Nodbody can tell you exactly how long , the hope is that before the summer the market will go up. I won't sell now unless you absolutely have to , there is a reason you invested and that isn't to sell on a relatively low price.

Better not predict anything in this case. The market is highly manipulated by big players so we're at their mercy. Think about pump and dump scheme. What if the whole market is a pump and dump scheme too? Then we might be in dump stage. Bitcoin was pump from below $1,000 since start of 2017 to around $20,000 at end of the same year. It's possible to get dump to that low level again. Not to mention other cryptocurrencies which staying at low level. This is a proof that most people aren't interested in cryptocurrency. We who're participating in this space are minority of the world. If this trend continue, our number will decline too. I think it's always hard to find good ICOs to invest. Most are scam or failed to raise fund. Legit ICOs which succeed in fund raising aren't guarantee that their projects will success. Just like startup, most of them will fail. Only handful of them will survive and grow. Some might become world class company and change the world. What I'm worrying is some good projects might not be able to start due to current market situation. People tends to decrease their investment in bear market. The google trend just shows how many newbies are entering the market , and basically shows is there is a bear or bull market. I don't take much from it. On the last part you are right , ico's are gonna have a hard time raising funds since everyone lost a serious amount in dollar. Best thing to do for them is to wait till there is more hype in the market. |

It has nothing to do with bitcoin , it if wasn't bitcoin then it were games or something else. Maybe try and learn them more on economy and investing , since their interest seems to be there.

Come on , you invested more then you can lose which is rule nr 1. If you did any research you knew this was possible and this crash was predicted by a lot of people. For now i should just wait , eth is a good project to be in on. Now you just need to find your nerves and hold this shit trough the year. And do some research on basic investment advice , you could learn a lot from that.

Honestly, I'm starting to think most privacy coins are ponzi schemes in the general sense. I still hope 2018 is the year of privacy coins (I'm invested in COLX), but it seems like there are so many new ones that all do the exact same thing.
There are a lot of good ones , but to me they are to risky to hold. Governments don't seem to like them and if they ban them initially they will lose a lot of value. |

I would keep an eye on Neo and xlm , they already have ico's and projects running on their platform. But eth will have the upper hand the next couple of years just because they were the first.

Yes I'm buying a small quantity every week everytime it goes down..... I don't believe this price could stand for long time......
I am doing it this way to , spread the risk as much as possible. I think we almost reached the bottom and $300 is not happening IMO. Though the market has done stranger things so let's wait it out , either way i will be buying. |

Yes, personally, I do not even doubt it. If you look at the last year, the price of bitcoin has grown a great many times. I do not see anything that could prevent it from happening again. I think that even 30 thousand dollars is not the highest price that he can achieve. There are all chances to get 40 thousand, and maybe 50 or so.
But the market cap already grew exponentially the last year , which would mean a lot of money needs to flow back in. Not taking in account that a lot of people will sell when bitcoin reaches 20k again. It isn't impossible but i don't see it happening this year tbh. |

They have the money and power to make it very hard for crypto to get a real foot on the ground. If you know anything about lobbying you know that is something that will happen. But you shouldn't be that scared , i think most people that invest in crypto are not people really invested in stock. i still think it is a good bet to be invested in both right now.

This is a ridiculous and stupid statement , which was used already years ago against bitcoin. Governments don't see it that way because they see banning bitcoin won't stop the illegal activity. If it is not bitcoin there will be something else.

It is hard to say if that is the reason eth dumped so hard , every coin is down a lot at this moment in time. It shouldn't matter in the end , most ico's don't need the amount of money they are asking for. And a lot of good coins started around here with no ico and no marketing that have grown out to decent coins.

I buy coins because i think they have the potential to give much better returns then 200% . So i just hold it , it is the first step to the amount i have in mind.

It is a good time to enter if you are patient enough , because this bear market can last longer then a lot of people seem to think. Most people say that we will be seeing a bull run in the next few months , i believe it may take much longer. So if you are ready to hold for at least a year then yes it is a good time to buy in.

People are acting shocked about this facebook story is crazy. There are probably a lot more company's who do or have done the same thing and didn't get punished that hard. Most people are so quick to give up their privacy for a bit of convenience in daily life. And people need to remember that faceboos owns a lot more then just facebook.com.

Be really careful with them , most of the time you are on long-term contracts in which you have no idea what the bitcoin price is gonna do. While they technically aren't scams unless you get really lucky you won't make your money back. There are some youtube videos on it with people proving that it is very hard to make your money back.

The last time bitcoin went on a massive bull run almost the whole top 100 gone up with it , so it seems like a good choice . Just do some research and try to see what their place is in the future.
