3981  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz and Lauda just got merit! on: January 30, 2018, 05:14:31 PM
Ok, Then why don't theymos reply here, it looks like you are operating both accounts. Can you provide me a moderator position for a week to check all those IP's.
Just:  Cheesy.

Whenever some post about you, the same gang appears here, and they post same things.
Irrelevant. No gang of any kind is present.

Only for Atriz is the constructive post?
Merit not given doesn't imply that someone does not consider a post constructive.

If you are not a member of SMF, then you don't have experience so please quit your position.
Just:  Cheesy.
3982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: January 30, 2018, 04:41:48 PM
Contact the reseller from which you bought your licence from for support.
I already contacted the support but no answer so far Smiley
Then there is nothing to do other than wait. This can happen depending on *who* you choose.
3983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: January 30, 2018, 04:25:29 PM
Hey Gunthar! Great job with the bot! I bought a licence for one exchange few hours ago from one of your listed resellers but I still didn't get any password and I don't have any news from their support on Telegram. How can I get that please?  Smiley

3984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO]Credito - A Decentralized Credit Intelligence Network on Blockchain on: January 30, 2018, 11:55:45 AM
It's very interesting to know if there will be a continuation of the bounty or 7 week last ?)
We are currently in Week 9, and it is likely that it will continue for now.
3985  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz and Lauda just got merit! on: January 30, 2018, 11:20:39 AM
how about Sathoshi Nakamoto? Is he is the owner of this forums? as in his profile I see Founder.
No.

Why don't you give the similar points who are opposite to your gang?
There is no gang and I don't have to give points to anyone.

Is this is a Constructive post or is it helpful helpful to readers?
Quote
Oh right OP, you'd still complain because you're a butthurt idiot.

Let me just fake my own timezone by posting during the night time and sleeping during the day. Genius.
Yes, yes it is. It tells the uninformed reader that OP is spewing nonsense, and destroys another failed argument with sarcasm.

Lauda How many forums you maintained in your life and how many forums you were be a member?
That's not your concern.
3986  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT - A DEFINITION OF, RICH PEOPLE BECOME RICHER, POOR PEOPLE MAINTAIN POOR on: January 30, 2018, 10:15:18 AM
Merit system may be great for overall forum post quality, but now everybody complaining because they afraid of new system. Now we have 3 kind of users. First kind is newbies. They have no merit and they afraid that they will never rank up.
So? A user that joins here to contribute, will not care about their rank that much, and will have no problems attaining merit points. A user that joins here *only to earn* aka shitpost and/or abuse, is the type of user that will be afraid.

Second kind is users with small sMerit available. They afraid that they will not receive merit in future, so they don't sending merit to any post and prefer to hold it for bright future or for somebody who will pay for it (yes, I know that it's not good, but there are many Merit traders already).
Trading merit points will lead to the destruction of your own account.

Third kind is huge merit holders. I don't know if they afraid of something, but I hope that Hero/Legendary members will play fair and spend some sMerit on post that deserve it.
Being fair =/= sending sMerit. You can be fair and not send a single sMerit point.

Summary:
I'm just complaing like others, but merit system need to get older and users have to adopt to it. We'll see where it leads to.
While the system is a joke when it comes to obvious solutions to the problems that the forum has been facing over the last few years, the voice concerns are usually even bigger jokes.
3987  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz and Lauda just got merit! on: January 30, 2018, 10:11:55 AM
So Lauda had joined the forum than pther people?
That's not even a valid question.
or does Lauda = Theymos ?
Roll Eyes

since Lauda is having highest merit points as you said.
Highest rank =/= highest merit points.

It's not a constructive post or benefited to the forums and both run same service called ALU  Wink
It is very much a constructive post.

As you said above, merit is based on the constructive post and now you are saying merit is for a known person.  Why you change your words while posting here?
It's redundant to look through the post history of someone and distribute the number of merit points among the historical points when you can give them to a single post.
3988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO]Credito - A Decentralized Credit Intelligence Network on Blockchain on: January 30, 2018, 07:43:12 AM
And what is the end of the bounty campaign? Do you carry out the main sale?
campaign manager, please reply our question  Undecided
is this the end of credito bounty campaign?
There is no information about the ending Week yet. It continues until announced otherwise.
3989  Economy / Reputation / Re: aTriz and Lauda just got merit! on: January 30, 2018, 06:57:36 AM
You gotta admit you see their point.
There is no point. I can leave merit to whomever I want[1], wherever I want and in whatever amount I want. If you don't like it, then ask theymos to change the rules.

Also, I really don't consider this (http://prntscr.com/i7czpx) to be worthy of a neg.
My belief is that this is not what the trust system was designed for.
You don't understand the Trust system then.

It's designed to fight against scams, can you trust someone with your BTC or not, not to neg people who attack you, no matter what they're saying.
Incorrect. Theymos supported the tagging similar liars (see Bcash case), therefore it is warranted even according to him (although, individual cases are debatable; we are talking about the type).

[1] This works when you don't have an army of alts (see Quickseller et. al.).
3990  Other / Meta / Re: Merits should be given for the lower ranks only. on: January 30, 2018, 06:55:12 AM
even you are receiving merits you dont bother to give to the lower ranks. what makes a difference then?
Why would I give random spammers any merit? E.g., this thread is a nice example of attempted, yet failed, quality posting.
3991  Other / Meta / Re: Should merit be earned across the whole forum? on: January 29, 2018, 05:10:13 PM
Merit is in no way section-limited. What's the point of this thread again?
3992  Other / Meta / Re: Send merit to friend, is that allowed?? on: January 29, 2018, 05:06:58 PM
Not all people think the same like you.
Doesn't matter.

Some people is just lazy to take their time to give merit to other.
As expected. You aren't really saying anything new.

I hope all member in this forum think positive and allow their smerit fly to other member and not arogant to keep their smerit in their account.
There's nothing arrogant about keping your Smerit.
3993  Other / Meta / Re: What are the negativities of Merit system[UPDATED] on: January 29, 2018, 01:29:09 PM
6. Wage distortion in signature campaigns

Soon, signature campaigns will choose participants with merits and they will have a different/higher pay as compared to those who don't have any merits.
This would be a positive effect of the system, not a negative one.

However it is negative for those who genuinely want to earn and haven't gained any merits yet. They won't be able to earn just as much as those who already do.
We don't need people who shitpost just because they want to earn. Newcomers who write good posts will have no trouble getting the required merit points. It is very likely that their activity will be the limiting factor.
3994  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 29, 2018, 12:46:56 PM
I don't know you at all, but i already feel you may be quite biased here. I mean just look how much Merit you (a Legendary Rank) have been awarded in just a few meager days. This is in no way indicative of a typical user or even a power user.
Given that I've reached the top rank quite a long time ago, there is little to no meaning behind receiving any extra Merit points. Why would that makes me biased?
3995  Other / Meta / Re: Send merit to friend, is that allowed?? on: January 29, 2018, 12:22:30 PM
Agree with you, i dont see any high circulation of merit.
The system was introduced a few days ago, what do you expect?  Roll Eyes

If they give merit to other, they need to spare 1 or 2 minutes for sending merit, for those who dont want to do something that not benefit to them, i think they prefer to keep it.
No. It takes <5 seconds to send merit, even less if you are fast.

I think the system must give them limit time to spend the Smerit then if they dont give Smerit till the limit time so they system will give consequence.
The consequence is that your Smerit will decay.

For example delete their merit as many as smerit they have so maybe their rank will lower level. It can prevent them to keep the smerit without doing anything. No merit circulation so no more rank up.
Horrible suggestion.
3996  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 29, 2018, 12:20:04 PM
Tbh. I don't like this system too much, because it draws away my attention from the actual discussion. I don't care about ranks, I just don't want to think about it. Now everytime someone posts, you have to think about whether giving merit or not, and also looking if you received any merit.
Disagreed. It does the exact opposite. If you do not care about ranks, you probably might not care about merit either. You don't have to give anyone anything should you not want to, and since ranks aren't important to you then don't care about whether you're going to receive merit either.

The other thing that has been said many times I think ... it should not open a new tab.
At the start of this thread, it was explicitly asked for and supported by many (Vod asked for it).

On the other hand it does already take a very long time to go though the ranks any way (1.5 years or so for Hero for example) so maybe it wont be that uncommon to achieve so many merit points over that time span if you're not just making spam posts. I think it will all depend on how easily people give points out but I think it's an interesting experiment at least and I will be following it's progress.
It should be pretty easy to reach the required amount of Merit for Hero rank in that time span, given that you are creating quality posts.
3997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Safest wallet ? on: January 29, 2018, 10:36:01 AM
The security of a hardware wallet is about the same as a cold wallet. Because the hardware wallet is essentially a cold wallet category.
I would disagree. Cold wallet setups differ greatly. Everything that is not usually connected to the internet is considered as one, but the security of those setups is not equal.

Web, desktop, cold wallets are all the same not secured as long as if  it is not being take good care.
Completely wrong.

but basing here on this forum we always have an update about Bitcoin core or electrum though to install it you have to follow some codes and I believe it is good enough as storage of your crypto. Maybe you can ask admin theymos directly of what can he suggest the best wallet since admin theymos own a lot of crypto.

Price must be always right.
Shitpost.
3998  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the alternatives for Bitcointalk? on: January 29, 2018, 08:38:10 AM
I really think this is going no where.
Welcome to the club.

I'd love to find a forum where it's less crowded with a lot more technical discussions. Ideally people there don't care about levels. There are new technologies being discussed.
There is no such place. If you want to follow technical discussions, then:
a) Follow the Bitcoin development mailing list.
b) Follow the Lightning development mailing list.
c) Read the #bitcoin-core-dev IRC channel.
d) Read the #bitcoin-dev IRC channel.
e) Read the #lnd IRC channel.
f) Obviously, (as you've mentioned) pay attention to the Github repos.

I checked out Ethereumtalk.org but it's nothing.
mETH is a centralized shitcoin, don't expect proper technical discussion there.

Just like bitcoin itself, it's up for fork when the community can't agree.
That won't work.

Seriously, can't think of a better use case for DAO than such a forum!
Horrible idea.
3999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Safest wallet ? on: January 29, 2018, 07:21:47 AM
But Hardware wallets are the safest wallet, it can't be infected with malware even you inject it to an infected computer, so you're totally safe, but the downside of using it is you can't use to send if the HW lost, so you have to buy a HW again and recover your funds using your 24 seed. Or you can import your seed to any trusted wallet so you can use it in sending but this is not recommended the wallet might be compromised.
No, that is not correct. In case of hardware failure or similar, you can:
a) Import the seed to another wallet which is compatible with the HW's seed.
b) Use derivation tools to get your private keys of addresses that hold funds. Import these keys elsewhere and you have access.

In the case that you've described, these wallets would have a major downside if you couldn't do anything if you lost/damaged them. That is simply not the case.

Op didn't specify the wallet for which particular coins is looking for, although i will answer based on the one am currently using that require email confirmation which is Blockchian.info that is mainly use for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.
Do not use web wallets. Yet again, horrible advice here.

.. upload it into the cloud (preferably on multiple services)..
No. Never upload wallets to the cloud. That's a horrible idea.
