41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: December 02, 2017, 10:46:46 PM
I would say hold, next year, years will be good for ETH.

They say ethereum will make a price rally next years but I don't understand why. Maybe because of pos system in ethereum. I would hold all of the ethereum if I were you.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is is still a good time to Invest in Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 10:35:30 PM
When you decide to buy bitcoin at a high price such as right now, over $10,800 and may increase even further, just make sure you can deal with it just in case the price drop back as much $1000-$2000 if something bad happens even though the chances are small for bitcoin get corrected again.

There is no word of too late or too expensive at this point due to bitcoin more likely reach $12,000 or even $15,000 by the end of the year die to bitcoin futures will go live on December 18th. There are some speculations about bitcoin may reach $100k or $1 Million in 2020. There is no loss of you invest in bitcoin and can wait for a long-term obviously, that's the point.

You explained it very very well! Thanks for making us feel a bit better, because I faced some loss in my last bitcoin investments and I saw thousands of dollars loss in my portfolio. Then bitcoin recovered all of them and made gain for me.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you trade stocks before bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 10:19:40 PM
How many here have traded stocks or other financial assets before trading bitcoin? Were/are you good at it?

I've traded stocks off and on for 17 years, made good fast profits on most my trades, but lost 2 big ones because of inexperience, or not doing any research. Last year I made 70% on gold mining stocks, after learning the hard way in 2008 to stay away from the junior explorers.

I'm an old trader in stock market but my trading history is not that intense like you. And then I decided to get started with bitcoin, so far so good in bitcoin market. The market keeps going well.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: December 02, 2017, 10:01:58 PM
Yes, Bitcoin will survive longer. Segwit and hardforks are made to make bitcoin more stronger. In upcoming years there will be more hartdforks and segwits will occur. It will increase value of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is really a great source of platform, used by anyone to make transactions without any third party interruption. Bitcoin have also proved its existence. So Bitcoin and blockchain technology are the future of tomorrow's world.

There are rumors taking place about bitcoin and they do this every time when they want to make a dump in the price. But every time bitcoin survives not getting died. It will maintain its operative structure next years as well.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: November 27, 2017, 08:43:04 PM
Ideacoin is going to sell out tonight! Only 1.5mio coins left at time of writing. It is gonna go 5x after ICO. Sign up here: https://ico.ideacoin.co/invite/Pikachu

That is another clone of BitConnect. Ponzi and scam. You shouldn't be posting your reflink to that shit here.

Stay away from those ponzi things.

The best pos one is NEO for me. It gives you GAS and if you have big sum of NEO, you can have a passive income by selling the given GAS on exchange sites. Waves is also gives tokens for waves leasings.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: November 27, 2017, 02:55:17 PM
The easist way to overcome the fear of holding is buy a coin and do not check it's price till the moment you want to sell it.

Yes, but how often can you follow this advice. I mean if you have coins with you , you will always be tempted to see what going on in the market? Whats the current value of the coins and other things like that. And if the price is very low you will be worried and a high price will give you greediness to sell the coins. Rather than stop watching the market, you should make your emotion strong and have control over your emotions.
It is difficult to not check the value of Bitcoin while you are holding it because of its fluctuating nature and present progress. In my opinion the best way to conquer your fear is to face it. Buy a coin and look at the price at least twice a day.

This will help a lot in getting rid of fear and it will also develop a good understanding of digital market but the most helpful thing is patience and a calm mind.

This is my problem for holding a coin. I always keep checking the price from my cellphone even in the toilet. I can't leave this behaviour. I couldn't find a way to leave this i the past. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated here. I understand the users who are in the same position with me.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 27, 2017, 02:40:43 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
As you say bitcoin reduces the unemployment rate but it also increases the unemployment rate. It's not as simple as what you're thinking, bitcoin has a lot of drawbacks and it has a lot of bad sides that make us poor.

Can you please explain what are the drawbacks of bitcoin and how can it make you poor? Your action will decide your end results and if you will spend your bitcoins on gambling sites then you will surely become poor and you cannot blame bitcoins for that as majority of people have become rich with bitcoin and you are the only one I see here who is poor even after having bitcoins.

Bitcoin doesn't cause unemployment to decrease in poor countries since poor people can't utilize bitcoin and they can't trade it becaue, simply they don't have any free money for this. Bitcoin doesn't affect unemployment surely.

48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better exchange to trade on: November 27, 2017, 02:00:33 PM
I use Poloniex and Bittrex for high amounts but I already had some problems with withdrawals and deposits mainly at Poloniex. Both exchanges have high turnover and are reliable, my problems were in the delay for the service but every time they were executed.

Poloniex has some interesting features like the use of margin trading that helps a lot to make trade pricilalmente if it has few currencies, and also has lending that generates some lending

For few values has yobit also that use, very good simple, and market a little slower. For those who are coming is very good. And has some investment features that generates an extra profit.

Poloniex is a little problematic and they broke the trust they have and the reputation lowered. I prefer Bittrex and Binance now. I also use etherdelta for only tokens. I can suggest you Bittrex if you want to feel comfortable while trading your coins.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: November 24, 2017, 12:39:34 AM
there have already been attempts to survive bitcoin and no one had time to do it, is the Foundation of the cryptocurrency market, it grows and grows interest in it.
Yes. it is true that bitcoin is the foundation and the pioneer of all the coins, it is the beginning of the cryptocurrency and it is already tested by times. As time goes by the bitcoin was kept in dominating among all the coin in terms of market value and popularity, as i see that many people around the world are benefited from it and in terms of security the cryptocurrency is design to be untouchable and very strong againts attacker, and with all this reason the bitcoin will keep on ticking and licking for more coming years to come.

I am also believers of bitcoin. That is correct bitcoin is guaranteed and tested in time. Although some are trying to attact bitcoin but bitcoin remains undefeated and continue to survive and won't last.

The security concept of bitcoin code must be good as I heard from the software guys. For the rest, we saw lots of event including governments bans, forks, rumors, etc. Bitcoin survived in all cases.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 23, 2017, 11:55:28 PM
Yes, sooner or later... But maybe not to crypto currency yet, maybe some other cashless methods. Have you ever seen people paying by cash in StarTrek, that's the answer to your subject question  Grin

Yep, absolutely, surely cash will be be history, already cash is being reduced in few countries and digital usage is being promoted heavily.
Special rebates are being introduced in my country to transact digitally. Also new ways  are being implemented where fund transfer has no fees provoking users to go by that path. Cryptocurrency will not make our world cashless, it will be the legal tender itself and government which will do so.

Cash will never become extinct. It's been here for centuries and it will stay here as always. The changing thing is that some digital assets will be the new friends of cash, that's all. No need to discuss weird thing about the removal of cash.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for $1 Million !!! In ten years? on: November 23, 2017, 04:31:06 PM
Theoretically, this is possible in the event there are only a few coins left and al lot of people only wants to have Bitcoin, however we need to also consider that Bitcoin is not the only crypto currency around, there are a lot of altcoins that can have the price of Bitcoin today, in the future, and it might replace Bitcoin as the currency, but not Bitcoin as the asset, still I don't see bitcoin hitting 1 million USD in 10 years, there's still a lot of work to be done and more and more people are just about to venture in Bitcoin.

If it comes to $8.000 from $80, this makes 100x times price increase. Then why not for another 100x price increase next years, especially in 10 years. Bitcoin is capable of everything, adopt it and have it, the rest is happening itself.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: November 23, 2017, 04:12:51 PM
It is relative.
I think that NOW it is at ~380$ and the fragile part is last 80$, it case of bad news or rumours, it could go down easily to ~300 $. So yes and no. There is some layer of speculation and then there is "base" where long term holders are located and possibly ICOS are involved in this base level as well.

It's not relative to me. It's not a bubble too. The ethereum has less value than it's suppose to have. This is very obvious when we check all other hype altcoins and trash tokens.

I hope ethereum will find its natural value within 4-5 months.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: November 23, 2017, 03:48:38 PM
I hear from many sources that btc is used for trading much more than it is for goods and services; doesn't that make it an asset ??
and is that necessarily a bad thing ?? and what can we do about it as a community ??

It can be treated as both since it purely depends on the user's purpose on it. Generally, bitcoin is regarded as an asset since people mainly use it as an investment for short term or long term purpose. Otherwise, mostly view it as a currency since its value can be convertible into fiat, considering its significantly high price on the market. Others view it as both since they withdraw their bitcoins for emergency purposes while retaining some for their investments. Like I said, it purely depends on your use and your perspective on how you view it.

Bitcoin is the mixture of both. It's not a pure currency and it's not a pure asset. It's in the gray zone in between these two. That's why lots of taxation discussion is now taking place in united states. They want to define a classicification for bitcoin.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 23, 2017, 03:32:31 PM
It is for sure possible and that is what we are seeing right now actually because more and more people are realizing that FIAT is worthless as it was created by private organizations and is controlled by them so they can create fake debt through inflation that benefits them but it is at the expense of everybody else and this has been happening for so long so it needs to stop.
To me I think that It is looking an impossible job that the fiat currency will crashed because the fiat currency has build a firm trust in the hearts of the people all over the world as the people are using are it for the last several centuries. Furthermore fiat currency has physical shape that’s why all the people are very much confident over it and they are using it in their local markets.

Fiat money never crashes. Only countries crashes and then that fiat money is affected. Otherwise it's a perfect system for the economy participants clearly. With fiat money, tons of transactions and tasks are being completed on the world.

56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Clashic (NEW fork, not Bcash) on: November 19, 2017, 03:51:05 PM
Then we need to say "welcome" to this new garbage and trash. After bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold garbages, we actually don't need another useless bitcoin fork, but it seems the people behind it don't think like us.

Hope, no exchange lists this coin.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Drops From $2800 to $1300 on: November 19, 2017, 03:18:15 PM

Bitmain is behind this bitcoin cash thing. Jihan Wu is the owner of Bitmain, as you all know. BCH will decline more from this, trust me. They don't have a future, but they try to create an artificial future with bitcoin cash.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading rules? on: November 19, 2017, 03:01:39 PM
“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.” - Albert Einstein
Are there any rules for trading coins out there then I can learn and follow?
Which you guys are following when trading. I mean things can make me different than today-a newbie.
Ex: Don't buy if you don't know about it or when should I sell when should keep, react with rumor etc...

Never say never for the altcoins while trading. Never listen to others when you're pesimistic about something, your holdings. Always play in moderate level. Don't borrow money to start trading. Don't make over trading. Don't get fooled by the scammer projects.

Attention for the hype projects, stay away!
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: November 19, 2017, 02:27:47 PM
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.
I believe people tend to sell their bitcoin because of a very obvious reason: it is to earn and gain money instantly because it might be their own way or strategic way of gathering their funds to sustain their needs and wants. It maybe also because they got attracted into the price offered if they are going to sell their bitcoins. Or maybe also because of desperation on earning money or an emergency wherein it takes much higher price if they are going to sell their bitcoins rather than saving or holding into it.

I think in a different way, when they need urgent cash, they sell their bitcoins. Otherwise, they would hold it without selling to another person. They see this as an extra income source and they make it liquid by selling.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you choose you altcoins? on: November 19, 2017, 02:07:12 PM
Why do you decide to hold your altcoins? Because of your researching about that coin or just because people on this forum said it's potential?
Another reasons?
I try to hold my altcoin because i believe that the developers will be delivered its promise. I try to hold it caused by myself and there is no intervention from another person in my personal thought about that,
But i just hold the promising investment.

Not for potential for me. I only select them for speculative reasons like value increase, and price rallies. I want to multiply my capital by investing and buying in them. I don't care the rest of the idea.
