What is Proxy?
Proxy is a service that has the goal to bring Ethereum (and other cryptocurrencies) to the mainstream.
Our app is simple to use, and simplified so that anyone can jump on-board and immediately start interacting with the network.
Users get a 'Proxy Card' for the account they create (or import).
This card is NOT a debit or credit card,
but instead a complete solution to replace the very people who defeat decentralization (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, etc.)
We believe these cards are bad solutions to the issue of mass adoption.  Your account is secure on your NFC-enabled Proxy Card. Tap against your phone to authorize payments!
Is Proxy free?
Proxy is completely free to the user!
We charge NO transaction fees, NO sign up fees, and NO membership fee.
The only fees you'll pay are the gas fees (~$0.10 each transaction), and those are to make the blockchain transactions you're used to.

How does it work?
Proxy combined security and accessibility-- for everyone.
Proxy Card's are beautifully simple. When you create an account on Proxy, you will either import an existing wallet or create a new one.
The private key of that wallet is encoded with triple layer 256-bit (military grade) encryption onto your NFC-enabled Proxy Card. We don't save your private key unless you want us to!
When a transaction is initiated from your account, we set up all the boring details for you. That way you can review the request on your app, and tap your card to confirm it and send us your private key.
This private key is decoded on our server, we complete the transaction, and forget your sensitive information. That gives you the security of a cold wallet with the access of a live wallet, like coinbase.
It also means that in the unlikely event of a hack or breach, your money is always safe.
It also means that you can check out on our partner merchant sites simply by typing your username, and tapping your card on your phone!

Just a question, is the top left "PROXY" set in stone or can I include my own style in the design? (Proxy Logo + Text).
proxy logo and account name will be printed by proxy team, it is mentioned in template so that you don't design over it and keep it clean in that area ,all grey area is free to design except proxy logo and text. And is the contest ran by someone with Graphic Design knowledge? Just wondering because you're not telling us exactly what elements are and are not going to be on the card on the final printed card+ you're taking away one of the biggest design freedom impacts which is the logo style, by forcing a boring emboss. 1. Why are you not including base element sizes and positioning in your template? 2. Where and how big will the EMV chip be? Silver or gold? 3. What fonts and sizes will you be using for the card number? 4. Where is the User # (001) going to be located on the card? Which font, which font size? 5. Why are you not allowing the graphic designers freedom for logo placement and style? Why the emboss instead of a proper, modern traditional printing on the logo? #1 to #4 should be things included in the template in a downloadable PSD file or at least organized PNGs. All of those elements drastically change what a design is going to look like, I think you need to dump this contest, go over it again properly and then post it with the proper resources and information, or at least edit the post to provide what's needed. I think what you should be doing is to let people design a card completely from scratch and then work closely with the contest winner(s) to come to a final version that both parties agree to, both in terms of visual appeal and functionality. In order to do that, for starters you really need to provide elements within your template that are put in by you onto the card post-design. (Like I said, EMV Chip, Card Number, Expiry Date Start/End, Card #(001,002 etc) And let the designers have control over the logo design etc, which you can then work on with the designer if you absolutely want the emboss. What is that ERC20 method that can burn holders' tokens without their consent?
If you can do that than fuck these tokens as they can disappear at any second. Trust no one.
destroyTokens() is a default function? Really? Or maybe it's just an extension that you deliberately implemented?
I tend to agree. A smart contract with that kind of function is just not "immutable". Not sure if this is a standard function. I would like to refer you to the MiniMe token, a common way to upgrade and adjust tokens after initial release. https://github.com/Giveth/minime/blob/master/README.mdI don`t have a qualm if i got paid double and lost half of it but not knowing how did it happen is a little confusing, as explained above its a double spend transaction so only one TX can be accepted by the network.
They were separate transactions. Our automation double sent to a list with separate raw transactions.
I reiterate, we have nothing to gain from burning tokens after they're in the public hands. The only reason we did now is to correct an error that we announced before we took action. Furthermore, we are having a live stream to demo our product which is being released before a token sale will ever occur.
