3981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why New Crypto Projects are Dump ? on: November 01, 2020, 02:43:36 PM
Just to go straight...
because they are worthless enough for investors to see. People won't risk and invest their money into a thing that they can't see any assurance nor expect for an ROI.

Another reason is that developers are already abandoned it after collecting the money from innocent investors. This case isn't weird or finds it not normal but this is all possible and it really happening in the market since before but that it gets worse as many people fall into greediness.
3982  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stays Above USD 13,000, Altcoins Take Hit on: November 01, 2020, 01:54:03 AM
Switch.

I think they are making profits now.
Sell altcoins, buy bitcoin. Make profits out of it then go back.
They are just waiting for the right time to sell. The hype from Paypal looks like it's calming down.
I bet anytime we will see an instant $1000 fall then it will slow down again.
Paypal buyers will be the ones left and it could be the reason why a new bottom will happen. If they will stay.
That's quickest the hype it burst. PayPal can't hold that long and that is actually the results.
I like the idea of selling Altcoins switch to Bitcoin but the problem if the market will tend to drop again to $10k, I'm not sure if he/she can able to hold it.

That is so unpredictable, the resistance level quite weakens this time. Can't even tell that we are able to hold at $13k, but then I have nothing to give up, and still optimistic for the positive gains as the adoption keeps stronger and wider.
3983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You Should Trade Crypto With Leverage on: October 31, 2020, 11:26:32 PM
Leverage is good when you are making business outside the forum but if you are thinking about increasing your capital in trading with the help of leverage, you'll make it wrong. I understand that both of them have risk but you can tell also yourself that trading is of higher risk. However, it the choice of a trader to use this kind of strategy, and probably he knows already the possible consequences once they failed. But in myself, I can't afford to do that, nor I have to risk more in trading asking a loan to someone just to extend my capital.
3984  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: October 31, 2020, 10:51:36 PM
The only thing that can answer your question is to ask yourself first, what is your goal or target price?

By simply answering that, you will be guided when you sell your cryptos. Anyway, hearing and reading advice from the community, from friends, and from family members will also give you better ideas and help you to decide. But if you are asking the best time to sell, that is your discretion and it has you to think it wisely and stand your own because even me, I can't answer it directly, only I do is have to listen and watch the market development. This is the only thing it helps us to make a final decision.
3985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 30, 2020, 01:37:15 PM
The biggest nightmare of every gambler is Losing. When you're gambling you're open to two important options, it is a win or loss affair. While you're winning; the bookies are losing. While you're lossing the bookie are winning. The most important factor to take into consideration is "Don't chose your loss", Don't attach emotions to gambling the aftermath could be disastrous. At least you were lucky enough to recover some part of the lost funds. Next time be tactical and calculative to avoid fatal losses.
That was good advice...
Gambling isn't worth dying just to get back what we've lost in the past days. It is better to forget and face the upcoming, but we still then lose, again and again, that is a sign that gambling not meant for us nor we have luck in here. Pushing ourselves to a thing that seems impossible to work for us, it is just like suicide on our ends because in that case the more we possibly lose than to win.

Gambling somewhat addictive not because we always win but it is because we are aiming to recover those losses. And that sad thing is that it keeps the string complete attached to us until we finally make the decision to quit.

3987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $100 USD vs $10,000 USD Trading Capital on: October 30, 2020, 08:05:26 AM
Only the trading capital differ, but the profit out of the same will be almost same when calculated in terms of percentage. The important thing with trading is the choice of buying. There is possible chances of making $4000 out of $400 capital as well as out of $4000. This difference is entirely based on the asset that we've used for trading. More the capital more will be the risk and profiting.
Having $10,000 capital vs $1,000 is totally have a different result.

More Capital + higher risk= more gains
small capital + low risk = small gains

We can choose depending on how much we can afford to lose. It is to know that both ways are risky but if we are aiming to make huge gains in a shorter time, we have to invest more in trading. Unless if we are just new and still haven't enough knowledge to manage our funds. Because for those risk-takers, they are preferred to choose to risk more.
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 30, 2020, 07:44:46 AM
As I've read the above replies it is to find out that most gamblers are willing to give up gambling if the price went high. Sounds that right scenario for the gambling institutions, it might possible many of them will close if the number of gamblers drastically moving down. Could be the risk is different if the price of Bitcoin is high compared to the lower price? I don't think so but the gamblers think about the value of money vs BTC this time that put them in halt and save it than to gamble with ZERO assurance of return.
3989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 29, 2020, 03:41:28 PM
As has already been said, multi bets are riskier than singles. Whenever there are more possibilities, there are also different outcomes.

Gonna be depending on how much you bet in every set of games. Because I'd find it the same, they are all risky...

For example,
If can make a single bet worth $500, if ever I've lost that game, I lose them all that $500. But if you gonna put it in a multiple which consists of $100 per bet, that will be 5 more bets and possibly one or two amongst those will have a chance to win. What I mean is that having a multiple bet could give us a chance to recover if ever we lose on the other bets and can still keep us on the game. Unlikely, if we have it all in a single bet if ever we lost, it ends up your $500 instantly.
3990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between stablecoins? on: October 28, 2020, 11:57:21 PM
There is a huge amount of stablecoins in the world of cryptocurrencies today.
What is their difference, why are there so many of them.

There are more than 5 types of stablecoins on binance alone, for example
USDT
USDC
BUSD
TUSD
DAI
Is there anyone who understands the depth?
I'd find comfortable with USDT than the rest.

What is the use of stablecoins? It is just protecting us to prevent a sudden loss due to market volatility. However, it is not the thing that we look for if we are wanting to make a profit from our investment. They are all the same and the fact that it never helps us to generate profit, most of us are converting it to Bitcoin or into potential altcoins. Because we are not here just to secure our funds, but we are here because we are ready to take the risk that is why having these stablecoins is not the prospect that we wanted to hold.
3991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 27, 2020, 01:55:53 PM
If ever you die today, nothing will save your Bitcoin if nobody knows about your address and keys and that it be included in the number of lost BTC. I know we don't know what will happen next and definitely, we can't assure ourselves that everything will be fine by tomorrow or in the coming days. That makes it very important to let some members of our family knows what we do, our investment.

3992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 26, 2020, 09:18:54 PM

Define "important"? If that question just raised because OP thinks that fiat is overkilled in the crypto-community then the discussion doesn't make sense.

Clearly, there is a misunderstanding on OP's part wherein he thinks that most people are putting too much hype on bitcoin while at the end of the day, they will convert it to fiat. First of all, try to research why the crypto-community grows over time. What's the reason? Why they don't like to be involved in banks? Why they are putting money on crypto? Why crypto-trading grows?

No need to go technical deeply about the advantage of using bitcoin and fiat. People have different preferences.
It is just people (most) are considering Bitcoin and crypto as a milking asset not as a currency to use to buy stuff, for bills just like what they do with FIAT money. And why they were converting it into FIAt is because of its higher value. People consider both Bitcoin and FIAT to have an important role in different aspects, as an investment and as a currency, respectively.
3993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: October 26, 2020, 05:05:25 PM
snipped...

When it comes to Gambling we can always found by definition the word risky and theres no such thing as safe bet in gambling. Gambling was 50/50 probability of chance of losing and winning. Let's always keep in mind that we should only bet what we can afford to lose and of course always consider on how would you cope up when you lose in sports betting. Each sports betting has their own kind of risk like casinos and even team sports betting

Many people know about the risk of playing gambling, but many people are still playing games without thinking much if they lose too much money. If people know how much money they should use in gambling, they will not use too much to expect to get a win. For example, they will only use less than $50 to playing gambling, and before the money is gone, they will stop gamble to avoid losing that $50. So their safe bet will be less than $50.
Many were get into gambling because they neglected to see the risk behind because they are much focusing on winning which is only at 50/50 chances. I don't get mad at those who think that way because it was their choice. Besides, too many times that they suffered losses but then, they still come back and lose again. It never changes their mind because of one reason, and that is to win the jackpot.
3994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: October 26, 2020, 04:30:12 PM
  • The first online casino was launched by Microgaming in 1996 in Antigua, and had 18 casino games. Source
^It's been 24 years when online gambling was first launched and now there are hundreds of thousands of online gambling sites circulating around the world.

This what we called development. You can't certainly say that over 10 years there is nothing to see any improvements, and we have it yeah.
The growing number of online and offline casinos means that many people are discovering gambling by now. More people are engaged on the internet which a tool that helps them to find gambling and have them feel good and relaxing while staying at home or anywhere. And I expecting more casinos to open in the public in the years to come.
3995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 26, 2020, 03:35:17 PM
At the moment I'm not convinced that we are in bull market. It's still too early to conclude if the price will continue to grow, how much and for how long. To my opinion price will continue to fluctuate and we'll have some price range in between 11k and 12k, maybe even until the end of the year.
Maybe they are so excited but I supposed to think the same with them.
As bitcoin price reaches $10k, I already think that we are already in the bullish season. Because I'd never think that it soars like that despite the economic crisis due to the pandemic situation. We got $10k, $11k, and finally, we got $12k plus, and so much hope for the trend will continue and possibly make for a $14k breakthrough. Of course, I'm not in 100$ believing but I couldn't make myself as well to pull-out my trust in it as it happens already in the previous months.
3996  Other / Archival / Re: Again nobody needs DEXs? on: October 26, 2020, 03:03:54 PM

And should anyone be surprised by this?
I would be willing to bet that if we do a polygraph test more than 99% of the people using crypto will have to admit that the most important thing is profit and they don't care a bit about the rest, and it's pretty normal, decentralization is not buying you a new car, some fantasy token might.
Indeed, profit is what they after why they come and risk in the crypto world that even they don't have assurance but then, they are still willing to gamble here for they think about easy money, huge market gains. And that 1% left could be you (and me) and some of the common traders who think that DEXes has nearly become obsolete as CExes moving forward.

Well, I don't think also that people care much for anonymity that DEXes may have but instead, they are willing to lose it just for money. That is very influential...
3997  Economy / Speculation / Re: History repeats itself? on: October 26, 2020, 02:17:04 PM
Is that even legal for creating a chart like that lol
seems odd to me personally.
Can we relate the invention situation 11 years ago to today situation? Especially during pandemic?
Even a perfect formed chart can still go into wrong direction right?
Everybody seems loved to referring current situation to where bitcoin going to the moon , i am a little bit concern regarding this.
When our confidence has reached the top but the reality dumped it all , dont forget in the recent days there is a lot of big company hold large amount of bitcoin that can always splashed to market.
Have nothing to make deal with those presentations. Every day it changes, the trend changes as well. Because even me, I don't think also that the market flows today will likely behave the same thing it does before, that seems impossible since then.

If the market reaching for another ATH, it was a lucky day for crypto and for everyone. To be honest, it is hard to expect it especially in the current situation that we have facing today. The struggles, the pandemic haven't yet got over but I was then truly amazed how the market behaves differently, opposite to what we are expecting most. But that is not the reason that I should believe history repeats itself.
3998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My opinion on Airdrop or Bounty hunters who dump token after the campaign on: October 26, 2020, 01:44:47 PM
It was stressful to think about bounty and about the airdrop. They are no good this time especially for airdrop and I don't know why people still participating in airdrops since they know what could be the possible ends, they are actually wasting their time on that. We can't blame others, that even the one who runs bounty and airdrop campaign but definitely just ourselves. Though we condone such activities, however, we can't hold innocent and no-how individuals to take the risk.

And my opinion of this, better to stay away from them. Any promotion that runs unquestionably should be ignored and much more for any airdrops.
3999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unacceptable attitudes from new project teams on: October 25, 2020, 11:35:24 PM
Bounty managers of this forum it's time to wisen up, I know few bounty managers are already doing this but majority aren't,  top rated crypto projects that raised millions of dollars successfully are finding it very very hard to pay Bounty Hunters their tokens after all the hardwork talkless of med rated crypto projects, they feel reluctant to pay bounty hunters reward so I'm begging you guys to start compulsory Escrow, if every bounty managers they seek ask for Escrow they won't have any choice but to comply
It is all about money offer. It is also about on BM discretion to accept the offer or decline it if knowing there is unreliable thing possibly to happen just like scam or Ponzi scheme promotion. The bad thing is that many new BM hasn't done thorough research before accepting the offer that is why many of them had been fooled by the scam projects.

And to talk about escrow, yeah, we can assure about payment but it just stops there. What bounty hunters trying to know is that they are assured that the project is already listed to an exchanger where they can make a trade of their rewards once they received it.
4000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 25, 2020, 10:51:43 PM
For my ends, I'd never think that there is next ETH to appear and replace its capability because there is nothing that could cope up with its place.

I can remember before someone asking "What is the next Bitcoin?" The reality is that there is no way to find another coin that replaces another. They have differences, uniqueness each coin and therefore, I couldn't imagine another coin that replaces ETH, the same thing that EOS or XLM that many are commended. Coz I know that only ETH exist in the crypto space, the value of this platform can't be compared to another IMO.
