41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: November 30, 2017, 05:23:16 AM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

My fears with be when Bitcoin fells and will have no value at all, but I hope it won't happen anyway. People will support Bitcoin as it is until the end. Smiley
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like to invest! on: November 29, 2017, 11:35:53 AM
Is it to late to start know in 2017 to invest in virtual coins and is any advice for "dummies" around here?

My tip for you my friend is research and study first about the thing you're going to invest in. And also diversification is the key to success.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin stops........ on: November 29, 2017, 10:23:06 AM
What if bitcoin stops? What will gonna happen to the members of this group? What will happen to their investments? Is this forever? How to support this group in order not to stop...?

No one can stop Bitcoin exact all the people itself. We all don't have the same ideas and decisions, so I doubt that it will happen.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: November 29, 2017, 08:03:16 AM
Only yesterday's television shows here in our country could be a bad thing when you get involved with bitcoins. I'm so frustrated that the tv host has shown that bitcoins are a scam. Because of the fact that he has made many people will definitely not try to enter the bitcoins yet. And because that would be like an investment scheme that looks at bitcoins. That's not really true because bitcoins used to do bad things. And what I was most disappointed was that this tv host did not say the good side of bitcoins.

Now my question is how we can explain to those who watch tv that bitcoins is not a pyramiding scheme.

You don't have to worry about those guys, but insure that your country doesn't ban Bitcoins or it will be over for you, but you can always use TOR if it does happen.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? on: November 29, 2017, 06:42:23 AM
Do you think the richest families or personalities in the world would be interested in using bitcoins??
And if so, would that be a good thing for us small people or negative??
I mean rich people are capabale of so much things, so it makes me wonder..

If those people are investors, well maybe they are interested for this new investment, but for some rich people that are only rich because they have a good job or anything that does not involve investing might think twice though.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 28, 2017, 06:34:02 AM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

Bitcoin can be a valuable asset to me, it has driven me to a whole new sighting in life. It improves my importance about money. I already bought my most wanted material just because of Bitcoin.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to day trade BTC? on: November 17, 2017, 07:14:24 PM
Hi,

Basically instead of only waiting for big dips to buy and highs to sell, I am talking about selling at regular high and buy it when it dips $100 lower for example many times a day.

Say you have 10 BTC, this should give you $1000 minus the fees no? So doing it many times through the day you might add a new BTC to your wealth?

Is this reasonable or is there something I am missing?

Thanks in advance.

For me, day trading is way more better than Holding. Crypto is very volatile, you can never know when the price falls down or up.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Else Will Bring Bitcoin Price Down and Keep It There on: November 17, 2017, 06:13:03 PM
After seeing what bitcoin has passed through especially recently and still rebounds and rise even higher. I am now forced to wonder, what on earth would bring the price of bitcoin down and keep it there. What do you think will do this?

For me, if you want to keep Bitcoin price at the bottom is you need to kill all the internet all over the world. And also try taking out the power, if you can. Smiley
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how long have you been holding for? on: November 17, 2017, 03:27:43 PM
How long have you been holding your bitcoin for so far?

Honestly, I don't hold, I will try to see the chart to see if it will go up or go down. For me, holding is risky.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 17, 2017, 01:24:09 AM
I cant believe this

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD

The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.

Meh. $8,000 is still cheap, people will still have a lot of days that is going to have a lot of pullbacks a lot of ATH, alot of dramas until Bitcoin reaches $100,000. That isn't surprising anymore for Bitcoin. Smiley
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The World’s Most Dramatic Bubble Ever? on: November 16, 2017, 08:19:04 PM
Oh yeah? A bubble? Okay, just don't blame yourself for not getting with us. But if it is truly a bubble, then congratulations. Smiley Bitcoin is somehow unique at this point of era, we may have a new set of currency now.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2017, 06:46:08 PM
The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

The basic advantages of having a Bitcoin is a chance to make yourself wealthy in the coming days. So be proud of it.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: November 16, 2017, 03:38:13 PM
Bitcoin is changing the way we live.
Bitcoin is changing the way we do business.
Bitcoin is changing the way we travel and save our assets.
Bitcoin and blockchain technology has open new doors for people to do business with one another without the intervention of third parties.

What do you make of this, huh? Share with us what you think. thanks Smiley

Yes, our era of currency is changing by the time, who knows? Maybe we are going to have Cryptocurrencies as our next currencies, we will never have to carry physical money again.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC holders - Do you think that Segwit2x will come alive? on: November 16, 2017, 02:29:20 PM
Personally I dumped my shares of BTC 9th November after the suspension of the fork. I just don't see how the high-price right now justifies the value.

So why are you guys still holding onto it, or buying in now? Huh
Do you anticipate that some rouge miners will carry on with the Segwit2x fork ,and then you claim your shares?
Even if the fork gets carried on, will miners really mine it? A coin without support from the community, I see more drawbacks than advantages.

LOL. Having a fork doesn't always mean having free money out of a new coin that is coming out from Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the main Crypto and all other alts need Bitcoin, so why should we dump?
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 16, 2017, 10:51:52 AM
As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.

Likely my first profit in Bitcoin is I am going to buy myself a bike, well, that's my ultimate goal since I've been here so might as well reward myself first, then I'll focus on earning BTC more.
56  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: bakit ba ayaw magpakilala ni satoshi nakamoto? ang father of blockchain.. on: November 15, 2017, 04:39:52 PM

57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 15, 2017, 12:12:44 PM
Most people now with the rise of bitcoin value, just want to hold bitcoin for as long as they can so that they can maximize their worth. But isn't it a little too greedy to just keep holding bitcoin?
We've all read that story in the school with the moral "Greed is a Curse".
So what if too much greed in bitcoin may backfire? What if, the hodlers end up with nothing?

Nah, Bitcoin is the main or the mother of all crypto, so if it'll drop to something, of course we will hope that it will go up to the price you bought again or even higher than that. So don't worry.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to quit now, network getting worst on: November 14, 2017, 11:56:39 PM
Network getting worst....there still about 90K unconfirmed transaction and transactions cost become so high.

If this keep happening, price will drop into shit soon....it could lead price to below 5K soon
There seem no way to solve this network problem, transaction per-second more higher than bitcoin network can handle.

It's up to you mate, but if you ride the FUD it'll be your decision, somehow, maybe they are just up to something to bring the price of Bitcoin down in order to accumulate more into lower prices.
59  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ximply trading -learn how to trade on: November 14, 2017, 08:48:07 PM
Wow, sa ginagawa mong ganyan sana biyayaan ka ng maraming good karma, buti naman hindi ka sakim sa kaalaman mo at pinili mong maka tulong sa ibang tao. I salute you pre. Smiley
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC dip over? on: November 14, 2017, 07:23:46 PM
If any technical traders out there are looking at BTC, what do you see? I am not a technical trader, though I do know some of the patterns and retracement levels.
To me it looks like it tested 5500 two times but got rejected. Furthermore, it now looks like a W, so that we can (technically) expect BTC to go up again, unless we have to test level 5500 again.
What do you see?

You may have a good point there, but for me Bitcoin will always react to the news and FUD around it. I hope these dramas will end so that we could see our Bitcoin soaring again.
