Anyone found solution for incompatibility between ati flasher and latest win 10 version 1803 update? (other than not updating windows ) Yeah, roll back the update My guess is that Microsoft made it harder for programs to directly communicate with hardware, which is usually desirable against malware, but in this case they broke legit app too lets hope ATI sort it out soon (although it wouldn't surprise me if this was intentional, similar how Nvidia doesn't allow easy flashing) Hi branko, RX560 mage! Techpowerup published Atiflash 2.84 fixing compatibility with Windows crap 1803. See here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/ati-atiflash/I flashed a bios yesterday and works! (still with same interface, showing only 3 GPUs, whatever)

so the no-cache is bad on the A10. It's very good on modern Intel, decent on Ryzen and bad on Core2. And so, bad on A10 too. So keep the config you had found before, with two normal threads. I won't have time to fix the A10 autoconfig in next version, will be for 0.30 edit: i'm polishing the GPU version. I see very strange results on my Pitcairn rig (five different Pitcairns : 7870 and 7850, 1G and 2G...) On my 2G, when I use all the memory available, I can reach 526h/s on my 7870 2G, and 495 on CN-v7 on my 7850 2G, which is far above what Claymore 9.7 gave on CN-Classic. It's even the best score ever I reached, period. Maybe i didn't configure SRB well, but so far i didn't reach such an hashrate. But on my little 7850 1G, that's terrible, i peak at 343 where Claymore gave a whooping 450 ! It looks like my code is faster when using the double-memory, but a lot slower otherwise. And double-memory is barely possible on 1G cards. It works on Bonaire 1G because it has a little GPU that can be saturated with two threads using ~512M each, but my Pitcairn 1G are underused by an order of magniture... The total hashrate of the rig, counting the 2G that mine faster and the 1G that mine slower, is 10% lower that claymore 11.3, but with 0 bad share, where Claymore, as I said previously, gives ~10% bad shares on old GPU when configured at max, or is stable at 10% lower hashrate. 0.29c onlineUse of the GPU version frontend, but GPU disabled Support of Masari fork --variation 11 Support of Haven fork --variation 12 Stellite defaults to XTL variation ETN defaults to v7 other coins that have forked will default to their respective fork Coin list in alphabetical order new coin : BXB new coin : WOWnero -b parameter ignored for compatibility with AwsomeMiner ditto with parameter --api-remote I have to news, a good and a bad one: The good: JCE is lauching normally by Awesome as CPUMiner-Opt. Hi patrike. For now, no reports about the cryptonight mining. All fine But I have a question about the "Execute batch commands". I really don't know what syntax I use. What the correct use? Example: I'm trying to execute OverdriveNTool.exe -p0RX570CN before mining GPU-intensive coins. I put the executable and the .ini file with profiles, and it doesn't apply. How can I set it? Can I execute the command from another folder than the miner's.

no problem, i'll ignore the parameter --api-remote. do you need i ignore -b too, with a dotted ip after ? i think i'll release a last cpu version using the gpu version, but with gpu disabled. then a alpha with gpu+cpu
Yup!

You are doing much progress with GPU. wow man
Sorry if it's boring, but I have to discuss Awesome Miner again.
Well, I tried today to run JCE "inside" Awesome miner. As you said some pages ago, JCE Miner has some similiarities with CPUminer-OPT API, so I tried to "camuflate" JCE as CPUminer-opt. Not success here
But reading log, I found the solution (or just a piece): The problem to run is the option "--api-remote -b 0.0.0.0:4034". I can set -mport easily, but Awesome don't alow to put off the --api-remote option.
To solve this, just ignore the --api-remote option or accept it as --mport (with IP:port form). Could you do this in the next release?
Thanks a lot man! Your miner is I M P R E S S I V E!

Hi patrike! I'm trying to download 5.1.5 version, but updating by Awesome itself is pain with my poor internet connection. Could you provide a download link? I'm really excited with newer features

is there any different in timing strap for Ethash vs cryptonight V7? i mean if we have best timing in the ethash will it be the best timing for cryptonight v7?
Fine tuned timings can lead to better results in one over the other. ultraheavyarmswithlasers2048, what timings usually lead to improve CN hashrate? Just RASMAC? tRFC is rellevant? Sorry if it's your personal work, but I really having trouble to fine the ETH BIOSes to CN.

Suddenly getting this error in the command window after coin prices have been updated for stocks.exchange
Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at AwesomeMinerCoinUpdater.AwesomeMinerCoinUpdater..ctor(Boolean EnablePriceCache) at AwesomeMinerCoinUpdater.AwesomeMinerCoinUpdater.Main(String[] args)
any ideas?
Check if you put a "," instead a "." at somewhere Yep, checked, even deleted all the old files and replaced with new download off AM coin updater. Still happens Copy your config file here. Let's see what's happening

Some of these results are not making sense at all.
I have tweaked my Asus RX580 (8GB) according to best guide and not getting over 1000 hash on each. I dont think its possible unless you having clocked it to have hundreds of memory errors and card then fuck up..
So! If you don't know how to do it then it is impossible? Didnt say its impossible, just saying with the dodgy overlocks your not considering power draw. Considering the safety of your cards, then good luck with your power bill vs profit of mining. Good luck with the life of your cards.. You need good timing straps to reach 1k+ on CN-V7. 8gb cards can do 1k+ on CN-Heavy easily. I have also got 1260 H/s on an RX 570 8gb card (1466/2300 clocks). They do 1140 H/s @ 1250/2240 clocks and 900mV core (105w from wall). So it's pretty much possible. Also, All 4gb cards that I have Elpida, Hynix do 1k+ on CN-V7. Your Micron straps are impressive. But did you made some "magic" with your Hynix straps? I could just reach 940H/s with custom timings :/

Hi Guys, what hash rate do you have on "heavy" with rx 570 8gb ? my max is 740 ;( on normal algo with claymore i have 880...
Check if your boards are in Compute Mode What intensity do you are running?

Hi Patrike,
There appears to be a glitch with the manual algo configuration for coin statistics.
I have manually entered XTL on the page as using algo CryptoNight StelliteV4, but when I close the window, the profitability data for the coin drops to 0 even though it has active difficulty and pricing data, If I remove the custom algo change, profitability data returns to the correct figures.
Thanks for reporting this scenario - I've just implemented a correction for it. It turns out that the mapping to another algorithm works fine, but some of the latest Cryptonight variants (like StelliteV4) wasn't calculated correctly for coins-per-day by Awesome Miner, resulting in a close to zero revenue. I had this issue with Stellite (+AWCU). And I tried all night to solve it. At late night, tired, I played Fallout to calm down. lol

Nope. I can reach average 1100H/s in heavy with 1310/2020 (Samsung, 940mv cvddc) with no pain. Well, I did some tests with intensity but was not hard to find the perfect balance (between 56 and 58). For Micron @heavyarms shared his own timings some pages ago and they are great. Ubermix timings are good for Samsung. So, there are many knowledge around this thread to find best performance. I'm trying to find a way to break 1000H/s with stability with my Elpida. I had good results with some mixing, but when I reach 1000H/s with low memory clock, the ETHash performance drops even with high clock (it doesn't makes sense). You did hardcoded bios mod or you using OverDriveNTool? Both My bios has customized timings (some of them with tips from here, mixing straps, doing voodoo and dark magic) for my Elpida and Samsung. OverdriveNTool is a handy tool to disable useless p-states, set clocks/voltages and target temp. I really don't like to set it all in bios. OFF: And guys, please don't fight. Or, if you want to fight too much, please find a place, open a live stream to us and fight to death. I collect the bets

How are these items set. I noticed that they are changing between timing straps for the same Memory but I am unsure what they are dependent on or correlated to. Are they Tied the physical card or are they determined by settings in the CAS & RAS timing. If you have a search term to use I will go look it up on google, however when searching these terms I get this forum and other Memory Strap guides but no explanation on how to properly set them. ####MC_SEQ_MISC#### MC_SEQ_MISC1 = 0x2014080C MC_SEQ_MISC3 = 0xAB0089EA MC_SEQ_MISC8 = 0x00000003
Those are the tetriary (or are they tetriary?) timings. They do not affect have much effect on sped, a bit on stability. They do not weight much at all. I have copy/pasted them most of the time. They include the stuff like Memory Training, Power-up sequence, Mode registers blah blah. At least thats the impression i have been left with. Those are dram training timings, they affect a lot if you know how to tune them, they contain DRAM clock latency, write recovery, write latency and RDBI/WDBI training bits + a lot more that usually won't touch. I really didn't knew about it. Awsum! Do you know any place/app/mage/witch that decode these timings? It's something like "a new world showed for my eyes" lol Again: I don't want a "ready" timings (okay, I would be happy with then) but just a way to do tests and tests and tests to improve performance.

I tried using the template bat.file...but not working..the mining window keep closing.
i use as follow:- coolMiner-x64 -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://angrypool.com:20012 -u Gdb43xnQZGF5wMBRKD3YRhUvga8j5Aj554.Rig1 -p x -i 19 --hide-diff
and when i download the file inside only got "coolMiner-x64" application file that all.. am I missing anything??
Are u upgraded your Nv driver above 390+ im using on one rig with 397.31 an another rig with 398.11 and no problem. I tried to run coolminer in 391.24 and the miner doesn't start because it miss CUDA 9.2. Cuda 9.2 is included (as far I know) in 397.xx drivers. And I've had freeze issues with 397.xx drivers (various versions) + Windows 10 LTSB + Afterburner or any monitoring/overclocking app Do you are able to run Coolminer in 391.xx drivers? How did you made it to work? Sorry my really bad english.

|
|
Thanks! Could you compile a CUDA 9.1 version? The lastest drivers are buggy with Afterburner/Xtreme Tuner (freezes at applying overclock) and requires lastest Windows version.

I can beat stak and xmrig, they both use the same old code from Wolf0.
And claymore is a beast on CN-Classic on HD7000/2xx with 9.7 With 10+ i get high displayed hashrate on hd7000 but 10% bad shares, i can fix them by lowering intensity but then the hashrate itself drops by 10%.
On my dual Baffin i use the most for tests, i cannot get more than 915 on CN-v7 from Claymore, with a pool hashrate reported around 870. I made JCE run at 965 and stak at 940 with my current status. I didn't even started optim of CN-Heavy, it's a very different algo when implemented on GPU.
SRB, i'll do the tests you advised with my HD7870. I also tested my Bonaire, which sends 240 on JCE, 265 on old Claymore 9.7 but is not even supported by Claymore 10+ That's consistent with the current 10% loss against Claymore 9.7
No dev today, my whole rig is dedicated to stability tests. Uptime 24h on all my GPU, no crash. I'll go back to dev after 48h of uptime, that will be enough to say it's stable. Testing during dev is very long, a bug in the OpenCL usually crash the GPU since the GPU memory is not virtualized like the one of a CPU. Sometimes the drivers can reset the gpu, but usually it just crashes.
If you want, I can help you with my mods for RX460. Is possible to reach 530~550H/s per 460 4GB in heavy. For free. I'm glad for your impressive miner. If you want, just send me a PM with your email.
