Pagdedebatihan ulit sa kamara which will take more time. Pero tingin ko, approve to sa ating Pangulo.
3982  Local / Pilipinas / Re: The Anti-Terrorism Act and Why Non-Custodial Wallets Will Be Important on: June 11, 2020, 02:34:32 AM
Again for other readers who are not aware, ang freezing of assets ay hindi na bago at nakapaloob na yan sa RA 9160 (Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001).

Obviously I will put my bet on Manny Pacquiao. The fact that they are considering this match means Manny can win against Gennady "Triple G" Golovkin. Though can Manny really do the weight change? If this will be the fight, I will really beat on MP. Another boxer against him with a height advantage, Manny can knock him down or beat him up.

Uhmm, I think you are just a very avid fan of the Pacman that you bet on him without first examining the opponent and this time you will lost your bet but fortunately for you mate, this fight is not gonna happen. In the first place, team Pacman is not considering this fight, it's only Roach who spread this rumor and he ain't the trainer of Manny anymore, he will be in Manny's corner as a consultant AFAIK.

Manny have the luxury of cherry picking his next opponent and it would be between the two Garcia's (Danny and Mikey) if he can't get that rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial is positive with the return, I think we should be positive as well.

https://pba.ph/news/marcial-takes-positive-mindset-pba-can-resume-stalled-season

I'm not trying to be pessimistic here but the current scenario (COVID testing) does not look good to me as more and more people are getting the virus and with the GCQ status, people are going out of their house so the danger of infecting others and getting the virus is much higher now.

Also there are some players who have apprehensions of getting back to practice, i hope they will address these concerns. But i know that they won't resume until it is safe for everybody.

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/pba-teams-told-to-address-player-fears-as-league-eyes-restart-a793-20200607?ref=feed_1_section

Maybe we can also have a bet on "when PBA will return?" we can put a month as a betting option but let's only put the choices of months within this year, whoever wins, they will divide the pot. Grin  What do you think, do you like this one?

Hehe, I guess since PBA is still not available now, we can make a betting like this just for us not to forget to update ourselves with the current news about PBA.

I always like it if it is betting  Grin.

Kidding aside, yeah that would be fun. Do you have suggestions on what months do bettors choose?

Let's consider that this August, the board will announce the fate of the PBA, whether they will cancel the season or they will resume.

^^ will be the only betting we are going to make as commissioner Marcial have already spoken on the Abueva ban.

~snip~

It is to be expected that Stevenson should win this fight against Caraballo.

Expected but not guaranteed otherwise there will be no more betting on that fight  Smiley.

I'm not sold on the Ramirez vs Stevenson though, yes Ramirez won the gold in 2016 Olympics, but his debut on pro rank was a lost. So there's no more hype on Ramirez, unless he build a good resume before he can face Stevenson because Shakur is the most hype boxer between the two and even compared to Floyd Mayweather.

For me, there is always hype on that one considering that Stevenson is the top dog on the featherweight now and Ramirez being the one who have beaten him that means the later has his numbers. In boxing "style makes fight" so maybe the style of Ramirez would give Stevenson some problems. Before their match-up could happen, Ramirez should also do his part, win convincingly every time he fights so when the time comes for him to face Stevenson, marketing him would not be a problem anymore.
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Betting this June? on: June 10, 2020, 02:49:47 AM
Shakur Stevenson was too much for Felix Caraballo as the former stops him in the 6th round of their 10-round non title fight in Las Vegas.

https://www.boxingscene.com/shakur-stevenson-beats-down-stops-felix-caraballo-results--149406

Interesting to note on this card that Robeisy Ramirez also won against Yeuri Andujar via first round stoppage. Ramirez was the one who beat Stevenson on their showdown in the finals of the 2016 Olympic Games. These two fighters might cross path in pro boxing in the near future.

IMO, the first act of Bob Arum was successful, kudos to him for making boxing up on it's feet on this time of pandemic.

Next card will be on June 11, 2020 and it will feature Jessie Magdaleno and Vicente Yenifel on the main event.

Few hours from now we could already see some fights held in Las Vega and just hope that no untoward incidents happen like fighters tested positive for COVID-19 and pull out that particular fight.

Betting for Caraballo here for obvious reason, you get 15X of your bet and looking at the later's record he has higher KO percentage than that of Stevenson, who knows something might happen here as it would we crowd less so it's like they are fighting in a neutral ground.
3991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 09, 2020, 05:25:28 AM
@Vishnu.Reang I don’t think that this match will actually take place this year, because Manny suddenly can’t weight up to match Golovkin weights, and the only way this match can take place is if both agree to a middle weight match, but again the possibility of this is less. Furthermore Golovkin has his trilogy matches to complete against Canelo, hence he’ll focus more on those matches, but if anyone has any confirmation about this match do post below because I couldn’t find anything about it online.

I agree with you here, this fight won't happen as they may be problem on what weight they would meet and basing on the article, GGG won't go south of 160 lbs and for Manny to fight at that weight is a suicide, besides there are now talks that the later would fight Crawford. This would be less dangerous for Pacquiao but still a dangerous one for him.

Quote
One of the main reasons it took so long for Golovkin and Canelo to face off in their blockbuster showdown was due to the former's reluctance to meet at a catch-weight in between the middleweight and super-welterweight limit.

GGG has also in the past turned down fights at 168lbs and always insisted that he is comfortable fighting at middleweight. So, any chances of them meeting below 160lbs is virtually off the table.

Finallly, odds are in place for the Stevenson vs Caraballo and Magdaleno vs Yenifel matches in one of my favorite online bookies.

Maybe we can make a discussion on this particular betting plan in our local so it will not derail the thread, once it's finalize, we can put the criteria here so everyone can see and I think we can welcome non local posters if they like to participate.

Ok, we will do that but first we have to wait further announce from the PBA as to when they will resume the games before making the thread. Thanks for the suggestion though.
3996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 06, 2020, 12:36:42 AM
Let's do the math here:

>>Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De la Hoya

The fight was for the regular welterweight division (147 lbs) but Oscar is just 145 lbs during the weigh-in and Manny was at 142 lbs. It was very visually notable also that Oscar did not re-hydrate after the weigh in and Manny was the bigger fighter come fight night. Manny was 29 years old then and Oscar was 35, plus the fact that Roach once trained Oscar and the former quoted "Oscar can't pull the trigger anymore" thus making this fight on Manny's advantage when the two climbed the ring.

>>Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito

The fight was for the WBC Super Welterweight championship (154 lbs) but in a 150 lbs catch weight. Margarito was 32 years old and Manny was 31, not a factor on this fight but the 150 lbs catch weight really was a factor.

>>Manny Pacquiao vs Golovkin (Proposed)

Manny Pacquiao is campaigning at 147 lbs while GGG at 160 lbs. Manny is 41 years old and GGG is 38. Both fighters are on a downhill of their career.

IMO, even if the fight will take place at 154 lbs, Manny would still lose as GGG will be too big for him though a little slower than Manny but he is a heavy puncher and a single punch from him would slow down Manny. I'm a Pacman fan and personally i don't want this fight to happen as this would damage Manny's health.

On the other hand, i think this is just a hype so Manny's name will be talked about in the boxing world but the real target opponent of Team Pacman is Mickey Garcia.  Smiley
3997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 05, 2020, 09:18:37 PM
I honestly think Pacman would be stupid to take on this fight, though it would definitely be a huge payday. I expect GGG will deliver a brutal KO the likes Pacman has never seen before.

Agree, if this fight pushes through, it would be devastation on the side of the Pacman. Manny has fought fighter bigger than him before but it is on a catch weight and besides he was on his prime that time. This fight won't take place, too risky for a guy who had everything on his life now, money-wise.

But if they would twist this one and the two will meet at 150 lbs limit then i think Manny had a chance  Smiley. This is the only way he would beat GGG.

Would Abueva will be able to play on the first game of Phoenix when the PBA resumes?

YES = amount of btc
NO  = amount of btc

Starting from the first Phoenix game once PBA resume and not within the same conference?

Yes, the very first game of Phoenix in the conference/season because the chance of lifting the suspension is very high and it might be announce before the resumption of the PBA.

There should be a deadline for betting. August or September is the announcement for what will happen to PBA right?

PBA hopes to resume practices by July once IATF gives go-signal , maybe the announcement of PBA return might be on August or September so we will revisit this thread once that announce is available so we can set the deadline of betting. Thanks for the suggestion.

If this will pushes through, we will use the betting style of mirakal and Russlenat, one btc address for the "YES" bet and one for the "NO" bet.

3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 04, 2020, 11:40:34 AM
I'm glad you guys are talking about Calvin, we really miss him, didn't we?
The long suspension has to be a lesson learned for him, he will have to remain aggressive in the floor but he needs to cool down and play smart every time in the floor, more eyes are looking at him when he comes back as he has a history of fight in the PBA, and being a PBA player, one should be a model to everyone, especially their fans who are always watching them in the court, and even outside the court.

Personally, i don't missed him playing in the PBA because i am not a fan of his antics  Grin. On the other, i pity him and it's about time to let him play again after more than a year of ban. With all he have done during the pandemic, gut tells me he is good to go in the PBA once more. At 32 years old, he is still on his peak, he can still run the floor with ease, thanks to his genetics lol.

Just for fun, maybe we can bet just a small amount of BTC here for a simple question.

Would Abueva will be able to play on the first game of Phoenix when the PBA resumes?

YES = amount of btc
NO  = amount of btc

Or anyone got a better idea, this is just for fun  Smiley.

Gusto ko lang sana malaman bro kung ano naging karanasan mo sa trading? Did you use all of the above strategies and is it profitable?

I'm also into trading but i'm a holding type of guy, buy low sell high at mabisa naman na paraan though hindi nga lang kalakihan profit at kailangan talaga ang pasensya kasi nandyan lang ang crypto mo sa exchange the whole time pero at least it's always going north in terms of BTC.
