41  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new to crypto where to start? on: February 09, 2018, 10:42:21 AM
Dear all,
After I received hundreds of bitcoin and crypto adds on my social media I decided to join the forum to find out more about this blockchain technology. I found this forum huge and have no idea where to start. There is so much to read about. I could use some help to point me to the right direction to catch up with all this stuff here. Any help would be much appreciated.

You will be prone to scams. I would suggest that you find a
friend that you trust and ask for his help. That will be the
easiest way. Also, buying bitcoin depends on your country.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price bubbled? on: February 09, 2018, 03:41:05 AM
Bitcoin has gone through a lot of hardships. And will be going
through more in the future. The technology evolves as forks
happen, while pump and dumps are interesting too. No one can tell
what's next but I see that there's a lot of opportunity in this
currency.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: February 09, 2018, 03:36:21 AM
I would go in real estate investment. You can make a house for
rent or an apartment. That could sustain your daily needs. You'll
just have to wait every month for the rental payment and do
whatever the fuck you want.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: February 09, 2018, 03:31:37 AM
One of the skill for a trader is taking advantage of new
opportunities when they arise, like saving money so there will be
enough cash to trade when dip happens. I would like to make two
suggestions:

1. Make sure you have money during the blood bath.

2. If you take profits, offset a portion of the gain by also
   selling loss position[1]

45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: February 09, 2018, 03:20:34 AM
People who are disappointed in trading are the one's who expects
easy money. Well, there's no easy money in trading. You might
become lucky, but had been greedy and when the dump comes, you
might not be able to control your emotions. Such things happen
for people who lost a lot of money. Crypto trading is not only
people but bots and some groups who can make a significant change
of the price.

I'm not disappointed in trading. I enjoyed it. Going through the
waves, selling at a high price, hodling for a very long time
because of crypto crisis. Sticking to the plan. Learning from
mistakes. Building my own trading strategy because I've just
realized technical analysis don't work. That's my opinion.
46  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 08, 2018, 05:03:20 AM
Is it true that coins.ph are now accepting ETHEREUM.

https://support.coins.ph/hc/en-us/articles/360000008622-How-can-I-buy-Ether-in-the-Philippines-

Hindi pa yata na release to. Wala pang ethereum sa website. Nag
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do I have to learn in trading? on: February 08, 2018, 12:50:19 AM
There is only one basic rule in trading: buy low and sell high - LoL.
But to achieve this you need to study, you will not learn it here on a Bitcointalk thread. Go on youtube and look for trading tutorials, spend weeks studying the issue before risking real money.

Yah try start trading from small capital investing in coins with promising growth. Get into coimarketcap.com. Spend time every day here at this site analyzing every coin's growth trend. Split your investment categorizing the coins from cheaper rates to costly ones. Separate coins for long term and short term investments. Start with minimum. You know when to buy and when to sell.
Beside I think new traders can get help from trading signal group or trading tool like Gunbot as well. It make trading seem much easier for new trader cause they know the good price to buy and sell. But there are a lot of trading signal groups but not all of them are good moreover Gunbot price is a little bit high but it's really good Smiley)

Don't trust those trading signal groups. Usually the coin has
already pumped after they announced that it is going to pump. So,
check before doing something. Though, I found the news that they
sharing are sometimes helpful.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do I have to learn in trading? on: February 07, 2018, 02:31:05 AM
You can learn how to trade by trading, obviously. You can't learn
by not doing it. As you do more trades, you'll eventually develop
your own way of trading. Learn from your mistakes. Learn about
technical analysis. Read the news. Avoid trading with your
emotions. Don't trade when your angry and drunk. Good luck!
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals on: February 07, 2018, 02:22:18 AM
You can get trading signals from your experience, not relying on other
people's opinion and news. Just dive into trading. After that, when
you made mistakes, make sure you learned from it and as much as
possible don't make it happen again. Compile all your learning and
share it to us.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now banned in JAMAICA on: February 06, 2018, 01:33:07 AM
Bitcoin is getting banned in jamaica heard recent news
about this ban, stated by the Bank Of Jamaica avoiding this virtual
currency called bitcoin. if you have anymore news leave in post below.
👍 respect. Smiley

Another source of information that I used to refer is this

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

Some peole just use fake news or FUDs so they can buy cheaper
price. But the current trend get's cheaper and cheaper. It's difficult
to prove the original reason though. Anyway, the people I know who
still hodling bitcoin does not anymore care with the news.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy! on: February 06, 2018, 01:24:15 AM
If your not sure You can use dollar cost averaging. This investment
strategy goes like this. For example, I have $1000. Every day I will
buy bitcoin worth $100 dollars no matter what the price is. I will do
this everyday until I spent all my $1000.

In this case I have bought more shares when prices are low and fewer
shares when prices are high. This does not guarantee that I won't lose
money on bitcoin but this will reduce the risk compared in buying
bitcoin worth $1000.

53  Local / Pamilihan / Re: bitbit.cash on: February 03, 2018, 04:47:14 AM

Maganda tong idea na to.
54  Local / Pamilihan / bitbit.cash on: February 02, 2018, 01:46:04 PM

55  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ximply trading -learn how to trade on: February 02, 2018, 01:42:58 PM
Once makita ko na mag start na sya to trend upward then all in na.

Kayo guys bumili naba kayo habang mura?

And tingin nyo magkano ung kikitain ko per day ?

Eto gamit nila

https://www.nicehash.com/

Meron
naman mga guides sa nicehash. Basahin mo nalang. Maka profit yata
sila ng 100-250 pesos per day.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: EOS and ADA, Or is there another option? on: February 02, 2018, 07:27:44 AM
hello everyone have a good day, i have a question what EOS and ADA mean. may you help me. thanks.

EOS and ADA are cryptocurrencies/altcoin:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eos/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/

Today is a good time to buy while it's cheap.
Now the price is low, I think I will buy in bulk.

Be sure to have an extra money if the price goes down more.
That's the lesson I learned during the bloodbath. Too bad, I was
stuck and I couldn't sell because the price went down. Trade at
your own risk mate.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Is Too Complicated for Average People! on: February 02, 2018, 07:24:33 AM
It would be too complicated for a regular people if you tell them how
it works. Tell them that bitcoin is a currency and you can
use it to buy stuffs over the internet. It's that simple.
I remebered how I introduced bitcoin to my parents. the thing is, they were wondering from where did we get our funds from, and i said, from doing jobs in bitcoin forum. They asked more questions regarding this and I really did not know how to explain it in simple terms. I just said that bitcoin is a kind of currency in the digital aspect. in the physical world, we use paper fiat for payment, in the digital world, we use bitcoin. in the forum, we are paid in bitcoin for promoting ads (campaign) that my friend, made them understand (at least somehow) how bitcoin works and how we earn from it.
Just teach old folks  based on their level of understanding, be patient with them and also analogy works!

That's nice story! I like it. If I can just give you merit for
this. Thank you.

Let me tell you another story. The father of my friend just got in
to trading because my friend told his father that bitcoin is like
a bank wherein your money grows over time.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum be a Better Investment than Bitcoin in 2018? on: February 02, 2018, 07:15:42 AM
i think yes
high fees and confirmation delay are killing btc

This is going to be fixed. Devs are considering these problems for a long time.

Actually we are paying lower fees now compare before. I really believe on cryptocurrency and since ETH is a good alternative coin, i think it will soar higher this year but of course bitcoin will do the same thing and will remain on top. Invest on great coins which you think have a great future 1-3yrs from now.

I agree with you. Since there is a race in replacing
bitcoin. There are some altcoins that has great potential
too. Today would be the great time to buy and hold them. The
problem is, which coin? That would be a personal choice though.
