61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash miner for CUDA GPUs (8.0.0) on: June 04, 2018, 12:23:21 PM
Is your miner running Ethereum fine with GTX1060 3GB?

If you are reffering to me, I have not even tried mining Eth since I bought my rig. I'm into other coins.
My question was for OP Smiley

About ETH: me too, my last time mining ETH was in august, but I have some ETH in Ethermine and would be nice to fill the minimum payment with my 1060. I will give a try to Bminer

RIP Sumo. Dumbest decision ever and ever... Greedy bastards. Bitmain involved 100%. Gave some cash and devs fucked the loyalty.
Hould be more honest to say "hey guys, we filled your pockets and money is more important than community"

RIP Sumo

Hello Doc!

Next week XTL(stellite coin) be forked to new algo CryptoNight variant xtl.

Do you plan to add this algo to SRB miner?
It'll be very useful feature.

P.S. xmrig have it already

WBR

Ya. Is a CN-V7 version with minor changes. https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtl-stak/blob/0be955abb58aa8ce9e24283aa16f6753c7a00b55/xmrstak/backend/cryptonight.hpp

Hi man!

I'm trying to mine with multipools.bat now. It's good to especulating

But I'm having the same issues I had in the past (and solved with your help): The miner closes after internet connection's drop. But is a lot more complicated to do the loop inside the multipools.bat to restart mining. What can I do? My DOS abilities are null ;p

is there a "ideal scenario" to run GPU-Z? I noticed a hashrate drop while running.

For who had success doing this: what you did? What version? Running gpu-z.exe -minimized? How can I minetize the procedure?

Patrike, I won't tested the SRB's config yes (i'm at work) but I want to ask for somethin I couldn't find:
Is there a way to track the "worker path" through the day/week?

Explaining:
Sometimes I think pool isn't being "fair" with me. I can see the satoshis earned in the last 24h, but I can't see (easily) if my cards was full time at that pool or I dont want to check every pool to check how many time i mined for each.

Sorry my bad english?

I and other people are suffering some erratic failures with the AW api, with the extension of AW coin update. I know it's a separate development, but it seems that AW sometimes fails, and when it happens it's a failure that stays for days.

I have reinstalled the AWCU extension, I have reinstalled the latest version of AW beta. And it does not work.

This afternoon the system worked, but when I was mining with the same machine that has AW installed, I launched the AWCU currency updater, and gave that error, and I can not eliminate it.

The other time was an error that also disappeared only after the last update. I do not know if there will be a relationship with your API.
This is an exception in the coin updater so it needs to be invetigated from that point of view.
Update: In AWCU thread the issue was found: a user's syntax error.

patrike, In the new version is SRBMiner's config.txt override allowed per algorithm?

EDIT: At the "mining software" section my question is answered.

that is increasingly common and can not read the difficulty, XVG is an important currency for not having your data

Is not Verge on "WhatToMine" ??
Just add the Verge's jsons provided by whattomine in AWM. It's easy.

--- SRBMiner configuration page to override config.txt via a Profit profile

Nice! Awesome miner! (damn, worst pun ever)

But... Again, I have some tips to improve the SRB integration (sorry, I think you are bored with my comments).

SRB needs differents "config.txt overrides" for every algorithm. For example:
Config.txt for V7 needs "normalv7" at the first line and different intensity/threads if you compare to CN heavy.

With the current testing version, you can set only one config.txt override for Profit Miners. So, you can fine-tuning just one Cryptonight variant. For example: you can set profit miners to switch between V7 coins with SRB, but can't add Heavy ones.

It's possible to solve this by two ways:
1- Allow override config.txt by algorithm. It could be the best option, because you can setup the best values for every algorithm and be happy with auto-switching Profit Miner.
2- If the first try isn't easy to do, you can just allow Custom miners (maybe the market as SRBMiner compatible ones) to override config.txt. This way I could copy SRBMiner into another path, and set it as "SRBMiner Heavy" and set custom config.txt, then copy other one to "SRBMiner LiteV7" and set another custom config.txt, etc.

These ways could solve the problem and allow us to "dance" with all Cryptonight variants.

Sorry my bad english ;p

And thanks for your Uber Max Awesome Miner! Cheesy
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Custom R9 380 BIOS for 23-24Mh/s on: May 21, 2018, 12:03:47 PM
I'll answer the question that I know

2- You won't be able to open the file with Polaris Bios Editor because it isn't a Polaris BIOS file. It's Tahiti (or Tonga, Or some that island that I don't know). You can try Hawaii Bios Editor

3- Danger is around us. Every different model is a chance to "swipe" memories in a different order than Nerdraph's bios.

4- No. The R9 cards doesn't take any effect from Blockchain driver or the lastest driver's Compute Mode. It only affects Polaris cards. Because this, R9 cards suffers a lot from DAG size increase.

Each pool has special configuration for the worker name

example

              {............   .............   .......  wallet address+worker name} ....
In miner rocks just set password as "w=worker" like "w=mynameispotato"

I don't think it's the optimal settings.

CN is more power friendly, and 140W is much power. I think 90W could be more efficient.

And CN likes memory clock. 600~700 is better than 550.

Try to mine CryptonightLite/IPBC coins. It's very cache-friendly and run smoothly in most CPUs

I recommend the JCE-Miner. It's the fastest for me.

Hello ,
I bought a used RX580 nitro+ on ebay , it's a samsung memory , but the first owner flashed the bios. How I can recover the original bios to know the exact memory model in order to use a good strap?

thx in advance
if you said samsung then it's samsung, it won't changed by flashing the bios. strap from PBE should be good enough for samsung.

You should read how to flash your BIOS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0 and use the UberMix 3.1 when you do so.
For now I think it's the best Samsung strap, and the easier one.

Cryptonighy-Heavy.  1200+ H/s on RX 570 8gb (Micron).  Also, serving as primary display card so couldn't push them too far.  Makes my Vega 56 look bad hashing at 1400 H/s  Cry

have left them hashing at 1130 H/s 1250/2200 clocks @ 906mV.
Damn!

Awesome hash!
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: May 14, 2018, 11:53:45 AM
Hi patrike

I'm happy to see SRB in the miner's list. Is the best CN miner for now. It's better 'cause customization give more hash, and set it individually for every card.

But I'm having trouble setting it to my cards.

Explaining:
I have a RX570 4GB and a RX580 8GB. I need to set different settings. In CN-Heavy, for example, I need to set intensity 59.5 and 1 thread 570 4GB, and for 580 8GB intensity 54 and 2 threads.

I can't set it in Awesome. When I set gpu_config in config.txt in User/Appdata/Local/AwesomeMiner the miner can't start. If I set -c config-Heavy.txt in command line option into the Profit Profile, the miner can't start.

SRB can't deal with command line intensity, just config.txt. Could you add a field like HiveOS do: "config.txt override", to add a line in config.txt and allow we to set manual intensity and threads?

Thank you in advance.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.2 on: May 10, 2018, 02:43:24 PM
Just started mining heavy algo for the first time on one of my rigs (RX 570).
Used to have ~950h/s per card on normalv7, now ~725h/s on heavy. Can somebody confirm this is about right? I set intensity to 0 to start with (had it set at 56 on normalv7 but that crashed almost instantly on heavy - what approximate value should I set it at in heavy mode? Half that?).
Heavy doubles the thread size, so you can:
- halve the intensity and keep 2 threads
or
- Keep intensity (or increase a little) and disable 2 threads

Here the best results are at 60 intensity and just one thread. At 1230/2020 I can reach 775~785H/s in my RX570 4GB 4GB Elpida.

Hi Doc

I'm trying to setting up SRB in Awesomeminer. But I created two workers (one for 580 8GB and other for 570 4GB) and I can't run separated 'cause I can't set it by command line (like -d or -di).

Is there a possibility to setup the config.txt as .bat arguments? Like -d 1 -i 54 -t 2?

You can set different config.txt's and have that run in .bat:

--config config580.txt

and the other with
--config config570.txt

Ya, I know.

But Awesome has his own config.txt file.
