As a headline, it looks w o n d e r f u l. But inside... at least the Strike part I don't like, since from what I know Strike is custodial wallet. But I also hope for better, since it does tell: "for now". For now, Twitter users will need a Strike account to receive tips in Bitcoin. PS. It's also nice that you've changed the OP from a simple link to something more meaningful ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Yes of course, its just you were super quick with your post 🤪

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/business/twitter-beta-testing-bitcoin-lightning-tipping-serviceTwitter is now testing the ability to tip users in Bitcoin through Jack Maller’s lightning network app Strike. The Bitcoin developments at Twitter follow through with promises by CEO Jack Dorsey made in July. It was implied then that Bitcoin would be enabled in the Tip Jar service. He suggested also that Bitcoin could be used for Super Follows, Commerce and Subscriptions. This is very interesting news about potential developments over on Twitter. This goes another step to "normalising" Bitcoin for the masses or at least those on Twitter. This will also mean that if initiated on Twitter we will be able to tip the BitcoinTalkShow account !! https://twitter.com/BtcTalkShow?s=09

Yes thats something to drop a set so early on in the tournament for Djokovic. I dont fancy any matches in todays mens side other than Felix AA and I have a parlay on with Medvedev, Rublev, Osaka and Krejcikova. I also have a good few bets on Jabeur, Muguruza, Azarenka, Sabalenka and Kerber on the womens side.
Khachanov 1.46 v 2.75 Harris
That should be a close match and I think Harris has a right chance to beat Khachanov.
And Harris beat Kachanov, good call. snip Yea, that was ... I wonder did @buwaytress get a bet on?

Yes, this is my Twitter account from the time when it was very popular to have an account on that service - we had a lot of Twitter campaigns on the forum at the time - but they literally disappeared after the great crypto winter. Maybe it’s time to be a little more active again on that platform as well.
Being active on all social media platforms keep you awake ... TBH BCT keeps me fully occupied, obviously I have Twitter and I go there for about 5 minutes per day but not to post. Being active on all platforms will definitely reduce your sleep time, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Forums and the countless other social media platforms. I like the idea of following other people whom I recognise from BCT....like Lucius

Kyrgios got hammered today by Bautista. Straight sets, no chance at all for a comeback.
I'd always pick Bautista in a match like this, they have such opposing playstyles and although he's way more talented, Kyrgios does not have the patience needed for players like Bautista. He will bore him all day, return the shots he needs to and play like a boring robot, making Kyrgios miss way more shots than usual.
Bottom line - I really don't like Kyrgios so I'm glad he's out.
Similar to what some teachers used to say about me in school, "has potential if only he would apply himself." Nick is seriously talented but is frustrating to watch, if he thinks a game is a lost cause he wont chase it. He must be a sponsors nightmare too, while he does draw attention he really does his own thing. Any tips for today boys? I've just done a probably-dumb bet against Nishikori -- not that I hope players are always injured, hate to hope that for an athlete, but he has had his off days and thinking this could be it. Trying to catch something live if I have time -- like Tsitsi when he was a set down against Murray yesterday was even 4/1 IIRC but the games today are too late for me to do anything proper.
Well my normal strategy is to bet on the favourite but I see a match today which might change that strategy: Khachanov 1.46 v 2.75 Harris That should be a close match and I think Harris has a right chance to beat Khachanov.

Yes its you, me and everyone else who is involved in buying and selling Bitcoin which determines the price, this also includes the miners who sell their Bitcoin mining rewards onto the market and also the traders who buy and sell Bitcoin every day based on chart analysis and current trends.
But
There is also the "manipulation" factor by those who have enough Bitcoin to purposely move the market in a particular way, up or down depending on how it can benefit them. These would possibly include mining pools, exchanges and whales.
Something else to consider on a smaller level is the shillers and fudsters who try to move the market by trying to infleuence other people to buy or sell their Bitcoin....or other crypto.

Some strange results today, for me the biggest surprise was Humbert loosing.
Murray took the first set and has solid chance to take the second in tie break. If he does I am placing a bet on Tsitispas at great odds. Have a feeling like Murray is slowly loosing his sharpness while Tsitisi is playing better and better. In my opinion Murray must win this 3:0 or he looses the match so odds have big value for me.
Humbert losing is probobly the biggest shock currently of the first round.Tsitsipas also after losing 2-1 in sets currently breaked Murray in 5th set and is looking promising for Tsitsipas. Also didnt expect Millman to lose in straight sets against Laaksonen. Did not place the main bet in the end since Tsitsi won second set and I never got those super value odds. Feeling sorry for Murray, his level of play yesterday would have been enough for win against 95% of players in the tournament. Just shows how much harder it is to get back once you lose your ranking and seed status. Murray's play yesterday was fantastic, he showed far more variety than Tsitsipas and his service game was brilliant but after finally getting broken in the 4th set the errors started increasing. TBH I considered cashing out my bet a few times because Murray looked like he was going to win.
All my other bets apart from Humbert and Fokina won so it was a good day with the Tennis bets.

I have about 15 years experience in office sace planning and layouts. I trained with AutoCAD but have for the past 5 years been using pCon and have decided to offer my services to the community or anyone you may know. I can generate 2D line plans and also 3D coloured renders which can be used to visualise your office either before moving in or if you want to re-vamp the layout and decor. Here are 3 samples of what can be acheived. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or post below. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2F1.bp.blogspot.com%2F-EbENJbt6OxM%2FYS06UKOSynI%2FAAAAAAAAAv8%2FauUtE9aRMEsy_7veMgn6kdfFh9tVRuuHgCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs16000%2Fspace-plan.jpg&t=663&c=A-jHnzYqJsP3MQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2F1.bp.blogspot.com%2F-HxAABNw-8x8%2FYTOrewg9mWI%2FAAAAAAAAAwQ%2FO-hAbpTxj4Qft2Svpry1xFia-MDc3b0dgCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs16000%2F3D.jpg&t=663&c=jIk6GJXh5J6EAg) Q. Yes its all go now, just watching Monteiro v Evans now and winding up to the Murray v Tsitsipas match.
There are sooo many attractive matches on today its hard to know what to prioritise.
On the womens side Keys v Stephens seems to be a great match, its currently heading for a tie break in the 3rd.
I have a parlay on Rybakina, Krejčíková, Azarenka, Osaka and Sabalenka.

6 Followers now with mine , and maybe some retweets will give the channel an boost. But i guess it will be coming from time to time that there will be more Followers.
My small contribution led us to 15 followers, and I also did a retweet. I haven't been active on Twitter for a long time, but I see that I have about 2300 followers - I hope some of them will be interested in this project. Is that you Lucius @GameOfBitcoins? Just followed the @BitcoinTalkShow account, I'm number 16. These (youtube and twitter channel's) are a great idea, wonder why it wasnt thought of before this initiative?

Interesting thread and interesting posts.
I came to this thread thinking about some commentators on Twitter who were saying over the last few months that the 4 year cycle will change and starting with this current cycle.
I guess what they mean or what I'm taking by that is there wont be a 2 year bear phase after the bull phase directly after the halving. This also ties in with what has been posted above, supply, demand, adoption is changing.
We have seen in the past and currently the phases in the four year cycle
The Halving The bull phase The bear phase The anticipation phase ahead of the next halving.

No worries Timelord re. Storm losing just really unexpected given the previous run of games.
The Panthers obviously beat The Tigers comfortably, 30 - 16 which puts them now in very close second on the ladder behind Storm because of their loss.
Last round round 25 sees Storm against The Sharks, they should win that and The Panthers take on The Eels, thats an interesting and tricky one, have The Eels woken up?

^^ I can understand that as I'm sure everyone can, a lot of great and varying ideas and designs submitted. This is another great thing about the forum, the community get chances to get involved just like the very popular at the time 10th Anniversary Art Contest

^^ Ah I think when Tsitsipas gets Murray running he wont have the pace over a minimum of 3 sets. ^^ Busta if I'm not mistaken is the top seed in this tournament so that speaks as to who entered or not.
Congrats on your win, I haven't put a bet on it, but Cilic has lost already and Bublik and Delbonis, so #6 and #5 and #10 is out of the tournament already.
But still a good tournament to bet with, there's money to be made as there are upsets here and there.
I lost my bet on Ymer, I thought he can overcome Ivasha, but Ivasha form is perfect in this match winning 6-0, 6-2, damn that was total domination.
Just looking at the odds for Tsitsipas vs Murray, 1.08 ML and then handicap -7.5 at 2.01. I think Murray can still give a good fight, although Tsitsipas might win in 2 sets, but that handicap? not sure if he can cover it. So I will skip this match, there are a lot of games that it worth to bet to give us a good returns. I have a bet on Tsitsipas along with bets on Humbert v Gojowczyk, Felix AA v Donskoy, Fokina v Trungelliti and Dimitrov v Riffice with not great odds for tomorrows games.

Cuba has suffered because of over 50 years of economic sanctions by the United States, that is why they seem stuck in the "stone age" and seem not to accept anything from outside their country, things are changing though, they certainly want to trade and drag themselves out of the poverty imposed on them. This article from last year > https://www.reuters.com/article/us-cuba-economy-tradefair-idUSKBN28I37OHAVANA (Reuters) - Cash-strapped Cuba said on Tuesday it had attracted $1.9 billion worth of foreign investment over the past year despite tighter U.S. sanctions and said it continued to reduce internal obstacles to investors. It makes sense to adopt Bitcoin, its borderless. Like El Salvador how do they integrate it into the existing financial system?

Well the Rabbitohs showed the Roosters how to play Rugby, really thought it was going to be closer.
Erm... WTF happened to Storm and to the Eels, Storm for letting the Eels slip through their grasp and the Eels for waking from their slumber? I lost a bit on that bet.

@Pokapoka124 well done you are doing excellent purely by comparing your activity rating to your merit.
The same goes for you two also @CryptocurrencyKing and @Oshosondy
Its nice to rank up, I know this because I recently ranked up to Hero after only 3 years but it shouldnt be the main focus of being on the forum.
You all have shown with dedication and good contribution your posts are worthy of merit, keep it up and you might overtake me!!

First round of US Open is already on its way, there's some familiar name of it so good time to bet again.
The first match that caught my attention : A. Murray vs S. Tsitsipas, I'm not sure Tsitsipas will have a tough fight from Murray, Murray is no longer as good as before his injury, maybe he can take a set but the winner is still Tsitsipas. And more top 10 players play on Tuesdays Yes, very intriguing but the odds favors Tsitsipas, might be better to bet the handicap as the ML is not that attractive. SNIP
SNIP Ah thats very unlucky for Murray, he hasnt really had much game time coming into this GS. Just when you want to get a winnable draw and try to get some momentum into the following rounds you are drawn against the 3rd seed Tsitsipas. All he can hope for is a retirement by Tsitsipas. Tsitsipas of course is the favourite and also would favour him to go far.

The thing about crypto as we know, it's decentralised and unregulated so anyone can become a "trader" and believe they will make profit....easily because Bitcoin "always" goes up.
That is kind of true but with lots of down turns and corrections. It indeed takes experience and knowledge to trade.
This is a good share by the OP, hopefully others will learn from it.
