3921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: November 25, 2017, 06:15:51 AM
Planning to sell whe the price reach at $10000. But i will sell some anytime if i need it right away.

I always love to sell when bitcoin pumps but some emergency purposes push me to sell my whatever the price is.
It's so bad! You had a lot of opportunities to sell Bitcoin at high price but you just wait the emergency situation to sell Bitcoin because you need money in that time. It's a bad strategy and you won't have profits through trading or investing in Bitcoin. Trust me. You should change your habits.

Well you have a point but maybe he just want to hold as long as it reaches his target amount and when there's an emergency he had no choice but to sell but if it's unnecessary he just hold so he can have a sure and good profit when it goes to the moon, he doesn't wanna miss the ride for his life.
However, on the other side of the picture, he surely miss the opportunity to taste what's ATH like.
3922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: November 25, 2017, 05:16:56 AM
I've always been one who sells to earlier, either to minimize my losses or to realize my earnings ASAP and leave. I've seen in most of my investments, if not all that if I would've just left the coins there they would've been worth 10-50x what I put in before. This is upsetting as a person and trader, as I see how much money I'm missing out on.

How do you traders do it, hold and hold and hold. Waiting around for more and more money?

I would suggest that you just set your sell order with 1.5%  multiply it from the amount of how much you bought that coin. Then use blockfolio and set the alarm and wait for it to be sold.
That's it. In that way we can avoid looking time to time our coin of how is it doing and avoid selling too early and too late. Yeah trading is meant to get profit not to lose money so we should be cautious in our moves.
3923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast Bitcoin is spreading. on: November 25, 2017, 03:42:23 AM
Good thing to hear about your effort to share on btc, this is not an easy task, but CONGRATS you delivered it well, This things surely give big impact to virtual currencies. and i expect surprises in the upcoming days. I used to share my experience about btc to my friends i previous days and eventually without a doubt they register in the forum right away. Btc spreads fast.Smiley
The popularity credit is all goes to the people who invest in bitcoin is these some years in which bitcoin become more famous and the most important thing that the price of bitcoin increases, these are the reason that spread out bitcoin all over the world.

It's true and bitcoin has been in every lips of the people talking how great it is and how bitcoin can make someone's life changed. And we will see more for bitcoin as many things will surely be unfold like from being a scratch and now more valuable than gold. From nothing to everything so let's just hold as long as we can so we can live our life up to its fullest.
3924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin on: November 24, 2017, 07:39:47 AM
I think that the Eth are the best Altcoin well, at least for me and the reason for this is its growth and I think that in the near future it will not go down
What you say Is true, ethereum on the top biggest of altcoins today.
Others can argue that something such as Litecoin has a better chance of filling a need than Ethereum. Yet my feeling that says, ethereum is the best altcoin.

Just in that eth had already touch $400 and hope that this will continue until december, seems like eth showing up its power and don't want to left behind when bch skyrocketed last few weeks. And I'm very skeptical that it will reach $2000 within some few months now. Looks like we'll have a lot more merrier Christmas. Grin
3925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: November 24, 2017, 06:41:45 AM
Hello,

One answer : Improve your rank!

At least rank member or higher, you can now join signature campaign. Don't worry, it only take 3 months  Tongue Tongue

Or buy account rank member or higher rank.

Why we need to improve our rank?
To join signature campaign and get BTC easly.  Grin

I won't suggest this.

If your aim is just to improve your rank you'll be end up a great spammer here in the forum like you'll just post here and there without thinking if it's quality or a shit post because it's on your mind set that you need to rank up and have a higher pay.
This isn't for a long term move instead feed yourself of knowledge and make it a habit to read pinned post here and follow some pages in social media like cointelegraph just to keep you right on track and updated.

Just choose which path do you like.
3926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much capital to you day trade with? on: November 24, 2017, 03:16:34 AM
What sum of money do YOU day trade with? and how much profit do you expect to earn?

It would be interesting to know how much gains (if any), different traders make on a daily or weekly basis and what sort of capital they invest to try and profit.

Looking at many of of the exchanges, you see many alt coins going up by two digit gains so I would assume capital investment of between £1/5k on some of the ascending coins would bring back a decent return?

I like to put 0.5 Bitcoin in the trading account but I have most of that in orders that aren’t executed each day. So most of it is not actually used every day for trades but it is available for trading when the price is right for each particular coin I am trading. I basically wait for the right time to trade but I have orders in for my target prices on most cryptocurrencies I deal with.

I feel you. Like you're doing day trade but end up swing trade. Grin
Can't blame for the orders that sometimes there are much cheaper or much higher bid than you that's why I'm thinking now to move to swing trading as mostly of the whales are also into swing trading and I want to ride their pumps.
When I'm doing day trade I always start with 0.006btc and I close my day with at least 0.009 and it's not a bad day after all.
3927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: November 24, 2017, 01:47:48 AM
I was referred to check out coinsmarket by some members on the Embercoin discord chat. It is an awesome site. I plan on staking a few coins. Since my computer has been running slowly and I have to share with my flatmates, it will be extremely helpful. Cheers, coinsmarket, I am glad you guys are back.

How much do you earn from staking? I like the idea that you can actually stake from an exchange. How many more exchange do this? Do you know some more?

Only other staking exchange I know of is BTCPOP.CO

If anyone knows of any others please post here.

Thanks

I like the idea of staking from an exchange. What coins can you stake on coinsmarkets? Any ideas?

Yes coinsmarket.com is an staking exchange and I use it when I joined some POS airdrops like bitcoincash stake, litecoincash stake, USD and EUR. You need some balance to start staking in their own wallet then if you wanna sell it transfer it to coinsmarket.com
Almost of the POS coins are here and can be traded.
3928  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: November 23, 2017, 12:25:06 PM
My worst decision in bitcoin that i have ever made is i lose the half of my profit without noticing because i have been greedy that time and i lose my luck when i started to win in 4 streak then i keep playing without noticing that i have lose the half of my profit or bitcoin. From that time i learned that you should control yourself when you gamble.

Seems you've learned your lesson but in the hard way, or else you'll regret it afterwards as being greedy is no good for everyone.
My worst decision is for selling as quick as I can my adex, I don't remember how many and how much I sold it but I was surprised when it pump hard and I calculate it and realize if I just hold it for a while I'd maybe sitting now with a lot of profit. Just a prove that holding is real and profitable.
3929  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ShapeShift vs Changelly on: November 23, 2017, 09:32:13 AM
I do not know much about Changelly, but after what I have heard about it, I have no plans to move away from ShapeShift. I have used ShapeShift many times before and they have been my fastest method of exchanging currencies without a problem. They also have a really nice interface in contrast with Changelly and a better reputation. They are integrated into various other sites and wallets as well, which is always nice to have. For example, the Mist wallet for Ethereum allows for you to buy Ethereum easily.

I agree with that and I'm happy with shapeshift so I don't have any reason to find another. And yeah it supported some wallets like coinomi ( actually it also goes with changelly ) and it went smoothly with it and for the fees for converting coins to coins is totally low and even for transferring to other wallet considering have a fast transaction. Having it with me is a big relief as it never gives me a headache.
3930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: November 23, 2017, 08:40:01 AM
for longterm witn price accpect of 100 000 in few years would be btc the best

but i dont think that it would get so high.

i would/will invest to eth

Who knows? Bitcoin is unpredictable however that $100k won't happen in just a snap as it will surely take decades but what meant to happen will happen so keep our hopes to this.
Bitcoin and eth are great for investment so go for both and don't think twice. These two are already prove itself in the market as well as for the people who entrusted their life savings. Anyway, my portfolio mostly consist of btc and eth and I'm holding it for mid to long term.
3931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: November 23, 2017, 07:39:15 AM
So, I'm sure many of you have seen tipsters on this section, in your Twitter, in chatrooms and some other places - it's the people who suggest you to place bets on certain picks in sports. And maybe some of you have asked yourself a question - why they are doing it? Why they are giving us advises how to win money absolutely for free - and by doing this they decrease their own profit, since the winning pool grows bigger as people follow their tips. Can anyone explain this?

Some people giving tips as a friendly advice But some are just doing it because they want too. But for me l used to give tips even l don't know the people it's like lm happy when l share people to just to make them to be their best. I feel l help and l feel the joy inside my heart if l share whatever is in me.

Sharing is caring and as long as we share what we have and what we can goodness will continue to flow. And I don't see anything wrong about telling our strategies and techniques and it didn't actually make our profit lesser, who knows what can it does to somebody and it can change their lives.
3932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY or AIRDROPS ???? on: November 23, 2017, 03:00:08 AM
Airdrop is better. I remember my last altcoin bounty and it was terrible. I worked 2 weeks on posting and I still don't see any stakes on the spreadsheet  unlike joining all of the airdrops available that doesn't take an hour to register and you are sure that one of those will give you an equivalent of BTC.01-.04 after it pumps and you sold it.

I'm sure that you're talking airdrops before as those are really east way of earning but when airdrops are like mushrooms that pop up here they were nothing but a shitty coins. Many are taking the advantage of creating their coin so they can have an illegal fund raising, claiming they're legit and their roadmap is promising but to think they've used and fooled the people.
I admit I'm a huge fan of airdrops before but now I stay away from it and didn't expect that their coins will give me profit and this is the reality.
3933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 22, 2017, 07:04:13 AM
its late but not too much late...buy it as soon as possible before its too late
Yes I am late, but it does not mean that I cannot generate income with bitcoin, there is still more way to generate income with bitcoin. As buy some bitcoin today and hold it for a time when the value of bitcoin raised up in market use it. Another good way to generate high income is invest some bitcoin in good project, these will generate a good income for you future.

I don't think it's good for OP to invest his bitcoin in some project or ICO, a lot of scam and it will be hard for him, to think that instead of profiting he might just loss his money.
No one is too late here as long as an individual is willing to take the risk then he's good to go. Bitcoin price is constantly increasing and bear trap has ended and the bullish run is unstoppable as so the $10000 isn't a far fetch dream.
3934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: November 21, 2017, 11:03:54 AM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow
Trade with the ETH judging by your knowledge and experience, this will suit you for sure. Especially there you can start with a small amount, which is easy to get a beginner in any bounty project.

Sometimes I'm also using eth for my trading because there are some coins that are much cheaper when you use eth than btc and so I always check the rate before I start trading.
For me, start with small amount and just add little by little when you already profited and have a decent experience. They say just invest what you afford to lose but the thing is nobody want to lose a single penny so just start with small amount.
3935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever invested in an ICO? on: November 21, 2017, 09:12:34 AM
Invested several times and quite successfully. But it is very risky to invest money in projects as a lot of Scam and cheaper to buy tokens to exchange
same here, the last time I invested in an ICO, the project is good, the project become successful, but suddenly, when it appears on the exchanges, its price is so cheap, and not able to make it to its ico price, so instead of having a profit, i lose some of it.

This is not new in ICO tokens, expect that while the ICO is running there are many hypes and burst social media advertising and so as investors we think that this token is promising and the worst we buy again because we want a lot of profit afterwards. But the reality hits us when the token is listed in exchange and we got nothing but disappointed. Yeah before I'm a fan of ICO but now I stay away as long as I could.
3936  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 21, 2017, 08:10:12 AM
I heard people said that Bitcoin's profit is higher than profit of drug dealer, weapon dealers or profit of real property or any kind of stocks. Is that real ?

yes it is very real and can be proved a lot of bitcoin players who previously only mediocre now become rich because they understand about bitcoin price movements and take advantage of when the price is very high to sell and take profit.
Sometimes, the volatility make new peoplein bitcoin world lose their money, becausr they don't reslly believe in bitcoin, so they dell their bitcoin when anic selling happen because they are afraid to lose more, but like you said, people who understand bitcoin price movement can get big profit.
But volatility also makes people profit from bitcoins. The sudden swings of bitcoins going up has likely made a lot of people millions of dollars then they just sell at the top then buy back at the bottom. Volatility doesn't always mean that they are losing from their investments, likely a lot more people are profiting from the swings even if they bought at high prices, since bitcoins has increase so much in the past.

I agree and bitcoin's volatility makes more people get attracted and put themselves into this. Some people think and don't want to invest in bitcoin because there's no stable price and they're afraid that they'll might lose to it but the reality is vise versa, with bitcoin being volatile, it gives us profit that weren't expected and this is the thrills that people are looking for. That roller coaster ride that can give them chills to their bones.
3937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment regrets! on: November 21, 2017, 07:01:57 AM
So like most of us I wish I had had the time to notice bitcoin in its infant stages, I had the technical expertise and IT knowledge to mine when it came out but never knew it existed.

I wish while I did know about it that I had put the $3-600 down to buy one coin even last year. rather than slowly piecing together 1 coin right now.

is anyone in the same boat?

Yup same boat here. Your money would've double by now if you invested on buying 1 BTC. If I only knew bitcoins early on and bought a ton load of bitcoins I would've been a bitcoin millionaire and I would've been investing in ICOs.

Regrets here in crypto world is just around of the corner and we're all victims of not believing bitcoin before and there just few people who trust bitcoin early and sitting now in their huge profit. The price before isn't attractive and no one can really forsee its future but still I found myself fortunate by knowing bitcoin by this far as bitcoin is in the early stage of adoption and I think we're just less than 5% of the world population who just know crypto currency, isn't that we're lucky? So now I'm using its full extent of crypto currency.
3938  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: November 21, 2017, 02:19:41 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?
I think not only in saving they can learn to on how to do trading,  yes I believe that through bitcoin they can learn how to earn and save money but it's up to them if they want to know or learn to save..  Bit for me they should learn to save money
For kids to understand the working of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is difficult, so first we need to teach the basics of economics like what is investment, saving, profit and all to the kids once they understand that based on that we can teach savings by using bitcoin.
I agree! We should teach kids first the basic of investing and saving using paper money before investing in bitcoin because bitcoin different kind of invest and form of money. It may confuse them so its better if we teach them one step at a time.

That is true, like what I want to teach my kids is something like letting them have allowances and if they have excess they can give it to me and I would tell them that it can earn interest if they place the money with me. So they know that investing is a good thing and that learning it early on will prove to be something that can benefit them in the long run. Parenting is indeed hard, but as parents it's something as our duty.

Wow that's a good strategy brother. I'll try that when my kids grow up.
You know kids nowadays don't know how to value our money, they'll just ask whenever they want and spend it without knowing their parents work hard to earn it. So if we can teach our kids how to save, even not in bitcoin form ( but they'll surely get attracted in the price of bitcoin ) it's a big relief to their parents as they know even their kids grew up they know how to value and spend money wisely.
3939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2017, 05:29:33 AM
The current price is too high, and when it falls,i will buy it .

Just wait when some dips but don't wait too long or you'll just miss the ride.
Some people wait too long because they want to get maximum profit without knowing they could actually lose so just buy when you think that you can afford and when your guts told you so. Better to accumulate more bitcoin as many as you could and don't spend to unnecessary things.
3940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: November 18, 2017, 08:28:42 AM
Hope money will flow soon from bitcoin to altcoins. Bitcoin need price correction anyway

Eventually. 2018 year of the alt

I think we should put our hopes to high to alts that it can recover as soon as it can like it really hurts my eyes seeing my blockfolio that in blood bath. We always see that when bitcoin skyrocketed it leaves alts in the ground and many are almost curse their coins for giving them a big lose and end up selling just to cut their loses which isn't a good idea. So instead of mocking around, why not buy some alts that you can add and just keep your faith that over time it'll give a good profit.
