3921  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 08, 2023, 07:30:09 PM
What's the reason why you didn't pass the KYC verification? Are you sure you are using original documents?

If you have already used a fake documents, you have yourself to blame. Casinos are always looking for a way to grab players fund and if you give them a reason to, you'll never get your money back.

If we don't comply to their KYC procedures they won't allow us on anything, what will pain most ia that this will be coming the very moment you will needed their attention the most to help you perform some functions, we easily derive on conclusion that wome casinos are scam because we are yet to provide their necessary KYC informations, as for those that like presenting fake documents, it will do nothing good for them than making the whole process get tougher.
Yeah, it is actually better to choose to play on a non-kyc casino (as I see we do have a few of them around already) than to decide to play on a kyc enabled casino and submit a fake document when asked to submit document for account verification, like the first comment said, casinos are always looking for who to make the scape goat, if any gambler decides to offer him or herself to be used as a scape goat, then such person have no right to complain what so ever..

Like I said earlier and I rephrase again, better use a casino where kyc is non existent, then cheat on a kyc enabled casino, you will only end up losing all your money including your deposit if caught.
Since we started the discussion on the topic of the advantages of playing in non-KYC casinos, I picked interest in that and I went on a personal search for the best possible non-kyc casinos to my amazement I find out that most of the non-kyc casinos also have flexible terms and conditions of service and also their have lower wagering requirements for bonuses and deposits.

While the Kyc casinos set limits to the amount you can withdraw without Kyc and how much you can also deposits at a go, all these are the limitation of Kyc casinos and the riskiest of them all is that you also risk your data.
3922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 08, 2023, 07:17:11 PM

That's true, but there are still many who believe Inter might be able to put up a tough fight for Manchester City. Meanwhile, the reality is that Manchester City really have a very big chance to win and also, if the theory is like that then I'm sure Inter won't be able to score a goal. Maybe, Manchester City's defense is not completely strong, but if Manchester City can excel in ball possession then of course, Inter will find it difficult to develop their playing style in the match later.
Inter Milan have really worked well to reach their present stage in thos season because not many expected them to get this far and as a matter of fact there chances of winning Manchester city in this season may look slim but the possibilities are there and anything can happen that will put inter Milan in a better position that will guarantee them a slide ending in this season.

And even if iinter Milan end up losing to Manchester City it will become a big record for the club to have reached this far and also use it as a basis for their preparation for the next useason.
3923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 08, 2023, 07:11:37 PM

Yes you are right that mate Self control is the header of all aspects because without a self control then you don't have any limitations of yourself, and that's a big mistake that a man or woman made. Self control is for our safety only so beyond that line there are many temptation want to break you,  so you need to double your security by t self control and limitations. And the best thing is if we are new to gambling then we need to gamble what we afford to lose.
Take for example, when you work for someone else or the government, every workforce day is a happy day but when you are. Self-employed or into business, work free day is a losing day since you have to make the money you spend and likewise gambling self-control,  once you know your life is at stake. And there is a need to apply some self-exclusion to avoid possible issues it will be necessary to avoid and apply a brake to whatever we do online and gambling is one of those things we must apply self-control on.
3924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: June 08, 2023, 06:19:49 AM
Had you considered using bitcoin in your discussion of this topic or not.. or do you really believe that your use of the term crypto provides any kind of a less than vague depiction of what is happening and being attempted in El Salvador in regards to bitcoin and/or its attempts at tech-friendliness?

The word crypto is a vague word that can be misused by many shitcoin promoters. They hid under the word crypto to promote their scam projects while telling unsuspecting clients that their coin and bitcoin are in the same category. So many people in my country assume that there are no differences between Bitcoin and other coins because they have been deceived that all of them are the same. This is why I always support it when people argue that the name of the coins should be mentioned because hiding under the term crypto can be abused and misused.
There is a big difference between Bitcoin and shitcoin and shouldn't be used interchangeably and both terms should be clearly differentiated, but many members have misunderstood this fact and ended up. Making that mistakes each time their make comments, and also shutcoinairs have constantly and consciously used the term crypto to mean and promote the coins in the same category as bitcoin which is something we constantly discredit in our various discussions as related to Bitcoin or the entire cryptocurrency.

But when it comes to El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption, the discussion there is no way we gonna accept the term crypto to be used in our discussions since El Salvador was specific in their approach to the adoption of Bitcoin and no other coin so shitcoinair can gain any place in this discussion and we must consciously and our words while having this discussion.

3925  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: It would have been worse without Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general. on: June 07, 2023, 09:26:29 PM
Cryptocurency and in bitcoin in particular has help this nation and also many nation or should I say it citizens because the government still considered this technology a treat to their dominance and control over the funds of the masses. Imagine a country like el Salvador where bitcoin is legal and used as a legal tender, the citizens there will be at rest to any sort of financial drama from the government and their fiat currency depreciation problems. People would save money now and have a rest of mind knowing fully well their funds are safe from constant deduction of fees and levees from the government and their fiat system.
Have you ever wondered why Bitcoin is referred to as a saviour?
The answer is not far fetch from the realities on ground and how cryptocurrency activities have help to elevate the living standards of the Niferia youths, Nd it has become evident that youth are the front runners when it comes to digital currency involvement,  it trade and usage, and there is no gain saying that Nigeria is highest among Africa countries is the high volume of bitcoin or cryptocurrencies trading and this statistic have been announcing multiple time and at each time Nigeria always top the chart of the highest cryptocurrency users in Africa, despite being a country where its central bank has bad anti bitcoin laws.
3926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 07, 2023, 09:05:35 PM
Judging with currently available data at hand and bitcoin market chart analysis, we are still very far away from 40k this is so because bitcoin has not built the needed resistance liquidity that will help if the price to move to that speculated amount and what is most expected right now is how bitcoin could build a resistance value that can provide the market flow needed.
3927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 07, 2023, 08:59:38 PM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so? I know many will find this hard to believe but I kinda prefer bringing in gamblers than investors into crypto, why? They understood the risk already, there is no talk and talk over again, there is no dealing with someone fear and confidence..
~snip~
Well I also feel the same way it is better that they know the risk than to keep on dreaming that crypto is a way to be an instant millionaire.
Most of the time when I am talking to newbie's in crypto they would just think that this is an easy way out, without understanding or acknowleding the risk due to the successful stories that they heard or read online.
This is absolutely no longer a thing to be surprised about, it's basically the same for everybody, it is no longer news that majority of the worlds population are poor and need money, but the unfortunate thing is that, majority out of this many are not ready to work hard for it, they all seek to have it the easy way, and having money the easy takes great extra luck, like a person in my country who won over a hundred thousand dollars with a bet of about $0.5 dollars, or another who recently won about eighty thousand dollars with a bet of about $1, if one is not this lucky, you gotta work hard for your money, maybe until such luck locate you.
Yes gambling take high luck and basic skills to get lucky to win a good amount and just as you mentioned the amount of win in of $100k with a 50 cent bet is quite an incredible incident that thoroughly requires high luck to be able to win such jackpot but also we must have to have that positive energy toward our betting and also perceive ourselves as lucky as other and if we can take the right risk we will see a big change and luck inns of time.
But it won't come easy for everyone to be able to reach such level of luck with such amount risked it shows how hopeless the situation could have been if the bet is not won.
3928  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 05:53:48 PM
Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?

The essence of gambling, at least to most players I believe, is that you stand to gain a tangible return from taking a risk. While this is technically true with virtual goods, you still don't have any "skin in the game" as it were and might as well be throwing your virtual money at a random number guessing game for all the benefit it brings you. Being able to say you have gotten richer from a wise decision could be construed as a underpinning force behind gambling. Of course the flip side is that you are stupid if you lose repeatedly. There is no judgement on either , but virtual betting is nonsense and a complete waste of time really.
Fortify you are right and that applies to me personally, the reason why I gamble is to make money from risking my money on the bets as long as I can make an extra case from my gambling activities it's ok for me,  And that is what increases my motivation to keep playing and to see how to reflect this on the daily activeness of my gambling behaviour.

But also we have a few fun games and I don't know if we can classify them under gambling since we doing stake any money playing them, but just play against friends just to have fun, I don't find them interesting most times.
3929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: June 07, 2023, 05:46:47 PM
I saw this online and thought maybe I should bring it on to bitcointalk for discussion.

If a person gamble and at the end of the game he starts to feel remorse is that a good thing or should the person be on alert?
At early stage, one may feel remorse most especially when you lose the games, but what gives the highest motivation is when you gamble and you win at that point, your confidence level will be increased compared to when you lose, and also when you are in an area where most citizens are not a gambling or religion restrictions on gambling activities.

3931  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: NLC threatening government with strike on: June 07, 2023, 09:40:25 AM
even saw a news where they asked the government to review the minimum wage from #30,000 to #200,000 and implement it so as to afford this removal of subsidy.
Oh! I did not know that NLC is also asking for increase in minimum wage, I thought they want the government plan on the removal of fuel subsidy to be revoke just because of inflation not to occur.

It would be good for NLC to fight for increase in minimum wage after the subsidy as been removed, after it has lead to persistent rise in the price of goods and services. They will have a better say at the time.
First the issue with minimum wage review and increase is one of the top agenda pf the new administration and as the president have said that there is no going back on the subsidy removal, at this point what baffles me is the reason why NLC want to embark on a national wide strike I don't think their have any basis for doing so,. Because the issue with increase in workers salary and the overall welfare of the nigeria workers is what has caught the attention of the new president and in no time he is going to attend to them the same way he is handling other national issues.
3932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend a reliable Bounty Hunter... on: June 07, 2023, 09:33:06 AM
FireDAO is planning to launch our signature campaign and bounty campaign very soon. We know that there are alot of experience players here that can provide us very informative tips. Please recommend a few trusted and reliable bounty hunter so that we can have a great start when taking off our marketing campaign.
Why not instead running the signature campaign and bounty yourself, why not hire the service of a manager that will oversees all the arrangement and? Monitoring of the campaign period and activities of the participants.

I think it is better that way and you will earn the trust of the members of the forum to participate in the bounty campaign and just like the user bussybuddy has mentioned the list of the professionals we have here you can make good use of one of them, once again welcome to the forum ops.
3933  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 06, 2023, 11:32:17 PM
The main selling point of bitcoin casinos - or any online casino in general - is its ease of access and general comfortability. You don't have to travel in order to go to one, and you can literally play with any device that has a working browser that's updated and compatible with the games that they are providing. Another thing is that there aren't any time limitations on online casinos compared to traditional casinos. There are traditional casinos that only have certain operating hours, so if you're already in the middle of winning streak but the it's already their closing time, you have no choice but to leave your game and call it a day.
I guess that is the same as the general feature of a casino which is online be it a cryptocurrency casino or fiat casino and there is much difference between both of them, unless for few differences which are widely not mentioned in most discussions since it quite unnoticed.
That is the cross-border deposit of Bitcoin casinos, unlike the traditional casinos where your location and currency may affect your deposit process.
3934  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Two Events that'll Influence the Strength of NGN /USDT on: June 06, 2023, 10:51:30 PM

This was not what was disclosed to the public about the refinery during lunching. It was said that operation will start immediately and the first batch of crude oil will be supplied to the refinery by June. But if what you’ve said is true, then we could face another shortage of petroleum products if we don’t have enough in stock that were already refined to be used till October 2023.
We may not experience a shortage in petroleum supplies since the government have issued license to private pms importars which means the petroleum importation market is now a free market and anyone can now import petroleum products and sell at an unregulated price which means the market forces will determine the price of the petrol, unlike during subsidy where only the NNPC is the sole importers and the DPPR set the price where government settled subsidy difference.

What we should look out for where there is free market flow!
Take Bitcoin for example,  the market force determine bitcoin price so when the demands exceed the availability it will result into the high price for the scarcely available product, and if there is a surplus of supplies it then means there will be a price crash since the products exceed the demand so it both ways.

But in this situation, there is going to be the availability of the petroleum product since the importation is now a free market and the government issues licenses to any individual or private company who wants to import the product.
3935  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: June 06, 2023, 10:38:39 PM
yeah 1xbit should be gone from this forum to see if everyone forgets their scams... but not. As long as I remember, I'm passing from time to time remembering everyone that they are scammers.

I guess the best we can do is to keep up with the awareness of the city scam acts here in the forum and possibly outside the forum whenever we have any decision as regards to casino's reputation and choice of playing there, we have to limit our action to only that since the forum doesn't regulate scam so I guess we have to unbearably put up with them for a while until they pull off the forum due to lack of interest from players here.

3936  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / the impact of the border reopening and the unified exchange rate on the naira on: June 06, 2023, 09:53:47 PM
As the new administration of President Bola Tinubu kicks off properly, the ground has been hit ruined and the government is taking steps to help revitalize the economy and also taking steps to strengthen the naira against the United States dollar which is the major exchange currency in the international stock market.

Major breakthrough by the new government:

1: one of the significant moves this government made was the president's inaugural speech where he declared that fuel subsidy is gone since then we have seen the impact of that speech on the petroleum product PMs pump price, but with its long-term gain on the economy as the government now gives licenses to independent markets and private individuals to import petroleum and sell at market price, that means more competition that will eventually lead to price case.

2: border reopening,  this have been a speculation around the social media that the president have have reopened the Nigerian border which has been closed by the past administration all throughout the 8 years tenure, and this will open up the Nigerian economy to the international marketplace where. Exchange of goods and services will take place.

What impact does all of this have on the value of the naira against the dollars?
My analysis of the term:
The naira has been devalued furthermore by the Central Bank of Nigeria from the official price of ₦‎464 to $1 to around ₦‎645 as a unified exchange price according to the new government, well we all know that the dollar's official price has always been under subsidy too, since at the black market all of us who are into cryptocurrency already used to the black market price of ₦‎700+ for the past one year or also so we are more enlightened that other members of the public on how much the government pay as dollars subsidy just to keep the exchange rate at that so-called official price of ₦‎464.

So at this point what can we make out of this situation and at the same time what are the advantage that awaits traders most especially cryptocurrency traders and those that exchange their USTD, Bitcoin and other digital assets into the Nigeria naira in this period?

Do you think the unified exchange rate will stabilize the naira value?

3937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: would you play more on casino when your country plans to ban BTC? on: June 06, 2023, 09:27:01 PM
while your country plans to ban crypto trading but online gambling legal, you'll gonna to decide what to do with coins.  would you go play your coins to accumulate or just withdraw and wait for the government to change its stance?  no other option.
I believe of your country already ban bitcoin trading or bitcoin entirely it is now left for you to decide how you are going to spend your bitcoin either to keep hold or use it for other transactions that is noncustodial, to me depositing my Bitcoin into a gambling site make me more vulnerable and at the same time put my coin at risk and the possibility of me getting my entire Bitcoin is not there because there will be some charges and also the risk of losing while trying to meet wager requirement for withdrawal.
So in such a situation,  if the government should ban Bitcoin, what I will do is store my Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet, best I use a hardware wallet device to serve as my cold wallet and I will continue holding it.
3938  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can the ban on smartphones curtail peer pressure? on: June 06, 2023, 06:32:01 PM
But from what I gathered in the news, it restricts children from the age of 8-9 from using smartphones and I believe this is the age bracket of Gen z who are characterized as digitally smart.

The use of smartphones has been banned, what about laptops? Won't these vices be gotten on there?
Where and how was the use of smartphone ban between the age bracket you mentioned because I have not read anything close to this on the news today or the previous week.

But then this step may help in reducing kids over dependence on social media and other online content to make sense out of the growing process, it may have both a bad side and good side on the kids because we also have some early education devices that help kids learn some basic things.

3939  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 06, 2023, 06:09:33 PM

I personally even think that kyc data is much more safe on gambling casinos than they are on crypto trading exchanges, this is because from what we have seen so far, I've come to believe that crypto trading exchanges are more prone to cyber attacks than gambling casinos, I've rarely come across any news of a gambling casino being hacked and users kyc data stolen, but this is something that is particularly very common with crypto trading exchanges.

And concerning how kyc data are kept, I think some platform does have a special server, more like a storage system where every kyc data is uploaded to and kept, and most times, it's only the CEO, and maybe some else very close to the CEO, that usually have access to such server or storage system..
I agree with you and for avoidance of doubt or misunderstanding take the FTX case for example, the CEO said that the collapse of the exchange os as a result of manipulation of its system, even though it is clear they spend the exchange liquidity on personal expenses, but it was aided by the hack which can lead to data leakage from The exchange KYC database.
And there are some other cases of exchange hacks and all these hacks will expose user data to identity thefts.
3940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: June 06, 2023, 03:46:37 PM
Regarding referral bonuses, I had experience with this site BC.GAME . I had shared the link via social media only one time and totally forgot about it . Six month's ago when I checked I saw that my total referral commission rewards shown as $30,900 . Without any difficulty I had withdrawn all the money. Neither there was wager restriction nor any question. You may say this site has changed my life.
Seriously I don't believe your story because making as much as $30,900 in six months without your knowledge is seriously impossible and to make such an amount in that space of time requires your input at some level and there is no. Why you can generate such an amount of commission just by sharing your referral links on social media and receiving such input?
You may have to share some detail such as your balance commission in the casino you mentioned.

There's nothing too possible or impossible when it comes to gambling, anything can happen, I will only agrees with you on this if OP is unable to present the evidence to his achievements, there are people that can go extra miles in other for them to achieve something, but what i think may be his challenge here is the lack of understanding the full details on the requirements for claiming wuch bonus, if he didn't meet up the required standard he will not be awarded his bonus, maybe he should go back to study their ToS and understand it better to know what he has been missing out.
Well let wait and see if mate provides those evidence since it. Look too good to be a true story because earning over $30k+ referral reward is something that looks almost impossible to believe for me and many other people following this discussion.
But then we have to look beyond just that and move on with this topic and try as. Much as possible to stay on the topic.
