3921  Economy / Gambling / Re: TwiceDice Casino | 110% Bonus | Accepts: BTC, ETH, USDT, DOGE, XRP, BCH, LTC on: August 11, 2021, 06:00:46 PM
Your casino is called, "TwiceDice" but I could only find one dice game... and it was hard to find.  Huh  I was a bit disappointed.. because looking at the name, I thought this site specializes in Dice games...  Roll Eyes

Well, let's forget about that...because the site looks decent and the experience is fun. The rollover requirements of 35x within 15 days on the deposit bonus is a bit tough, but we know casinos just use that to hook people.. the casino always get their bonus back... so it is nothing new.  Sad

Good luck with the site and welcome to the forum.  Wink
3922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: August 11, 2021, 04:39:34 PM
I think a lot of people are putting too much emphasis on the risks involved with governments and regulations. In most countries, governments are chosen by the people through a voting system. If you are lucky enough to live in one of these countries, then you have a say in what happens.

Use your vote and the votes of your family and friends to vote for a government that can bring change that favor Crypto currencies. The older generation will vote for "Fiat" based governments, because they accepted that as the norm. The younger generation wants change and they want more effective currencies and technologies... so go out and get the votes of these people to make Crypto currencies the new standard.  Wink
3923  Economy / Economics / Re: Cybersecurity workers shortage in USA on: August 11, 2021, 12:56:17 PM
I think the USA and a lot of other countries are lacking skilled IT Security specialists that can compete with Russian and Chinese hackers. The threat is there, because with Solarwind, the US pointed to Russian hackers that infiltrated a security company and then government departments. (It was embedded in a Solarwind upgrade, after they reverse engineered the exploit)

The only way to neutralize these threats are to hire "White hat" hackers to train security experts in the counter measures to neutralize these hacks.  Wink
3924  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-08-10] AMC will accept bitcoin as payment for movie tickets by year end on: August 11, 2021, 06:33:05 AM
AMC Entertainment said Monday it will start accepting bitcoin as payment for movie tickets and concessions if purchased online at all of its U.S. theaters.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/09/amc-says-it-will-accept-bitcoin-as-payment-for-movie-tickets-by-year-end.html

So, this has been tried before by other Movie theaters and it died a slow death... will AMC Entertainment be able to find a way to make a success of this? I hope they offer some kind of incentive for people to pay with Bitcoin and not with Fiat currencies. (Discounts when you pay with Bitcoin?)
3925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Replacing U.S Dollar as the global Reserve Asset on: August 11, 2021, 05:36:13 AM
This is simply a pipe dream and not something that governments will ever allow. Do not underestimate governments commitment to preserve their local Fiat currencies. The US as a economic super power, will protect that status with violence... like we have seen with previous administrations. (Bush)

The reason why they are doing this, is because they can manipulate "supply" of the reserve currencies and they do not have that power to manipulate Bitcoin. The closest you will ever see Crypto currencies becoming a reserve currency, is when governments develop their own government coins (GovCoins) ..where they control the mining/protocol/developers ...etc.  Angry
3926  Economy / Exchanges / Luno Exchange Phishing scam on: August 10, 2021, 05:24:39 PM
A friend of mine send me a SmS he received from his exchange or rather a fake (Luno.com)... stating the following...

"LunoBTC Trader: your LunoBTC account will be De-activated today - 10 August, if not verified on the 2021 API 2FA panel tap=> (Then it gives a link shortener Url) & verify now."

It re-directs to a fake page, where they want you to enter your KYC verification documents. Please do not fall for these phishing Sms's or emails... they just want to use those documents to steal your identity and to signup at other sites to commit fraud.

Be Safe out there.  Wink
3927  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: August 10, 2021, 04:16:07 PM
What is the possibility of adding a "weekly" wager counter ....to show users in real-time what they wagered over the last week? I know you can request your wager statistics (5 times in 24hours) ... from the menus, but it will be nice if you can see that statistic in real-time next to your balance. (Left of the search option)  Huh

The chat is inundated with people wanting to know if they qualify for "rain" .... if the counter was there, they will know if they qualify or not, just by looking at the counter.  Wink  (It will also be an incentive for the people to reach that goal)  Wink
3928  Economy / Economics / Re: Where is the value reflected? on: August 10, 2021, 11:29:01 AM
We do not want Bitcoin to be a trend, because trends come and go... we want Bitcoin to become a "legal" currency, that can be used widely at different merchants offering products and services.

You remember the days when you were a child and you went through the different "trends" ..like playing with YoYo's and the next month it was, Rubik's Cubes etc... well, we do not want Bitcoin to be the trend for a month or two.. and then it is gone and forgotten.  Roll Eyes   (Let's make it a long-term Brand for alternative currencies.... The Coca~Cola of currencies)  Wink
3929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is firstly a ledger and secondly a currency. on: August 10, 2021, 06:14:51 AM
This must be the the most efficient "Ledger" in the world. How many ledgers are distributed to 1000's of P2P nodes, that are not owned or managed by a centralized organization? How many of the other ledgers can be used for "Smart contracts"..?

The Blockchain and the Bitcoin protocol is a masterpiece and it is a miracle to behold. (Google ==> Byzantine Generals Problem + Bitcoin) The Immutability of Bitcoin transactions on the Blockchain is the real value....because people only know how valuable it is, when they know how other ledgers are being manipulated.  Wink
3930  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2021, 04:34:56 PM
I think you might have it wrong there.... Japan was the first country to accept Bitcoin as a "currency" .....not El Salvador.  Wink  It does not matter, it might be the first 3rd world country to accept Bitcoin as a currency..  Grin

The thing with 3rd world countries are the following.... Many of them are run by very corrupt politicians and these politicians do not want their cirizens to have any kind of freedom. (Bitcoin is synonymous with financial "freedom" and they hate that.)

There might be the odd exception... but I am not going to hold my breath for that to happen in most of the 3rd world countries.  Smiley
3931  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the nature of the value of Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2021, 09:18:00 AM
I think you said it best with this.... "Value itself is illusory, invisible and intangible, yet it actually exists." .... I can compare that to the "skins" or "add-ons" that gamers are buying for their video games.... because it is not something that you can touch, but it is a creation of someone in a virtual world, that has value.

We have seen people buying virtual "Land" in a virtual world for thousands of Dollars in online worlds, but a lot of people cannot see how a "virtual" Crypto token can have value.... absurd, if you think about it in that way.  Roll Eyes
3932  Economy / Economics / Re: China - everything is fine! But everything is bad ... on: August 08, 2021, 03:41:41 PM
USSR dissolved in 70 years, but CCP now marks its tight grip for 72 years. Are we heading to the endgame of CCP? Maybe, because of covid. The problem with communism/socialism is always about the economy where the higher up corrupt as fuck enriching their inner circle, and the ordinary people remain poor (yes, 1st world countries also have corruption problem, BUT it's not as severe as China). Add it with no freedom of speech and stuff, including covid as the accelerant, literally will make suffering to the max.

Humans can break with a particular level of suffering, and once they break, the government will collapse.

The thing is.... the Chinese culture is so disciplined that they will not rise up to stop this. If things like this happened in Western countries, people will rebel against it and they will vote against the ruling party to remove their power, but this is sadly not happening in China.  Sad

Let's not forget that we are dealing with a country with the oldest civilization in the world.... they should be teaching us how to be successful and we should be learning from their mistakes.  Roll Eyes

I doubt if the CCP or their economy will collapse or end anytime soon.  Roll Eyes
3933  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Partner - UFC Betting Partner - $1M Race II ⚽ 🥊 on: August 08, 2021, 09:26:09 AM
Anyone has good suggestions to wager for reaching plat 3 before ripping the rest of the balance? I have tried dice 1.1 and 1.01 but the loss streaks are more than 1 per 100 rolls. Plinko low 8 and baccarat also doesn't wager with 1:80 ratio.

If you loves to play slot then you can try 1429 Uncharted Seas by Thunderkick.
You will get near around 98.6% RTP, considered as the height RTP in slot games.
It has three rows & five reels, 5 mermaid in a row gives up to 50x, Octopus & turtle paying out 10x, Lobster & fish give out 6x of your stake.

Wilds feature and Free spin feature makes this game more profitable, there is a chance of getting up to 50 free spins if 5 compass appear in the screen, where three compass rewarded 10 free spins. and two compass are made mega spinning.

Hey, Thank you for posting this one... the RTP (theoretical payout) of 98,5% and the low Volatility and hit frequency of
41,2% .... makes this one a keeper. I also like the minimum bet of $0.10 for the times when the budget is low and you just want some fun.

I have to say, I was quite lucky with the first try, because I hit a 200x bet on a $0.20 bet.  Grin  The game performance are not laggy and the feature and cut scene are average. This one is going to the favorites... just because it is not a "budget" killer.  Grin

Ps.... Happy Birthday Stake!

How do you "void" the Geo-lock" option on Slots from a third party provider? I was under the impression that this is done from the Slot providers side and not from the site hosting the casino?

If this was possible, people that are Geo-locked will flock to the casinos that are not Geo-locked. Some people are forced to play through VPNs to be able to play these games.

Give a more detailed explanation of the Slot pricing ..please.  Wink
3935  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 07, 2021, 06:47:00 PM
I think people are used to a currency that constantly lose value, so it will be a breath of fresh air for them to use a currency that appreciate in value. The long-term believe seem to be that a more even distribution of bitcoins will eliminate the "whales" that are causing these "Spikes" and "Dips" in the price.

I honestly think "Whales" will always exist, because there are some filthy rich individuals and groups.. that will always be in the position to buy a lot of coins. People will get used to the price cycle and they will capitalize on the "recovery" period. (Spending when it is on the Up and Up)  Wink

I wagered a lot here recently and currently I am Platinum 4, when I got assigned VIP host ’Steve’ I messaged him on Telegram asking for my bonuses just for him to block me and no response.

They currently owe me Platinum 3 and Platinum 4 bonus which I am due to receive.

I recommend staying away from them until I’ve received my bonuses.

Here's the screenshot of me requesting my bonus from Steve

Dude... you are all over the place! ..... Eddie even bumped into one of your scam accusation links on Reddit while he was Streaming. If you are such a high roller to reach Platinum 4 .... why would you go through all this trouble to smear Steve's reputation like this?

Yes, your bonus for reaching Platinum 3 and Platinum 4 must be about $2000.... but that must be peanuts for a Platinum 4 player. Steve says you are trying to claim the bonus on an account that you do not own... so I guess you received your answer.  Wink
3937  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 07, 2021, 12:23:28 PM
TheQuin and his scoundrels friends is once again ready to rob gullible users by offering 3% daily. Don't be fooled by this is his next bear trap, as soon as you trust, FUN price will begin to fall rapidly, not by 45%, but more. Don't give your BTC, because his token is worth nothing, this is a candy wrapper, and he is the largest manipulator moving the course where he needs on behalf of Wetsuit (Big Bear from GTA Sa)

Why all the hate? Are you a shill or competitor from another Alt coin? The FUN coin has a catchy name and it is listed and it has one of the biggest Crypto sites on the Internet as a target market... why will they cut and run for a backing like that?

Also, if FUN turns out to be a Pump n dump.... Freebitco.in will take a huge "reputation" hit and they do not want that. Freebitco.in need the users to make profit..so why anger them?
3938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you own at least one Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2021, 08:22:43 AM
Many people are considering how to invest in Bitcoin. My advice is: try to hold as many Bitcoins as possible. If you are not rich, you also need to hold at least one Bitcoin. If you don’t own one Bitcoin, It is possible that an entire era will be missed.

Why would I suggest this?

Because I think Bitcoin will rise to an unattainable price in the future. In fact, it is difficult to value Bitcoin according to traditional valuation systems and models. Because Bitcoin belongs to a completely different category of assets, I think a more accurate name should be "monetary assets". This is an asset with a very strong currency attribute, and it is also a currency with a very strong asset attribute.

It has become a consensus that the economic crisis will come back every once in a while. The reason for the financial crisis is very simple: both parties are greedy, investors' greed and bankers' greed. Greed is what it should be on Wall Street, it can almost be regarded as an obligation.

And when will the next round of crisis come? We don't know

Why do you need to hoard bitcoins, when Bitcoin (Lightning Network) is such a great payment system? You say the Banks are greedy, but you forget that people hoarding bitcoins are greedy too...right? The speculators in the Crypto currency scene could care less about the technology, because they are too focused on their profits.

If Bitcoin is built on "greed" ...then they will also fall like Wall Street and like the Banks, because you need people to create a use case for Bitcoin for it to survive. The use case is it being used as a "Currency" and not as a "Commodity"  Roll Eyes
3939  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Yggdrasil Reelercoaster 🎢 €60,000 prize pool on: August 06, 2021, 08:59:17 PM
I always like Fridays because it is synonymous with great surprises that Bitcasino.io brings us, now with this new contest there are many more opportunities, also the fact that there is no minimum bet draws much more attention, Vikings Go Berzerk I want to play it for a lot time, I really like the Nordic culture and I love that it is here. 60,000 Euros is a very juicy number, the fact that it is distributed randomly gives more opportunity to other games to win with the same opportunity, this promises! I think it's a good combination to play this weekend and watch the Olympics at the same time, good luck to everyone.

A little warning.... "Vikings Go Berzerk" can trigger a long-term degen session, collecting the "rage" to fill up those Vikings.. can take a lot of time, but it is worth it. When those Vikings are in "Berzerk" mode.... they quickly kill those "Sirens" .... and then you fill your balance to go onto the next Viking. (Some Vikings is easier than other)

Vikings Go Berzerk is a high variance slot, but the RTP is 96.1 ....so you are going to play for much longer and when you win, you usually win good. (It takes some hard grinding and a few hours to get it to pay)  Wink

Still a bloody good Slot... with awesome animations... (A mermaid turning into a Siren, never gets boring to watch)  Wink
3940  Economy / Economics / Re: When debt is an asset on: August 06, 2021, 05:39:32 PM
Call me a traditionalist ... but if you want a roof over your head... and you cannot afford it... then you have a choice, namely :

Rent a house : Give money to a landlord (someone else) and never own property.
Borrow the Money : Take out the mortgage and pay the interest and own your own property. (Asset)

I own my house... I paid it off way earlier than what I should have, because I paid much more than what was required from the mortgage payments.  (Best decision I have ever made)  Wink
