41  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: June 05, 2018, 02:33:22 PM
Well, this is the possibility.

1) Some noobs still curious what is Bitcoin, then they buy it
2) People still believe Bitcoin is the future money
3) Greedy people want to make profit fast with Bitcoin.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: They are the silent majority. on: June 05, 2018, 02:31:55 PM
I'm a 21-year-old college student. They say Bitcoin is an invention that will change the world and benefit mankind. In the past two months, I wrote dozens of emails to the leaders and celebrities in this field to try to raise money for my sister's surgery which can save her life. But they all choose a silent treatment, there was no reply. The same thing happened on Twitter. It seems that all they concerned about is how to fish for fame and compliments. Maybe this is the real world.

First of all, I am sorry for your sister condition.
I think this action is not suitable anymore. Raise money for surgery on the Internet is riskier. Everyone does not know you.
I believe, everyone that see your emails will detect you as a scammer. I think there are a lot of ways to doing that properly.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: June 05, 2018, 02:27:16 PM
I wanted to say that I have stopped sharing my crypto interest with close mates of mine.
Because they will became greedy and jealous for that money they could have too.
But the problem is that they are seeing a results of hard intense and long work! My tokens sometimes costed me like 3 months of work, (not the hardest, but anyway).
And the are saying then - teach me how to do that! Teach my now in half hour! So I would have my $1000 tomorrow!
And then they are trying to do something here for 5 days, nothing comes so fast and they give up,
also the relations are harmed...

Thanks for your attention folks! Nice days!

You should also tell from the most difficult side.
Not only from the good side of it. Because the fact is,  the crypto world is not easy. It took a strong mentality and worked on it for a long time.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex USD trading pairs on: June 04, 2018, 10:07:14 AM
I like Bittrex. This exchange always makes a new improvement.
Unfortunately, USD trading pairs still are forbidden for several countries. I hope this pairs will open for any countries.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLATE (SLX)- Thoughts? on: June 04, 2018, 09:49:48 AM
Slate (SLX) after hitting their soft cap of $20,000,000 in the first day of the pre-sale a couple weeks ago, has now been pre-listed on Hong Kong's HitBTC ( a top 10 exchange).

What are your thoughts on the project and what should we expect from them going forward?

I personally like the project. Road map looks good. Team is pretty solid. And it's ambitious as a project.

LMK what you think!

All right, I just visited this link https://www.trackico.io/ico/slate/
and I see that ICO has 4.1 scores. I see also they have own blockchain, so Its a plus value for this ICO.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best way to buy NEM/XEM ? on: June 04, 2018, 09:47:00 AM

As far as I know, you can buy that coin only in Cryptocurrency market.
NEM (XEM) already has about 40 markets, you can see it on the following link. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nem/#markets
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ? on: June 04, 2018, 09:44:23 AM
Some people says hodl is the best way to make big profit. I am not a good hodler. I just hodl genesis vision for 3 months and made 3x profit but the other I always sell in a week or 10 days. Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ?

I could say that depends on what coin that you invest in.
If you invest and hold on top ten coins, I can say that its possible you can achieve that profit.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICOBench reliable source with ligit ICOs? on: June 04, 2018, 09:42:39 AM
There is a huge number of ICOs coming this year and we need some sort of filter to chose most reliable and ligit ones. I personally use ICOBench.com to filter good ones based on overal ICO rating and segregated ratings per Team, ICO profile, etc. I wonder if it is a good one, or there are more reliable ones out there?

Personally, this site only gives us an raw information about an ICO.
But the important thing is, we must research deeply about the ICO itself, and do not depends only on the information that ICO listing site provides.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 02, 2018, 11:40:22 AM
Hello guys and gals , it is certain that the field of trading is very profitable, but regrettably, I have seen many beginners start in this area without any knowledge of the basics. In fact, this class always fails and lose a lot of money because of their hastiness or rashness.

So, according to my experience, I want to give some useful tips, and hope they will help everyone, and will be as the following :

1- Read and learn the basics of trading:

-I think the best way to start understanding this field  is by reading books related to digital currencies,  but unfortunately, the issue that many people  read only the first pages of the book, then they stop.

"The more that you read the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go "
                                                                                                                                                            -Dr. Seuss
I suggest some books, and they will be as the following :
Cryptocurrency: Beginners Bible:

Mastering Bitcoin for Dummies:

Cryptocurrency Trading & Investing

-Learn how to analyze and deal with different situations ( pump, dump ..) in a smart way. Plus,  try to help yourself  with yourself, Do not complain and ask for help from the others, because no one is in your place. And even if you fail in the first attempts and lose a lot of money, then It is not the end of the world.
Believe me, learning from failed experiences will help you in order to improve your next choices, and you may start to gain a significant proportion of money.

2-Stay away from media news:

Media are always manipulating traders through some false news and even the social media (Twitter, Facebook..), They may even control what happens in the market (crisis, jump), in order to achieve the interests of some (the capitalists) and regrettably, many believe the information and fake predictions.
" Do not be a sheep and act like a wolf "

3- Be patience  and  try to be brave , not afraid:
The field of trading is profitable when you are patient and not hasty like many, and of course you must take advantage of the opportunities intelligently.
Fear is one of the most important obstacles that lead to losses, especially in difficult situations (big crash), like, panic selling...

IMO, Courage is by taking the risk, especially when there is an unexpected event (Big drop).
"Big risk, Big gain."

Cheers,  Grin

Well, this is topic is quite useful. I would try to buy those books. Can I buy it on Amazon?
Recently, I only study all Cryptocurrency stuff via the Internet. I think it's time to learn from those books.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KAPU - The first Archaeological Blockchain - on: June 02, 2018, 11:28:52 AM
SCAM, They banned me on telegram groups just because I was complaining about the development. The main and only dev is Giovanni (BitNow), after 8 months there isn't nothing to see yet, all the community is against you. Martino Merola (CEO) doesn't reply but keeps deleting messages of investors tired of your bullshit.
Soon there will be an accusation thread and I hope for some legal actions because are the only things that you deserve.
Really bad management, worst ICO I've ever seen.

It is unfortunate.
I think the team should not doing that.
They must be more transparent to the community about the progress.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 💰⛏ 💰⛏ 💰⛏ ICE ROCK MINING ICO2 - LIFETIME PROFIT on: June 02, 2018, 11:21:58 AM
Actually, this title of the thread a little provocative. "Lifetime profit", really?
How come you can guarantee such thing like that? We all know the Crypto world is very fluctuating.
Sometimes profit, sometimes also can have big loses.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 02, 2018, 11:16:56 AM
Has anyone noticed that the Ethereum gas prices has steadily been increasing since May 23? I used to set gas prices as 1 - 5 gwei and now it's a minmum of 12 gwei. I checked and it seems outbound TXs from exchanges are set to 50 gwei.

I wish someone knows the cheapest day and hour to send transactions.

Yes that' because of all those stupid flash games people are playing with real ethereum.

What the name of the game? Is it like Cryptokitties?
Well, this is quite problem for ETH. The platform sometimes can't handle the transaction of game based platform.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SGO][airdrop] Selfie GO - AR Social Network on: May 31, 2018, 03:15:22 AM
All right, a question here,
Do you have any competitor? Honestly, I want to try your MVP, but I just checked it at here https://ico.selfie-go.com/mvp there is no download option to try. Can you explain that?

I gotchu fam: https://ethgasstation.info/index.php

That's live. Check it before making a transaction (at least, one where you dictate the gas).

Yes, that ethgas station site is very useful. Big thanks to the makers.
Before I know that site, every my ETH transactions always pending.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: May 29, 2018, 02:45:18 PM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst

I can say it depends. If you f you find a good ALTCOIN, I do not think it's necessary to sell it.
I also suggest you diversify your Crypto assets, not only fill your bag with Bitcoin.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: May 29, 2018, 02:42:46 PM
I'm gonna be honest with you all , i have been trading/investing since 2017.

I earned about 110.000 by trading and basically lost it all, i decided to sell the rest and just quit. I'm gonna explain why, this cryptocurrency market
is very manipulative and can easily be controlled and it will never stop. The icos/alts will always keep sucking all the btc cash so it will always be hard for btc to grow and
dominate.

This market is made to make money and profit from noobs it's like a bitconnect scheme. Every dollar that is made by someone, someone will lose money. Every dollar that
is made in this system will be sold to fiat and if there is low btc buy power it will mean that btc will only keep going down. This market is basically made to make
money from new users like a scheme. For example can you actually believe that if you would've put 10k usd into bitconnect you would have a monthly return of about 4500
every month by lending? This is unbelievably high which again means for every btc/dollar you lend out into this cryptocurrency system = someone will lose money that's
the main reason this market won't be there for long. Because it's basically a pyramid scheme.

Just relax. I see you are quite stressful. Honestly, I also hate when loss my money. But we all understand that crypto market is volatile.
A lot of whales manipulate the market. I also use technical analysis and fundamental analysis. But sometimes those function did not work in this market.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why the price of token ico cheap when entering the market on: May 28, 2018, 08:51:08 AM
now, many people are losing to buy ico tokens, when the tokens go to market, the token price is down, do you guys here much experience like this

Yes, I've experienced this a lot. There are several possibilities that make this happened. First, bounty hunter immediately dumping the tokens after the first listing in exchanges. Not only, bounty participant, but I believe some investor who only wants quick profit also do the same. Second, no update or progress from the team project about the products.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 ICOs right now on: May 28, 2018, 08:44:09 AM
Top 5 ICO now as listed by WalrusCap:

1. NEX @neonexchange
2. Atonomi @atonomi
3. Cardstack @cardstack
4. OpenFuture @OpenPlatformICO
5. Metronome @MTNToken

New ICO to check: OneLedger @OneLedgerTech

ICO analysis sheet link: /u7Yw6K]https://[Suspicious link removed]/u7Yw6K

Any opinion on this? All these are pretty well ranked with most of the influencers (could help in promotion and success of the ICO).

I already know about those ICO above. But I still doubt about Cardstack ICO.
I went to ICObench site and I found that Cardstack rating only got 3.9 https://icobench.com/ico/cardstack
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest on ripple or litecoin ? on: May 28, 2018, 08:40:32 AM
Hello everyone.
I want to buy some coin and hold it for at least 1 year. What should I invest on, ripple or litecoin ?

Well, honestly I would choose Litecoin rather than Ripple. Litecoin using "scrypt" algorithm.
As far as I know, Litecoin can be mined. So, I can get more income with mining Litecoin.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their regulators on: May 26, 2018, 04:29:20 PM
Good afternoon, does anyone have a table for each country with their crypto-coins regulators? Like for example:
Brazil: CVM - Brazilian Securities Commission
United States: SEC - United States Securities and Exchange Commission
...

So that news of regulations can be tracked directly from regulators.

I think this one is a good thing to start:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_financial_regulatory_authorities_by_country

Notably for US: Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)
Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)

Japan: Financial Services Agency
Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC)

South Korea: Korea, South:
Financial Services Commission (FSC)
Financial Supervisory Service (FSS)

Well, this is what I need. I just curious about my own country on the Cryptocurrency regulation.
Actually, I've seen good infographics about this case in Telegram group chat. But unfortunately, I forgot to saved it. And now it's difficult to find that image again.
