41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will stablecoin be the next flashpoint In the cryptocurrency world? on: April 20, 2021, 02:29:09 AM
Stablecoin is not only a means of payment in cryptocurrency, but also a bridge between the financial property and the use property of the token.

The biggest stablecoin is the USDT for Tether, but I'm not bullish on it because it doesn't have a real entity.
The most successful one in my opinion so far is DAI, but it still has a lot of problems. I expect to see stablecoin with different solutions.

Standard Protocol is an innovative stablecoin project that I have seen recently.
Let's discuss with anyone who is also concerned about stablecoin.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the BTC bull market over? Polkadot ecological projects go rising in Apr? on: April 20, 2021, 02:13:30 AM
I don't think this bull market is over, but it is another wake-up call.

Try to buy spot, do not add leverage, do not be greedy, see good close.

I was lucky enough to buy UZ at ZB.COM and make a 50% profit. I am still paying attention to this project. As long as the bull market is still in place, good projects with certain technical advantages or project innovation will have room for substantial growth. Cool
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Standard Protocol would be the next valuable coin on Polkadot? on: April 19, 2021, 06:24:01 AM
I am very optimistic about this project, and I will participate in IDO next week.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Standard Protocol would be the next valuable coin on Polkadot? on: April 16, 2021, 02:58:35 AM
Polkastater will only announce projects in the next few days, and there should be updates soon. Most of the new Polkadot projects will take off from April to May. Let’s wait and see.

As ur mentioned around April or May ,

then next question is WHERE

Huh Huh ???polkastarter  or any else ??

It will be launching on Polkastarter platform for IDO at 27th, April.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB hits record high at $638 today. Will Standard Protocol be the next BNB? on: April 15, 2021, 06:01:49 AM
Not only did I not miss BNB, but I was also following the project you mentioned. Roll Eyes

I have been following Standard Protocol for a long time. It’s the first Collateralized Rebasable Stablecoin (CRS) protocol for synthetic assets that will operate within the Polkadot ecosystem. The first and only Polkadot Web3 foundation granted project from Korea, with a global community growth approach.

I will keep an eye on it. You are welcome to share more info about it.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POSITIVE PREDICTION AND SUITE SAYING BEGINS AGAIN on: September 04, 2020, 02:51:21 PM
People need to wise up, there is no certainty that the price would go up and again we are about entering into September, the month has history of Bitcoin performing badly and if I were you, I would scale into my position gradually and  not once to see how Bitcoin performs

Many predictions are not really working well.  A lot of people said price would fall after halving judging from the past experience of halving history.  Lo and behold, price was doing well.  I don't really rely on market speculations or predictions all around.  I just do what I know is safer to some extent and weigh the risk of every option.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I go into this crypto???? on: September 03, 2020, 06:11:15 AM
I've heard people talking about other Cryptocurrency and even I've known alot about some of them, I've made careful research about some I'm even yet to know about, but I've not seen too may people talking about Pinkoin and I'm about to join that, please can you share with me your views, I need to have good understanding of it before I go on. Thanks so much 🙏

Pinkoin is a new decentralized exchange coin developed by a philanthropist in Nigeria who claimed the intention of poverty alleviation and equal distribution of wealth.  I have registered an account with the exchange and people that have registered before June, 2020 have started collecting minimum of $100 per week.  My opinion is just that, it doesn't really cost you much if you register, there are different levels of registration there and you can start with the minimum which around 1000 Nigerian Naira ($2.3).  The project still undergoing several testings for now.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM GAS FEES MIGHT NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN on: September 03, 2020, 05:59:45 AM
With the current situation of things in the ethereum blockchain. i think the ethereum has gain much value and adoption with the rate at which the DEFI markets are gaining attention. Uniswap exchange, the number one leading exchange in terms of ethereum token trading volume has made tremendous update where blockchain projects and DEFI  can list their own markets(list tokens and their trade pairs) within the UNISWAP platform. such introduction will continue to increase as  the DEFI market continues to dominate.

With the recent situation, i don't think in any way that the gas fees will ever go down and we might see ethereum prices hit 1000 again.

Honestly, Ethereum gas fees is increasingly mad nowadays.  Just yesterday I wanted to withdraw an ETH blockchain based token I got through airdrop on CCTIP bot, I couldn't believe the gas fee.  I wanted to withdraw $23 worth of tokens and the gas fee was $22.5 worth of ETH... So insane.  Recently, Binance is considering increasing the gas fees of all Ethereum based tokens on the exchange. I think ETH foundation just have to do something about this.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 02, 2020, 02:52:53 PM
Top 10 DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization on coinmarketcap are in Negative/Loss 20 Hours change.
What do you guys think, time to invest or it's finally dead?

I know you will agree with me that, crypto market is volatile and it's unstable, definitely there will be change.  That is just less than 24h change for those top DeFi, so we can't really say much for now, though there were lots of hypes and some manipulation when it comes to them.  As it has also been noted, one must thread carefully in an attempt to invest in them.  But let's give it some time, we can't really conclude for now.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who has the eye that looks into the future? on: September 02, 2020, 02:45:47 PM
Few years back, I could remember Cryptocurrency wasn't really known by most people and the idea was joked with, even I myself didn't have a thought on it, but the growth of crypto is now alarming that almost all my friends are into one or two of it. Looking into the future I suggest Cryptocurrency will suspend other past used currencies and take over, what do you think?

That is the trend of life, when you come out with an idea, it's only very few that might probably see into what you're seeing but majority could not.  Later when others realise it's becoming real, they will start joining you.  That's why there are levels of adopters (innovators, early adopters, late adopters and the never adopters).  Crypto has come to stay no matter the challenge it might still face.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 10:30:18 AM
The blockchain and cryptocurrency industry is an industry that is constantly changing and evolving. So it’s hard to give you a binary answer inmy opinion. I honestly love both the projects.

However when I look at it from a larger perspective, I realize that the industry is rapidly changing and the top project maybe something we least expect. I see a lot of development happening in the Web3 ecosystem with respect to Polkadot. I see new projects like Concordium which are exploring new paradigms like Faas( Finality as a Service ) and are backed by years of Academic Research. DeFi is changing the way we know Finance.

If there is one thing we can learn from the industry, its that change is the only constant and BTC is King. It has always been.

Ofcourse Ethereum is very innovative, it is infact one of the most innovative projects out there, but BTC will continue to dominate unless Ethereum brings something so huge that it will lead mass adoption and will be seen a better store of value than BTC. Ethereum was never intended to be a store of value.

I could remember we've discussed this kind of topic over and over, this is  just a recycled topic.  Not trying to derogating the poster in any form at all.

On the issue of ETH overpowering BTC.  The fact is that, it might be difficult, but nothing is impossible in life, it may not be possible now but there could be possibility sometimes in the future, especially if bitcoin fails to develop at expected rate and ETH is getting some exponential use case, definitely there could be some shift in power.  So, it might be terribly difficult, but the possibility cannot be ruled out.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Platform on: September 01, 2020, 10:21:18 AM
Starting to learn more about crypto , I find it really hard to know more about it in just a short time , I know it will take a long time and everyday studying to be able to understand it well.

Just as I was starting in this world of crypto  , a new term has been the hot item nowadays , DeFi platform. I'm really trying to do a little bit of everything from bounties , to Airdrops, to Signup to have free bonuses , I didn't get a lot of chance learning about this new thing on crypto.

Anyone , who can simplify DeFi ? 😄

At least realising that knowledge is very crucial to making it in crypto space, is a good step towards developing yourself.  However, as some members have also suggested, this forum and some other legit crypto platforms with reliable news can help you in learning fast than just participate in airdrops, giveaways and bounties alone.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn.Finance (YFI) hits $28k on: August 31, 2020, 10:15:30 AM
Just finished writing a post on someone else's thread about it:

They were smart enough to set their supply to way fewer coins than most cryptos, and that attracted a lot of attention from everyone. If you were to multiply the 30k supply by 700 times (to get to BTC's max supply) and then divide the current price (~$29k) by 700, at Bitcoin's supply it'd be worth $41.5 right now. It's a very very vague calculus but I'm only considering the supply & price/coin.

In other words, it may be more expensive than Bitcoin but do people really not care about anything else besides price at this point?

As you are a Newbie, I would highly recommend you not to jump straight into the pumped coins if you're contemplating to. YFI may be $100k in a week or .. $1k. Volatility is a thing. You just don't know, and the timing is imo very risky right now. It's been a long time already since it's been very bullish. Coins that have really hard pumps usually have a period where the hype bursts out, and the price almost always follows. Therefore, just be careful when investing and make sure you don't get yourself screwed up by false hopes. Smiley

I strongly support this. Honestly, there is a kind of manipulations with this YFI.  A friend of mine called my attention to this some days ago, he said I should invest in it.  I was still weighing my option of doing that or not.  I just don't want to be a victim when the whole thing burst all of a sudden.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: August 31, 2020, 10:10:26 AM
Once COVID-19 took the world by storm, the world's economy has been on a constant decline. Crypto has largely benefited from this, as the market experienced new gains in such as short amount of time. There's now a stablecoin and "De-Fi" craze making many ERC-20 tokens, stablecoins, and even Ethereum extremely popular in the mainstream world. Their prices have increased at a fast pace, leading many wondering what will come up next after the demise of COVID-19. If the world's economy starts recovering at a slow and steady pace, crypto's gains might not last for long. Maybe everything will return back to the way it was before the deadly disease? Or maybe crypto prices will remain stagnant on the market?

Whatever happens after COVID-19, there's no denying that crypto is a resilient alternative financial system in times of need. In a first of its kind, crypto has remained "impervious" from negative events in the mainstream world. My guess is that crypto will continue to go higher in price even after the demise of COVID-19, as people's trust in the banking system will diminish. The premier cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) will be officially recognized as a true alternative of Gold, proving itself as a store of value in times of need.

Thoughts? Huh

First of all, I don't see COVID-19 ending any time soon, it is not a curse, the world has just to live with it for some time as we have been coping with Poliomyelitis and some other viruses with the help of vaccines.
Whether the pandemic ended totally or not, crypto will still continue in its fine form as you have said.  Many have believed, that it is a good alternative to their fiat banking system, some know what they have gained from it within a limited time.  Recovery of world economic does not stop further adoption of crypto at all.

I will be updating this guide with more altcoins in the future. Hope this will be helpful for new users who want to invest in Altcoin.
If you have any feedback and any other Altcoin you think should be part of this list, let me know.

If you find this helpful, you can click the merit button to add more value to this post, Cheers!

You have done a great job mate.  However, I think you need to provide us with some technical information justifying your method of picking these altcoins that others do not meet.  At least you've done a lot of research on this, we appreciate you for that, but we need more technical back up. This will go a long way in giving us more assurance.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 01:56:32 PM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.

May be may be not.  But to be frank with ourselves, I don't think it is possible with the current market situation.  What we are just expecting now is the coming year, if bull run will come.  But the possibility of it happening this year is 0.5
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: August 28, 2020, 01:46:27 PM
Hey Guys,

Can someone explain what are these altcoins and what is the exact reason of so much growth in just 24 hours?
Are they scam or legit? Thanks.

Image:

The real token that actually had close to 700% plus profit recently was Invox Finance.  When it was listed, just about two weeks later it mooned from -4% to $694%.  I think few people really got something from this because it was rarely expected.  I have sold in hasty 65% of that coin I got from bounty at a very ridiculous price before the thing now mooned.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: August 27, 2020, 02:38:57 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

I could remember one bounty I participated in some months ago, the token on spreadsheet was even converted to dollars. So when we check the spreadsheet, instead of looking at the number of tokens we have, we only saw the amount of dollars the tokens worth then.  So everyone was just so happy then and calculating the amount of dollars we have.  Not knowing that, we are only building castles for ourselves in the air.  Till now, we have neither received token nor dollars.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the project is fake? on: August 27, 2020, 02:30:00 PM
Fake project is really frustrating if you're one of the victim especially for investors and bounty hunters.
I had read an interesting way to make sure the project is real. You can identify the project is fake by it's address of the company who is running IEO/ICO. Fake project would be indentify with this way because they put fake location. You can check it with google maps to verify if it's real.

So how do you indentify if the project is fake?

Hhmmm...identifying fake projects!!! Well, the issue is that, there are some red flags that are glaring pointing to a particular project to be fake.  However, there are some fake projects that were well packaged in such a way you could not even discover at all.  For example, on the issue of address you mention, fake projects can have real address.  We can only try our best to do findings and stare clear of the glaring red flags, but you cannot totally discover or run away from all fake projects.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 27, 2020, 02:24:58 PM
I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

Let's first get  our self clear of a particular word 'dump' that we used to misuse.  Anyone can decide to sell at any time with or without any reason, you're selling your coin not dump, at least you got some amount on it.
Away from that, there are many reasons I sell my coin; it could be urgent financial need or I observe that the coin I'm holding do not have a reliable future among other reasons.
