There are some massive bets being thrown down on trump. It seems like he has attracted all the betting action at every point of this election. Look at this one just today  Shocked

https://stake.com/sports?iid=sport%3A4134923&modal=sportBet
Pheww~

I may not lived in US but I can tell this guy activate the Trump Card. Cheesy

The lead is in Mr. Biden but it is still difficult to predict who will win.

Damn, that is a massive bet! Hopefully for him, he will win the bet, but all the polls are pointing to Biden to win.
A surprise could still happen, but I think it will be an (easy) win for Biden. I placed a 1$ bet on Biden to win  Grin.

Stake is a huge site to accept that huge bet, I think other crypto sportsbook would not accept that huge single bet.

Now I have a feeling that Trump is going to win this time again because he still remain an underdog.
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 02, 2020, 10:37:38 AM
My experience so far with multi bets: let me clarify that I usually bet for fun and I know I will never become rich with this  Grin
I do not bet on more than 5/6 games and I never bet more than 5$ equivalent (if betting with crypto). I try to mix games in order to achieve a max potential profit of $250 even though I go mostly for $100/150.

I'm comfortable with losing that amount if I'm betting on multibets, if I lose I can just move on to the next day and put my multi bet again. For single bet, should be higher than that as it's also boring to bet on small amount and win a small amount, you'll lose your interest in the long run as you are not gonna win all the time.
3963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 02, 2020, 10:09:49 AM
Just seen this.

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/boxing/762211/pacquiao-vs-mcgregor-won-t-be-as-big-says-floyd-mayweather/story/

Floyd Mayweather stated that the event will not be a big event without the involvement of Floyd Mayweather.

Do you think this fight can beat the 2nd highest selling PPV which is Conor vs Floyd?

There was a reason why the Floyd vs Conor fight could attract so much revenue ($600 million). Floyd was at his peak, and at that time Conor was also getting hyped in the MMA market. But the revenue distribution shows who is the boss. Floyd ended up with a paycheck of $275 million, while Conor received $100 million. So Floyd is right there. Neither Manny, not Conor can match his revenue generation power.

Floyd seem right, he is really popular, and anytime he fight he makes big money, we can't deny that.
In fact, Manny would not make the biggest payday of his career as a boxer if Floyd does not fight him, same goes with Floyd but this guy has been making big money already before he fought Manny. His name was even change from Pretty Floyd to "Money", because he literally makes money.
3964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: November 02, 2020, 08:03:18 AM
Seems fine. Multi bets are not bad,  Grin. as different on my comment above, I think multi bets are good when having a minimum balance and want to bet on the favorite team.
No, it's not easy to just think you'll win when betting on the favorite team.
We just have to respect everyone's style in gambling, some wants to do multi bet while some just stick to single bets, besides we cannot boost as most of us here are losers in overall, we maybe lucky sometimes but let's try to review our overall performance and we will be surprise.

I had experienced it in Futuur and get my asset back in one night. or maybe I get luckier when a single bet?.
You just go lucky, but luck is not consistent and it does not come most of the time.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 02, 2020, 07:48:05 AM
Warriors will not be able to use number two draft pick properly that is obvious, they are not going to get someone who will change the team like crazy, it is going to be a rookie and it is going to take a time for that rookie to be even decent, this is not a year where the top draft could change a team suddenly, there is no Doncic or Trae or Zion in this draft hence that draft pick doesn't worth much.
I'd like to agree with this possible drafting decision of GSW. Probably other teams would focus to other veterans that can add power to their team.

Like the example of Melo. Almost no team wants to take him until the last minute then made the team got a good progress on the bubble.

We will see if Melo is really something helpful for the Blazers as last season the Blazers have struggle.
Now, they are complete, they got their Center back, so hopefully Melo, McCulum, and Lillard would be able to bring this team to the playoffs again.

I don't see any improvement when they don't give a good fight with the Lakers.
They got almost sweep by the defending champion now.
I forgot how long his contract with them.

But I'm sure that he's still one of those big contributors to the team. Mad respect for the guy, this thread is a witness how hard he went through being a choice of a team.

Almost there's no team that wanted to him before.

It says for the rest of the season (last season)>

https://www.kgw.com/article/sports/nba/blazers/carmelo-anthony-blazers-guaranteed-contract/283-11fb168f-02a4-4519-8932-c84083cacbdb

Quote
PORTLAND, Ore. — It appears new Portland Trail Blazers fan favorite Carmelo Anthony will remain with the team for the rest of the season.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Blazers will make Anthony’s contract fully guaranteed for the rest of the season. The deal is worth $2.15 million, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

We don't know his status now since that season was already over, or there maybe some fresh news out there that I didn't read but one thing I'm certain is that his salary is not really his usual salary so if he will get signed again by the Blazers, that might significantly improve.
3966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves - is a Scam and fraud? on: November 02, 2020, 06:54:22 AM
Op has just created the thread once after losing. This is out of frustration and this might've happened with him for the very first time. He had gone inactive last June. Waves is a good platform, which has got its usage in all sectors. If it is a scam or fraud project now it could've got a several scam accusations. The profitability out of waves in comparison to its initial launch price is very big and now it sits at 42nd position with good market volume.

Sometimes we really see people accusing a project as a scam once they lost money on it.
Even before when bitcoin dump at below $5,000, I've read a lot of comments saying bitcoin is a scam, but where are we now, isn't it bitcoin is so bullish.

Waves may not as successful as other project but it has its successful time, the problem maybe is that we fail to pull the trigger and we choose to be greedy.
3967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 02, 2020, 06:35:58 AM
I meant to say, Pacquiao accepted the fight as the current situation in Philippines fighting the coronavirus pandemic will help the country as we all know that the last match Mayweather earned roughly $275 million and $100 million in total for McGregor.

This amount is too huge given the current situation, and that fight between Conor and Floyd, there was a gate entrance, at the current situation, it's not possible, so the number will certainly go down, at least we should not expect that high, but it's still money.
3968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: November 01, 2020, 01:13:51 PM
Its a success as long as both players and the fans felt the same excitement of the game. Even during these times of adjustments things need to continue especially the sports industry as long as health all protocols are followed games are good to continue.
True, adjustment is necessary and be realistic in facing the situation, if fans will understands players will still feel the same joy they felt before the pandemic. We are all adjusting here as the covid-19 is still here, we can't get loose and with proper protocol, we will be able to enjoy while being safe at the same time.

The only difference now is that no fans are allowed in an arena but as long as it's televised which most of us fans have an access, nothing change a lot, it's still fun IMO.
3969  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAKE dice2.win on: November 01, 2020, 12:47:06 PM
Thank you, this is very helpful, I think we can dedicate one thread for this so we will see all the summary of the fake or duplicate gambling sites.

It would take some effort but it's very helpful and easy to find IMO.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 01, 2020, 11:48:18 AM
Safe bets yes, match fixing should be safe, but that is not something you wanna do.
This is 100% safe but only 1% chance of finding this information.

And if you look for safe bets, it really depends on what you definition of the word safe is, basically no bet is safe that is why it is a bet Smiley

Bet with most chances are 1.01 but then you have to make a lot of bets to get a profit and hope you wont get hit.
Safe bets in reality does not exist in sports betting, you can claim or convince yourself that your bet is safe but it still does not guarantee a win.
We are the only one thinking it's safe, but if we open our eyes and be realistic, we will know the sad truth.
3971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: November 01, 2020, 11:10:00 AM
The coach becomes the assistant coach of his ex-player.
This is something weird but let's see what will happen.
Mike D'Antoni reunites with Steve Nash as Nets' assistant coach
New Brooklyn Nets coaching staff.
1. Head Coach - Steve Nash (former Suns 2-consecutive time season MVP)
2. Asst. Coach - Ime Udoka (former asst. coach of 76ers) - specialized in defense
3. Asst. Coach - Mike D'Antoni (former Rockets coach and Suns coach of Steve Nash) specialized in offense
4. Player Devt Assistant - Amar’e Stoudemire (former Suns played with Steve Nash and coached by D'Antoni)

Look at this Brooklyn team, they are now fully packed and ready for war.  Grin

Wow, I like the coaching staff.

An assistant coach specialized in defense and they also got D'Antoni who specialized in offense, great combination.
It's Steve Nash first head coaching job, it must be a pressure on his side, hoping for his success here.

I remember Jason Kidd's first head coaching job, it was a success but later things weren't going at a good path.
3972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 31, 2020, 12:38:37 PM
To be honest, in most cases I don't. But I avoid new gambling sites without reputation or with any suspicious feature. It's not a good habbit and TOS should be always read to avoid any misunderstanding or unpleasant situation later.

If we don't read the TOS, we would not know if there's a changes on it, like they added or omit on the original.
I agree with you that most of us does not read TOS, we just want to do things automatic so we are looking to gamble instead of reading TOS.

Quote
But it's like a contract when you sign up, and you agrees with it, so it's necessary to read most especially if you are a bettor who risk big amount of money. But just like with any other site I believe that most people don't read it but when some problems appear they can't say they were not aquatinted with TOS because they are on every site.

We will probably have a hard time once we will be at this stage, let's just hope there will be no problem.
3973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: October 31, 2020, 12:24:23 PM
Etherium project is very strong. Now a days etherium has become the hot topic.Price pump day by day. But the main obstacle is the transection fee.
Transection fee is very high. People are seeking alternative of ETH.

ETHEREUM does not grow like it usually do in the past, hot topic? I don't think so, it was not evident on its price, can't even hit $500 half of its ATH when bitcoin is starting a good run already, and going to reach its new high this year.

seeing bitcoin at $15,000 a huge success already, if ETH wants to grow also, it needs to reach at least $750.

For now, altcoins are dropping while bitcoin is strongly going upward.

3974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 31, 2020, 10:00:53 AM
However, not this time maybe as there's a lot more important things to do than this fight, and during the pandemic there was no crowd, so less money.
With this kind of fight, they badly needed PPV just like what's the outcome of the Mayweather-McGregor fight wherein they generated $600M on that and I guess this anticipated fight between PacMan and The Notorious will do the same but I am not expecting it will be that huge until the situation goes better.
To be honest with you, Pacman and McGregor fight will never generate the funds as McGregor fight with Mayweather Jr and Mayweather himself also confirmed it. Besides, he said his fight with McGregor was a bank robbery due to the money he bagged through the fight but if McGregor and Pacman create some kind of hype conversation before the fight, it may gain the attention of boxing fans.

Yeah, it's very different, fans buy tickets that time to see Floyd and hope that he will lost, while for Pacquiao, fans are going to watch because they wanted to see him whoop McGregor's ass. But it can generate close to Floyd's number though, but I don't think Pacquiao can surpass the numbers in terms of PPV and live gates generated. So this fight will have to wait, till the pandemic is over or at least fight fans can watch in live.
Close? how close, if I'm not mistaken based on what I read here, the Mayweather vs Conor McGregor generated $600 million, more or less, I don't think this fight would generate at least $500 million, to say it close.

Manny's net worth according to https://www.sportekz.com/boxing/manny-pacquiao-net-worth/ is $375 Million, so if they will make $500 in this fight and Manny will get a bigger slice of the cake, that's bigger than what he made during his fight against Mayweather.

For everyone's information, Manny made $150 million during his fight with Mayweather and that fight generated almost the same amount Mayweather vs McGregor fight generated. In short, Mayweather here is the one bringing money to the fight and we can see that in his previous fights.
3975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 31, 2020, 09:35:09 AM
It turns out that many choose a single bet, definitely because they are eyeing a big win. Though I love multi bet, because I believe multi bet
can increase our chances of winning.
No, it's not like that, multi be in reality will lower your chances of winning compared to single bet, maybe big winning but you need to be lucky to do that.

By betting on several matches, usually one of them will work. To reduce the risk, multi bet can stake with
less amount. Even though the profit I made from multi bet was smaller than the single bet. But for me playing multi bet is more interesting,
because it is more challenging.
Huh? your statement seem to be different to what everyone are thinking and experiencing.

Multi bet results to bigger win due to high odds, single bet lower win due to lower odds, should work that way.
Unless you are betting $1000 for a single bet and 1$ for a multi bet.

This helps the warriors I guess because they are looking for a great shooters and Kelly Oubre has been an underrated offensive and defensive player.

Warriors Trade Rumors: Kelly Oubre Believed to Interest GS Ahead of NBA Draft

Quote
Phoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre is a potential trade target for the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell.

"The name that keeps popping up when you talk to people is Kelly Oubre," Friedell said Wednesday on The Jump. "Can they get him in? What would they have to give up? They have the trade exception for Andre Iguodala as well that expires here in a little bit."
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 29, 2020, 11:03:15 AM
I think it has been moved since McGregor wants a rematch with Dustin Poirier and I've been reading his tweets looks like it will still be a long way to go before we see the fight between them (PacMan vs. The Notorious). I think it's for best to lock the thread until the fight is nearing, never read some news lately and I miss it has already been extended and it looks like McGregor is really an enigma where he would really want to be if it's on UFC or on boxing.

You can read here the full story: https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/10/ufc-news-dustin-poirier-conor-mcgregor-wants-rematch-manny-pacquiao-preparation/
https://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/30190173/ufc-options-vacant-lightweight-title-include-conor-mcgregor-vs-dustin-poirier

Lots of threads that are still open even the fight is not close to happening anymore.
I think it's best to keep this thread open so we can see an update here, besides both are interested to fight each other, they are just waiting for the right timing.
3978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: October 29, 2020, 05:16:21 AM
ICO numbers is as yet expanding however their quality and dependability are diminishing.
That's correct, it's the reality that some still failed to figure out, I would bet, it's hard to find a successful ICO in 100 ICOs, that's the rate, so even at 1% success rate, I would still hesitate to give that based on the current situation, in short, ICO's popularity are over.
3979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 29, 2020, 04:43:27 AM
I think this people has lack of patience that is why they tend to give up easily with the technical movements of bitcoin. They wanted to get profits so quick and obviously they don't want to hodl their bitcoins for too long, or maybe there are just an extreme need of money that's why they need to sell their digital currency quickly. Perhaps this people have their own reasons behind giving up so early and we should just respect them. This act will make them realized about holding their assets though, for greater profits in the future and they will surely learn somehow.
Probably lack of knowledge too, if they are knowledgeable, they would understand what bitcoin is, its nature and its potential, hence they will not be afraid of holding long because those investors who are enjoying their profit now are those who really trust the world "HODL".

I think Lebron is the second greatest and MJ the greatest of all time.  Has nothing to do with personal bias, simply what I've seen with my own eyes.

Well, for me, in the top 3, I will put Lebron in the last, just what I see also.

Here's how I rank them.

1- Michael Jordan
2-Kobe Bryant
3-Lebron James

Even MJ have spoken.  lol
