how much eth do you got in a day? how much the hashrate? i really curious about your mining cards.

29.3 MH/s with power limit on 50, which would amount to 90 watts from the wall after factoring an 80+ efficiency PSU

I'm gradually raising the memory clocks up to find the highest stable hash rate I can make with the power limit on 50. Right now 29.3 is the mean hash rate

did you tried with a power limit under 50%? it become too unstable?

Memory gets odd when nearing 800. I got a severely laggy and frozen screen a few times pushing 800 with the power limit on normal when I first started mining ETH. It seems like 560-600 is where you can achieve a clean stable 29 hash rate but yet going to 800 hardly raises the rate and the hash rate is instable since the core clock is fluctuating too much. I forgot what the memory was on at the time but I found that setting the core clock offset from -200 to -175 managed to stabilize the core clock. I've observed a trend with core clock fluctuations and hash rates. Stablizing the core clock can sometimes make a hash rate bouncing around fix right to the higher value.

As for problems at 800 memory, maybe it was only because the power limit was normal allowing the core clock to get too high with the memory. I'm just upping the memory slowly through the days and setting it back a bit over night to make sure it keeps mining the long hauls.

so you have not tried with 45% power limit? and yes mem after 600 and up to 1000 just make nice artifact and that's it, i would avoid overclocking too much to not damage the gpu in the long run

there are already private steem gpu miners out there? someone maybe is already working on it

usually with those new coin there is a big profit at th beginning to ignore it

specs algo? you need to work better on your OP if you want to attract more people, looks very bland...
3965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 13, 2016, 06:37:54 AM
Nvidia mining is almost non existent, look at that lbc nethash. Not so much to expect from these pascal owners.

there are no giant farm for nvidia, that i'm aware of, maybe only sp has 100 nvidia gpu or something
3966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH on nVidia finally work...(win10+GTX 1070) on: August 12, 2016, 07:24:18 PM
yeah and you can tweak it to the unbelievable level of 80-90w for 30MH, just decrease the core and the power limit and increase the mem

no other card can match this result at the moment, i'm still laughing at those saying that 1070 was trash in etheruem...

If only a 1070 didn't cost more than the price of a couple of 970, I would have surely took one, except if you, Amph, can advise me to take a 1070 instead of the couple of 970 I'm planning to buy.

i personally don't like living in the past when it come to IT or HW in general, the only reson to buy a 970 would be if your budget is low and your electricity is very very cheap

otherwise we are talking about 30MH at 80-90w against 44MH at 300w

Me, that's the inverse, I tend to prefer old tech for its finished improvements and its low price. I really don't care of Ethereum, this is just a backup option. On other algorithms, is the level consumption gap so big ? I doubt about it. Also, two 970 surely craft more coins daily than a single 1070.

on other coins the 1070 is even better than a 970, a 970 can barely do 150MH on lybry, for 300w or more a single 1070 can do almost 300MH with half the wattage...

Yeah, for LBRY, that you seem to like pretty much, the gap is wide, but for something like Groestl, Neoscrypt or LyraRE2V2, can the fact that a 1070 is more than 2x more expensive compensate the gain in hashrate and the reduction in power consumption ? Also, can the 1060, given that's there only about 60$ of difference from a 970 and better performances, be the best compromise ?

lyra2v2 is the same 22MH for a 970, 40MH for a 1070, i don't know at the moment about groestl, for neos is different, 750 against 1000, i suspect there can be improvement there, from drivers side, because on linux a 1070 can do 1200KH

1060 seems worse than expected, it's not scaling well with the 1070, on most algo

3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How will this change the world of mining?? GTX 1080 / 1070 on: August 12, 2016, 10:27:15 AM
So I finally got Win 10 Anniv Update + 369.09 + Genoil 1.1.7. However my 1080 FE is only mining 20 MH/sec. Is this expected? I'm seeing posts above about the 1070 getting 25. Is my batch file screwed up?

1080 has different type of memory. Its actual speed is 1250 vs 2000 in Gtx 1070. May be this is the reason.

1080 is bad for Ethereum as it has slow memory. But it is good  for other algorithms as it has more processors.

the true king is the 1070, good at everything, really the best card, and it's not that expensive, it's already around $400 or lower in some case

I will recieve my first pascal cards today. Don't expect much opensourcing, but I might do some private kernals. Yesterday I took a look at the tvpruvot SIA coin implementation, and I managed to add a few percent as usual. Smiley Removed sharedmem, added atomic operations, improved the uint2 implementation. (reduced the # of instructions), tuned for Win x86 cuda 7.5. My modded kernal is more profitable than lyra2v2 and lbry on the maxwell now..

how much hashrate on lyra2v2, lbry and spreadcoin for your pascal kernel?

..which is that "mona" , you are mining , mate ?

i'm not mining monacoin, i'm with lbry, since lbry is still by far the most profitable with a 1070

but monacoin is the second most profitable, always with a 1070

current situation is this, with a 1070, lbry 800k satoshi a day, mona 500k and ethereum 450k

Are you using SP-MOD for lbry? Also, what is your hashrate with 1070?

Thanks.

no i'm using last epsylon build 1.8, hashrate is around 265MH with 145w, but you can do 180w 290MH or near 300MH, i prefer the first option, to maintain the gpu fresh

I'm mining with GTX 1060, 175 MH/s at 75% TDP. Will try to OC probably.

Forgot to ask, how much coins do you get per hour?

like 5 per hours, anyway 175 for the 1060 isn't that great i was expecting near 200MH, since the 1070 is only 33% faster if i'm not mistaken

No payment so far, and no bonus either (but 2 bitcoins had been credited to the campaign wallet yesterday)...

Hey, Marco, Mr(s). Amph decided to give his(her) bonus to me, don't forget about it. lol

lol i don't remember to have promised this

joke aside they are not even responding to our concern? like "who care?"...

something is clearly wrong on the reward, like 30% is wasted some times, going by math i should get 140 coins per day instead only 90-100 are in my wallet...

since this trend is there sinc e the beginning, i can say without doubt that this is not about bad luck
3975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone yet used any RX 470/460 to mine Ethereum/Ethereum Classic? on: August 11, 2016, 12:44:54 PM
110w for 22mh is okish, considering that a nano can do 80w 23MH and a 1070 can do 30MH with 90w or less, yes they cost double of a single 470, but the efficiency is welcome for me
3976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone yet used any RX 470/460 to mine Ethereum/Ethereum Classic? on: August 11, 2016, 10:53:36 AM
I use the PowerColor Red Devil Radeon™ RX 470 4GB GDDR5
http://www.powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=615

I am getting 22MH
http://imgur.com/a/QpgNY

Nice to hear that as mine is coming tomorrow same card!
Stock setting for 22?
What's your power usage?

It's factory default settings. No OC.
I'm not testing power usage yet.

I use the WattMan to tweak the power limit.
Power usage is about 100w.

you need to add the wattage from the pcie i remember that gpu-z does not show it

does anyone have a card dropping to 0 mh? I have a reference evga 1070 that drops to 0 mh periodically. windows 8.1

yeah same, with this version, it was working fine before

btw lyra2v2 is not on par with r10 version of nanashi, one is 40MH the other 35MH, your version
3979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: August 11, 2016, 05:54:46 AM
well it's not the case, mona on average in one of the most profitable currently, after lbry, just look at whatomine, it seems that people know that it exist but don't use it

aside from whatomine coin, sia(dead like decred cuz of dual mining) lbry and spreadcoin, there are no other profitable coin

Wtf, I submit a post and get two excluded. The bot is such a prankster, lol

i'm out of this, since altsection is not counted, i'm not interested in posting in those spammy board like general discussion and speculation, when you will add altsection i'll join back if there will be spots left...

May I have your bonus?

yeah bot is fucked up, i was posting and seeing my post counted, then i return to see if everything was ok, and boom ten of post excluded without reason

why the bot is ignoring again the altcoin section especially the mining and the discussion section? i like that section, i want to post there

besides there are more spam on the bitcoin general section and speculation, so getting payed there should not be better than the altboard in any way

also the bot is counting post posted here...please fix this mess

The bot has always excluded altcoin sections.

when the altsection will be added? i don't see the reason to exclude it honestly, other section, like i've said, have more spam than anything, currently the top spam section is general discussion of bitcoin...

Uh,  haven't you been signed up for this campaign forever?  It's never paid out for the alt section.  Did you not notice this? Seems a shame to walk away.  Tons of people would love your spot.

the campaign did payed for me in the past in the altsection, maybe it was a bug in the bot, but in the last month i was posting only there and i got payment

i did not sign anything, i can leave any time
