3901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 26, 2020, 09:54:20 AM
The coronavirus thread is going to exist for a year or Morey, till we find a vaccine for that.
Having said that, there will be always a thread for the public health and the players.
In my opinion, Bundesliga should start again and matches to be played with no spectators...

That’s what will happen, also a vaccine probably won’t exist for over a year. In my opinion the best way to get through this is herd immunity, sadly people will die & there’s nothing we can do. It is a very low death per infection rate though & the economy needs to get going ASAP which includes football.

So many rumors about Premier...

Next week they mayeb start training

Yeah, there are rumours swirling around about players returning to training very soon. I am glad, it feels like an age since I watched a game of PL football. The Bundesliga will resume first so we will have to make do with that.
3903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 is almost here, are you ready? on: April 25, 2020, 05:17:40 PM
I’m definitely ready, my bags are full & I’m ready for the moon. It might take a while for the reduced supply of bew coins to take an effect on the price but it will happen. The next 12-18 months are going to be very exciting for bitcoin & crypto in general.

^  City wanted to copy Barca's template and had long term plan on how things should pan out.  And it wasn't just about winning trophies, it was also about building their academy and producing young talents like how Barca does it.

And they picked their transfers well over the years on average...  Unlike United after SAF.

City spent a lot of money to win the title a couple of times. They have really underperformed in Europe though, Pep needs to earn his money by winning the CL.

@tomahawk, yeah I saw that Boris Johnson is thinking about letting football restart in a couple of weeks. He thinks it’ll boost the moral of the country. It will certainly boost mine Cheesy

The leagues that make the most money via TV & sponsorship will finish. German, Spanish, Italian & PL will finish imo.
3907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 24, 2020, 08:29:18 PM
Chelsea used the option to extend for 1 year the contract of Giroud, Inter will now go for Mertens for free according to "LaGazzettaDelloSport"

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/24-04-2020/calciomercato-chelsea-esercita-opzione-giroud-inter-vira-mertens-370454671524.shtml

The also talking about the fact of Chelsea using this option only to sell him for some money, he was on expiration and he was a free player from 30th June 2020.

Meh, Giroud has been finished as a top performer for a few years now. You could be right, making him sign a new deal on possibly higher wages gives him a couple of months pay rise before he might be sold so Chelsea get a fee then & it’s a win for both parties.
3908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 24, 2020, 12:33:30 PM
Premier league is going to be one of the leagues that will be late to start.
I wonder how many games are going to be played in such a short period of time in order to finish the league. Will the performance of Liverpool is going to get impacted and in the end lose the title? Cheesy
(food for thought and conversation)

I think they only need 6 points from 9 remaining games so it’s near impossible they lose the title. They have lost something like 1 game in 18 months in the Premier League so I give you more chance of Bitcoin Cash going to £1,000,000 per coin this year than anybody else winning the PL.
3909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 24, 2020, 12:30:41 PM
Sky Sports News got some more news on RB Leipzig's striker Timo Werner, who has a release clause of €60m (£52m). It looks like a transfer to FC Liverpool is pretty unlikely at the moment. I personally doubt Werner will move to FC Liverpool at all. He might end up staying in Leipzig this season.

Timo Werner is ready to sign for Liverpool if they pay his £52m (€60m) release clause before it expires on 15 June. But Liverpool, like in January, do not intend to make a move for Werner before his release clause expires.[@SkySportsNews]

Leipzig are a selling club & 52 million GBP is a great deal for a potential buying club. He might not go to Liverpool but if they don’t take him then somebody else will imo.

There’s no way fans will be allowed inside the stadium this season but I think everybody will just be glad to be able to watch football again finally. There is no way any of the top European leagues will be cancelled & I’m glad.
3911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 23, 2020, 10:14:48 PM
Looks like the Bundesliga executives are ready to restart the league (1st division and 2nd division), but according to this article[1], it all comes down the Goverment's approval.

Btw, the article mentions that handshakes before kick-off will not be allowed, which is a small thing most leagues implemented when the pandemic was in the early stages and we still had football action but, does anyone else thinks this is pointless? I mean, players touch each other all the time, spit and sweat is all over the pitch  Roll Eyes

Anyways, question: Once the league returns, should we avoid moneyline for a few couples of weeks? Players have been innactive for a long ass time so things might feel like they just came back from the pre-season, it's gonna take some time for them to get back in shape (both physically and mentally). What do you guys think? yay or nay?

1. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8248727/Coronavirus-Bundesliga-bosses-sign-9-return-25-000-tests-needed.html

Might be an idea to avoid ML yeah, maybe over x.5 or under x.5 goals bets or both teams to score etc.
I’m just glad we’ll finally have some top level football to watch again.
3912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 23, 2020, 01:02:44 PM
The season will be completed, it is close to 100% certain. Ministers are already discussing behind closed doors football. The only people who want the season to be cancelled are fans of clubs who are having bad seasons. Sporting integrity will win the day.

hilarious -

I’d be more than willing to pay a monthly subscription for all games to be televised, I don’t know why they don’t do it. I’m sure Barca & Real have this service.
3914  Other / Off-topic / Re: My 14 year old son bought Bitcoin on: April 22, 2020, 01:00:00 PM
He’s mining bitcoin? I’m struggling to believe that, sorry. Mining these days requires expensive rigs & electricity bills are not cheap. It’s borderline unprofitable for solo miners these days.

Edit - A quick scroll through your post history shows you potentially try to scam people so I’m not sure what your plan is making this thread.

Your profile also says you’re 30, that’s pretty young to have a 14 year old som.

I’d never fall for anything like this but if they did have a video of me masturbating I have nothing to be ashamed of & I certainly wouldn’t pay anybody bitcoin to not release the video Cheesy

Who is this Davies guy at Bayern, I’m not familiar with him. Presumably he must have British family with a name like that?

I didn’t know that Vinicius Junior was only 19 too, wow.

I read somewhere that the new Newcastle boss has 10x more money than the Man City boss.

I agree with LFC_Bitcoin in thinking there's not a way to buy 10 first-team players anymore, but investing in infrastructure and academy is not a part of FFP and Newcastle can heavily invest there immediately.
We still need to see how strict will the FFP rules be after the coronavirus outbreak because most clubs will not be able to abide by them for this/next season.

I still hope City gets banned from Europe and FFP remains a factor but there will be pressure to remove it for a period of time or at least to lessen its strictness. I see a chance for rich clubs to take advantage of that.

The issue Newcastle will have is star players won’t want to go there.....yet. When Man City first had money obviously they were a crap team so they had to pay older players high wages to try & get better to attract tye interest of better players. I remember Man City got Adebayor & Bellamy when they first got taken over.
3918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: April 21, 2020, 07:17:17 PM
People seem to think Newcastle will be like Man City spending billions on their squad. They won’t be able to, the City takeover was in 2008 before FFP, Newcastle don’t make a lot of money as they’re not a well supported club outside of Newcastle. Sure they’ll be better than they are now but they’re not going to compete at the top of the table any time soon.

I wonder how do the miners take the halving? Of course I will not like my reward to get half 😜

They’ll just have to HODL until it becomes uber profitable to sell coins mined. It’s a good thing, those bastards won’t he flooding the exchanges with their newly mined coins whilst it’s not big profit.

Some of the smaller, shittier miners might turn off their machines which also wouldn’t necessarily be bad. Coin scarcity is good which is what we’ll get due to the block reward halving, mining profits aren’t great atm so we might get a double positive with more miners HODLING for a while too which added to scarcity will do wonders for the price.
