harder than bitcoin at least in usd.  Bitcoin goes down in usd and if alts go down even 1 sat they go down more in usd since most alts are paid against bitcoin.
3898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 09, 2021, 01:43:23 AM
I saw a rumor today that Portland is looking into trading CJ McCollum for Ben Simmons to pair with Dame. That would be an interesting pairing in my eyes, but Dame and CJ are best friends so I’m not sure how true that is. I can’t see Dame giving the OK to Portland to ship off one of his best friends.

It will be somewhat odd and ironic if CJ will be the one to be traded. CJ defended Dame in his social media accounts and telling that Dame will stay with Portland, I also don't like that move from Portland, Dame + CJ looks solid in my opinion, it's just the role players that needs to be upgraded so that Portland will be a championship bound team. No need to break the chemistry between their superstars.

Agreed.  Only way I'd break it up is if you get a massive haul of draft picks.  Then it might make sense.  I wouldn't dump Dame though.  Dude is evil on the court.  Probably no one else I'd want to have the ball in their hands needing 2-3 points at the end of the game.
3899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 09, 2021, 01:39:46 AM
This might be a bad season for my team hehe. Much of the players I chose were based on the information from watching videos of Stephen Smith and Skip Bayless talking about the NFL on youtube. Also, is trading players allowed in fantasy? Who wants Stafford and a Lambo?

Meh it's somewhat based on luck too.  Which of the round 8-15 picks end up overacheiving.  Avoiding injuries like Caffrey, saquan, Michael Thomas last year.  Cost people their first rounders.  I had zeke and when dak went down zeke stunk.  By week 4-5 you will no where you are.
3900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 09, 2021, 12:29:05 AM
Who drafted Jared Goff?

Still available, you should definitely dump your bench warmer Rodgers for Goff Grin

Actually I think Goff has a great arm and pocket presence but the lions line is pure garbage so he could be a threat if they nail that down (and the D is atrocious) also Kupp and Woods are massively more talented than Jones and Golladay.

I can't agree with you here on this one.  Golladay has proven IMHO to be a better receiver than both Woods and Kupp.  That guy is a superstar type receiver where Woods and Kupp are studs, but I would not say stars. I do agree that Kupp and Woods are better receivers than Marvin Jones but not by a ton. He's had a very solid career himself.

I'm not sure I would call Stephen A. Smith an expert at anything other than being a loud mouth obnoxious ass commentator.  I have never found him or his old buddy Skip Bayless to be anything more than a clown show.

Yup, they are right up there with that Moron Mathew Berry.

I'll never understand how these idiots can make a living off of being wrong all the time?

Thank you!!!!  It absolutely amazes me that people listen to these complete buffoons.  They are loud and obnoxious and always wrong like you said.  I really despise Stephen A.  Stephen and Skips show was one of the all time worst sports shows.  I can't respect any show that will argue a counter point just for the sake of not agreeing.  It honestly bothers me that people listen to these idiots  Cheesy

You are also dead about about Matthew Berry!! He's a complete moron.  If you do the opposite of what he says you're likely good to go.  He has even admitted before that the only reason he has that job, or got that job is because of his sister and brother in law whom are in the business and helped him get it.  I can't stand that fantasy show on Sunday mornings, he ruins it.

Matthew berry lol.  He definately sits at the bottom of his fantasy league year after year.  People like him sway the rankings and year in year out they are wrong.  This year will be no different.  There will be complete busts in the 2/3 round and there will be steals in the late rounds.  Imagine drafting James Robinson or Justin Jefferson late and tagging them with Josh Allen last year.  Same this year, beery is a buffoon.
