lol I read that thread all the time. Perhaps some of them might want one of the [cough blatant ad cough cough] forthcoming bitcoin mining accidents shirts.

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Domaining - list of unused domains you may want; soliciting help on: July 23, 2011, 07:27:44 PM
ROFL. Alex, you've done the same thing I've done periodically (albeit, I was too lazy to post an update)

I was kinda bummed no one posted their registrations in this thread - maybe they didn't see it and their idea was parallel evolution.

BitcoinPorn - where have you been dude ?? Nice to see you again!

47  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 14 good reasons for bidding "bitcoins.com" on: July 21, 2011, 10:35:26 PM
Yeah, those arent worth it either imo... I paid less then ten for mine and would expect to pay that no matter what it says in the title.

That position is like saying "I paid less than $10,000 for my plot of land in detroit and I expect to pay the same for the same size plot of land in Manhattan or elsewhere"

There's a reason you paid under $10. There was not enough demand to make it worth it to anyone else.

I see that the domain is relisted on Sedo (http://sedo.com/auction/auction_detail.php?auction_id=117574)

How do you have it for auction on two sites?

And are you saying that you TURNED DOWN offers between 50 and 99K during the last auction, and you re-listed because you were looking for more?

http://www.bitcoinminingaccidents.com/?p=486

Your trusty bitcoin mining safety advocate and accident reporter is now extending its operations to namecoin mining accidents.

Please be advised to use as much caution when namecoin mining as when bitcoin mining. If you've had an incident, we would like to hear about it.

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Guinness World Records on: July 18, 2011, 09:24:30 AM
This is a very good idea; has anyone made the effort to get in contact with them? The community is obviously for it. Many people have invested a lot of money, and are proud of their gear. They wouldn't mind showing it off to the world!

Yes i'm filling out the claim right now!

hope well get the record!

on bitcoinwatch its 150petaflops!

Anti-procrastination! I like your spirit.

Yes yes ya'll, we're gearing up for more, starting out with some mellower selections.
55  Economy / Goods / Re: 17 BITCOIN REALTED DOMAINS FOR SALE on: July 18, 2011, 08:49:51 AM
I actually have those domains btw if anyone wants to make an offer.

You need to change your contact link to your actual profile if you're looking to hear their offer.

so many domainers in this thread, why don't we just have a swap meet like they're trading cards.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Guinness World Records on: July 18, 2011, 04:44:34 AM
This would be some great publicity.

I love the guinness book of world records!

They also make a really great beer.   Grin

Yeah, but Guiness is a little weak for my tastes ;>

Arrogant Bastard World Records ??
57  Economy / Goods / Re: 17 BITCOIN REALTED DOMAINS FOR SALE on: July 18, 2011, 02:09:38 AM
thanks brocoin.
remember that Juvenile song, 'Back That Thing Up' ?  I would make that the slogan for backyourbits.com - "they call me big daddy, won't you back that thing up" and then a picture of a wallet or something.

e: just realized that was the censored version of that song. might be too subtle then.
