3961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 24, 2021, 12:07:58 AM
^^ Yes, I remember that there were talks about Linares as well fighting Garcia. Maybe the camp of Garcia see Linares as real threat and it could derail the plans of Ryan, LOL. So that's why they chooses an easy route on Fortuna.

Now it's Haney that needs to prove to boxing fans that he can defeat a dangerous although older Linares. If may have soften Haney before facing Garcia. So good call from Ryan camp to skip Linares and let Haney deal with Jorge.
3962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 23, 2021, 11:48:45 PM
The first surprise this day, Rublev lost his game at the Tie Break. Nadal and Tsitsipas clearly won their games. I also think Schwartzman will win his game now, will the game be broadcast where on FreeTv?

Edit: After the first set, it looks good for Schwartz man and the half final.

Ok, so the punters are right, they put Sinner as the slight favorite over Rublev.

So it will be Sinner vs Tsitsipas on the other side of the semis.

Schwartzman did lost to Carreno Busta in the 3rd set. So now him and Nadal.

Will be interesting again what will be the outcome, but I will go with my boy Tsitsipas vs Nadal in the finals.
3963  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 23, 2021, 01:20:45 AM
The latest news is that Bob Arum has revealed that the fight will indeed take place in Saudi Arabia. The final details are still not decided but the date of this fight will be in late July or early August. I'm sure the British fans will be disappointed they can't attend this event but it would be crazy to turn down the amount of money the Saudis are willing to offer.

Exactly, it's all for the money baby!!! We all know that there are a lot of billionaires in Saudi that is willing to pour their money just to host this kind of big fights, regardless if we have the pandemic or not.

So I don't have any complains about it, as long as they fight will happen this year so be it.

It will be interesting though the Eddie Hearn has agreed to a reported 9 figure deal with DAZN. And ending his almost 10 years relationship with Sky Sports.

3964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 5 on: April 23, 2021, 12:59:47 AM
The latest update on this fight is that it is expected to be rescheduled for June 5th.
https://theathletic.com/news/floyd-mayweather-vs-logan-paul-planned-for-june-5-sources/lGOVOpJtN4JJ

With a 50 pound advantage in weight and 6 inches in height it might be worth considering putting some money on Logan Paul.
Nah, I don't think it will be enough to upset Floyd. He hasn't been touch by any boxer that he has face before, professional one so I doubt that Logan Paul can even get close to Floyd. Plus we all know how defensive genius Floyd is, when you think you got him, he will suddenly change stance, putting you on uncomfortable position.

What's he gonna do with 50 lbs advantage? tie Floyd in the corner and put all his weight on him?

Floyd Mayweather is now 44 years old. Even McGregor was able to touch him a few times, and that was nearly 4 years ago. Logan just has to be as good of a boxer as McGregor. What do you think will happen when a 200 pound fighter connects on Floyd? Logan doesn't have to be great, physics and brute strength are in his favor.

You can't compare Floyd's fight with Conor, and I think majority will agree to me that Floyd let him brush by Conor, to make it as entertaining as possible and let the fans get their money's worth. Doesn't matter what's Floyd age though, he is one of the most defensive boxers we have in this generation and I doubt that Logan can hit Floyd cleanly. Floyd will only allow someone to hit it, just to test the power. But after that Floyd will take over. Physics and brute force against a defensive talent, take your pick.
3965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 23, 2021, 12:26:29 AM
Good games from the favorites, I think Nadal, Tsitsipas, Schwartzman and Rublev will wins an come to the semi-finals in my opinion. Tsitsipas will still be buoyant and confident with the win in Monte Carlo. Tomorrow will be an exciting day in the quarterfinals.

I think Nadal has the easiest match here, he will be against Corrie.

Tsitsipas will be up against Felix Auger Aliassime, this is going to be tricky but I think Stepanos will have the tools to beat Felix here in straight sets.

Now the interesting match, Sinner vs Rublev, two of the hottest tennis player we have right now hard to see who will win in this play.
3966  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: April 22, 2021, 11:42:46 PM
i believe even if bitcoin drops a bit in a month, bitcoin will still hit 100k by end of year! let me know what you guys think

50/50 in my opinion. Of course we wanted to see Bitcoin hits $100,000 by the end of the year. But there are a lot hurdles and bumps a long the way. And to be able to get to that price, we need more institutional money to enter the market, and of course the us retail investors as well.

So many 'experts' have predicted a possible 6 digit, so we will have to wait and see. I would say let's be optimistic that it could be breach this year.
3967  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Is Crypto Black Day? on: April 22, 2021, 01:03:48 AM
Hi

As you you, no market can be bullish or bearish permanent. so when is the Crypto black day? Plz explain with reasons.

So far though, the market will remain extremely bullish despite the current FUD or misinformation that is coming out. And with that said, this bullish cycle might continue up to the end of the year, wherein so many experts see that price hitting $100,000 before we might see a decline.

So for now, very bullish, market is greedy, lots of money are flowing and entering the picture. And we might hear another Tesla like company investing on Bitcoin this year, to hedge their balance sheet against inflation.
3968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At $7.5 Dogecoin will be more valuable than BTC on: April 22, 2021, 12:36:01 AM
It's coming quick, Doge will go to $3 easily in the coming weeks, then to $7 is no problem, after that it will be BIGGER than BTC,

Which means that the most valuable crypto on earth, actually admits it a no-value scam, and doesn't even hide, while all along BTC has lied about its utility

LOL, are you serious or just a complete troll? How long have you been crypto to say that Doge will become bigger than Bitcoin?

Funny the JOKE crypto is more valuable than the 'holy crypto', but the fact is the holy crypto is a worthless dinosaur propped up by a few geriatric whales; dogecoin of course is also owned in majority by just a few people, but at least they're not lying to their buyers

Again, it seems that you are misconstrued about Bitcoin and Dogecoin. Yeah, worthless and dinosaur and yet it is still the top coins. I have nothing against Doge, but sooner or later it will be dump and I do hope that you won't get trap.
3969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 22, 2021, 12:08:40 AM
Let's stop discussing that, let's discuss more on the speculation of this fight, will it gonna be happening soon or not?

Well I'm sure we all do hope that the fight will push through this year, we have been wanting to see Manny fight again. Unfortunately, we haven't heard anything from both sides specially Arum or Crawford, it seems that there are black out news as far as this fight goes.

So it's either they are still talking behind, back and forth negotiations or the fight has died down.
3970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 21, 2021, 11:43:18 PM
I wasn't able to watch the match but yeah he defaulted the game because of the verbal abuse, not a stranger though, as far as I can remember he has similar instances in the past.

Been supporting Tsitsipas since he break out of the scene, because I believed that he has something special in this kid. And no I'm not Greek by any means, LOL. I'm from Asia, but feel in love with tennis so I supported anyone regardless of race or nationality.
3971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 21, 2021, 01:53:32 AM
Market is so volatile so expect that we have bad trends coming just like what happen last days but we cannot expect more huge dumps just like what happen before since there are big institutions are backing up bitcoin and just like what many expect bitcoin price regains its foot and goes back at $55,000 level, few steps ahead and we will get back at $60,000 again which is still high possibility to happen this year. But I'm still not closing the thought's about dumping more so lets just see what will happen next to its movement.
Yeah, the recent dumps was due to floods in China where some of bitcoin mining got interrupted; I do see this as big relief because bitcoin market just moved for a reason and I was expecting market to be moving upward for a new ATH but suddenly we had a drop which lasted up to $51k. This way I believe OP must be too true. Yes, bitcoin market is strongly holding above $50k levels and there could be very very less chances to dip below $50k levels as of now. Right now bitcoin market is trading above $55,700 levels which should be considered as a good buying point for all long term holders for the target of $100k.
And to add up, this was because of this event.

https://u.today/this-tweet-just-erased-288-billion-from-crypto-market-cap

The tweet had been already deleted or not avialable.
https://twitter.com/Fxhedgers/status/1383611847144730626

FUD is never a new thing.

Just discuss this fud to my friends earlier and we didn't believe about that tweet since we know its a manipulative act by the whales to create panic to the weak hands and seems they are pretty much effective since successfully move the market for just spreading that fake information. So for newbie traders better to learn from this since if they keep listening to more upcoming fuds they will lose more money if they will get panic easily.

We haven't heard anything about it after this tweet, so for now we should threat this as sort of FUD to sow on noobs investors so that they will panic and push the sell button. It's just sad though that many are still affected by this FUD.

We shouldn't listen to them anymore, this is 2021, we should all have matured enough to learn that they are still people who wanted to bring the market so that they can buy cheap bitcoin agains through manipulation like this.
3972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wrong? on: April 21, 2021, 12:24:37 AM
Since Gates last appreciation regarding crypto back in 2018 when he said that he would short BTC if there was and easy way to do it, Bill Gates recently described Bitcoin as a mania/bubble so he is still pessimistic, while others like Elon Musk have revealed that they believe not only BTC could rise exponentially in value.

Who's right? Let's discuss.

Neither, you have to ask your self, what is the effect of these billionaires for average joe like us? That's right, we shouldn't be get affected by it, we make our own decision not base on Bill Gates or Elon Musk. So there's no need to discuss who is right or wrong.

Bitcoin has evolved already, others have been calling Bitcoin's demise for many years and yet the price today has reach an all time high of $60k and we are on the way to get to 6 digits.
3973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China gives bitcoin stamp approval as investment alternatives on: April 21, 2021, 12:02:03 AM
Isn't the people of China not allowed to have a cryptocurrency because it is banned and only the government can have bitcoin? I am pretty sure that it won't affect it that much but we maybe it will affect it a little but who knows.

As far as I can remember, bitcoin and other crypto are not ban in China.

But regarding this statement though, it contradicts themselves, they love other crypto and most altcoins and not BTC. So I will take everything with a grain of salt any news coming from China regarding bitcoin (like Russia). Investment alternatives? China’s Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID) ranks bitcoin #7 (https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-crypto-ranking-china/).
3974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 20, 2021, 11:42:04 PM
I thought that match was going to be closer. Tsitsipas played some great tennis.
Rublev seemed nervous and tried his power game which didnt work.

I agree, Rublev is nervous, I don't know if there is pressure on his shoulder to win this tournament. While Tsitsipas is very relax and confident.

Tsitsipas is really growing and climbing the world rankings. He along with
some of the other younger generation are getting closer to  challenging the top three
more regularly and breaking the spell they have especially in the grand slams.

Many have predicted that Tsitsipas will really one of the big tennis players that will come. Unfortunately the big 3 is still on the field that's why they always lost to them in grand slam. But he is still very young and for sure will always be in the top 5 in the rankings.

Tsitsipas still has time to fully mature as a player as he is only 22 years old and most players start to hit their peak at around 24-25 so he still has a couple more years before we see him as a top player and start winning grand slams on a consistent basis like we see with the big 3. I think Tsitsipas is in a very good position right now as he continues to work on he's game and become a top 3 player which I think we'll see in the near future.

Yes, he is still very young at 22 years old, but we have seen years ago and been calling him that this kid is something special and that he can really be the future of tennis when the big 3 has left. Although from time to time he disappoint us, but for sure I'm been riding with him and have won and lost some money.

And when he peaks or reaches his prime, it will be good to see him against his contemporaries, and we may see some rivalries building up and that makes tennis interesting when we see them facing each other more often in the finals.
3975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 19, 2021, 12:22:29 AM
Ryan Garcia is quite new to this field but he has huge potential. He only needs more matches to prove his skills and this fight against Fortuna is a good opportunity for him to build a good status in the boxing field. This fight will surely be a good match and it's honestly unpredictable.

Ryan Garcia started his professional fight since 2016, I don't call it new.

https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/765995

He maybe young but had many experience already, so I don't doubt him if he would want to go with a tougher match, maybe after this.

He also has a extensive amateur background, so his life really evolves around boxing that's why you will see how animated this kid are in the ring that most of the time we think that he is arrogant and boastful and very proved of his accomplishments. But I would say that it is natural because he live and breathes through boxing. So it is not unpredictable, Ryan Garcia will be the favorite to win this fight.
3976  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 18, 2021, 11:46:11 PM
After the short squeeze that happened on Sunday, I think that you should reassess your analysis Op. The fall was sharp from $62k to $51600 and it was near $50k, so breaking it down again is not a big deal for the shorts. Some say it was a funding fee reset, others say that US Treasury may charge some financial institutions for conducting money laundering through the use of cryptocurrencies.

Yes, I read that someone tweeted about US financial body investigating on exchanges about money laundering that really fuel this flash crash on a weekend. Imagine that, when we are all relaxing with our family suddenly the market goes down very hard because of this unfounded news.

So we almost visited $50,000 again, but thanks to those strong hands, they didn't bulged-in, never moved their position and the price is holding almost 18 hours after billions of dollars have been wiped out. Let's wait till the dust settled in the next 6-10 hours and see the effect of this negative news.
3977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 18, 2021, 10:46:06 PM
Its nice to see two young talented players make the final. Stefanos Tsitsipas has not really had much competition in this tournament however he has played well without losing a set. I think this is he's time to shine and step up to become a more consistent player and when tournament finals but it won't be an easy match as Rublev has also been in good form and even upset Nadal so he will have all the momentum going into the final and confidence to win. Its going to be a great match.

Exactly, he seems to be very comfortable with clay court and been playing very well in this tournament. But the last time they fought, Stepanos lost to Rublev, so it's a revenge game for him. It will be very tough one for Tsitsipas here, Rublev is slight favourite as per odds, nevertheless I will put a bet on Stepanos ML @2.05 boosted, and goodluck to all bettors.

I do hope you put your money on Tsitsipas as he won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.

Tsitsipas race on a comfortable lead in the first set and never get Rublev a chance to rally, he break early and that's what he needed to keep his momentum going. If I'm not mistaken, he hasn't drop a set in this tournament entering the finals.

You bet I did:

Tsitsipas is very confident in clay court, as you have said, he started very quick and fast in the 1st set of the match. First 1000 Masters for him, congrats and good win. Julia Apostoli, Stepanos mom, also won in Monte Carlo years ago.
3978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 18, 2021, 01:24:51 PM
I am waiting on this fight to release in the betting site so that I will be able to bet on Ryan Garcia or what they called King Ryan of the ring. King Ryan will be the crowd choice for sure in which he is really so popular although Javier Fortuna is also popular but if it will be based on the record then the vote of the people will be to King Ryan and for me also I think he will be the one to win in this fight. Still waiting for this fight to be release in the betting sites.

Are you going to bet on ML for King Ryan? because for sure it won't be that attractive once sports betting sites release the initial odds. So I would advise you to wait for more betting odds instead of rushing on your bet, just saying.

Other betting odds such as per round would be good for Ryan, I'm expecting Ryan to be 1.1x-1.3x favourite early when the lines open.

yeah, am guessing sportsbooks will give such range of odds that you wont bother placing your bet on because it is not worth to place with. the per round odds maybe more attractive for bettors.
once these bookies released their odds, we will know what are their sentiments towards this fight. but more then likely, garcia will be the heavy favourite here.

It's a given fact, Garcia will be the favourite.

It's just a question on what round will he going to ko Fortuna. Javier's chin is not that durable, it has been broken, and with the way Garcia is throwing his favorite left hook, Javier's chin is going to crack under pressure here.
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 18, 2021, 12:43:38 AM
What's the lowest do you guys think BTC dominance will touch down to? 50% or lower?

Questions:

- Once btc rallies to next leg up to $70k then will that mean btc dominance will recover and from there will alts go sideways or go down in price?

Hard to predict, but I would say it will likely follow Bitcoin's patter, so another bull run cycle for majority of the top alts.

- Once btc stops at $70k and go sideways between $60-70k like it is doing now between $50-60k then will btc lose dominance and its alt season again for another month or longer right till btc takes the next leg up to $80k right?

It's possible as well, but we all know how the market works, very volatile, as far as dominance, will remain the same, but I would rather see it in the 50% range.

- If everyone expects btc to top $100k in this bull market then from my calculations if bitcoin is doing this every $10k leg up predictable pattern that is every $10k leg up for btc then it goes sideways for a month or so then we have remaining 3-4 alt seasons left in this year before everything crashes into the new following bear market right?

Again, as Bitcoin's narrative has change, so is the fundamental price movement, so meaning, it could happen, what's important is that altcoin is also having a good bull run, almost all of the top 10 coins have achieved their all time high already and then some.
