41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holiday Crisis on: December 12, 2018, 10:55:13 AM
Well, whether we want to call it holiday crisis or we want to refer to it as BER month issues, the thing is the market will always do whatever it wants to do. We have been in a downtrend since the beginning of the year, and there is possibility we might see the continuation until next year, contrary to the complete bullish year we had last year, but it is what it is. The market is giving an opportunity to buy, so we will surely be buying.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using API keys on: December 12, 2018, 10:08:14 AM
Thank you very mmuch but it can connect only to Binance and Bittrex.
If you are looking for a platform that can connect to multiple exchanges at the same time, I will say you should give coinigy a try then. I have been using this since late last year and I have never had any need to worry at all. It is a web platform though and you only have a month free trial to get used to it, after then, you will need to pay up every month.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: The mentality of an average wannabe investor on: December 12, 2018, 07:40:07 AM
I do not know what these people doing on bitcointalk forum if they did not believe in crypto future, especially these people which saying that Bitcoin will go to zero. Emotion driven investing decisions usually are bad decisions. I am glad that I did not invested more than I am willing to lose, so my emotions about my investment are not that strong.
You really do think most of the people you see on bitcointalk have a clue what they are doing. Virtually a larger percentage of the people on bitcointalk heard that they can make some bucks from campaigns and that was one of the reasons we saw so many of them driving here like bees. Sometimes, even when I get to see what some legendary members post when it comes to the way the market is behaving, I tend to wonder if they even managed to learn any lesson at all since they have been in this space.

It is what it is, mentality of people when it comes to increasing their wealth is to just hop into anything that makes that possible, as long as they hear of the promise, and they never care to learn the needful to make them understand what it takes to even be able to make good decisions when investing.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you use for storing ERC-20 token? on: December 08, 2018, 08:45:03 AM
I also use MEW. It is simple and convenient. And most importantly has good protection.

Using MEW directly will give no protection at all, you will need to buy hardware wallet first and then be safe, otherwise the login method will be too exposed.
Imagine logging in with your private key and there's this malicious software running without you knowing, you'll probably get stolen
The best as far as I am concerned when it comes to storing any asset and most especially ERC20 tokens for long term is actually a hardware wallet. Sure, a lot of newcomers tend to dive straight into the use of MEW, but one thing with MEW is that when you end up vulnerable or you make yourself vulnerable to attack by mistake when using your account via MEW, you can enter a big hot pot of soup for that. Sure, one can use it to generate a wallet, and you can go offline for as long as you want as long as you are not making transactions, but the safest way is to just get a hardware wallet for long term storage.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: December 07, 2018, 12:18:54 PM
Today’s event about ripple and Etherum has just shown to all that in crypto currency, prediction is not totally allowed neither is it the best resort.

We can only focus and do our research works
The risk is inevitable

hope I get more ideas from replies
It is necessary to search for new ideas! Good luck!

I believe searching for new ideas is more like been smart and wise when taking risk. investors need to make a calculated risk based on the quality of product a project has to offer.
A bounty hunter has to do more than just promote project, but research and find out the perfect projects from the fakes we have around.
That is just the best word for the whole thing! Calculated risk!! Sure, investing in the market is a huge risk, so having a knowledge of that means you should be learned enough to know how to treat your investment. The market is new and pretty unpredictable and as long as you do not know what it takes to play safe in the market, you may always be on the wrong side of investment and profit every single time. For now, what is important is to always know when to buy which is now, what to buy and why you should be getting in now. However, like you said, it takes being smart to be able to handle all of that.
46  Economy / Service Announcements / Bittrex Announcement on Telegram on: December 07, 2018, 08:53:51 AM
I have read so many times on this forum on how users keep saying they have been missing exchange announcement, and they always wish they tend to get news early for decision making. I am not sure if this telegram group is an official announcement of Bittrex, which I doubt it is, considering it has low number of followers and not mentioned on Bittrex platform, but whoever is behind it is really doing a great job with the pushing of latest news on bittrex such as coin removal, latest listing and more. I joined few weeks back and it has been quite informative, so I thought I should share which you can decide to check it out yourself.

Disclaimer: I am not in anyway affiliated to this, but just trying to be a brother's keeper, trying to share info that may end up being useful for someone in the long run, since this is what this forum is for anyway. Best of luck in your crypto endeavours.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that ETH will recover? on: December 07, 2018, 08:37:28 AM
I wonder where you actually saw the quarrel from. There may be a lot of cryptocurrencies out there, but for those who are more utilized, they will always have a chance, and ethereum is one of them. This is a bear phase for the whole market, so trying to picture the idea of no recovery is something I believe you really do not want to be doing. Every market recovers as long as it is useful. It might go lower, but a stage will come when it will reach the rock bottom and demand will soar in greatly for it.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will waves price touch $5 by the end of this 2018? on: December 07, 2018, 08:10:53 AM
The good thing about waves is that there has been a lot of development lately and I feel it is one potential giant in this market and those who are keying into that future would likely be getting the best of it in the long run. However, there is no one who can tell exactly what the price of waves will be in the long run. I guess that is something we will just have to wait for time to make that decision as far as I am concerned. Nonetheless, I can see the market trying to make some movement lately. Let's see how far that goes.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value lost with the fork on: December 06, 2018, 10:18:57 AM
I guess it is something normal that at times like this, people tend to look for something to pin on everything that is happening in the market. Either some people say the future market is the problem today or the bitcoincash fork is the problem tomorrow. This is a market, and the chances of seeing it fluctuate hugely is something expected. As far as I am concerned, the market is still doing very well looking at the past to the present and maybe people should use that to judge the possibilities of the future and be patient enough.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: To Trade on Bitmex or Not to Trade on Bitmex That is the Question on: December 06, 2018, 08:19:47 AM
Monkeys can use BitMEX
Pigs can get slaughtered
Bears can get liquidated
Bulls can get liquidated
Whales can get liquidated
Order could not be submitted: The system is currently overloaded. Please try again later.
People can also get liquidated
But that's about it.
That is basically the thing with leverage trading, we can all get liquidated, and there is no exception. This to me is more or less like gambling, and in this scenario, you really want to be careful which is why I always tell people that if you do not want to get burned easily, never trade margin without a stop loss and with nothing more than 10x to always be on the safer side due to the market volatility. A lot of people who approach trading as complete gambling without plan and strategy, met their fate in the real gambling that comes with margin trading. No escape from it when it comes to getting liquidated for not knowing what you are doing.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't sell your bitcoin expert warn. on: December 06, 2018, 07:37:35 AM
hi guys today I see this news which some expert says that hold your btc and don't sell.
Here is link check it--- https://cryptonewsreview.com/dont-sell-your-bitcoins-experts-warn/

I fully agree with that statement, because I believe that after the storm there is  a new day to build a new future and dreams, just hold your bitcoin until the price back and earn more by just simple way of holding your bitcoin in your wallet.
Of course, there will always be that new day to come and the market will never remain in one trend forever which is something normal. There will always be time for an uptrend and a time for a downtrend. This is a time for a downtrend and a time I see as the moment to be launching into the market gradually for the long term. Not something I will be missing though. As I am now, I even hope we break lower than $3k towards $1k+ to load my stash in a bigger way than anyone can imagine. If you believe in the future, you would not have a problem.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: December 05, 2018, 09:07:56 AM
I think people who sold at 6000 to 7000 range have been proven wise specially now when btc has drowned further into the valley as deep as 3500, so that few months period btc gave us chance to sell and buy back now at cheap price, i hope fromhere on btc will start recovery.
One thing with a market is that it will always do its thing and as we are all retail traders, it is one thing to just simply know how to play along with the market when it comes to quickly cutting loss, and trying to take advantage of the market at certain points in time. Sure, a lot of people may be wondering if they should be selling now, but the truth is that it would always be a hard thing to achieve when you sell the market the wrong time, and this is a wrong time based on the fact that, you should be selling when everyone is greedy as that is more of an easy way, than when everyone is scared.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: December 05, 2018, 08:37:31 AM
I don't want to recommend any coin for January 2019 for now,it will be better to still watch and study the market for more days to see possible change we will have, crypto is unpredictable.
What is actually there to recommend than to actually look around, find what is worth investing in and then invest in it. There are so many coins and tokens in the market now, so selecting what you feel you are comfortable with in the long run is what counts as an investor. What is important is to check all the details of the project backing the cryptocurrency you are investing in as well as the team and MVP most especially and then deduce from there if it is something you really want to be taking advantage of.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: December 05, 2018, 07:42:47 AM
Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?

Bitcoin is created as a blockchain-based alternative payment that can be extensively use when all currency become digitally based. Bitcoin provides fast transactions that doesn't need intermediary which uses mostly by the banks. The digital revolution that already starting now will make bitcoin more attractive to the investors and merchants than the digital currency that issued by the governments. So there is really hope for bitcoin's future in the coming digital era.
Bitcoin is even getting more attractive to investors and for those who obviously know that this is a space that is going to grow and advance more than this in the long run, will realize being hopeful about the future is not even something anyone should be debating. We are seeing the way financial institutions are beginning to find a way to want to enter into the space at all cost, we can see the way mainstream adoption is gradually kicking, and in all these, it only ends up making a lot of huge sense for the investors as time goes on due to mass adoption. So, being hopeful is a normal thing right now.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Price Action vs Fundamental on: December 04, 2018, 11:22:35 AM
for major correction fundamentals will be good after that you will see those movements in charts as price action if you are new wait for corrections until you see majority for bull candles above a good level than think of entering with good risk rewards

Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley :)For major correction fundamentals will be good after that you will see those movements in charts as price action if you are new wait for corrections until you see majority for bull candles above a good level than think of entering with good risk rewards.  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Thank you all, but both of you answered in the same way Huh
That's the sample of copy pasting neither accidentally or just basically showing off that these guys are just alt-accounts to each other.

By the way, answering topic, fundamental is somehow connected with price action yet you can utilize news events on such possible order would be made.
LOL. Copy pasting with a smile at the beginning at the end of the last one. Users in this space, will not seem to keep amusing me. Fundamental generally like you said should be connected with price action, but fundamental in this space is something you really do not want to care much about. However, anyone who wants to use fundamental should at least wait to see the reaction on the chart first, which is where it would be easy to anticipate for a possibility, but not until then, as you always want to make sure you are threading the market cautiously.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Walll Street dumping to buy cheap on: December 04, 2018, 10:36:29 AM
This is basically what they have always been doing all their lives and as long as there will always be people who do not understand the market, and know that whatever we are doing is just to try and benefit from the trend, as in the end it is always who is able to quickly make the first move, the wall street will keep doing this over and over with a hard solid target on the weak hands. Has always been their thing and they are good at it.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Very stable BTC dominance on: December 04, 2018, 09:18:06 AM
I can feel that people are nervous because most people don't even take time to address the point of "BTC dominance" and straight go speculating about BTC's bright future.
It is a normal thing to expect people to be nervous at times like this. It is indeed a trial time for those who possibly entered the market late last year and obviously, there is always going to be that need to keep looking for ways to at least make it a lot easier when it comes to trying to put their mind in check. BTC dominance at this stage is not a bad thing nor a good thing per se, it is something that just happens based on the market movement, and flow of funds from bitcoin to altcoins to fiat and vice versa. So, in a way, it is not like BTC dominance being stable now means anything substantial.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The rise of crypto-AML: good or bad? on: November 30, 2018, 04:02:18 PM
There is absolutely nothing wrong with AML. Generally, when you give people a chance to do things without rules and laws in place, people will most definitely go overboard in running things down all by themselves. Even with the AML in place, we still see the level of things going on in this space, so imagine when there is totally none at all, just like Haroldtee said, that typically brings high level of insanity to the space.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Investor Sentiment on the Cryptocurrency market on: November 29, 2018, 04:26:04 PM
news may also affect the market, indeed investors are now smart they can know which news is true or just FUD, but indeed the impact of the news is very directly hit with the emotions of every investor, just as the current btc price drops, according to one source affected by the news will be a statement from Benolt coeure and head of BIS Agustine carsters, besides that there was news about civil sanctions from US stock exchange authorities for holders of bitcoin, and that was enough to make things chaotic and make old investors panic.
That is something a little bit hard not to experience in a volatile market, but generally, the easiest way you can at least overcome any emotional sentiment, is to understand that it is normal for the market to always behave this way most of the time, but it is left for you to understand that you are really focused on the long run and you understand there is potential in what you are holding as an investor. Cryptocurrency market is still very young, and volatility is something that we cannot run away from at this stage.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Bitcoin Dump is caused for one large player on: November 28, 2018, 02:51:27 PM
Rumours are that Faketoshi is backed by institutional money, I know he’s a con man but he may have people with very deep pockets behind him attempting to get the price low so they can all load up or they may be trying to stifle bitcoin.
Faketoshi is backed by no one, as all I see is just one empty barrel trying to make lots of noise. Even if he is holding a huge number of bitcoin while claiming a whale, I wonder for how long will he even have to dump before he runs out of juice. Getting the price low is not even my problem, as that even gives more chance to get in at a very good price. Like Pursuer said, all I can see in the market right now are whales trying to screw the minds of the newbie with wrong mindsets up.
