I was thinking about the possibility of Messi to return to his oldest team which was Newell's Old Boys. And now I see some rumours on the news like he might even make a decision in that way.

However I don't expect him to leave Europe so soon. I think he will continue with PSG or Barcelona next season. He would prioritize Barcelona of course. I have been hearing positive things from Barcelona side about this recently as well. Who knows maybe this time Barcelona will allocate funds for bringing him back to the team. Xavi is also eager to see him there again.

Of course, losing players because of red cards gave a significant impact. Playing with fewer players since minutes 57'-58' really harms Elche, they get too many red cards. I don't know what's wrong with Elche players in this match. It was very surprising, too many red cards.

The second red card was a huge opportunity for Betis to take the win and they really did it. But Elche really gave away the victory to them here. After getting 2-0 ahead they were pretty bad at securing the advantage until the end. They were good at it against Villarreal home for example. But I understand them as well of course.

In the end Elche have only one win so far and they are at the last position too. It isn't ever easy for them to get a win in this kind of tough games.

There is a Crystal Palace game for Liverpool tomorrow. There is no easy game for Liverpool this season. This is one of those games as well in my opinion.

Crystal Palace can be quite dangerous against big teams. Liverpool are really vulnerable these days in defense especially. Crystal Palace would like to do their best in this home game for them. Liverpool might have difficulties in concentrating fully on the game maybe but they have to. They need to focus on the league from now on to do their best. In the end they are very close to be eliminated in the Champions League as well. I hope Liverpool will manage to win here somehow.

I think Torino can make big difficulties for Juventus in Turin. There is only one point between these teams. I know that it is due to the punishment Juventus have been given. But still Torino aren't a weak team in the league. They are a team that have a big potential to make things harder for big teams of the league. They eliminated Milan in the Coppa Italia as well for example.

Juventus need to be as effective as possible at scoring. Playing like in the Nantes game would be a big help for them as well. In that way they can secure a decent win.

Mitrovic's absence is really felt by Fulham in the attacking line now. Because they should have been able to get ahead against Wolves already. I assume it will be another comfortable victory for Dortmund this week. Hoffenheim are literally one of the worst teams this season. They have been losing points for so many weeks and they lost their last 4 games as well. I don't expect them to be very motivated against Dortmund either as a result. I really don't know what the real problem behind Hoffenheim's being this much bad.

However I just expect Dortmund to destroy them. They are having a really productive period these days. They need to win a game like this to maintain their title run at full speed.

Things are going on really bad for Newcastle. They can't win a league game for four weeks first of all. Their game against Brighton home has also been postponed to an unknown date because of domestic cup. This means Newcastle are going to have an away game against Manchester City next time. This looks really scary honestly while Manchester City are fighting for the title.

It looks like Newcastle's longing for a win in the league will continue for a little longer. Let's see how good Tottenham will make use of this chance.

I think Chelsea will be eliminated by Dortmund as long as there is no improvement in their finishing skills especially.

Maybe the rematch is in Stamford Bridge but it doesn't mean much for Chelsea actually. We have all seen how they lost to Southampton there newly. Currently they are not a team to trust at all. Dortmund are having a great period of time these days so they look closer to next round right now. Dortmund deserve to move on against a really problematic Chelsea in this season.

Ajax's being eliminated by Union Berlin made me really surprised. Maybe Ajax weren't having a good season in general but they were still a solid team. I thought they would be more challenging in the Europa League at least. But Union Berlin had a quite productive day. Winning by 3-1 was showing how comfortable Union Berlin were as well.

Union Berlin are having a really great season now. They aren't good only in the Bundesliga. They have managed to reflect this effort onto the Europa League as well.

There isn't much time left for the Madrid derby in Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid are very clearly favourite team to be victorious obviously.

They have improved their morale a lot after the win over Liverpool in the Champions League. It can be one of their most productive games in the season as well. With this motivation there should be no way Atletico Madrid finding a way out against them. I respect Atletico Madrid's unbeaten series but it is about to come to an end. They haven't had a very consistent performance in the meantime as well. We would see it clearly in this game.

It can be really difficult for Liverpool to focus on their next Premier League game after that huge loss. But they no other option than focusing on it. Mathematically they still have a chance for even top four. They need to do their best until the end to see how things go. If they can't make it to the Champions League again as well then they will have achieved literally nothing this season.

Even if they do this it is still going to be a poor season for them of course. Because a team like Liverpool shouldn't finish a season without a single title.

Manchester United maintained their great look in their home games. This time they did the same against Barcelona and this win brought the next round in the Europa League as well.

Even though Barcelona got ahead first it didn't change anything for Manchester United's plans. They still made a comeback and won the game by 2-1. Barcelona's priority is the La Liga title of course but the Europa League must have been also important. Now one of the biggest favourites is gone here. Let's see how far Manchester United will go. Actually they are one of the deadliest teams right now and they can go on until the finale.

Liverpool are also joining the race for signing Gvardiol as it seems. It would be for their benefit actually because there is an obvious problem in their defense line. After conceding 5 goals against Real Madrid in a very easy way this problem is even more realized now. Gvardiol would be an amazing choice of a centre-back for them as well.

Because Gvardiol is playing really effectively as a defender despite his very young age. He is a rare talent in my opinion. He played a big role against Manchester City by scoring the equalizer as well.

Chelsea are still doing very bad and their next game is against Tottenham away. There is another game in which they are likely to lose points again I'm afraid. Tottenham are also not a very consistent team this season actually but I don't think they would lose this game home. While Chelsea are this much vulnerable they would also like to take advantage of the situation.

After losing to even Southampton home I just can't trust Chelsea to win this. Instead I would prefer to bet on both teams to score.

Bayern Munich had better be careful about Union Berlin indeed. I don't think it will be a very comfortable game for them unless Union Berlin lose their focus.

It might depend on what Union Berlin will do against Ajax tomorrow as well. If they make it to next round then they would be more concentrated on the Bayern Munich game. Otherwise they might be affected by the result badly. I know one thing that Bayern Munich are not a trustworthy team in the Bundesliga this season. I would rather act cautious about them and not bet on them for this game at least.

I don't think that only Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing Osimhen these days. There are more big teams to have this interest in him to sign. He is even leaving his team to decide upon what to do this summer. Napoli would like to keep him longer as a result of course. Why would they want to lose their most important play that easy?

Or maybe they would be ready for that only if they can get a high amount of transfer fee for him.

Sevilla have been much better in the recent times. Maybe they are still struggling against the biggest teams of the league. But they are at least able to perform better in the remaining ones and they are finally getting wins as well. They need to keep this going to finish the season at a safe position in the standings too. The Europa League win should also be some help.

Osasuna are a good team but Sevilla should be able to benefit from the home advantage in this game. I think they will win this game by one goal.

Napoli are going to have the opening game against Empoli in two days. Napoli actually have a pretty bad away game history against Empoli recently. But still I don't think this will change anything for this game.

Napoli are the absolute favourite and we all have seen how they have performed so far. This is like their peak now comparing to the previous season. Empoli aren't in a good condition at all as well. I don't see any for them to resist Napoli here. Napoli are slowly approaching to announcing their title early and this is just another game they should be winning comfortably.

Lukaku has been really effective in the last minutes of the game. He has had three big opportunities in the meantime and finally one of them ended up with a goal. I assume Inter would finish the game by this 1-0 score against a Porto playing with 10 players. The red card was a big problem for Porto otherwise they really seemed like they could get a draw here.

It is important for Lukaku to be the savior in this important game. This can help him find more chances in the starting eleven.
