3981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 10, 2021, 09:29:23 PM
All the pressure will be on lionel Messi who despite being the all time highest goal scorer in the el classico has now failed to score against Real Madrid. The last time we saw a goal from Messi in the El Classico was in the 2018 draw match in camp nou. This defeat is a setback for Barcelona because they will go trophyless this season if they fail to top the league.

This Video assistant referee (VAR) that was introduced into football to reduce Human error is now ruining football. Just imagine this very ridiculous decision, it is almost as if they are against Liverpool in this match. (LIVAVL)

3984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is best to invest $30,000 in? on: April 09, 2021, 11:56:18 AM
Please give advice.

A friend has $30,000 and is new to the crypto environment, he is looking to invest all in bitcoin or split the money among promising Altcoins or just one altcoin.

What do you have to tell my Friend, if you say he should split the money and invest in many altcoins, please make public the altcoins you think have a very promising future.
3985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between altcoins and Bitcoin on: April 09, 2021, 11:37:33 AM
The term "Altcoin" refers to any coin that is an alternative to bitcoin. We often hear Bitcoin and other altcoins because bitcoin is king among crypto's being the first to emerge. The first crypto ledger (Blockchain) was built around bitcoin, all other ledger of other altcoins are built around this protocol.
3986  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TWO PARTY SYSTEM; The Best? on: April 09, 2021, 10:45:26 AM
Many will argue that the two party style system is the best, however, in my own point of view, Two party system presents a limited choice of who to vote for by members of the public. Since only two propaganda's will be represented in a two party system, if you can't align your desire to any of them, you will find yourself not having any of the candidates presented by the two parties in mind.
3987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 09, 2021, 08:12:10 AM
A very disappointing game from Arsenal, a lot of missed chances and opportunities from players. They were even lucky they got a draw. The coach has to do better with team selection and the players have to do better. Come the second leg in Prague, there will be no room for errors.
3988  Other / Politics & Society / Re: mRNA vaccines may cause your body to churn out Mad Cow Disease prions on: April 09, 2021, 07:25:47 AM
I am particularly very afraid about the long term effects of these mRNA vaccines, scientists clearly have agreed to the fact that mRNA vaccines are a new technology that they are still trying to understand, yet vaccination is going on at a top gear. Could there be a particular motive to this? Will those who previously had the virus and recovered still require this vaccine?

3989  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is joe biden on the right track? on: April 09, 2021, 06:55:11 AM
The media and those who were controlling the media, were focusing on the "damage" Trump was doing to their big business operations, and to where he was leading - prison for many of them - in his clean up of the Swamp. They didn't look at things Biden might do if he came to power.

There are strong indications that members of the mainstream media are a part of President Joe Biden's team probably because former President Donald trump didn't take it easy on them or for some other reasons.

News reporters were quick to make and give explosive headlines whenever Trump did something not nice or said something. But give a soft comment when he did something commendable.

Take for instance, the media waited for over a month after the election before they made public a case about the FBI's investigation of Hunter Biden. If they had made the report earlier, it would have had an effect on election results, who knows?

Take a second to examine this article below, you will find more instances of suspected foul play from the media.

3990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 09, 2021, 06:22:05 AM
This is really a smart move by real estate owners who have been looking to own and acquire some bitcoin for themselves without using their own cash. This is particularly beneficial reason being that in a short while from when payment has been made in bitcoin, the real estate owners have a chance of making enough profits from a few payments in bitcoin, even enough to start building another property if bitcoin price goes up while holding.
3991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US idea to counter China attack with bitcoin on: April 08, 2021, 06:13:19 PM
I am very confused on this matter and need clarity. How is it possible that the same china that prohibits use and transactions in bitcoin is still the same place where over 65% of the world's bitcoin is minned? Someone please explain.
If transactions are still done underground, does this mean that a fair percentage of China's population is involved in the illegal activity of transacting in bitcoin?
3992  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin price fall to Zero? Possible or not? on: April 08, 2021, 05:51:42 PM
Here are some scenerios that can cause the price of btc to fall drastically. (In my opinion, it is highly unlikely and the possibility very slim).
(1) No way to trade bitcoin or exchange it for goods and services.
(2) All governments of the world placing a ban on bitcoin and bitcoin related activities making it highly illegal.
(3) The entire bitcoin network and nodes going offline making it impossible to even make underground transactions in bitcoin.
(4) Another crypto overtaking bitcoin and value and more people shifting investment to this new crypto.

3993  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 08, 2021, 05:19:47 PM
There has been a lot of predictions and speculations concerning bitcoin price now and what is expected. It is highly expected that btc price breaks and exceeds the the current range it is dancing around currently.(58k-60k). Price movement is currently very slow, maybe in the coming days or weeks a tweet or news from an influential individual or company may positively catalyze the price upward into the 60-70k range, but for now we can just keep our fingers crossed and expect the best.
3994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading an occupation? on: April 08, 2021, 05:00:43 PM
Depending on how you view it, one can trade full time or part time. However if you must take up trading as a full time occupation, you must be ready for anything that comes with it. You could loose all your money and be broke for a longtime anytime.
I personally trade part-time because one stream of income in this age is not enough.
3995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Trading vs Investing (The major differences) on: April 08, 2021, 04:36:43 PM

3996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Major differences between investment and gambling. on: April 08, 2021, 04:19:38 PM
A major misconception among gamblers is that gambling is sometimes considered as an investment and investment as gambling.
The purpose of this discourse is to clear the air and state some of the major differences between investing and gambling.
Some differences are;
(a) In investing, you expect moderate returns, whereas in gambling, the returns expected are very high and sometimes very ridiculous.
(b) There is a medium to long term planning in view, whereas in gambling, the returns is in view is short term.
(c) There is a risk involved in investment, but the risk is moderate. The risk in gambling is high.
(d) The motive behind investing is safety of capital and stability of one's returns, while the motive behind gambling is entertainment while making money.

______________
You can add your own differences.

3997  Economy / Economics / Re: The President creates a "Ministery of Extraterrestrial Affairs" on: April 08, 2021, 11:02:10 AM
This is no joke, Ortega, president of Nicaragua is the political leader of a country that is struggling with economic and social issues. Currently, they are having difficulties to even get enough COVID vaccines - perhaps no the only ones.

However, the president has seen fit to create a "Ministery of Ultraterrestrial Affairs and Celestial Bodies".

Perhaps if we look at the brighter side of things, from another angle, we can say that the president is looking to create an opening for more individuals to be employed. Usually when new ministries are formed in a government, human labour is required, both the skilled and unskilled will gain from this. What i just hope for is that nepotism is not involved in the employment or recruitment  process.
3998  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please can one say private key is 100% secure on: April 08, 2021, 10:12:07 AM
As encrypted as they seem, private keys are not 100% secure else they would have been called "secure keys". If the operating system of the computer or device containing your private key's is compromised, your so called encrypted keys can be obtained. To make and create a more secure system for your wallet, two factor authentication is adviced. So in a case where paraventure your private keys falls into the wrong hands, they will not be able to gain complete access to your wallet.
3999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 08, 2021, 04:19:48 AM
I'm thinking that my money would go for Linares. An old man, yes, 13 years Haney's senior as a matter of fact, but I think he's still got the power in him. He's past his prime, no doubt about it, but so is Haney not yet thoroughly tested inside the ring. He's got a UD against the older and fading Yuriorkis. So I wouldn't consider it a test in his career.

This is going to be Haney's most challenging fight so far in his entire career. That's why with odds of 1/8 or at least -800 as per bet365, I think that's too high and simply not worth it. Linares' 9/2 or +450 seems more interesting to me.

I sincerely hope that this is not Linares underrating young Hanney. Although Linares has got the experience, there is something about the young blood. The burning desire to win and overcome. If Linares doesn't bend his back to train and practice hard for this fight Haney might just shock us all with a win.
4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 08, 2021, 03:39:44 AM

Chelsea with Tuchel have been improved and the last weekend defeat in Premier League does not break their confidence. Porto probably have to end their journey in this quarter final round.

It will take a special miracle for porto to be able to come back from this, the Chelsea side as we all know will not easily let go of this lead. Chelsea  only needed an away goal to drop the morale of the porto side, they not only got one but got two. Kudos to Mason Mount for that first strike.

As for Bayern, i really expected them to win that encounter PSG having the home advantage. But the game is far from over, we can still see a different result from the other game.
