Synereo "+500% during the night" 3.4.16 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1424386.0Synereo is up against someone who knows marketing and implementation of million user adopted software better than they do. And we didn't and won't ICO/premine/instamine, meaning that our network effects and adoption will blow theirs away. Synereo is a vaporware P&D so keep that in mind:
Imo, Synereo is a thousand times better than the centralized alternatives like Facebook and Twitter, and Synereo's business model makes much more sense than theirs. I respect your intelligence, but you aren't the only "genius level" person on this forum.
Synereo pumper of presold AMP tokens for vaporware, wants to attack me already:
What was the rate of USD/AMP? 1 USD bought ~350 AMPs. How are AMPs distributed? The AMP distribution logic is designed to facilitate the development and growth of the Synereo social network through years to come. 18.5% were sold in the initial crowdsale. 10% will be used to compensate users as they join the network, invite others, and contribute to it. 7.5% will be awarded to content creators who begin operating on the network. We already have a few major musicians waiting to join and distribute their art on Synereo! 10% are awarded to the founders of Synereo, vested over a period of 30 months. 11.5% are kept for bounties, awarded to contributors and developers. 42.5% will be kept for future funding rounds. We aim to have two more, spaced 1-1.5 years apart, each providing the necessary funds for the next leg of the project. To protect the market, AMPs awarded to people who join the network and to content creators will be distributed over a long period of time. This will allow those who are interested in using them on Synereo to easily enjoy their benefits while preventing quick dumps. We've created all AMPs and disbursed them to wallets. They'll remain completely transparent so that everyone can follow them and ascertain that we are operating within the established rules. Crowdsale Wallet (369,600,000 AMPs) User Reward Wallet (200,000,000 AMPs) Content Creator Wallet (150,000,000 AMPs) Founder Reward Wallet (200,000,000 AMPs) Bounty Wallet (230,000,000 AMPs) Future Funding Wallet (850,400,000 AMPs) Jewish Business News - January 28, 2015 Israeli Startup Synereo Offers Decentralized Social Network

A hard down spike to $0.50 range is in the cards. BTC went $1200 to $150, and ETH is going to run an even more wild version of the same pattern.
Being fair the dust will likely settle around $250M in market cap, but the noobies will refuse to be wrong, so we're going to hear about $9, $7, $5, $3 this is the absolute bottom then too the MOON! $125 ETH for months ... "ether" ... kids look up the definition ... some in the BTC camp are still high off 2013 fumes and buying the idea of $12500, $125k, $million/per bitcoin hype.

Not on the wallet yet. But here is some UNO/Cryptsy news: Yeah, that's what I was going to say, they will pay these guys $400/hour each out of the Cryptsy money, not government money. If Paul Vernon actually had a couple million of his own money left, that will pay for the lawyers and receivers and liquid capital that was of the company.
$400/hour is not a lot, it's about the hourly going rate of a mid range decent attorney these days. If you've been to court like me, you've easily paid a lawyer $300-400 an hour. That money will be locked up for quite a while, if Vernon doesn't have the privkeys to "hack" the UNO as well. You never know, once the price gets too sweet for him with his Chinese girlfriend he may need to cash out coins he can reach to stay on the lam.
As for the Protanium/testnet discussion: Yes, it's true the testnet could need an entire reset at any time should there need to be some heavy testing on it. I thought everyone was aware of that, it being a testnet, but I can so how that would piss people off if they had money involved. Yes, inherently a testnet should actually have no value. If you try to monetize BTCs testnet, they just reset it on purpose.
For anyone unaware. Camp UNO is divided on Protanium/testnet, some like, some love, and some hate. Someone more technical (likely only the creator) needs to clarify the possibility/outcome of a UNO testnet reset. I think the easiest solution is just make another /testnet directory, but I can neither confirm nor deny if that is possible. (Depends on the bitcoin core code). I would also suggest a snap shot, then untie from the uno/testnet, but that is a hardfork option. But would end the 'testnet' debate. First things first ... getting a wallet that syncs ... stay tuned. Please remember that PR is and was a testnet EDIT: Re UNO Testnet/PR - worst that happens is that it gets reset in a future wallet, and you can no longer access your Testnet3/PR through the UNO wallet.
You'd use the PR client instead. If he ever needs a Uno testnet because he can't work on PR, BW will create a genesis block for a new testnet and compile a new client. Testnet3/PR has long run off down the road as its own thing. It won't simply evaporate by resetting it, because there is a network and nodes that have arrived at consensus... they won't just immediately wipe out the entire blockchain and sync to block 1 of testnet4. You'd have to take down the entire network (which admittedly, might not be too difficult).
Anyway... its not a big deal to me. Its just another piece of UNO's interesting history.
I hope someone is writing all these adventures down. I'd be the first to buy the book, "The Unabridged History of Unobtanium." Chapter 26: Prototanium.
Well FallingKnife, it doesn't actually work like that. Once you reset the blockchain, you reset it all the way. Meaning, everyone who had PRO coins would all have 0 balance, back to block one. So, anyone that puts money into it, or trades it, loses all they had no matter what once the blockchain has been reset. And yes, that really is the point of the testnet, to just wipe it and start over if need be, not that it has been recently reset, but with testing and development it will need to be reset. To really clarify the best I can: Yes, it does all simply evaporate by resetting it. Yes, there are nodes, they would all start from block 1 again. If you wanted to keep the coins and preserve the blockchain, you'd need to fork the testnet again and then it's no longer UNOs testnet, it becomes Prototanium as an entire new coin. In effect, that does actually just create another cloned premined coin as well. So, not a good idea at all. To really clarify the best I can: Yes, it does all simply evaporate by resetting it. i noticed that Cryptsy website went into 'maintenance' a few days ago too there is no way this could be a speedy trial, when you mix: -claimed 'hacker' thieves ... mr wacker signed a contract to return part of the loot ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) -gross custodial negligence -class action -offshore 'China' assets -CRYPTO ... "wat?" says the judge -and top it with a divorce only the lawyers will get paid ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) BUT that $45k of uno sitting on a wallet controlled by a $400/hr lawyer yeah if your name is not Vern, and you can verify that, then if he grasps the ropes of sending to an address (or his interns/paralegals do) ... that might be recoverable ... but my guess is that was/is Verns ... so likely auction UN 2018 or such. **no one in CAMP UNO was fool enough to let that amount ride in Craptsy towards the end, and i find it a bit odd that UNO was withdraw-able during the fiasco but as soon Vern publicly said he got hacked then UNO wallets were never opened back up, all the other coins reopened for withdraws, less those that were not before (btc, ltc, doge, ripple). in sAllah we trust?
