This might be a bad season for my team hehe. Much of the players I chose were based on the information from watching videos of Stephen Smith and Skip Bayless talking about the NFL on youtube. Also, is trading players allowed in fantasy? Who wants Stafford and a Lambo?

You'll learn as the season progresses, there really is no substitute to watching game with your own eyes. Pundits are generally not that bright and you have to actually root around to find the gems. I think the high profile guys are just trying to hype up guys for the fanbase and don't actually do any research.

We had high hopes for him to be the rookie phenom to carry Washington to the playoffs -- well they did get to the Wild Card round in 2015. Opening night is finally here! Finally nfl off-season is officially over.  Got the bucs heavy in this one.  Dak coming off injury and first start back with his best olineman not playing.  I can see some dust coming from Dallas.  And we'll ypu can never bet against a Brady team especially on superbowl winning first ge of the year.  Wonder how many past superbowl winners lost their first game. 🤔

Actually I think Goff has a great arm and pocket presence but the lions line is pure garbage so he could be a threat if they nail that down (and the D is atrocious) also Kupp and Woods are massively more talented than Jones and Golladay.

I can't agree with you here on this one.  Golladay has proven IMHO to be a better receiver than both Woods and Kupp.  That guy is a superstar type receiver where Woods and Kupp are studs, but I would not say stars. I do agree that Kupp and Woods are better receivers than Marvin Jones but not by a ton. He's had a very solid career himself. 

I'm not sure I would call Stephen A. Smith an expert at anything other than being a loud mouth obnoxious ass commentator.  I have never found him or his old buddy Skip Bayless to be anything more than a clown show.

I remember opening day of the season for the Cowboys last year and they got massacred and I think it was in their own stadium as well.
Coming off of injury is tough especially for a quarterback, cause they need to have nerves of steel to release at that last second before getting pulverized by those on coming defensive linebackers.
Even Brady put in his two-cents on the discussion on Dak and him coming off of a career ending injury like that.

I always thought Kirk got let down by the Washington organization and he played respectable. I don't ever remember seeing him behind a line there where he had over a second and a half.

Anyway, i'm super pumped for tonight's game, i see the Bucs win by a touchdown in a high-scoring affair. The loss of Zack Martin is a huge blow for the Cowboys, but i still think they can manage to put points on the board. I'm considering a few prop bets but haven't made up my mind yet, the most likely play for me is Mike Evans Anytime Score.

A least he's providing some fun content for us. I want what he thinks when he talks about the rankings. Maybe he just thinks that he should make one doesn't matter what are the odds. Of course, people can be wrong but maybe not like this guy. Now giving him even the benefit of the doubt seems doubtful. Dammit I thought about it yesterday when it was 7 but was too lazy to set it up and 9 is a big jump from 7 for a prime time game. They tend to be close to keep the fans happy not that I think the refs are managing the score or anything.

You need to think of Fantasy Football in the same way we think about poker, poker is a game of skill in which luck is a prominent factor while chess is a game of skill in which the luck factor is not present at all in the game itself, so even a newbie can beat a world champion at poker as long as they hit the right cards, but if we let them play for long enough eventually the skill of the best player will show up and they will win, Fantasy is the same, we are at a disadvantage but a few lucky breaks could be all what is needed to win the whole thing.


Edit: And just like that my luck has taken a turn for the worse as Gus Edwards suffered a knee injury and it seems it is serious.

Wow guys down for the count that isn't good.  They are down to their 3rd and 4th stringers.  You can probably bet Lamar will be the run game.  He should probably be good for 40-80 yards rushing per game and get a lot of red zone run designed plays.  Health is a huuuuge part of the ff season.  Sorry to hear SP.
