41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 02:25:12 PM
David Raya is the only person should be blamed in this match, he just make Arsenal looks struggle when the rest ten players play really good. Arteta need to put him on the bench, until Ramsdale is tired or injured, he can play again.

If Arteta use a same lineup in the upcoming match, Aston Villa will able to beat Arsenal.

So what happened to the defenders? Are they not suppose to clear the ball before the ball gets to Luton Town players? The defenders also should be looked at. I don't really like this pointing of one finger to a particular player. Last night, I can only blame him for the goal scored by Rose Barkley. That went pass him too easy, he should have done enough to stop that ball from going though. David Raya has got to be Mikel Arteta's first choice goalkeeper, how do you even expect him to dump him on the bench? That's not happening.

There was nothing wrong with the lineup, The Polish left full back that played from the first half should habe made good in runs. Gladdens me to see Arteta reading that game well. Zichenko in influenced the midfied alongside Rice

Arsenal's future towards the championship title may be lost entirely to goalkeeper David Raya. Recently, he continuously made unforgivable mistakes and became a disaster for the team. David Raya was not at fault for Luton's first goal in the first half, but the goalkeeper was at fault for Arsenal's following two objectives. Witnessing David Raya's poor performance, Arsenal fans are fed up and want Aaron Ramsdale to return. Watching Raya handle it was so uncomfortable—mistakes like Andre Onana. I swear, if anyone says David Raya is a better goalkeeper than Aaron Ramsdale, they are wrong.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 05, 2023, 02:03:36 PM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?
usually, the lonely person will feel the need to get rid of that feeling of loneliness by doing activities they like, and if they are used to gambling then that will lead them to gamble more because I have experienced this but it will be different if they are not someone who is used to gambling then he will do other activities that are his favorite so he doesn't feel lonely, that's why it's quite important to have a hobby so that when we feel lonely we can divert with that hobby and not lead us to gamble more.

Yes, this is true. A lonely person makes us addicted to many things, not just gambling. They feel lonely and need to do something to kill time, and gradually, they become addicted.
Before I got married, I was addicted to gambling and alcohol. Actually, addiction to those things will destroy us. But not as much as the loneliness and boredom that it brings. And now I'm married. I have a wife to manage me and spend much time with my family. Gambling and alcohol no longer help me. Loneliness is always what pushes us to make mistakes.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 05, 2023, 01:36:29 PM
I also used to follow this kind of strategy. First rule would be that I would only gamble the amount that I am effort to loose. For me it was 5% of my whole capital. I knew clearly if I lost 5% it wouldn't effect my family or daily need or my life. There would another rule I followed that never chase looses. That means if I already spend my 5% already I wouldn't gamble anymore. Despite the odds if the limit is hit then there would be no gambling. I followed this rule everyday. I also had a daily limits how much how much I would spend on gambling. So i think, if we follow proper money management strategy like your 1% method we can do better than most of the irresponsible gamblers.

It's great that you can do this. You are a responsible gambler. If you follow the rules you set, your gambling won't affect your family, your job, or the people around you. I have compliments for you.
But for those who see gambling as a place to make money, this rule will not apply to them. If you always follow the rules you set, then gambling for you is just an entertaining game. Can't help us win big.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: December 05, 2023, 09:47:08 AM
To gamble responsibly, we need to set up rules for ourselves. The first thing is not to gamble with money necessary for our daily needs. This must be surplus money. We are willing to lose that money. And need to set limits on how much you can gamble. The second thing is to arrange reasonable gambling time and keep the set rules. The third thing is to never borrow money to gamble, you will get into big trouble. And lastly, you need to know when to stop, whether you win or lose.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 05, 2023, 08:55:42 AM
Barca goalkeeper Ter Stegen is likely to have surgery for a back injury and faces the risk of a long-term layoff. Ter Stegen suffered a back injury. He missed Barca's last 3 matches against Rayo Vallecano, Porto, and Atletico Madrid. Ter Stegen is an essential player for Barcelona, not only professionally but also as a spiritual leader. Therefore, not having Ter Stegen will be a big loss for Xavi. I was worried when Pena replaced Ter Stegen.

Girona can always provide a surprise in every match able to turn things around to take the lead after being 1 goal behind from Valencia. Is it still saying that Girona are not the right contenders for this season?  Sometimes I will praise them for their consistency so far.  However Girona continues to stick with Madrid and is  away from Barcelona with a difference of 7 points. So how do you think  Barcelona managed to lose out to Girona? We have a new competitor whether Girona doesn't need to beat Madrid because conquering another club is an opportunity with much greater potential.  Back to Barcelona which is in trouble  because main striker Lewandowski will soon leave.

Girona was said to be out of breath in the match against Athletic Bilbao. They were held to a 1-1 draw and dropped to second place on the rankings. Since the beginning of the season, Girona has lost only one match. They are also the team with the best attack (34 goals). Girona came out first and was determined to pressure the championship race with a courageous 2-1 victory over Valencia. However, Real Madrid continued to show class and bravery through an easy 2-0 victory over Granada at home to protect the top spot after the 15th round.
If Barcelona loses to Girona, it will be an extraordinary thing. I'm also afraid that it's true that Barcelona is showing signs of weakening. If Lewandowski leaves, they will no longer have any pillars to help the team earn many goals. Xavi will have a lot of headaches. Those who doubt Girona's ability must retract their words. This team is the most exciting surprise in Europe today.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 03, 2023, 08:48:57 AM
This is two consecutive wins for Milan and they did it with a fairly landslide score of 3-1 against Frosinone. Previously, Milan had faded and often lost opportunities to win in the last few matches, but since last week they have managed to win against Fiorentina, which has also increased the team's motivation.

The results were visible in this match and Luka Jovic opened Milan's lead in this match before it was finally closed by goals from Pulisic and Tomori. It's been a long time since I saw Luka Jovic perform and finally he provided something when the team needed his services. Milan managed to stay in 3rd place in the standings and continues to widen the distance from Napoli. Meanwhile, Frosinone is still in the middle of the table with 2 wins from the 5 matches they have played.

AC Milan players were devastated after their Champions League defeat to Dortmund. Olivier Giroud is still suspended in Serie A. Even though the squad is chaotic, AC Milan, with a home yard advantage, is still the superior team in the match. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan provided an excellent assist. Pulisic, after catching Maignan's pass, had an impressive solo run, and in the end, he beat goalkeeper Turati by turning and finishing with his right foot. I don't think Mike Maignan has the ability to deliver such an accurate long pass. It was great that his assist put the ball right at Pulisic's feet. I was surprised by this goal. Milan is still 4 points behind top team Juventus. They need to try harder.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: December 03, 2023, 05:33:23 AM
I started gambling online by seeing those big bonuses on ads and after that I knew that these require wagering to be able to claim those bonuses.
it was hard to complete those requirements so I lost of first deposit and I deposited second time i lost that too, I was playing irresponsibly and without knowing anything about online casinos.
I learned the lesson hard way that player cannot win in gambling long term if he doesn't able to control his emotions.

For the most part, bonus systems in casinos are designed to make a gambler in the casino as much money as possible to his account. If you consider the fact that the casino has an advantage over the gambler, it is easy to understand that the more you gamble, the more you will lose money. This is a very simple marketing move, which many do not understand and continue to chase bonuses.

You know, honestly, that it's very easy to gamble responsibly, but when we're in the actual casino online, the scenario is no longer like that. A lot changes, especially if you've experienced winning here, because the feeling of winning is different.

Everything changes; often, winning in gambling is what makes you go back to gambling because most people think that they might get lucky again. There is the curiosity to continue without realizing that they are leading to addiction without them noticing.

An individual's gambling often starts with playing for fun and playing socially with friends. Then it becomes a habit with more frequency of playing. If you are addicted to gambling, you may continuously gamble, leading to losses, hide your behavior, use up all your savings, accumulate debt, or even steal or cheat to support your gambling addiction. Gambling addiction is currently a dangerous condition that can ruin your life.
I was also addicted to gambling and lost a fair amount of money. I realized that I was addicted to gambling. I took a long break from playing, and now that I go to the casino with a responsible player, I am controlling my mood well. I don't know if I'll get addicted again or not. But my mood is still comfortable whether I win or lose in gambling.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: December 02, 2023, 11:58:03 PM
Indeed, someone who gambles should not chase victory because it is difficult and they may not be able to win.
It is highly discouraged and in fact always warned that chasing wins or chasing losses will result in a person losing more money which can cause emotions to rise and a gambler to lose control which will cause the first signs of addiction to start to take over him.

and all these incidents of chasing wins or chasing losses actually happen when a gambler deposits a budget to gamble in larger amounts so that when a gambler has a large budget, psychologically his mind wants to win bigger than his budget and this is reckless behavior carried out by gamblers using a budget which is too big.

It's greed that lead the person to his winning streak, most of the time that misconception create a big risk with your finances, once you follow that desire chasing your winning streak, your apetite into gambling will increase and the bad part is when you start experiencing losing streak as you will continue to chase everything and will try to recover back your money in a quicker time frame.

The outcome most of the time will not favor your side but it will for the house that will benefit a lot.

Yes, we should not try to win in gambling, the more we think like that, the mind will not be able to relax comfortably to gamble. The state of mind always affects the results of gambling. Big wins or losses lead to players losing control of themselves. They will continue to play bigger, hoping to win or make back the money they lost.
Why don't we withdraw profits after winning big and continue playing with the original capital? This will keep you feeling safe and psychologically comfortable. Let's put greed aside. The more greedy we are, the more we will be swept into a gambling spiral, making it difficult to escape.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 02, 2023, 03:55:46 PM
Play gambling happily and with a comfortable mind. Don't turn it into a job to make money Because it's not possible to make a steady income from gambling. I try to restrain myself from becoming addicted to gambling, which is very difficult to do. Don't say gambling is a career. Even if I'm lucky in gambling, I can't do this.

I think this is the thinking of people addicted to gambling. They cover up their addiction by saying that gambling is their job to make money.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 01, 2023, 11:51:13 PM
I'm not sure if Liverpool will even well Salah to other teams like Saudi teams but the fact about Liverpool is they will need to buy another player to take the place of Salah in this team if they really sell this player and maybe that's why they are planning to send an offer for Mbbape and hope to hire this player from PSG.

Last season, Liverpool tried to keep Salah. And now they want to sell him for a large sum of money. Salah may leave Liverpool due to a "huge" offer from Al Ittihad Club. This move shows they want to find a group of young players to continue with them for the long haul. But are they attractive enough to recruit Mpbappe? I think not. They should keep Salah and buy another striker. It could be Victor Osimhen. He will be more suitable for Liverpool's form.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 01, 2023, 11:36:45 PM
Manchester City will be looking forward to hosts Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium this week, we expects the usual humiliation that will be exerted on Spurs from Manchester City. Pep Guardiola and his fired squad will thrash Angelos Postecoglou and his men with ease efforts because we're yet to watch these returning injured players falling back to the team. Tottenham Hotspur have fallen from the race to compete with elite clubs this season, probably for temporary moments but this shouldn't be an event to unmotivated the players from reaching their peak this season.

Tottenham just lost 3 matches in a row. I still rate this team very highly. Under the leadership of coach Postecoglou, Tottenham had a period of very sublime performance. However, in the last 3 rounds, they appeared to be out of breath when they failed to win any points in the Premier League. It is not difficult to explain Tottenham's decline. It all stems from the virus injury that seems to have claimed more than half of their main squad, the most serious of which is Maddison's long absence. They are facing their 4th consecutive defeat. This possibility is likely to happen because Man City is an opponent Tottenham does not want to meet now.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 30, 2023, 11:58:30 PM
That person is probably someone who earns income from gambling websites offering rewards. They will do the tasks that the gambling website offers to make money. They will be careful about losses occurring. For example, they are responsible for inviting players to participate in gambling on the website. But this amount is very little. Players must be very good at this.

Gambling with a stable income. I haven't seen anyone around me who can do this. It is absolutely difficult for those who gamble because no one can control greed. If I can control my greed, then I can do this.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys, what's the best Bitcoin wallet for PC these days? on: November 30, 2023, 11:56:40 PM
It's hilarious watching so many people recommend switching over from one OS to another OS just because of a Bitcoin wallet. Every OS is plagued by malware and other issues to a certain extent.

Stick to Windows op since its security options are great overall and go with Electrum which gets the job done.

And if we use smartphones and if Android and iOS are not safe to use bitcoin wallet then which operating system should we switch to? Cheesy Cheesy Currently, Windows is still the most popular operating system. If it's true as people say, isn't every computer using Windows in danger? I used to use win XP and am currently using win11 but have never been attacked, is it because I'm lucky or have hackers abandoned me? It all depends on how we use it, our safety does not depend on any operating system, don't blame the operating system when we protect our bitcoins poorly.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 30, 2023, 11:50:55 PM
Fortunately, the government cannot shut down Bitcoin, and it is in no one’s power to shut down Bitcoin. I am very sure that if the government could do that, they would have probably done that a long time ago (rather than just Banning it). In general terms, I think it’ll take the rise of a new innovation that is greater than Bitcoin to rise for Bitcoin to be considered as being shutdown. But what could be more than such cashless money with so much value… I see nothing except Bitcoin.

I have a question what is the government. We have many many many countries with many many many rulers.

can a government declare it illegal? the answer is yes any government can do that. Some have.

Let's talk murder. All governments have declared murder illegal (yeah I know most killings are declared illegal not all just must.

Yet we have killings . So if every government said btc was illegal we may have some btc but less than now.

I just do not think every government will do this.
Actually the government can shut down bitcoin but it needs the cooperation of all governments, but one government and one country cannot do that even if it is a power like America. But countries have competition and hatred for each other, so it is almost impossible for them to join together, so it is almost impossible for the government to shut down bitcoin. Furthermore, bitcoin brings benefits to everyone, it does not cause harm like terrorists or murderers, so banning it without a valid reason will encounter fierce opposition from the people.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a quick rich and get poorer investment. on: November 30, 2023, 11:41:56 PM
Bitcoin cannot not make you poor when you know what you are doing and is more valuable and can make you rich when you wisely trade in futures.
I would not advise newbies to start futures trading, they could easily get liquidated. A less risky strategy and also profitable would to buy and hodl bitcoins for long term than actively trading.
I think you can do a lot better with your writing. Adding punctuation where necessary gives the reader a better understanding of the subject matter and helps them to understand what they are reading in the text.

Not only newbies but even those who have been investing in bitcoin for a long time should stay away from futures trading because it is no different from gambling. If it's a spot trade, I think there will be no problem, but if it's a futures trading, we should stay away from it completely.
OP says bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme but thinks futures trading is a way to make a profit. That's quite contradictory because those who engage in futures trading intend to get rich quickly.
But honestly, I have never seen anyone get rich from trading. The rich people we know are mostly early investors or long-term holders.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using AI for betting predictions on: November 30, 2023, 11:35:39 PM
That is because AIs can tell things that "might" happen based on the data that it gathers but it cannot accurately say what's actually will be the result.

For this, you ask an AI about the future price of Bitcoin and it's going to decline any prediction. And the same goes for betting, it's a future result that don't have accurate details on it.

So, if you guys are smart enough, these AIs are also smart to say that they can't predict 100% with sports betting results.

This AI is very. I believe it can predict some games in gambling accurately, Like weather forecasts. Thanks to modern machines, we can know in advance. AI is increasingly developing. Big companies are investing in it. It is just in the process of incomplete experiments. One day, when AI is perfect, I think it will make gambling more accessible.
Of course, Al can base on the Bitcoin Halving of previous years and calculate the future price of Bitcoin, which will be more accurate than we estimate. I agree that it can be calculated accurately, but we humans are the ones who will physically impact the final result. Just like gambling, if we guess correctly in that gambling game, But the casino example has cheated in this and turned the truth upside down. Then we still lose.
58  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: November 30, 2023, 11:35:22 PM
As I see it, most people do not support this action of yours because it can endanger you by people with bad intentions. That means people also advise you not to share bitcoins with others because once you spread the word about bitcoins, everyone will know you own bitcoins.

In my opinion, you should adjust flexibly depending on the environmental conditions where you live. If there is an environment with good security and people are sociable, then popularizing bitcoin to everyone is necessary and advisable. If your area has a lot of crime and social evils, you shouldn't brag about everything.

It is clear that OP's actions are of course very dangerous for himself, and people will definitely see the clothes that OP is wearing and of course it will become a spectacle because people who wear Bitcoin clothes are very rare to find, indeed there could be areas where the crime rate is not high. found, but in my opinion there are always bad people, even in areas with minimal crime rates.

So in my opinion wearing clothes bitcoin or other crypto clothing is very risky and in my opinion it would be better if we avoided it and for me personally I prefer to be anonymous, because with anonymity we can be free from criminals.

but in my opinion, if in El Salvador it is possible to wear BTC clothes, of course there is no problem, the point is that the risk will not be too high.

That means you and many people here don't want bitcoin to become widely available. Since everyone wants privacy, no one is willing to use bitcoin in public, and no one is willing to share bitcoin with others to make it more popular. You always want people to share bitcoin with others, but at the same time you want privacy and bitcoin to be widely available. Is that selfish? Bitcoin is currency and for it to be currency, do we have to hide it?
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: November 29, 2023, 11:18:13 PM
Well, quit gambling? I think this is even harder for me than quitting smoking and drinking alcohol. Cigarettes and alcohol are always harmful to health, and they are costly. I'm thinking of giving them up. Regarding gambling, I will never quit. It is my spiritual food. It really helps me entertain myself and earn some money. There is no reason for me to give up gambling.
Yes, gambling also involves high risks. Your addiction to gambling will ruin your life more than cigarettes and alcohol. So it depends on each person. If you feel gambling is beneficial for yourself, Why do we give up gambling?
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling are mainly for rich and lucky mind. on: November 29, 2023, 10:54:38 PM
I don't know any viable strategies for rich people to win in gambling, But they will still have a higher win rate than poor people. Being rich and lucky will help rich people gamble more than poor people. Their winning rate will increase. If they lose 1 game, they are willing to play 10 games. If you play more, you will gain experience, and your winning rate will continue to increase. The last thing is that their minds are always at ease because they have a lot of money. Winning or losing is as simple as playing a game. As for people with low incomes, I imagine they just lost a few months' salary. I have also been in that situation.

But being rich doesn't make people luckier rich people hold a higher risk appetite so they can afford to lose more bets whereas poor people will be exhausted their balance after a small losing streak.

Well, what I am trying to say is that financial status has nothing to do with the luck factor.

In my opinion, from a deep perspective, rich people are related to luck. It is only luck that makes them rich. Sometimes, they don't need to be good at what they're doing. Therefore, I still think that rich people are usually luckier than poor people in gambling. (If they lose in the first gamble, in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, they will also fail due to bad luck, but in the following gambles, they will have to win. This is the luck I want to talk about)
Poor people can only lose the first few games and run out of capital, unable to win in the following rounds. That's also your thought, right? I call it luck.
